Os docentes estão envolvidos em uma rede de relações que os direciona quase que inevitavelmente a um tipo de sociabilidade convergente com aquela percebida no capitalismo contemporâneo.ABSTRACTThe object of this study is to analyse the norms that governs the " non-titling promotion " of the teachers of the state network of basic education of Ceará. In addition, it will be sought to know how these norms aim to mold the teachers of that network in an attempt to "govern them" according to the new demands of contemporary capitalism, especially considering the theory of "human capital." The specific objectives are: (1) to describe the profile of the teachers studied; (2) to relate human capital theory with the Foucaultian notion of government; (3) identify and analyze elements of promotion norms that relate to the theory of human capital and with the Foucaultian notion of government; and (4) to understand to what extent the promotion process is aimed at the government (FOUCAULT, 2008) of its actions, through the establishment of competitive relations with its peers. To do so, the following methodological procedures were used: documentary analysis of the norms and laws that regulate the said process of functional ascension, which will allow to understand the context and the conjuncture of the documents analyzed. In addition, a literature review was performed. Some results are: the rules of non-titling promotion contribute to foster the government of teachers in accordance with the new demands of capitalism, which is reflected in competitive relations between those workers. Teachers are involved in a network of relationships that leads them almost inevitably to a kind of sociability convergent with that perceived in contemporary capitalism.

The author considers the questions relating to the formation of lawyers’ professional traits from the point of view of the significance which human capital and investment in this capital hold in contemporary times. It follows from the analyses, which were carried out, that the dire need for taking up actions with the aim to shape lawyers appears one of the most vital tasks. This requires taking into account visible trends in the changing job market. Another aspect results from the need for multilevel qualifications and conditions behind lawyers’ actions and their decisions. Thus, colleges of higher education which educate prospective lawyers, as well as lawyers’ corporations, are confronted by challenges of forming, in young people, features that are indispensable for them to be valuable lawyers and not only executors of simple activities. The author points to the fact that lawyers need shaping because, among others, during their whole social lives and realization of professional tasks their personality traits and potential related to communication will constantly manifest through accepting and following or rejecting and opposing values, principles, reflexions, empathy, sensitivity, the farthest-fetched imagination, objectivism, cooperation, dialogue, distancing themselves from political disputes, etc. Students of the art of law should be characterized by a changed mentality, new vision of law – service to man, and realization of standards of law, as well as perception of the importance of knowledge, skills, attitudes and competences.

The options for conventional graduate careers have become more limited in the last 20 years. This has stimulated an increase in university programmes and modules designed to encourage students to start their own businesses. The recent global Covid-19 pandemic is likely to make the job market even more difficult for those graduating from universities in the next few years. A career as an entrepreneur is a realistic alternative to employment in the ‘gig’ economy for many young graduates. University-based incubators can provide a sheltered learning environment for those wishing to develop business ideas without incurring a large financial burden. In this paper, the authors draw on a range of literature (business incubation, entrepreneurial learning, human capital and communities of practice) to develop a model of a university-based incubator that will support young people in their transition to becoming real entrepreneurs.
