This study aims to examine the relationship between the meaning of the song and sluku dolanan lir ilir-sluku bathok planting anak.Tembang children dolanan character is a creation of Sunan Kalijaga as one method of preaching. The method used in this study is the historical method with kualitatif.Sedangkan approach to data retrieval techniques do with literature and documentation. Sunan Kalijaga is one walisongo influential in the process of Islamization in Java. Java community who originally was held the belief that the ancestors of the Hindu-Buddhist belief is not merely willing to convert to Islam, but with the method performed by Sunan Kalijaga namely cultural and educational approach to attract the Java community little by little. One method of propaganda Sunan Kalijaga namely the creation of a song-song dolanan which contains the meaning of moral values that can be used in the cultivation of character in children as human anak.Karakter not necessarily be obtained from birth but can be shaped by their environment. Therefore, planting the characters should be done as early as possible due to the nature / character of children who are still malleable and directed. Through songs of dolanan, Sunan Kalijaga slipping moral values that can be used as one of the media in the character formation of children. Focussing on a commercial magic specialist (mag) well-known in Petersburg today, the article examines the strategies adopted by her and others to gain the confidence of their clientele. It opens by examining the levels of social trust in Russia, arguing that distrust and feelings of defenselessness encourage a sizeable proportion of Russians with the traditional view that problems are externally generated, to think of turning for help to magic practitioners. With magic services derided in the media and condemned by the Church, the magic specialist NPP must counter this negative image as well as promote her services above those of her competitors. Whereas in 2006 she relied on press advertising and recommendation by satisfied customers, in 2012 her main promotional tool is her website. The article examines the specific ways in which she tackles the creation of a trustworthy image. Since magic services offer a kind of therapy, another aspect examined in detail is the relationship with psychology and psychotherapy. It is suggested that from the early 1990s to around 2005 magic specialists sought to hijack psychotherapy, but that more recently links have been played down as magic practitioners define their potential clientele more clearly. The article offers reasons for this, and speculates on future developments.

Television channels for children contain many cartoons and programs. These productions reach the viewers via both the television and the channel's official website. TRT Çocuk, broadcasting for children as a government television channel, presents many locally produced animated cartoons to the viewers. A product of the modern and digital technology, these locally produced cartoons carry importance in terms of transfer of social values. This study focuses on locally produced animation cartoons that have an important potential especially in the transfer of national and moral values. Determination of values conveyed via cartoons that bear importance in the transformation of television into an educational tool allows the media and child relationships to become visible. This work aims to examine the relationship between media and values by defining the concept of “value.” After creating a corporate frame, the study brings to light the social values conveyed in locally produced cartoons aired on TRT Çocuk television channel via qualitative analysis method.

The object is the relationship between the professionalization of Brazilian nursing and women, in the broadcasting of news about the creation of the Professional School of Nurses, in the light of gender. Aims: to discuss the linkage of women to the beginning of the professionalization of Brazilian nursing following the circumstances and evidence of the creation of the Professional School of Nurses analyzed from the perspective of gender. The news articles were analyzed from the viewpoint of Cultural History, founded in the gender concept of Joan Scott and in the History of Women. The creation of the School and the priority given in the media to women consolidate the vocational ideal of the woman for nursing in a profession subjugated to the physician but also representing the conquest of a space in the world of education and work, reconfiguring the social position of nursing and of woman in Brazil.

