Financial management is not only needed in large businesses but starts from households, especially in MSME households. This study aims to determine self-awareness to conduct financial management in the household and the application of financial management in the families of MSME families in Taman Sari Village which is a tourist village, the community is a small trader/entrepreneur. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using in-depth interview techniques and focuses group discussions on 35 respondents from married women of various backgrounds and informal sector jobs, primary data to complement and strengthen the analysis of perceptions, opinions of home managers stairs. This study resulted in the majority of the community having the motivation and awareness to get a better economic life but not followed by planning and implementation in conducting good financial management in the household, around 22.9% of respondents who had made plans for future financial goals and has recorded all income, made financial decisions without thinking so much that many have loans, about 25.7% of respondents discuss financial problems with their husbands. The contribution of this research is an input for policymakers and further research to conduct more in-depth research related to financial management in MSME households.

This study aims to determine the system for the results of Mudharabah on Business Multipurpose Cooperative (KSU) Amanah Desa Bunobogu with Qualitative Descriptive Analysis method. This study uses primary data sources and secondary data relating to the annual revenue sharing system Mudharabah (2010-2014). The results of this study indicate that the profit sharing system is implemented by the Multipurpose Business Cooperative (KSU) Amanah Desa Bunobogu in the form of Mudharabah financing. With a guarantee statement on the process akadnya. In the event of negligence made by members who resulted in his business losing the goods made in the guarantee will be seized by the cooperative. Businesses that are established by members are mostly small and medium enterprises so often encountered bookkeeping that is not clear and just make a budget booklet at random. However, it does not become alaasan and hamper the growth of cooperatives which each year has increased the remaining results of operations. Unclear budget bookkeeping can result in member earnings manipulation, by lowering the profits earned and the effect on the revenue share installments

Small medium enterprises is one of the perpetrators of the economic potential in Indonesia, both in terms of number and its contribution to the national economy. This event will be based on research by the large number of potential young entrepreneurs for small medium enterprises that develop among the students of business management Course Shari'a. However, the potential of encountering problems one is difficult because of the limited structure and capability still managing their finances. The purpose of this research is to know the financial competency mapping and owned by small medium enterprises run by young entrepreneur. Further based on the database used to compile the proper accounting training design. Primary data obtained from in-depth interviews, questionnaires and observation directly. Financial competence that is owned by young entrepreneurs for small medium enterprises can be seen from the source variable capitalization, turnover, business profits and the ability of the application of accounting in the form of presentation of the financial statements. The results showed that most small medium enterprises have difficulty in the sector as well as a good amount of capitalization capital structure. small medium enterprises operational views of the turnover and operating income showed a fairly progressive conditions for businessmen beginners. While the ability of drawing up financial statements still minimal, more that just make a simple cash flow report

<p>Financing a good management is one key to the success of an educational institution to promote or increase quality. In this study, the focus of the problem is how the management of financing available to the private universities in Surabaya medium in order to improve its quality. The method used is qualitative descriptive with the presence of the researcher as an instrument of research conducted interviews to informants as a source of primary data and documents as well as supporting books as a secondary data source. Management Funding education is one of the factors that determine the quality improvement due to the financial management that is transparent and accountable will give rise to the belief of stakehoulder and it will be the motivation of each academicians Tri Dharma College in Private colleges medium in Surabaya to conduct quality improvement in their respective fields.</p>

This research tittle ‘work in progress on the creation of the three-stringed kulcapi’ wanted to examine how the work process of the creation of the kulcapi music instrument and can be explained descriptively. The kulcapi musical instrument which is considered to still have limitations in terms of producing its notes, and only having 2 strings, seems to be the cause of the less than optimal function in exploring the notes. In addition, the form of the kulcapi instrument is seen to be still very plain and very simple, this is felt to be one of the issues that must be overcome to be able to explore the kulcapi musical instrument to be more functional, both in producing tones and adding aesthetic value to the form of the kulcapi music instrument. In this research, a qualitative descriptive method is used. The process of tracing data and information is done diachronically to find out in full and complete about the kulcapi music instrument. The data collected comes from two sources, they are primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained through in-depth interviews and participant observation that aims to collect data followed by focus group discussions. This research produces findings including: a) The creation of three-stringed kulcapi instruments has a wider range of tone areas. b) can be functioned more flexible and can be explored in playing pentatonic and diatonic tones. c) The shape has the characteristic of the Karo people with the presence of ethnic Karo ornaments on the kulcapi’s body.

