This study aimed to determine the neutralization relationship with the academic cheating behavior and differences in students perceptions of male and female on neutralization who is do cheating behaviors in academic studies. The sampling method used purposive sampling techniques. The subjects were as 378 who is take the accounting courses with accredited B (Good) in several universities in Batam. The questionnaires were distributed to each universities about 125 questionnaires. Hypothesis testing used a Pearson product moment correlation analysis and t-test Independent test. The results of this study found that, there is a strong positive correlation between neutralization with the academic cheating behavior with a correlation coefficient r = 0,829 with probability p = 0.000 (P <0.05). The results of the study for the t-test Independent test showed that there are differences in perception between male students and female with an average of male students is higher by 63.79% and the female with a percentage of 35.03%. Moreover, the conclusion for further study, it can carry out educational purpose suppress the neutralization process, ethics education should consider the perspective of male and female, and study the factors affecting the dynamics of neutralization and neutralization of both male and female.

This study aims to prove that there is a difference of perception about ethics on tax evasion in UNISMA Bekasi students, based on selected study program and gender. The sample of this research is the students who have fulfilled the subject of taxation, at the Faculty of Economics (FE) and Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP). Using independent t-test, the results showed that there was no significant difference of perception about tax evasion ethics between FE and FISIP students. But significant differences the perception of tax evasion ethics occur between accounting and management students at FE. Significant differences also did not occur between male and female students

The study aims at studying gender differences in the ways male and female students take turns and participate in a mixed-gender classroom. Two groups of first-year English compulsory classes held at two different departments (Geography and Economics) at the University of Karachi took part in the study. The results revealed that in the Geography Department, where there was a female teacher, male students were more dominating as compared to the female students who hardly participated in the class. They took more turns and participated better in the classroom discussion. In addition, they also interrupted the teacher and the female counterparts when they tried to contribute to the discussion. On the other hand, at the Department of Economics, female students had more number of turns. They dominated the classroom as compared to the male students. Besides, the study revealed that the gender of the teacher played an important part in shaping the discourse taking place in the classroom.

Purpose: The objective of this study was to evaluate nursing students’ perceptions of their educational environment in a private college. Perceptions were compared between genders and 2 bachelor’s programs. Methods: A total of 219 students participated in this study, drawn from the Generic Bachelor of Science in Nursing (GBSN) and the Post-Registered Nurse Bachelor of Science in Nursing (PRBSN) programs of the Shifa College of Nursing, Islamabad, Pakistan. The Dundee Ready Education Environment Measure was utilized for data collection. Descriptive statistics were used to calculate total scores, as well as means and standard deviations, and the t-test was applied for comparisons according to program and gender. Results: The overall total mean score (119 of 200) is suggestive of more positive than negative perceptions of the educational environment. The mean score of 13 of 28 on the social self-perception subscale suggests that the social environment was felt to be ‘not a nice place.’ The t-test revealed more positive perceptions among students enrolled in the PRBSN program (P<0.0001) than among those enrolled in the GBSN program and more positive perceptions among female students than among male students (P<0.0001). Conclusion: Commonalities and differences were found in the perceptions of the nursing students. Both positive and negative perceptions were reported; the overall sense of a positive environment was present, but the social component requires immediate attention, along with other unsatisfactory components. Establishing a supportive environment conducive to competence-based learning would play an important role in bringing desirable changes to the educational environment.

The present study tries to find out the effect of speaking self-efficacy and gender in speaking activities particularly in English as second/foreign language situation, using questionnaire from Bandura’s Guide for constructing self-efficacy scales. The Samples of this study were 23 male and 27 female college-students from speaking classes.  ANOVA and T-test helped by SPSS 15.0 for windows were employed to investigate speaking self-efficacy, gender and speaking activities. The result showed that the level of speaking self-efficacy both male and female students is moderate. They can moderately perform speaking activities but they think them quite though and difficult. Besides, Sig. for gender scores lower than .05 (.013 < .05), gender gave significant effect towards speaking activities. Yet, not only speaking self-efficacy partially (Sig .162 > .05) but also its simultaneous interaction with gender (Sig .0677 > .05) did not affect significantly towards speaking activities.

This observational study analysed the lesson content of 24 instrumental lessons (piano, strings and winds) using a gender-balanced sample (equal numbers of male/female teachers and students) from five Australian higher education institutions to ascertain the priorities of topics in advanced applied music lessons in the Western Classical tradition. The results were analysed according to gender to determine differences of approach between male and female teachers and male and female students. Same-gender and different-gender pairings were also considered. Technique was found to be of the greatest importance, followed by Articulation and Expression. Some gender differences have emerged between the teachers, with the male teachers tending towards a more analytical approach and the female teachers adopting more balanced lesson content. The treatment of students showed some divergence, with greater emphasis on Expression in the lessons of female students, whereas the male students studied more Structure. The results demonstrate stereotypical gender behaviour among the teachers and towards their students not previously observed in this educational setting.