<p><em>Ondel-ondel</em>, initially believed to have fearsome characteristics and magical ability to ward evil spirits off, is still performed in various areas in Jakarta on particular occasions. <em>Ondel-ondel</em> was originally an ancient artwork named <em>barongan</em>. This research aims to seek a theoretical explanation of the <em>ondel</em>-<em>ondel</em> phenomenon by examining the relationship between the media and local culture. Several defining features of postmodernism are incorporated to reframe <em>ondel-ondel</em> as a form of entertainment, along with the interplay between the tradition and technology-assisted media. This paper seeks to reveal the actual meaning of <em>ondel-ondel</em> for locals and non-locals during their encounters with <em>ondel-ondel</em>. The research found (1) that<em> ondel-ondel</em> is an attempt to reinvent the way people seek entertainment in the face of changes brought about by modernity and (2) that the presence of<em> ondel-ondel</em> communicated in the virtual space generates digital traces in the form of messages contributing to the creation and the re-creation of <em>ondel-ondel</em> itself. </p>

The myth of modern culture's superiority to other cultures is instilled as a norm to the masses through the media. The myth of the cultural superiority of the West not only formed with the economic possibilities of the West but was also supported by the non-Western world by self-orientalism, thus becoming sustainable. While themes such as modernity, development, and technological superiority are watched within the scope of Hollywood films, several platforms have been created for non-US countries to watch alternative films. Although films known as European and World Cinema have the chance to show themselves at film festivals rather than film theatres, non-Western directors face a cultural challenge in these festivals due to the sociocultural structure of Western-based film festivals. In this study, by examining how non-Western directors are directed towards self-orientalism indirectly through festivals and funds, the relationship between the creation of sustainable orientalism in cinema and the political economy of the film industry will be revealed.

ABSTRAK   Pendidikan karakter merupakan hal penting yang harus di tumbuhkan pada anak usia dini, salah satunya mengenai kemandirian. Anak usia dini merupakan masa yang menjadi dasar pembentukan karakter dan kepribadian anak. Sehingga akan sangat penting bila kemandirian sudah mulai ditumbuhkan sejak dini. Salah satu cara untuk menumbuhkan kemandirian pada anak usia dini bisa dilakukan dengan bermain. Bermain mempunyai arti yang sangat penting bagi anak karena setiap anak mempunyai dorongan untuk bermain dan merupakan suatu kebutuhan untuk seorang anak. Dengan bermain, aspek kemandirian akan didapat dari bagaimana cara anak menyelesaikan sebuah tantangan tanpa harus ketergantungan pada orang lain. Metode bermain yang digunakan yaitu dengan menggunakan media puzzle. Media puzzle adalah media permainan anak yang akan meningkatkan kognitif anak serta akan membantu anak mengembangkan kemampuan kemandirian dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu dengan studi literatur yang merupakan survei dan pembahasan literatur pada bidang tertentu dari suatu penelitian. Studi ini merupakan gambaran singkat dari apa yang telah dipelajari, argumentasi, dan ditetapkan tentang suatu topik, dan biasanya diorganisasikan secara kronologis atau tematis.   Kata Kunci : pendidikan karakter, kemandirian, anak usia dini, puzzle.   Character education is an important thing that should be grown in early childhood, one of which is about independence. Early childhood is the period that became the basis of character formation and personality of children. So it will be very important if the independence has begun to grow early on. One way to cultivate self-reliance in early childhood can be d one by playing. Playing has a very important meaning for the child because every child has a drive to play and is a necessity for a child. By playing, the independence aspect will be gained from how the children solve a challenge without having to depend on others. Playing method used is by using the media puzzle. Media puzzle is a child's game media that will improve children's cognitive and will help children develop the ability of independence in solving problems. The research method used is literature study which is a survey and discussion of literature in certain field of a research. Early childhood period is a golden age, where at this time aspects of child development very rapidly, including in order to shape their character. Character education is complex education because it involves aspects of cognitive, feeling, and action. Character education is based on basic human character, which comes from universal moral values (absolute) derived from religion which is also referred to as the golden rule. Character education can be taught systematically in a holistic education model using the method of knowing the good, feeling the good, and acting the good. Character will be formed as a result of understanding 3 relationships that must be experienced by every human being (triangle relationship), namely the relationship with oneself (intrapersonal), with the environment (social and natural relationships), and relationships with God (spiritual). Abstrak Masa usia dini adalah masa emas, dimana pada masa ini aspek-aspek perkembangan anak berkembang sangat pesat, termasuk di dalamnya adalah masa emas dalam rangka membentuk karakternya. Pendidikan karakter adalah pendidikan budi pekerti plus, yaitu yang melibatkan aspek pengetahuan (cognitive), perasaan (feeling), dan tindakan (action). Pendidikan karakter berpijak dari  karakter dasar manusia, yang bersumber dari nilai moral universal (bersifat absolut) yang bersumber dari agama yang juga disebut sebagai the golden rule. Dan dapat diajarkan secara sistematis dalam model pendidikan holistik menggunakan metode knowing the good, feeling the good, dan acting the good. Karakter akan terbentuk sebagai hasil pemahaman 3 hubungan yang pasti dialami setiap manusia (triangle relationship), yaitu hubungan dengan diri sendiri (intrapersonal), dengan lingkungan (hubungan sosial dan alam sekitar), dan hubungan dengan Tuhan YME (spiritual).

