More than a 100-year history of the development of the forensic institutions in Russia demonstrates the objective link between the stages of the system’s evolution and the political, economic, and social transformations in the society. The continuity of scientific schools in the system of forensic expert institutions of the Ministry of Justice is shown on the example of S.A. Smirnova’s activity. Leading the modern system of forensic institutions, she is a talented organizer of innovative scientific research, a major administrator who cares for her team, creates and increases the material and technical base of forensic laboratories, the scientist who has influenced the recognition in the scientific school of the Russian Federal Centre of Forensic Science in the scientific community, as well as a teacher who has brought up more than one generation of expert researchers. The set of achievements of the forensic science institutions team of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation marks the current stage in the development of forensic expertise based on continuity and deep respect for the traditions of the scientific school with a comprehensive modernization of the practical activities of the system.

He observes the “academic biography” of the Centre and the prerequisites for the emergence of its forensic scholarly tradition. The article also clarifies the features of the scientific school, whereby the scientific community of scientists of the Center received the status of a scientific school and the period of its occurrence.

Development of the Hydrology in universities of Ukraine is the formation and development of scientific schools, which promote of the better training of professionals. Purpose of the article - to show the history of hydrological science in higher educational institutions of Ukraine, the formation of scientific schools, their achievements and problems, outline prospects for the development of Hydrology in universities . The article presents the history of hydrological science in higher educational institutions of Ukraine since 1922, when E. Oppokov first time in Ukraine established the Department of  Hydrology at the Kiev Polytechnic Institute, that passed difficult path of transformation and now is presented at the National University of Water Management and Nature (Rivne). It was described the development of hydrology at the Odessa State Environmental University (since 1932), Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University (since 1946), Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (since 1949), Oles Gonchar Dnipro National University (since 2008). The results of the work of scientists hydrologists at these universities, especially Odessa scientific school of theoretical and applied hydrology and Kiev University scientific school of hydrochemistry and hydroecology was considered. Hydrological Sciences at the Universities of Ukraine have a long tradition that has formed during last century. In general, it is today developing in the mainstream global hydrology. Prospects of Hydrological Sciences is closely linked to prospects of the national economy. Ukrainian hydrologists must work more closely with international institutions on joint research projects. The task of universities is not only intensify research, but also in improving the training of specialists hydrologists from the time when hydrology was included in "Earth Sciences".

The article discusses the theoretical foundations of the tax system of the Russian Federation, its main stages of formation are given. The authors define the tax system and describe the structure. The modern system of taxes and fees assigned to each level is described in detail. He rightly notes that the tasks of the Russian tax system change in accordance with the political, economic and social requirements of a particular period.

A review of the basic data on the life and creative paths of the outstanding domestic pediatrician, Academician of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR, M.Ya. Studenkina On his initiative, for the first time in the country, at the Institute of Pediatrics of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR there were created specialized departments and there were formed scientific schools, which were united by the main goal - the creation of effective rehabilitation systems for children with various forms of pathology and the development of new prevention methods to ensure the reduction of morbidity, disability, and child mortality. Thus, as far back as the 60s of the last century, M.Ya. Studenikin contributed to the differentiation of pediatrics into promising clinical disciplines, thanks to which the Institute of Pediatrics became a multidisciplinary clinical institution. The range of academic interests of academician Studenikin is quite wide. He is the author of more than 300 scientific works, including 14 monographs and more than 44 chapters in collective manuals. The personal contribution of academician M.Ya. Studenikina in pediatric science and practice is determined not only by his monographs but also by the established scientific school: 69 doctoral and 82 Ph.D. theses have been defended under his leadership. In 1996, the Council for Grants under the President of the Russian Federation named the Institute of Pediatrics of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences as the country’s leading scientific school, and Academician M.Ya. Studenikin is recognized as the leader of the pediatric scientific school.

