This study is to analyze the management of improving the quality of learning at SMP IT Al Kaffah Binjai, from the aspects of planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analytical study method. Data collection was done through interviews, observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study indicate that efforts to improve the quality of learning at SMP IT Al Kaffah are managed well and effectively. This is viewed from (1) planning, including the formation of a curriculum development team, managing learning activities according to the national education calendar, ensuring teachers create learning programs, planning for student recruitment preparations (new students or transfer students), school orientation and additional programs, and preparation learning planning documents; (2) organizing, including a structured delegation of school organization, starting from the founder delegating it to the foundation, the foundation delegating it to the principal, as well as the principal who is assisted by representatives, teachers and education staff; (3) implementation, including the process of interaction between teachers and students as well as learning facilities; and (4) supervision, including internal supervision (principal) and external supervision (supervisor from the Binjai City Education Office), which oversees the academic and managerial aspects of the school.

The continuity of learning programs during the COVID-19 pandemic found educational institutions, especially Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah (MI) temporarily closed the learning process in schools. To prevent the spread of COVID-19 that is currently engulfing Indonesia. Lack of preparation, readiness and learning strategies have a psychological impact on teachers and students. Declining quality of skills, lack of supporting facilities and infrastructure. Learning from home (online) is an effort by the government program to ensure the continuity of learning in the pandemic period. The research method uses participatory action research (PAR), which focuses on understanding social phenomena that occur in the community and mentoring efforts on the problems faced. The assistance effort is to help the children of MI Sulursewu, Ngawi in participating in online learning related to; 1). Preparation of activities, 2). Counselling participants offline method, 3). Offline activities method. Results of the study show that the mentoring activities following the target of achievement; first, the activity can be carried out following the schedule that has been set. Second, students are always on time for the online learning hours that have been set. Offline methods show that efforts can help ease the burden on parents, but can also make it easier for students to receive subject matter.

In the teaching and learning process, teachers are required to be able to carry out their role to the fullest as a motivator and initiator in an effort to maintain and at the same time increase the enthusiasm of students to learn. Especially in the Covid-19 pandemic situation which requires educational institutions to carry out online learning. This study aims to discuss the teacher's role as a motivator and the teacher's role as an initiator in improving the quality of student learning in online learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'arif Condro Jember. This research uses qualitative research methods and the type of research is a case study. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data using source triangulation and technical triangulation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses data condensation, data presentation and verification/conclusion. The results of this study indicate: 1) The teacher's role as a motivator in improving the quality of learning in online learning, namely: providing opportunities for students to play an active role in learning, providing reinforcement, praise or verbal appreciation, teachers listening to students' concerns and wishes to bond. good relationship between teachers and students. 2) The role of the teacher as an initiator in improving the quality of learning in online learning, namely: utilizing information and communication technology such as Whatsapp, Facebook, Google Meet and Google Form. Keywords: Teacher Role; Quality of Learning; Online Learning Dalam proses belajar mengajar, guru dituntut untuk mampu melaksanakan perannya secara maksimal menjadi motivator dan inisiator dalam upaya menjaga dan sekaligus meningkatkan semangat belajar peserta didik. Terlebih dalam situasi pandemi Covid-19 yang menuntut lembaga pendidikan untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran secara Daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas tentang peran guru sebagai motivator dan peran guru sebagai inisiator dalam meningkatan kualitas belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran daring di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’arif Condro Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan jenis penelitiannya adalah studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan kondensasi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi/kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1) Peran guru sebagai motivator dalam meningkatkan kualitas belajar pada pembelajaran daring yaitu: memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta didik untuk berperan aktif dalam pembelajaran, memberikan penguatan, pujian atau apresiasi secara verbal, guru mendengarkan keresahan dan keinginan peserta didik agar terjalin ikatan yang baik antara guru dan peserta didik. 2) Peran guru sebagai inisiator dalam meningkatkan kualitas belajar pada pembelajaran daring yaitu: memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi seperti Whatsapp, Facebook, Google Meet dan Google Form. There have been many efforts made by the government in improving the quality of education such as issuing Republic of Indonesia Regulation No. 19 of 2005 concerning national education standards. Educational institutions hold scientific activities that can improve the ability or potential of educators so that professional educators can be created who can later improve the quality of learning in schools. This article discusses the factors that can improve the quality of education, elements and strategies in improving the quality of education.

