Abstract: The world of education in Indonesia indeed faces very complex problems and requires careful reform. To realize quality and efficient education, it is necessary to arrange and implement educational programs that are able to educate students in a sustainable manner. In this case the values of Islamic education are needed to improve the standard of living through all its aspects, which may not be able to reach the intended goals without going through a step-by-step process. By choosing the book titlled la tahzan as a scientific writing because in it the writer found the values of Islamic education that are absolutely needed in dealing with such problems. This is a library research and is a qualitative one. Data sources are then analyzed and the results are recorded and classified in accordance with the planned framework. The results of this study are: 1). to find out the values of Islamic education in the perspectives of education experts which include the value of religious education (aqidah islamiyah), the value of health education, the value of religious education, the value of sex education. 2). To find out the values of Islamic education in the book of Tahzan written by 'Aidh Al-qarni that includes both divine and human values. 3). to find out the differences and similarities of the values of Islamic education in the perspectives of education experts with the values of Islamic education in the book.Keywords: Values, Islamic education, La Tahzan

<p class="abstrak" align="center"><strong><span lang="EN-US">Abstract</span></strong></p><p>This study explains the challenges and solutions to problems that arise related to the presence of a digital based technology world, one of which leads to the world of Islamic education. Islamic religious education must reform and innovate its system. Because if this is not done, then Islamic Religious Education will be left behind, especially in relation to the learning process in the classroom. Currently, the presence of a sophisticated technology based learning model will certainly be a challenge and a separate problem for Islamic Religious Education, especially in the learning process that will be carried out, is Islamic Religious Education able to compete and not be left behind in today's digital era. This issue is certainly quite complicated for all related elements, because situations like this have never happened before. The research method used is Library Research, where the data taken comes from writings and literature that support this research. Preliminary findings show that today PAI must be able to compete and leave conventional ways to reform in accordance with the current situation. PAI is considered necessary to find solutions to the challenges and problems of Islamic Religious Education because this is an important aspect in the world of Islamic education, especially in order to be able to give birth to civilized humans and future leaders in accordance with Islamic teachings.</p><p><strong><em>Keywords</em></strong>: Challenges and Problems, Learning Islamic Religious Education, Digital Era</p><p class="abstrak" align="center"><strong><em>Abstrak</em></strong><strong><em></em></strong></p><p class="abstrak"><em>Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang tantangan dan solusi dari permasalahan yang muncul berkaitan dengan hadirnya dunia tekhnologi berbasis digital, dimana salah satunya mengarah kepada dunia Pendidikan Islam. Saat ini hadirnya model pembelajaran berbasis tekhnologi yang canggih tentu akan menjadi tantangan dan problematika tersendiri bagi Pendidikan Agama Islam khususnya dalam proses pembelajaran yang akan dilakukan, apakah Pendidikan Agama Islam mampu bersaing dan tidak tertinggal dalam era digital hari ini. Persoalan ini tentu cukup pelik dirasakan oleh semua unsur yang terkait, karena situasi dan keadaan seperti ini belum terjadi sebelumnya. Metode penelitian digunakan adalah Library Research, dimana data yang diambil berasal dari tulisan dan literatur yang mendukung penelitian ini. Hasil temuan awal menunjukkan bahwa hari ini PAI harus mampu bersaing dan meninggalkan cara-cara konvensional menuju pembaharuan yang sesuai dengan keadaan saat ini. Character is a complicated issue, even considered an abstract problem. It is said to be abstract because the concept of manners is not yet operational. While good and bad standards for morals are in the objective view of God the Creator of man. If the character is ethics, it is very dangerous, because some of its value will be contrary to the moral lessons that exist in religious subjects. When both are taught (ethics and morals) then the threat is the students will later experience what is called a split personality, that is split personality. Students become confused because there are conflicting values, such as good values ​​in the sense of morals and good value in manners (call: ethics). There is no honest terminology of Arabic versions, honest English versions, false witnesses of Arabic and French versions, as there is no terminology about Arab or Turkish morality. This applies to humans when there is a pattern of intersection between ethical values ​​and customs: ethical values ​​derive from the "right" way (revelation), whereas customs are derived from the habits The purpose of this study are: 1) Describing whether or not the addition manners in the lessons of Islamic Religious Education. 2) Describe the material (content) in the lesson of Islamic Education and the intersection of Budi Pekerti based on traditional perspectives. This study uses "Library Research". The research data used is secondary data. Data collection techniques used are documentation. Data processing is done by conducting the activity of review, verification and reduction, grouping and systematization, and interpretation or interpretation so that a phenomenon has social, academic, and scientific value. From the results of the discussion concluded: 1) Based on the perspective of Islam, the lessons of Islamic Religious Education need not be added with the character, because in fact holistic education includes in the Islamic Religious Education. 2) The content of Islamic Religious Education should include aspects of Islam, ie Aqidah, Shari'ah and Akhlak which are taught in a balanced way, but the lesson of character can be combined as long as the adat is the custom of the Muslims.

