ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research was to predict the contribution of spiritual and emotional intelligence towards the purpose in life of OSF retired nuns. The participants were 39 nuns. This correlation study used purpose in life scale, spiritual intelligence scale, and emotional intelligence scale to collect data. The data was analyzed with partial correlation and linier multiple regression. Spiritual and emotional intelligence was positively related to the purpose in life ( r = 0,406 ; p <0,05).  The contribution of spiritual and emotional intelligence was 16,4%. It means that other variables such as sex, knowledge, motivation, age, family environment, and other environment contributing 83,6%. The researcher concluded that: First, the purpose in life of retired nuns can be predicted by spiritual and emotional intelligence; Second, spiritual intelligence supports the purpose in life of retired nuns; Third, emotional intelligence supports the purpose in life of retired nuns. Keywords: spiritual intelligence, emotional intelligence, purpose in life

<p>Faktual problem yang saat ini sedang dihadapi oleh PNS adalah sorotan negatif akibat kemerosotan mental dan moral yang ditunjukkan dalam melaksanakan tugas pelayanan, mengemukanya praktek KKN (Kolusi, Korupsi dan Nepotisme), menguaknya issue amoral yang telah melibatkan penyelenggara negara, juga terungkap perilaku kekerasan dalam rumah tangga yang dilakukan oleh anggota PNS adalah fakta yang tidak dapat dipungkiri. Mengacu pada temuan faktual problem yang ada maka masalah penelitian yang dirumuskan adalah “Bagaimana meningkatkan sikap etis dan kinerja PNS di lingkungan kantor Setda Provinsi Jawa Tengah?”.</p><p>Dengan menggunakan data yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada responden pegawai Biro Umum di Kantor Setda Provinsi Jawa Tengah, penelitian ini menguji pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan intelektual, dan kecerdasan spiritual terhadap sikap etis dan kinerja. Pengujian pengaruh antar variabel dilakukan dengan menggunakan Uji Regresi Berganda.</p><p>Hasil pengujian regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan intelektual, dan kecerdasan spiritual terbukti berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap sikap etis. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan intelektual, kecerdasan spiritual serta sikap etis terbukti memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai.</p><p> </p><p><em>Factual problems currently being faced by civil servants is negative spotlight due to mental deterioration and moral demonstrated in carrying out the ministry, collusion, corruption and nepotism, to reveal issue amoral that has involved state officials, also revealed violent behavior in the home the stairs were made by members of civil servants is a fact that can not be denied. Referring to the factual findings of the problems formulated the research problem is "How to improve ethical attitudes and performance of civil servants in the Central Java Provincial Secretariat office?".</em></p><p><em>By using the data obtained through a questionnaire distributed to respondents employee in the Office of General Bureau Secretariat of Central Java province, this study examines the effect of emotional intelligence, intellectual, and spiritual intelligence of the ethical attitude and performance. Testing the influence between variables is done by using multiple regression test.</em></p><p><em>The test results of multiple regression showed that emotional intelligence, intellectual, and spiritual intelligence proved significant positive effect on the ethical attitudes. The results also indicate that emotional intelligence, intellectual, spiritual intelligence and ethical attitude shown to have a significant influence on employee performance.</em></p>

Abstract. This study aims to know and analyze the effects of individual factors namely internal locus of control, intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and spiritual intelligence on the ethical behavior of the Gorontalo Provincial Inspectorate auditors. This is a quantitative research. The population in this study was all staff of the Gorontalo Provincial Inspectorate. Samples are auditors having certification of the Auditor's Functional Position (JFA). This study included 44 respondents. Data were collected by questionnaires. Data were analysed by multiple regression and SPSS program. The results of the study showed that an internal locus of control affects increasing auditor ethical behavior. Intellectual intelligence (IQ) increases auditor ethical behavior. Emotional Intelligence (EQ) increases auditor ethical behavior. Spiritual Intelligence (SQ) does not increase the auditor's ethical behavior.Keywords: Internal Locus of Control, Intellectual Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence and Spiritual Intelligence on the Ethical BehaviorAbstrak. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai Inspektorat Provinsi Gorontalo dengan sampel penelitian yakni auditor memiliki sertifikasi Jabatan Fungsional Auditor (JFA) yang berjumlah 44 responden. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan menggunakan analisis data regresi berganda dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Locus of Control Internal berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan perilaku etis auditor. Kecerdasan Intelektual (IQ) berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan perilaku etis auditor. Kecerdasan Emosional (EQ) berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan perilaku etis auditor. Kecerdasan Spiritual (SQ) tidak berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan perilaku etis auditor.Kata kunci : Locus of Control Internal, Kecerdasan Intelektual, Kecerdasan Emosional, Kecerdasan Spiritual, Perilaku Etis