В статье проанализирован сложный процесс становления научной шко- лы профессора В.Д. Дзидзоева, в рамках которой работают десятки молодых специ- алистов из разных регионов РФ. Дзидзоев опубликовал более 460 научных и научно- популярных трудов (около 50 из них в соавторстве), в том числе 32 монографии и брошюры. Под руководством Дзидзоева защищены 40 кандидатских и 7 докторских диссертаций. Его последователи защищали кандидатские и докторские диссерта- ции по трем специальностям: 1. Отечественная история – 07.00.02; 2. Политология – 23.00.02 («Политические институты, этнополитическая конфликтология, нацио- нальные и политические процессы и технологии»); 3. Теория и история права и го- сударства. В.Д. Дзидзоев удостоен почетных званий «Заслуженный деятель науки»: Республики Северная Осетия-Алания (2000 г.), Республики Южная Осетия (2001 г.), Кабардино-Балкарской Республики (2012 г.), Республики Дагестан (2017 г.). Является ВАКовским профессором по трем специальностям: отечественная история (1995 г.), политология (2001 г.), теория государства и права (2017 г.). The article analyzes the complex process of the formation of the scientifi c school of Professor V. D. Dzidzoev, which employs dozens of young specialists from different regions of the Russian Federation. Dzidzoev has published more than 460 scientifi c and popular scientifi c works (about 50 of them in co-authorship), including 32 monographs and pamphlets. Under the leadership of Dzidzoev, 40 candidate’s and 7 doctoral theses were defended in three specialties: 1. Russian history – 07.00.02; 2. Political Science – 23.00.02 («Political institutions, ethnopolitical confl ictology, national and political processes and technologies»); 3. Theory and history of law and state. Professor V.D. Dzidzoev was awarded the honorary titles of «Honored Scientist» of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania (2000), the Republic of South Ossetia (2001), the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria (2012), the Republic of Dagestan (2017). He is a professor of the Higher Attestation Commission in three specialties: national history (1995), political science (2001), theory of state and law (2017).

The aim of the study is to examine the results of the activities of scientists representing the theoretical criminal law scientific school of the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation since its establishment in 1923 up to the present time. Particular attention is paid to the scientific activity of M. N. Gernet related to his research in the field of criminology and prison science and the results of the work of his followers. In the conclusion we present the periodization of the history of development of theoretical criminal law scientific school of the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation.

The main stages of life and activity of V.F. Burgsdorf (1864-1935), his scientific achievements and priorities as the founder of one of the largest scientific schools in Russia are described. The representatives of this school made a huge contribution to the development of national dermatovenereology. Special attention was paid to the contribution of V.F. Burgsdorf in the creation of the second Russia svetlichnoe (phototherapy) offices in the STI clinic (Skin and Venereologic clinic) of A.G. Gе in Kazan on the territory of which currently is the Republican dermatovenerologic Dispensary. The work of A.G. Gе (1889-1925) in the STI clinic became one of the most productive periods of life and activities of V.F. Burgsdorf. In November 1900 V.F. Burgsdorf opens svetlichnoe (phototherapy) office with the support of prof. A.G. GE. Due to his medical and public authority, V.F. Borgsdorf received a large donation from the Empress Maria Feodorovna for his further development. V.F. Burgsdorf devoted much of his life to the development of treatment and prevention of skin and venereal diseases, organization of scientific researches and improvement of medical education in Russia. V.F. Burgsdorf greatly improved the system of medical care for patients.

The history of the origin of corruption relationships and corruption phenomena that exist at the moment in the Russian Federation are considered. It is noted that the fight against corruption has been one of the main tasks of the state from the time of Ancient Rome to the present day, and in a number of developed countries the anti-corruption system is functioning quite successfully and an atmosphere of public rejection of this negative phenomenon has been created. The reasons for the occurrence of corruption in the Russian Federation are analyzed, and the need to tighten measures to combat corruption, as well as to legislatively consolidate and introduce administrative and criminal measures to prevent and suppress corruption, is indicated. It was emphasized that a quarter of the citizens of the Russian Federation almost daily encounter obvious signs of corruption, and that at the present stage of the development of the Russian Federation, corruption takes the form of a systemic nature. Several types of corruption are designated: administrative, political, economic, domestic and elite, while it is proposed to distinguish the following types into a separate group: national and international. Analytical data on the distribution of corruption services among various branches of government is provided. The descriptions of the most popular types of corruption fraud aimed at misappropriation of funds are given. The main ways of preventing corruption crimes and ways of its implementation are presented.