The presence of modernization in the world of Islamic education seems to be a necessity that cannot be avoided. The birth of reformer figures in the Islamic world who came from the Middle East and Indonesia became a separate impetus to accelerate the pace of renewal of Islamic education. This research uses library research type (library research) which is carried out using literature (literature) in the form of books, notes, and research reports from previous research. Sources of data can be obtained from documents or document studies. Document study, namely looking for data about things or variables in the form of notes or transcripts, books, newspapers, magazines, and other documents needed for research data. This research proves that the flow of renewal in Islamic education finds momentum when the Indonesian government is able to synergize with Muslim figures. Likewise, the accommodative and cooperative attitude displayed by some Indonesian Muslim leaders and Islamic community organizations has contributed to the government's belief that advancing Islamic educational institutions is not something that is scary but will add stability to the condition of government and politics in Indonesia. It is at this stage that the reform of Islamic education is ultimately integrated into the national education system.

Duties and responsibilities of teachers are not limited in society, even teachers included in this case are essentially strategic components that have an important role and responsibility in determining the progress of the nation's life and become the foundation of expectations of children's parents to make their children good children (anaks haleh) who know how to carry out their religious obligations and have a noble character (akhlak al-karimah). This study aims to determine; What are the Responsibilities of Teachers in Islamic Education according to Hasan Langgulung's Thought ?. What are the Responsibilities of Teachers in Islamic Education according to Buya Hamka's Thought ?. What is the relevance of Hasan Langgulung and Buya Hamka's thoughts on the Responsibilities of Teachers in Islamic Education ?. This research is a library research that uses various sources of literature as a source of research data. Primary data sources are the book Hamka Institution of Life and Budi and Hasan Langgulung Man and Education, An Analysis of Psychology, Philosophy and Education. While secondary data sources in research are books, articles, magazines, newspapers, or other sources, which are then drawn from these data. Based on the results of the processed data, it can be seen that the responsibilities of Teachers in Islamic Education according to Buya Hamka's thinking based on the explanation above, then the responsibility of educators namely educating: a). Faith Education; b). Moral education (morals); c). Physical education (physical and spiritual); d). Community social education; e). Intellectual education. While the Responsibility of Teachers in Islamic Education according to Hasan Langgulung's Thought covers at least 7 things, namely: a). Religious education which includes religious education, aqeedah and worship; b). Moral education (morals); c). Physical education which includes physical education and health; d). Psychological education consisting of psychiatric education and feelings; e). Community social education; f). Intellectual education. The relevance of the thoughts of Buya Hamka and Hasan Langgulung about the Responsibilities of Teachers in Islamic Education can be seen that Education basically revolves around science, charity, morals, and justice. All three are concepts that must be interconnected in the education process. Education for humans is not only to fulfill internal interests as dynamic creatures, but also external interests, namely the orderly and harmonious organization of human civilization.

Abstract. The majority of Indonesia's population embraces Islam, there are some of other religions and beliefs that are also recognized and adhered to by residents in this country, Christians, Catholics, Hindus, Buddhists and Confucians. Indonesian society is a society with a very complex level of diversity, the diversity is known as a multicultural society. This implies that without media in the form of education, plural theology will be difficult to develop in Indonesia. With education, we can have strong basics in understanding differences because essentially education is a process of "an effort to humanize humans". This method of scientific work uses qualitative methods with a library research approach. The results of this scientific work are, Religious education based multicultural that is a process of awareness based on tolerance which is intended as a comprehensive effort to prevent conflicts between religions, prevent religious radicalism, while at the same time foster the realization of positive appreciative attitudes towards plurality, inclusivism in dimensions and any perspective does not promote exclusivism. Religion should be able to be a promoter for humanity to always uphold the peace and improve the welfare of all human beings on this earth. Unfortunately, in real life, religion is often been one of the causes of humanity's violence and destruction. Thus, the fulcrum of religious education based multicultural inclusivism actually lies in the understanding and the effort to live together in the context of religious and cultural differences.