This research aims to describe the process of students’ worksheet development for math subject and find out the quality of students’ worksheet produced for geometry subject which is based on Jambi culture. This research applies research and development (R&D) method to produce a particular product. Development model applied in this research is ADDIE with 5 stages, analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Subjects of this research are two validators which consist of validator of material expert, validator of design expert and students of a junior high school in grade VII. Data collected in this research are qualitative and quantitative data. Instruments used in this research are a questionnaire and a final test. The result of this study shows the development of students’ ability in mathematical representation at high category based on a gain test with 0,7 in high criteria. The result of the analysis from the questionnaire shows > 80% positive. It can be concluded that students’ worksheet for math subject is good and can improve students’ creativity. Therefore, students’ worksheet can be effectively used by both teachers and students in geometry subject. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan LKPD matematika dan mengetahui kualitas LKPD yang dihasilkan pada materi geometri berbasis budaya Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu yaitu mengembangkan LKPD. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian pada pengembangan ini adalah dua orang validator yang terdiri dari validator uji ahli materi, validator uji ahli desain dan media, dan juga sasaran pemakai dari produk ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP. Jenis data yang diambil dalam penelitian ini berupa data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah angket dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian diperoleh  peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa pada kategori tinggi berdasarkan uji gain terlihat skor yang didapat 0,7 berada pada kriteria tinggi. Dan hasil analisis dari angket persepsi siswa didapat persentase > 80% yang dinyatakan sangat positif. Dapat disimpulkan LKPD matematika yang dikembangkan sangat baik dan dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa sehingga LKPD efektif digunakan oleh guru dan siswa SMP khususnya pada materi geometri.

This study aims to develop Mathematics learning media using ethnomathematics based Powtoon applications. This study is using the Borg and Gall development model. Media development is carried out on the material of a flat triangle and quadrilateral of Class VII Junior High School. Data collection instruments used were media expert questionnaires, material experts used to test the quality of mathematics-based Powtoon learning media, and student response questionnaires to test interest in the developed media. Data collection methods used the form of interviews, documentation and questionnaires. This research resulted in ethnomathematics based Powtoon learning media. The results of the assessment by media experts scored 88% in the very feasible category, the assessment of the material experts obtained a score of 87% in the very feasible category, while based on trials in class VII students of Ma'arif 1 Metro SMP which amounted to 22 students obtained a score of 80% with the eligible category. The development of ethnomathematics based Powtoon learning media is feasible and can be used by teachers and students as learning media.

The essence of education is a learning process. There is no quality education without quality learning. Changes in the system of management, both from the point of view of educators and educational personnel, must have clear supervision. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of education in madrasah, the government, in this case the Ministry of National Education, is developing various programs which are expected to improve the quality of learning, especially through supervision activities. This study aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant relationship between the academic supervision of the head of madrasah and the improvement of the quality of learning at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Jamiatul Huda Bekasi district. This research is based on the idea that one of the ways to improve the quality of education is by increasing the quality of learning. In this case the learning process is an important component in determining the quality of education. besides teachers and students who are in the implementation of the learning process. The activities of the principal of madrasah in supervising, guiding, fostering teachers in the learning process use academic supervision. For this reason, the research was conducted to determine whether there was a relationship between the academic supervision of the head of the madrasah and the improvement of the quality of learning at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Jamiatul Huda, Bekasi district. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach, correlational type and uses a simple linear regression method. The population is all teacher councils at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Jamiatul Huda Bekasi Regency and as many as 28 people. Research data using the SPSS 26 for windows program. The results of this study indicate that the academic supervision of the head of madrasah has a positive and significant relationship with the improvement of the quality of learning at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Jamiatul Huda Bekasi district. Based on the results of the research, the following suggestions can be made: (1) Madrasah supervisors and madrasah principals are expected to supervise not only matters of an administrative nature, but prioritizes supervision in the academic field, so as to improve the innovative performance of teachers who In the end, improve the quality of education, (2) maximize classroom observations or class assessments, so that the head of madrasah is aware of teacher teaching developments and teacher constraints and is able to provide solutions in improving the learning process.

