The search for improvements in the quality of education leads to interest in technological tools that support the teaching and learning activities in a student-centered design approach. The goal of this study is to explore AVAs activities and resources focusing on how they can improve technological appropriation and student-centered design. The subject is explored starting from studies on the literature, AVAs analysis, and teachers' researches highlighting the relationships between the semiotic affordance levels and technological appropriation ones as well as insights about the gap that exists between what is projected for an AVA and how it is really used.

This study aims to find out the position and role of lecturers in carrying out the task of implementing the national education system and realizing the goals of national education. Lecturers are one of the determinants of the quality of education. The success of the implementation of higher education is largely determined by the readiness of the lecturer in preparing their students through teaching and learning activities or the learning process. The strategic position of lecturers to improve the quality of educational outcomes is strongly influenced by professional abilities in teaching and their level of welfare. To realize this; then the strategy of empowering lecturers is needed in order to realize professionalism that can be accounted for. Education plays a very important role in the process of improving the quality of human resources and is a process that is integrated with the process of improving the quality of human resources themselves. For this reason, the government implements School-Based Management which involves relevant stakeholders, especially the community. This study aims to find out and analyze the collaboration of the Committee (community) with the Head of Madrasa in terms of improving the quality of education at Madrasa Aliyah Negeri in Banda Aceh City. Data collection in this study was conducted by interview, documentation, and observation. While the results of this study are the authors find that the Cooperation Committee and the Head of MAN in Banda Aceh City have been carried out in the form of partnerships that synergize and mutually understand the roles and functions of each institution in order to improve the quality of Madrasah education, this is clearly seen by the implementation of the boarding school program, student creativity activities, extracurricular activities and also academic achievement of students who continue to increase along with the increasing intensity of collaboration of the committee and the head of the Madrasah as a whole in all aspects that include learning activities, facilities, infrastructure, and technical education materially and non materially, so that it gives a significant influence on the quality of education at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri in Banda Aceh City.

Higher education is an education level that includes diplomat, undergraduate and doctoral programs. The purpose of higher education is to improve the quality of the workforce, to help improve the quality of the workforce each university must have the facilities needed in teaching and learning activities. This study discusses the Analysis of the K-Means Method in the Grouping of Universities by Province Based on the Facilities of the Village. Sources of data obtained from data collected based on documents from 2003 to 2018 through the website of the Indonesian Statistics Agency. Data is processed into 2 clusters, namely the highest facility level cluster (C1) and the lowest facility level cluster (C2). So that obtained from 34 provinces 3 provinces are grouped in high facility level clusters (C1) and 31 provinces are grouped in low facility level clusters (C2). This can be input to the government for provinces that have higher education institutions that still have inadequate facilities in each village and are of more concern to the government based on the cluster that is being conducted.Keywords: K-Means, Higher education, Grouping, Facilities

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process that is actively able to make students develop their potential. Education is expected to be able to create students who have religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, and noble character. These skills are not only needed for themselves, but also useful for the people of the nation and state. Efforts that can be made to ascertain whether an educational goal has been achieved is by conducting an evaluation. This evaluation is carried out to determine whether a program is feasible. In addition, evaluation is intended to control, guarantee, and determine the quality of education related to the sharing of educational components. Evaluation is carried out at all levels and types of education in order to be accountable to students related to the implementation of education that has been carried out by an educational institution. Thus, between teaching and learning activities and evaluation is a continuous series and cannot be separated. This is because evaluation is used as a useful measuring tool to determine and determine the level of success of students in learning activities.

Building the quality of education continues to be done, both by the government and the school as education providers. In an effort to meet the needs and demands of society on the quality of education and simultaneously as a response to the changes of life very quickly in the era of globalization. For that reason researchers need research on improving the quality of teaching and learning process through supervisory function in the integrated quality management in the District Kepengawasan Cluster 05 District Magersari Mojokerto City. This research uses action research for three cycles. Each cycle consists of one meeting each of which consists of four stages: design, activity and observation of reflection and revision. The target of this research is Master of Kepengawasan District School Cluster 05 Magersari Subdistrict Mojokerto City 15 people. The data obtained in the form of the results of supervision assessment of teaching and learning process. The success of the learning process in cycle III shows that the cycle can be stopped because it has met the target of> 70%. This is evident from the average increase in teacher performance per cycle. The conclusions of this research are: The quality of teaching and learning process through supervisory function in integrated quality management in Kepengawasan Area School Cluster 05 Magersari Sub-district Mojokerto City has increased, it can be seen from the average of teacher performance improvement from 65,87 percent in cycle I, to 76.67 in Cycle II and increased to 82.86 percent in Cycle III.

Professional teachers hold the main key to improving the quality of education  in the future. As for the formulation problem in this study, how is the professionalism  of teachers in Elementary school State of West Perak  VI?. This study aims to determine the professionalism  of teachers in Elementary school State of West Perak  VI . The approach used in this research is Qualitative with the interview method. The research data dan comes from the headmaster and teachers. The subjects of this study were four informants, namely one headmaster, one Christian religion subject teacher  and two class teachers. The reason the researcher took the subject was based on the consideration of the headmaster that due to limited time and energy it was better to take the four informats. Data collection was done by interviewing techniques. atlas. ti and drawing conclusions were used to process the interview data. The result showed that the teachers at SDN Perak Barat VI had carried out their duties professionally. It is recommended for teacher profesionalism in the teaching and learning process.

‘Traditional’ theories of learning as pratical dimensions of psychology majorly tend to focus their interest on humans’ inner factors that influence the process of learning such as intelligences, motivation, interest, attitude, concentration and aptitude. They never connect it with instruments and technological inventions such as multimedia, cyber celluler, internet, even social organization, cultural values, traditions etc., while these are very influential nowdays towards the progress and behaviors of human life. As such the application of connectivism theory of learning which connect those dimensions of life with learning activities, is now and then insparable from any effort to promote the quality of humans’ learning itself, including in teaching and learning languages.

The method of learning becomes one of the factors that is very influential, especially for students' academic achievement. Nowadays students are required to be more active in expanding the knowledge they not only get from teaching and learning activities in school, but they can also add knowledge such as from a learning application that they can learn by themselves to hone their understanding of subjects. In the subject of Natural Science (IPA), often the methods or methods used by teachers in teaching are still many that are difficult to understand by the students, the existing learning media less interest of students to study harder, and students sometimes consider easy subjects IPA. Learning Media in High School (SMA) visually displayed in the form of applications that can be accessed with Android-based phones is expected to improve the quality of learning, especially in science subjects.
