<p>Entrepreneurship is very important to instill independence in the younger generation. There are a number of things that have an important influence on a child's soul, including family, school and the environment. The role of the family, especially mothers as early educators who put the most important foundation for the growth of the personality and maturity of children's thinking. There are several research focuses that exist in, among others, (1) to know parents in instilling entrepreneurial education values in the central tempe chips industry in Sanan, Malang. (2) to knowing the form or result of the cultivation of entrepreneurial education values in the central tempe chips industry in Sanan, Malang (3) to knowing the obstacles in cultivating entrepreneurial education values in the Tempe chips industry center in Sanan, Malang. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of research of community phenomena because researchers take data directly in the field. The technique of collecting data uses observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, and data presentation. The conclusion of this study is the role of parents in instilling entrepreneurial values is to guide and support the activities of their children in the field of entrepreneurship. The results have been well implemented through habituation. The obstacle in implementing entrepreneurship for children is the lack of parental trust so that it is difficult to teach entrepreneurship, it is difficult to determine which products are sold because they are too expensive, and the difficulty of the child to divide time.</p><p class="CPKeyword"><em><strong>Keywords: the role of parents; entrepreneurship</strong></em></p>

The object of this research is the role of the comedy &ldquo;Tieteybit&rdquo; by N. D. Neustroev in cultural life of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia). The subject is the impact of modern creative industries upon cultural life of the region. On the example of Nikolay Denisovich Neustroev's comedy play &ldquo;Tieteybit&rdquo;, the authors examine the use of creative approaches towards preservation and popularization of cultural heritage of the Sakha people. It is noted that over the recent years, a major event in the development of spiritual culture and cultural life of the region overall has become the innovations introduced by the contemporaries in staging the Yakut comedies. Motifs of the comedy &ldquo;Tieteybit&rdquo; served as the prototype for staging the the first Yakut musical comedy, and even a film. A survey was conducted touching upon the following questions: are the innovations introduced in culture in form of a screen version of classical literature with the elements of innovation encourage the young generation to studying the Yakut cultural heritage?; what is the relevance of the work by N. D. Neustroev &ldquo;Tieteybit&rdquo;? The conclusions is made that in the XXI century, N. D. Neustroev's comedy &ldquo;Tieteybit&rdquo; has become one of the basics for the development of creative industry of the region. As an instrument for the development of regional culture, creative industry may play the strongest and highly effective role in the development of social life of the region.

The growth of the creative community cannot be quantitatively and qualitatively separated from the growing development of Creative Industry 4.0. Various creative communities produce a variety of creative products that are ready to be sold. Unfortunately, the focus of the community is often only on the product and not on the packaging design. Meanwhile, a product’s packaging not only serves to protect the product but also to promote it and encourage purchase. The purpose of this research is to educate and help the community obtain packaging designs that are not only unique but also suitable for their products. By involving Packaging Design course students of the Visual Communication Design department, we attempted to assist a jewellery and accessories-making community as our research object. Students first attempted to deepen their clients' insights by conducting observations and in-depth interviews. In designing the packaging, they consulted with their tutors intensively. The packaging design that the students produced undergoes a selection process, which resulted in four packaging designs that were deemed fit for use. Two of the selected designs were registered to obtain IPRs in the Industrial Design category. Through this research, it is hoped that the packaging design produced by these students can be used to support the sale of community products. In addition to that, they can also be used to inspire other communities to acknowledge the role of packaging design as a means that can help the sustainability of their business.

AbstractAlthough the contribution of creative industries to world economy has been widely acknowledged in the last few decades, their failure rate is still high and frustrates creative entrepreneurs. However, few empirical studies have been done to explore what causes creative entrepreneurs’ intention to quit. This paper, therefore, aims to draw upon the theories of motivation and entrepreneurship to offer a better understanding of entrepreneurs’ withdrawal intention. We incorporate the theory of motivation, creativity, and opportunity to realize their inter-play roles in reducing entrepreneurs’ intention to quit in creative industry sector. A sample of 272 creative entrepreneurs in Taiwan’s creative industries is used to test the framework we propose. Results show that entrepreneurial creativity and opportunity recognition enhance entrepreneurs’ motivation by satisfying the need for basic finance, need for work–life equilibrium, need for social reputation, and need for career achievement. Moreover, we found that entrepreneurs’ motivation in need for work–life equilibrium and need for career achievement reduces their intention to quit.

This paper examines the position of crafts within the creative industries and considers how this has been affected by the growing links between the creative industries and tourism. A review of the creative industries concept indicates that crafts occupy an ambiguous position between art and tradition, which problematises their relationship with the creative industries. This is gradually changing at the creative and tourism sectors become more closely linked, and craft has become an important element of the development of creative tourism experiences. We review the role of craft in creative tourism, including case studies from Brazil, Finland, and Thailand, to examine how tourism can support the creative development of crafts. This analysis indicates that craft can be an important aspect of creative tourism development in different contexts and can provide a strong basis for placemaking initiatives.