Some factors of low interresting of Mathematic learning material for student on Junior High School grade (SMP/MTs) are design of learning material that is less animation and  the difficuties of use the learning material. Therefore, the use of learning material should be inovated for increasing the learners’ interrest, to make them easy understanding the subject that has been learnt, and still capable to increase reigion value in their ownselves. One form of this effort is to create learning material in the form of flash mathematics with consits Islamic value. Flash application is an application that can be developed in accordance animatif developer creativity. The purpose of the research is the developing of learning material in the electric learning form that consists Islamic value in Transformation subject. The method of research is research and development, and the design of the research is using the steps of ADDIE model, there are analysis, design, development, implemetation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques included interviews and observations with research instruments are questionnaires, observation sheets and tests. Further analysis of the data conducted by researchers consists  of qualitative and quantitative analysis to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the teaching materials developed. The results of the expert evaluation consisting of a material expert and a media expert, shows that the average velue obtained from every aspects: content quality and purpose,instructional quality of learning material, aspects of the charge Islamic value, and the technique quality was 4.37 that very good category. The results of the assessment by the teachers of Junior High School grade (MTs) Nurul Huda Munjul which consist of two Mathematics teacher and a teacher of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), shows that the average velue of each aspect was 4.46 with very good category. Than the student quationnaire responses result data obtained by the average velue of each aspects: the quality of learning and instructional, technical aspects of the display, and payload  integrition aspects of Islamic value in learning material, namely 3.98, with good categories. The data test scores of student learning outcomes gained an average of 82.34  > KKM (75) with the classical completeness of 89.19% > 85%. The conclusion showed that the quality of Mathematic learning materials charged Islamic velues are developed with macromedia flash and catamsia aplications is feasible and effective to be used in the learning process.

The big challenge in the world of education during the Covid 19 pandemic is overcoming the difficulties of implementing online learning, and what is equally important is building and increasing student motivation during the Covid 19 pandemic. Having good motivation in learning will show good results so that in expect an increase in the quality of learning as mandated by the National Education System Law Number 20 of 2003 national education which aims to educate the nation's life and improve the quality of learning This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The population in this study were students of Unisla management study program. Data collection techniques used a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The analysis tools used were validity and reliability analysis to determine the reliability of a questionnaire used in the study. In this study also used correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, t test and F test assisted by the IBM SPSS Statistics version 25 software for windows. The results showed that the learning independence variable partially had a positive and significant effect on the learning motivation variable. The lecturer competence variable partially has a positive and significant effect on the learning motivation variable. The variables of independent learning and lecturer competence simultaneously have a significant influence on student learning motivation variables. The percentage of the influence of the independent learning variable and lecturer competence on student learning motivation shows a value of 72.2% and the remaining 27.8% is influenced by variables other than variables X1 and X2.

<em>The function of education is to prepare students through a process that takes place before students are ready to work in real life. The strategy for implementing education is carried out in the form of guidance, teaching and training activities. In line with that  national education must be able to guarantee equal opportunities for education, improvement in quality, and efficiency of education management. Improving the quality of education is directed at improving the quality of Indonesian people as a whole through cognitive, affective aspects, and psychomotor aspects. The purpose of the study was to determine the problems of teachers and students in the problem-based learning model with the use of Liquid Crystal Display Media on the results of Biology Science. The design of this study uses quasi experimental. Based on observations and interviews with Biology Science teachers that students tend to remain silent in class, pay less attention to teachers, play with their peers so that the average cognitive learning value results are 63.50%. Based on the results of interviews with students, information was obtained that the teacher had been giving a woman a monotonous method, namely lecture and lack of interaction with students so that some students felt they did not understand the material.</em>

This study aims to determine the understanding of teachers and students about school-based management in the State Junior High School 8 Palangka Raya. The study involved 56 teachers and 248 students as research samples. The technique of collecting data in this study is by spreading the questionnaire, interviews, and documenting the necessary data. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that teachers and students at State Junior High School 8 Palangka Raya has had an understanding of school-based management which is proven by the answer of the questionnaire. Teacher understanding is in good category with a percentage yield of 71.63% and student understanding is in category enough with a percentage yield of 59.87%. In the future State Junior High School 8 Palangka Raya to make more efforts to improve the quality of teachers and students through workshops, trainings, and education seminars on school-based management, so that teachers and students better understand the understanding and implementation of school-based management, so that it is created a sense of having each other in school to improve the quality of education.