The aims of this study is to determine the influence of Intellectual Intelligence,Emotional Intelligence, and Spiritual Intelligence toward Accounting Understanding ofAccounting Under Graduate Students at STIE Rahmaniyah Sekayu. Theoretical basiswere used in this study are intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, spiritualintelligence, and understanding of accounting. Independent variables in this study wereintellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and spiritual intelligence. While thedependent variable was the understanding of accounting. The population in this studywas all students of S1 Accounting in academic year 2013/2014 with the total numberwas 186 people. The sample in this study was 127 respondents.Technique for collecting the data in this study were done by interview andquestionnaires. This research used multiple regression analysis with data processing toolusing SPSS version 20 program. This research found Intellectual Intelligence, EmotionalIntelligence, and Spiritual Intelligence significantly and positively influence to theUnderstanding of Accounting to the under graduate students of Accounting at STIERahmaniyah Sekayu.

Nowdays, more teenagers have a tendency of experiencing emotional difficulties that needed a way to overcome them, such as by developing the adolescent's emotional intelligence. The development of adolescent's emotional intelligence can be done through music, one of them with the traditional Indonesian gamelan music of Bali. Exercise at Balinese gamelan is played by a group of individuals together with the rules or certain grip. At the time of practicing gamelan, besides having a duty to beat his own gamelan instrument, the individual must also consider the gamelan instruments played by colleagues in the ensemble, so can produce a harmonious sound of gamelan (Donder, 2005). This study aims to determine the relationship between exercise intensity Balinese gamelan music and emotional intelligence.   This study uses quantitative correlation with the number of subjects 135 students of ISI Denpasar. The sampling method used purposive sampling and data collection tool using Exercise Intensity Scale Gamelan Music of Bali (r = 0.848) and Emotional Intelligence Scale (r = 0.772). Methods of data analysis using Product-Moment correlation, which then obtained yield was 0,550. The results showed a positive relationship between exercise intensity of Balinese gamelan music and emotional intelligence are the higher intensity of exercise at Balinese gamelan music, the higher the emotional intelligence will be. Intensity exercise Balinese gamelan music's variable can contribute 30,25% to the variables of emotional intelligence, while 69.75% was influenced by other factors than the variable of intensity exercise Balinese gamelan music. Other factors beyond the intensity exercise Balinese gamelan music's variable by Goleman (1997) is a family environment, environmental non-family, physical, and psychological.   Keywords: Intensity of exercise to music, Balinese gamelan, emotional intelligence

<p class="Bodytext20">The aim of this research is to identify the difference of Intelligent Quotient (IQ), Emotional Intelligence (El), Spiritual Intelligence (SI) among students of UIN Malang. The subjects were 304 students of Islamic State University in Malang, using proportional random sampling technique. The instruments used in this research are IQ test and psychological scale. Psychological scales cover spiritual intelligence scale, emotional intelligence scale, and aggressivity scale. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance with SPSS version 10.0 for windows. The research result show: that there is significant difference among students from all faculties in UIN Malang on IQ. However, there is no significant difference on EI and SI. Students of science and technology faculty got the highest average score on IQ which can be the result of the academic exposure they received. In addition, it can be inferred that the conducive academic atmosphere may affect the difference of student’s academic performance.</p><p class="Bodytext20"> </p><p class="Bodytext20">Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan Intelligent Quotient (IQ), Emotional Intelligence (El), Spiritual Intelligence (SI) diantara siswa UIN Malang. Subjek penelitian adalah 304 siswa Universitas Negeri Islam di Malang, dengan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes IQ dan skala psikologis. Skala psikologis meliputi skala kecerdasan spiritual, skala kecerdasan emosional, dan skala agresivitas. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis varians dengan SPSS versi 10.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa dari semua fakultas di UIN Malang dengan IQ. Namun, tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada EI dan SI. Mahasiswa fakultas sains dan teknologi mendapat nilai rata-rata IQ tertinggi yang bisa menjadi hasil paparan akademis yang mereka dapatkan. Selain itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa atmosfir akademik yang kondusif dapat mempengaruhi perbedaan prestasi akademik siswa.</p>