This research was conducted at the Cibaduyut XYZ shoe industry center, a company engaged in the SME sector of the leather shoes and sandals. Based on preliminary survey,  company XYZ is an industry of making shoes and leather sandals with active work competence and includes a creative industry that promoted by the government.The purpose of this study is to increase work motivation on work productivity, knowledge management on work productivity and simultaneous work motivation and knowledge management on work productivity. Used Verivication methodThe results showed that work motivation was positive and significant to work productivity by 14.9%, while management knowledge affected positively and significantly to work productivity by 5.3%. While work motivation and knowledge management are positive and significant at 16.81%.Based on results,  entrepreneurs need to provide stimulus to improve productivity with rewards and penalties, such as giving bonuses to companies that reach their targets and other rewards. to continue improving the sustainability of entrepreneurs it is necessary to increase the sustainability of knowledge and experience especially models of shoes and sandals. The next researcher needs to report other variables such as human capital, ROTI (return on investment in training) and other relevant themes

Natural stone has been used for millennia in many historically and culturally important structures. It inevitably undergoes weathering from natural processes and damage from human activities. Deterioration affects both ornamental features and main structural members of constructions, ultimately requiring repair and maintenance, or causing loss of the structure altogether. Stone similar to the original should generally be used for repairs, but if that is impossible a closely similar material is required. Use of inappropriate stone or treatment with incompatible mortars can be aesthetically unsightly or have structurally and financially damaging consequences. Such use typically arises because of a lack of information and awareness among commissioners and specifiers of works, along with budget constraints leading to selection of cheaper alternatives. Even some World Heritage Sites have suffered. Selected examples from Western Europe illustrate these problems. The Global Heritage Stone initiative has been launched to improve recognition of the internationally most important heritage stones, promote their proper use in construction, maintenance and repair, and to stress the need to safeguard important stone resources for future use.RÉSUMÉLa pierre naturelle a été utilisée depuis des millénaires dans de nombreuses structures importantes historiquement et culturellement. Inévitablement cette pierre s’altère sous l’effet de processus naturels et de dommages causés par les activités humaines. Cette détérioration affecte aussi bien les éléments ornementaux que les principaux éléments structuraux des constructions, ce qui, éventuellement nécessite réparation et entretien, ou alors peut entraîner la perte de la structure. Une pierre semblable à l'originale doit généralement être utilisée pour des réparations, ou alors un matériau très similaire est requis. L’utilisation d’une pierre inappropriée ou un traitement avec des mortiers incompatibles peut être esthétiquement disgracieux ou avoir des conséquences structurellement et financièrement préjudiciables. Cette utilisation erronée est typiquement le résultat d’un manque d'information et de sensibilisation des commissaires et des rédacteurs du cahier des charges, ainsi que de contraintes budgétaires conduisant au choix d’options moins coûteuses. Et même, certains sites du patrimoine mondial en ont souffert. Des exemples choisis de l'Europe de l’ouest illustrent ces problèmes. This research aimed to explore the adaptive reuse pattern of the industrial heritage in the 798 Art District. It looks at how the relatively mature Cultural-creative industry links to urban regeneration activities, and what can be learnt from the redevelopment experience. In particular, it explores the role of the Cultural-creative industry and how it used the local industrial heritage to achieve the current layout and operation model of 798 art district. The adaptive reuse model of industrial heritage and the cultural–creative industry is assessed, the current issues and some targeted suggestions of 798 Art District are identified. During the historical evolution, the combination of the deserted urban land and the Cultural-creative industry worked as a successful redevelopment model. Although several studies have summarized of the development history of 798 Art District and its significant role in urban land and art markets, there has been little research on the role of creative class and industrial heritage in art districts and local tourism. This research will first provide literature review looking at the definition and development process of the Cultural-creative industry, the conservation and reuse of industrial heritage and the real-life cases of the reuse of industrial heritage in China. Then, the in-depth quantitative and qualitative methods are used to examine the development trajectory and characteristics of Beijing 798 Art District, the visitors’ tourist experience and the role of industrial heritage at the site. Ultimately, the discussion part will provide the comparison between 798 Art Districts with contemporaneous cases of industrial heritage reusing, and provide some recommendations to future development and operation.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to analyze the potential of creative tourism products that can be used as a characteristic of Sambirejo Village. Jumputan Batik is one of the creative tourism products as a solution in the globalization era, which is derived from the creativity of Sambirejo villagers to meet the needs of tourists and increase tourist visits. The research is located in Rumah Batik Pak Jay Gedang Bawah Sub-Village. The data collection method was carried out by observation directly to the field and in-depth interviews with one of the Jumputan Batik craftsmen Pak Jay or Pak Mujimin who also served as Secretary of Sambirejo Village and other informants based on certain criteria in accordance with the focus of the research. The data analysis in this research is using descriptive analyses. The results showed that Jumputan Batik handicrafts can be developed into tourism creative products or souvenirs that can be marketed to tourists. Not only useful in terms of the economy for the local community, but tourists can also get a new experience by participating in the making of Jumputan Batik. Stakeholders also participated in mentoring tourism creative product potential development activities in Sambirejo Village. The potential of creative tourism products in Sambirejo Village is not only Jumputan Batik, but vegetable chips and souvenirs from natural stone waste can also be developed to the maximum. Keywords : Jumputan Batik, Tourism Product, Creative Industry, Creative Tourism