AbstractDemocracy about education in which many problems often occur, one of which is a problem that often occurs in the world of education according to the observations of researchers, such as schools, especially teachers often become a reference of many things that are not desired by the community. When children depend on watching television, it is the school that is targeted because it is considered not to provide maximum media education. When brawls often occur, it is the school that is highlighted the most because schools lack instill education in values. When people do not know much about technology, it is also the school that is the focus because of inattention to the times, and there are still many other examples of problems. The purpose of this study is to find out what is a democratic concept in Islam and to explain democratic education according to Islam. The research method used is a grounded theory method that uses data from materials that are a library (library research), where the author reads and studies books or literature relating to the problem under study. The principles of Islamic democracy towards Islamic education are: There is freedom for educators and students, which freedom here includes: freedom of work, freedom to develop potential and freedom of opinion. Similarities with students in Islamic education. Because Islam provides equal opportunities for all students to get an education or study. Respect for the dignity of individuals in Islamic education. Keywords: Democracy; Discussion; Education; Value.    Abstrak Demokrasi mengenai pendidikan yang mana banyak permasalahan yang sering terjadi salah satunya adalah masalah yang sering terjadi dalam dunia pendidikan menurut hasil pengamatan peneliti, seperti: sekolah terutama guru sering menjadi rujukan dari banyak hal yang tidak diinginkan masyarakat. Ketika anak-anak ketergantungan menonton televisi, sekolahlah yang yang menjadi sasaran karena dianggap tidak memberikan pendidikan media yang maksimal. Ketika sering terjadi tawuran, sekolahlah yang paling disorot karena sekolah kurang menanamkan pendidikan nilai. Ketika masyarakat tidak mengenal jauh teknologi, sekolahlah juga yang menjadi tumpuan karena kurang perhatian terhadap perkembangan zaman, dan masih banyak contoh masalah-masalah yang lainnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsep demokratis dalam Islam dan untuk menjelaskan pendidikan demokratis menurut Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode teori dasar yang menggunakan data dari bahan-bahan yaitu bersifat kepustakaan (library research), dimana penulis membaca dan mempelajari buku-buku atau literatur yang berhubungan dengan permasalahan yang diteliti. Prinsip demokratis dalam Pendidikan Islam yaitu: Adanya kebebasan bagi pendidik dan peserta didik, yang mana kebebasan di sini meliputi: kebebasan berkarya, kebebasan mengembangkan potensi dan kebebasan berpendapat. Persamaan terhadap peserta didik dalam pendidikan Islam. Karena, Islam memberikan kesempatan yang sama bagi semua peserta didik untuk mendapatkan pendidikan atau belajar. Penghormatan akan martabat individu dalam pendidikan Islam.  Kata Kunci: Demokrasi; Musyawarh; Pendidikan; Nilai.

Pesantren as an Islamic educational institution in Indonesia has a meaning and role that is very urgent in order to improve the standard of living and maintain tolerance in a diverse society. The journey of pesantren as an institution that concentrates on the field of education requires mutual attention. The existence of Pesantren is the mandate of the nation, even before the independence of Indonesia, while its implementation at the moment is the implementation of the joint responsibility in accordance with the mandate in the Preamble of the 1945 Constitution of paragraph IV and Article 31 of the 1945 Constitution. The development in Indonesia is carried out by various institutions education both general education and Islamic education that has a different background. The Pesantren as an Islamic educational institution that is built and developed in Indonesia is one type of Islamic education of Indonesia that is both traditional and modern to deepen the knowledge of Islam, live in society and nation. Historically, the development of pesantren in Indonesia has different backgrounds, styles and roles, as well as the struggle to realize national educational goals framed in Islamic religious education. Thus, in this study will be discussed a brief history of Islamic boarding schools, Islamic education in Indonesia as well as about pesantren as educational institutions that have a characteristic nationality.

This paper examines the problem of fanaticism in Islamic education in Indonesia. As a plural country with its diversity, a high sense of tolerance is needed in Indonesia. This research is a qualitative research with library research. Documentation methods were used in this study to collect data from various literature, such as books, journals, and other electronic sources. The data is analyzed using content analysis method, whereas in the conclusions is drawn using an inductive mindset. The results of the study concluded that the paradigm of Islamic education should be done through multicultural inclusive education and prophetic education. Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in this regard have an important role in instilling a harmonious sense of religion. Inclusive multicultural education is expected to foster a sense of belonging and togetherness, dissociated from primordial barriers by emphasizing plurality-based religious education.

Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kepustakaan, yaitu menjadikan bahan pustaka sebagai sumber (data) utama, sehingga lebih sebagai penelitian dokumen (documentary research). Penelitian ini juga termasuk dalam katergori historis-faktual, karena yang diteliti adalah pemikiran seseorang. Dengan demikian, dalam penilitian kepustakaan ini penulis ingin menganalisis tentang pemikiran pendidikan Islam dan relevansinya dengan dunia pendidikan menurut Harun Nasution di Indonesia dan pengaruhnya. Sebagai sarana untuk memudahkan analisis data, dalam kajian kepustakaan ini digunakan beberapa pendekatan segingga dapat memperjelas kajian dalam penelitian. Dalam tulisan ini pula akan membahas tentang Pemikiran Pendidikan Islam Harun Nasution yang kesemuanya tidak jauh dari permasalahan mengenai pembaharuan Islam di era modern. Dengan mengetahui latar belakang, pemikiran dan solusi yang ditawarkan oleh Harun, akan menambah kekayaan keilmuan keislaman yang semoga dapat dimanfaatkan.This research belongs to the type of library research, which makes library materials the main source (data), so that it is more of a document research (documentary research). This research is also included in the historical-factual category, because what is being researched is a person's thoughts. Thus, in this literature research the author wants to analyze the thought of Islamic education and its relevance to the world of education according to Harun Nasution in Indonesia and its influence. As a means to facilitate data analysis, in this literature review several approaches were used so as to clarify the study in research. This paper will also discuss about Harun Nasution's Islamic Education Thought, all of which are not far from the problem of Islamic renewal in the modern era. By knowing the background, thoughts and solutions offered by Harun, it will add to the wealth of Islamic scholarship which hopefully can be utilized.
