This survey was carried out among the MBA students of a various B‐schools in India and data were collected from 141 respondents. The researchers employed T‐Test & one‐way Anova to test all variables using descriptive statistics for better understanding. Many researchers proved that emotional intelligence helps in successful leadership irrespective of domains. Researchers strongly believe students who pursue management degrees will one day become business leaders. Therefore, there is a scope in EI for business students. Many research papers on EI for leaders have been published but only few have been published on EI for business students. The purposes of this study were (a) to develop a measure of emotional intelligence, the Emotional Intelligence Inventory and (b) to find the underlying dimensions of the inventory by testing 111 high school students at a bilingual college preparatory school. The inventory has 45 items. After excluding the four weakest items, the reliability coefficient α was .83. Subsequently, 319 junior and senior high school students at the same school were administered the 41 items. The reliability coefficient was .81. A maximum likelihood factor analysis with a varimax rotation yielded four factors of empathy, utilization of feelings, handling relationships, and self-control. Psychometric properties were sound, and the revised Emotional Intelligence Inventory can be recommended for use in the investigation of emotional intelligence.

Collection data in the form of social support scala consisting of 26item, emotional intelligence of 20 items and teacher resilience 26 item. That measureinstruments have valid and reliabilitas. Data were analyzed using multiple regresionanalysis. The result of multiple regression analysis showed that variables of socialsupport, emotional intelligence have a significant relation with resilience(F=50.893; p=0,000). This suggests that there is a positive and signifikactcorrelation between social support and emotional intelligence with resilience ofteacher. From the result of calculation for each variables to the resilience, it’sknown that emotional intelligence (0,239%) more contributes to resilience thansocial support(0,562%).Keywords : social support, emotional intelligence, resilience

Introduction. Adolescents can present high levels of stress when faced with various biopsychosocial changes, affecting their daily activities and influencing the initiation and development of risk behaviours and/or a mental disorder. Therefore, it is important to identify protective factors against stress, such as emotional intelligence, for adolescents. Objective. Determine the effect of stressful life events (SLE) and perceived emotional intelligence (PEI) on the stress level in adolescent high school students and identify differences by sex. Method. Cross-sectional study, 1 417 adolescents (57% women and 43% men), with an average age of 15.90 (SD = .91), who were evaluated in levels of PEI, SLE, and stress perceived. Results. The results show high rates of stressful events experienced. Attention to emotions increases the perception of stress in both sexes, while clarity and emotional repair have a stress-reducing effect on women. Discussion and conclusions. The results suggest that the PEI is determinant in the emotional self-control and the adaptive capacity of the adolescent to face stressful situations.

Learning process at school is a complex process and comprehensive. Many people said that someone has to have high Intelligence Quotient (IQ) in order to gain high achievement since intelligence is potential asset which is making easier to study and produce optimum high learning achievement. As a matter of fact, in studying and learning process at school, some of the students cannot attain learning achievement equivalent with the Intelligence Quotient. There are some students with high Intelligence Quotient but the learning achievements are low. In the other hand, there are some students with low Intelligence Quotient can attain high learning achievement. Therefore, Intelligence Quotient is not the only factor which is deciding someone’s success. Another factor which influences someone’s success is Emotional Intelligence (EI). Emotional Intellegence is someone’s ability to manage his/her emotional life with intelligence, keep the appropriateness of emotion and its expression through self-consciousness’ skill, self-control, self-motivation, emphatic, and social skill.

Keywords: learning achievement, emotional Intelligence, self-control

The study was carried out to find out whether there were influence and correlation bet-ween : a) Reward received by the IRDABI’s employees on their job satisfaction. b) style of the leader-ship on the job satisfaction. c) Reward together with style of leadership on the job satisfaction of IR-DABI’s employees. The result of the study showed that there was significant correlation and influence between the reward on the job satisfaction with was shown by the value of partial correlation coefficient of 0.6185 and coefficient of multiple regression for reward variable (β1) of 0.412. The influence of variable for style of leadership on the job satisfaction was also significant with the partial correlation coefficient of 0.5495 and coefficient of multiple regression (β2) of 0.355.In the test of Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) on the equation of multiple regression show that F-value was bigger that F-table (F = 58.97 > F-table = 3.098) or the Probability Value smaller than 0.05. At showed that there was significant correlation and influence between reward variables all together with style of leadership on the job satisfaction of employees. The value of multiple correlation coefficient (R) was 0.751 and R Square (R2) was 0.564. Value of R Square (0.564) meant that 56.5% of variation pro-portion total of job satisfaction can be eliminated of equation of multiple regression was used as the es-timator rather than using average value of job satisfaction as the estimator.