Budget and budget absorption are very important in the sustainability of a budgeting system at state universities. Budget absorption is used as an indicator of performance measurement in a university. The opinion of budget managers is an important factor in efforts to optimize the budget. Therefore, research on the perception of budget managers on the determinants of budget acceptance in state university is very important, especially for new state universities (Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Baru/PTNB), including University of Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVYK). The purpose of this study is to analyze the variables that affect budget absorption at UPNVYK. The variables are budgeting plan, budgeting management, human resource, procurement of goods dan services (Pengadaan Barang dan Jasa, PBJ), bureaucratic environment, monitoring and evaluation systems, and organizational commitment. This research is expected to formulate recommendations about budget policymaking and its implementation in UPNVYK management in particular and new state universities in general. It is hoped the research will become one of the policy making materials for UPNVYK management on budget implementation from the perception aspect and point of view of managers of the procurement of goods/services.The population of this research is financial management employees in all work units at UPNVYK which consists of 15 work units. The sample of the population is people who have certain positions related to the budget and management of the procurement of goods/services. The method in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. This research data is primary data and secondary data. Secondary data comes from work units and rector regulations at UPNVYK. Primary data using a closed or open questionnaire on the perception of financial management employees at UPNVYK. The result of this research is that the most important issue of budget absorption at UPNVYK is the existence of organizational commitment and commitment from all employees in each unit on various issues related to budget absorption at University of Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta.

Financial Decisions involve making choices between various investment alternatives, with the aim of increasing the individual's net worth. The investor today is exposed to various investment options, but does not have the knowledge and capability of evaluating all the options and making a rational decision. Due to the limitation in the information processing capacities of the individuals, their beliefs and preferences, the investment decision-making process, gets biased. This chapter highlights ten such biases and throws light on how they impact investment behaviour, both positively and negatively. This understanding of investor psychology will generate insights that will benefit the financial advisory relationship. Further for Individuals, recognizing how the biases impact their financial decisions, can help create self-awareness and an understanding that would help them in better financial management, in case these tendencies are leading them to make unsatisfactory investments.

The importance of Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) towards economic development and growth is considerable. Some SMEs are facing difficulties to their development due to the lack of financial resources and management experience. The objective of this study is to check the relationships of financial management practices on profitability of small and medium enterprises and also to check the impact of agency cost on this relationship. This study consists of data analysis of two hundred SMEs from Faisalabad Pakistan. The study used primary data predominantly. SPSS 23 is used for descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Model (SEM) through Partial Least Square (PLS) 3 for hypothesis testing. The findings of this study indicate the presence of positive relationship between financial management practices and SMEs profitability but agency cost as a moderator has no effect on this relationship. The study strongly recommends higher adherence to financial management practices. Policy makers, developments partners, owners, and managers of SMEs may use these findings for sustainability of their business in Pakistan.

Financial management is a problem that is quite difficult for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia. The lack of awareness and knowledge of SMEs owner regarding the accounting process considered as the root causes of their financial management difficulties. Based on that, researcher aims to help one of SMEs in Surabaya which is Omah Duren Surabaya, in order to know about the process of recording and reporting a SME, then find a way to improve it in a diligent way. Researcher uses interviews, observations and documents sheets to analyze and know-how Omah Duren business process. The information that gained from Omah Duren owner and transaction data, as well as direct observation in recording and reporting activities is one of researcher data sources. Researcher concluded that Omah Duren SME’s still not performing the simple accounting process in accordance with generally accepted. Therefore, researcher provide a recommendations in helping them in recording and reporting their financial effectively and efficiently. This research will also discuss the role of recording and reporting that is generally accepted for SMEs.

The article presents the findings from the study on the training facilities in Micro-Small-Medium Enterprises (MSME) for Self-Help Groups (SHG) in the Union Territory of Puducherry region. The research variables were adopted in accordance to the legal provisions of SHG. Primary data of 127 random sample of MSMEs was collected through a survey method using structured questionnaire. Results show that 63% of the MSME has not undertaken any training for their suppliers, while a good proportion of the companies consisting of 15.7% have provided between 1-2 trainings. The study argues that the policy maker should identify large number of economically development-oriented skills and include them in training programmes to encourage increased development of microenterprises.

Money waqaf in Indonesia has a huge potential. Despite the fact, this huge potential has not been organized and utilized optimally by the waqaf management agency. Another problem faced in waqaf money is the difficulties in integrate the system of funding, financing, mauquf alaih, and distribute the beneficiaries. In the present era, waqaf in Indonesia has not been digitalized and has not used the Financial Technology (FinTech) system, so it is less economically and inefficient. The expected benefits of the research are waqaf can be a solution to the capital problems that have been faced by start-up companies which mostly un-bankable. In other side, it hopefully can encourage Nadzir to be involved in growing and developing entrepreneurship for youth starting with establishing a start-up company. This research approach is qualitative descriptive. The data is primary data with data collection techniques namely focus group discussions and interviews. The objects of the research are 30 youth start-ups in Surabaya. The result of study is that money waqf can be an alternative solution of capital problems for youth start-up companies who are un-bankable. The Sharia Financial Technology (SFT) system is a system that capable of integrating nadzir with Islamic Financial Institutions Accep Cash Waqf (IFIACW), funding, financing, mauquf alaih, start-up investors, Islamic Financing Guarantee Institution (IFGI) and Islamic Banks.