Objective: Interpersonal communication is an essential element of communication that creates meaningful social relationships in the academic environment. Students who have good interpersonal communication skills will be capable of interacting with others. However, it was reported that some students still have a low capacity for interpersonal communication caused by various factors, and one of them is gender. This research attempts to investigate the students’ interpersonal communication concerning gender and to find out whether there is a difference between male and female students in terms of interpersonal communication. Methodology: This study was conducted through a descriptive method. The subject of this study includes 88 students consisting of 66 male and 22 female students at one state polytechnic in Bandung, Indonesia. The data were collected in terms of interpersonal communication and gender. Results: The results show that male students had a slightly higher score of interpersonal communication than females. Regarding the significant elements of effective interpersonal communication, it was found that there are differences in the dominant component of interpersonal communication between male and female students. Female students dominated the area of equality, indicating that they have a more dominant ability to position themselves as equivalent to their communication partners to create comfortable communication. Male students dominated the area of openness, empathy, supportiveness, and a positive attitude showing that they have a more dominant ability to show a willingness to communicate honestly and full of understanding, so they were able to give support and positive thought. Implication: The study recommends the use of appropriate communication activities that can encourage the students to be open, to be supportive, and to be positive. This condition will enable teachers to choose and apply the appropriate methods in the teaching and learning process to support the development of students’ interpersonal communication.

This research stems from the writer’s curiosity about the difference of spatial intelligence between male and female students in SMA YPK Medan. The purpose of this research was to describe data of the difference of spatial intelligence between male and female students. This research was a comparative causal research. The sample of this research were 65 students of SMA YPK Medan, which consisted of 32 were female students and 33 were male students. Data to be collected in this research was the data of student’s spatial intelligence which were grouped, i.e. the data of female students spatial intelligence and the data of male students spatial intelligence. The data were collected then analyzed by independent samples t-test in SPSS program. From result of SPSS obtained data Sig 0,02 < 0,05. Based on the result of data analysis could be conluded that there were the difference of spatial intelligence between male and female students in SMA YPK Medan. The average spatial intelligence of male students were 27,06 higher than the average spatial intelligence of female students were 26,76. Then it could be concluded the spatial intelligence of male students better than the spatial intelligence of female students.

<p>Great investment has been made in developing algorithmically-based cases within online homework management systems. This has been done because publishers are convinced that textbook adoption decisions are influenced by the incorporation of these systems within their products. These algorithmic assignments are thought to promote learning while discouraging the practice of shirking student responsibility via the sharing of a common correct answer. Our paper describes the first testing of this method’s effectiveness. The results indicate marked differences of the case’s effects on male and female students. Significant improvements in learning were found for male students but not for female students.<strong> </strong></p>

In the present study an attempt was made to find out whether aggressive behaviour is related to gender and birth order of the adolescence. A Bengali version of the aggression scale of Edwards Personal Preference Schedule (EPPS) was administered to one hundred students from different colleges in Rajshahi city. In order to investigate the relationship between aggressive behaviour and gender, they were divided into two groups, male and female and comparisons were made between them, on the basis of the scores obtained on the aggression scale employing‘t’ test. Secondly, in order to study the relationship between aggressive behaviour and birth order, the respondents were divided into two groups- first born and last born and comparisons were made between the two groups. The results of the study suggest that males are more aggressive than females and the last born children are more aggressive than the first born children. Abstrak: Pengaruh Pendidikan Etika Bisnis dan Religiusitas Terhadap Persepsi Etis Mahasiswa Akuntansi. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat hubungan antara pendidikan etika, gender, religiusitas, dan performa akademik terhadap persepsi etis mahasiswa. Penelitian ini juga ingin membuktikan perbedaan persepsi antara mahasiswa yang sudah atau sedang mengambil mata kuliah etika bisnis dan yang belum, antara mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan, serta mahasiswa dengan IPK ≥ 3,3 dan <3,3. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi berganda dan uji beda independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan etika dan performa akademik tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap persepsi etis mahasiswa, berbeda halnya dengan religiusitas dan gender yang memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan. Hasil uji beda menunjukkan perbedaan persepsi etis antara yang sudah atau sedang mengambil mata kuliah etika bisnis dengan yang belum, sama halnya dengan mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Kata kunci: Pendidikan etika, Religiusitas, Persepsi Etis Abstract: The Influence of Business Ethics Education and Religiosity to Ethical Perception of College Students. The objective of this study is to examine the influence of ethics education, gender, religiosity, and academic performance to the ethical perception of undergraduate. The additional examination was done to know the differences perception between students who have accomplished business ethics course and who have not accomplished business ethics course yet, male and female students, and students who have high GPA and low GPA. The analysis data method uses multiple regression and independent sample t-test. The result indicates that ethics education and academic performance have no significant influence on the ethical perception of college students. On the other hand, religiosity and gender have a significant influence on ethical perception. The result of independent sample t-test indicates that significantly difference between student’s perceptions who have accomplished business ethics course and who have not accomplished yet, likewise between male and female students. Keyword: Ethics Education, Religiosity, Ethical Perception