Indonesia is a country with a high level of cultural heterogeneity. In accordance with the State of the Republic of Indonesia’s President Joko Widodo, the country needs disruptive innovations. Disruptive innovation reverses the impossibility into opportunities and results intransformative value for the Indonesian people and nation. Disruptive innovation can also be applied in the arts. Moreover, amid the setbacks in the ethical and moral values ​​of the Indonesian nation, art offers a way to shape character. One of the Balinese arts which has succeeded in changing the character is the art of Balinese traditional music. The tradition of storytelling, traditional children’s games and songs (gending) Bali is needed in upholding moral values ​​and character education early on. For this reason, the creation of the “Rare Kelangon” which has been tested by the international public at the Cultural Performance at the IMF in Nusa Dua Bali on October 11, 2018 and the 24th National Education Day on August 25, 2019. The method used in creating this music innovative of Gender wayang was the research and development of Brog and Gall combined with Bandem and Suteja’s Balinese art creation method. There are 8 stages of creations, namely ngerencana,nuasen, makalin, refinement of the initial product, ngebah I, revision of the final refinement and ngebah II. The results of the study found that the innovations which made in the creation of Rare Kelangon works were extension types, which the invention of the development of existing products, added so that it becomes something new and valuable. The gender wayanggamelan has existed before, but to revive the genderwayang songs, a component of work which also needs to be preserved is gending rare (traditional children’s songs), traditional games, and satua (fairy tales) of the Balinese people who are also full of values ​​of character education.

AbstrakPenelitian ini membahas tentang perancangan film pendek dengan judul “Bukan Hak-Ku” sebagai salah satu media yang dapat digunakan untuk pendidikan karakter pada anak. Pendidikan karakter berisi nilai-nilai moral untuk anak sangat penting untuk dikenalkan sejak usia dini. Salah satu aspek dari nilai-nilai moral dalam pendidikan karakter yaitu kejujuran. Kejujuran merupakan salah satu sifat dasar yang dimiliki manusia dan harus ditanamkan sejak kecil. Salah satu strategi yang dapat digunakan pendidik untuk menanamkan nilai tersebut adalah dengan media audio visual berupa film. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan tujuan agar penelitian ini dapat mengungkapkan aspek-aspek yang harus ditekankan dalam sebuah film pendek sehingga penanaman nilai kejujuran dapat dilakukan. Film pendek adalah salah satu media pembelajaran baru bagi anak. Orang tua berperan untuk mengarahkan dan membuat anak mengerti dengan latar belakang budaya yang dekat dengan anak dan memudahkan anak untuk memahami alur cerita serta mengimplementasi cerita tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata Kunci:  film, kejujuran, keluarga, moral  AbstractThis study discusses the design of short films titled Bukan Hak-Ku as one of the media that can be used for character education. The method used in this study is a qualitative method to reveal aspects that should be emphasized in a short film so as to instill the values of honesty. Short films are one of the new learning media for children. Parents have a role to direct and make children understand the cultural background that is close to the child.