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi untuk mengetahui hubungan antarvariabel dan penelitian komparasi untuk mengetahui perbedaan tiap variabel berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Prodi Teknik Lingkungan Fakultas Teknik Unlam sebanyak 50 orang dipilih secara purpossive random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala kecerdasan emosional dan kuesioner perilaku pro-lingkungan. Analisa data menggunakan analisis korelasi, analisis kovarian, dan uji t melalui SPSS versi 19.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan perilaku pro-lingkungan, tidak ada perbedaan kecerdasan emosional dan perilaku pro-lingkungan di antara berjenis kelamin berbeda, tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara mean skor kecerdasan emosional laki-laki dengan perempuan dan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara mean skor perilaku pro-lingkungan laki-laki dengan perempuan Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional, Perilaku Pro-Lingkungan, Jenis Kelamin. This study is a correlation study to determine the relationship between variables and comparative study to determine the differences of variables base on gender. The subject in this study is students of Environmental Engineering Program Study, Faculty of Engineering, Unlam with 50 subject that chosen by purpossive random sampling. The method to collecting data are using emotional intelligence scale and pro-environmental behavior questionnaire. Data analysis are using correlation analysis, analysis of covariance, and t test with SPSS version 19.0. Based on the results of the correlation analysis is found the relationship between emotional intelligence with pro-environmental behavior, there is found no difference in emotional intelligence and pro-environmental behavior base on gender and there is found no significant difference between the mean each variables score of male and female.  Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Pro-Environmental Behavior.

Abstract. Aggressivity is one of destructive behaviors and often occurs among adolescents. This study aimed to test the hipothesis there are negative correlations between emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence with aggressive behaviors. Subjects of the study were 120 students of public senior high school Grogol Kediri East Java. Data were collected by scales of the three variables, and further analysed by regression technque and partial correlation. Results showed that the research hypotesis above could be confirmed. Adolescents with higher emosional intelligence and spiritual tended to lower in agressive behaviors.Keywords: emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, aggressive behavior

Abstract. The purpose of the research is to know the correlation between Authoritarian Parenting, student’s Emotional Intelligence with Student’s autonomy. Subjects of the research are 70 person of Elementary School Students grade fifth (5th ) in gugus IV area, Merakurak district, Tuban regency. Data were collected by scales of Authoritarian Parenting, student’s Emotional Intellegence and Student’s self control The partial correlation. The data analysis used multiple regression analysis and than partial correlations. Results of multiple regression analiysis showed that the Authoritarian Parenting and student’s Emotional Intellegence have a significant relation with students’ autonomy. The partial correlation of Authoritarian Parenting and students’ autonomy have a significant correlation to negative side. The partial correlation of Emotional Intellegence and students’ autonomy have a significant correlation to positive side. Authoritarian parenting and student’s emotional intelligence give effective contibution to Student’s autonomy about 55,2 %. Resilience by people affected by natural disasters is very important. Disaster is an extreme thing that can make a person depressed, anxious, stressed, and somatisasi. Individuals who pay attention to belief in God, cognitive and positive affective of the things it faces, will affect its resilience. This study aims to determine the resilience of flood survivors in terms of tawakal and emotional intelligence. The research subjects were flood survivors aged 20-60 , 53 people, obtained by using quotum technique. Data collection used three psychological scales: Resilience Scale, Emotional Intelligence Scale, and Tawakal Scale. The methods for data analysis were multiple linear regression and partial correlation. The results showed significant relationship between tawakal and emotional intelligence together against resilience. The relationship between tawakal and resilience is significant but the relationship between emotional intelligence and resilience is not significant. Further analysis shows emotional intelligence has indirect relationship mediated by tawakal variable.
