ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe the tourism potential and formulate the development of the Matalafang Traditional Village as a cultural tourism destination in Alor Regency. Matalafang Traditional Village is one of the tourist destinations, where the Abui tribes live. The Abui tribe, as one of the largest tribes who inhabit Nusa Kenari Island, has various cultural potentials tourism to be developed. This is in line with the increasing number of tourists visiting. Through qualitative descriptive methods, extracting information is obtained by field observations, structured interviews with 6 key informants, documentation of traditional villages, and literature studies on Matalafang Traditional Village and Alor Regency Tourism. The results showed that the attractiveness of cultural tourism in the Matalafang Traditional Village in the form of the Balai Hatel Traditional Ceremony as a ritual to enter the garden, the Caka Lele dance, the unifying dance of the Alor community Lego-Lego, weaving Ikat for dancing, the fourth level traditional house, and various woven bamboo crafts for putting sirih pinang traditional snacks on it. The strategy formulation is an effort to develop the Matalafang Traditional Village as a cultural tourism destination, such as increasing the awareness of culture-based tourism for the local community, maintaining the authenticity of dance as a tourist attraction, increasing tourist activities after the ritual of opening the garden as alternative tourism, and maintaining the condition of the traditional village that is still original.Keywords: Destinations, Traditional Villages, Matalafang, Cultural Tourism, Development Strategies

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to analyze the potential of creative tourism products that can be used as a characteristic of Sambirejo Village. Jumputan Batik is one of the creative tourism products as a solution in the globalization era, which is derived from the creativity of Sambirejo villagers to meet the needs of tourists and increase tourist visits. The research is located in Rumah Batik Pak Jay Gedang Bawah Sub-Village. The data collection method was carried out by observation directly to the field and in-depth interviews with one of the Jumputan Batik craftsmen Pak Jay or Pak Mujimin who also served as Secretary of Sambirejo Village and other informants based on certain criteria in accordance with the focus of the research. The data analysis in this research is using descriptive analyses. The results showed that Jumputan Batik handicrafts can be developed into tourism creative products or souvenirs that can be marketed to tourists. Not only useful in terms of the economy for the local community, but tourists can also get a new experience by participating in the making of Jumputan Batik. Stakeholders also participated in mentoring tourism creative product potential development activities in Sambirejo Village. The potential of creative tourism products in Sambirejo Village is not only Jumputan Batik, but vegetable chips and souvenirs from natural stone waste can also be developed to the maximum. Keywords : Jumputan Batik, Tourism Product, Creative Industry, Creative Tourism

ABSTRACTThis study aims to see the effect of perceptions received by tourists visiting intention to Toba Lake, Samosir Regency. A quantitative approach method was used by using statistical data in multiple regression analysis. The population was domestic tourists and the sample was 325 respondents who were obtained using random sampling techniques. The results were divided into (1) a significant effect and positive destination accessibility and simultaneously on the intention in tourist visits 2) the ability of the independent variables in explaining the related variables was 53.8% the remaining 46.2% from other variables not discussed in this study 3) the influence of accessibility variable on tourists' visiting intention is strong. From these results it can be concluded that accessibility according to the Apollo concept needs to be improved by the manager of tourist destinations at Toba Lake because the role of accessibility affects the intention to visit tourists to Toba Lake. Keywords: Real Accessibility, Destination Accessibility, and Visiting Intention

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine how Waaida Farm manages agro-tourism and to measure the impact of agro-tourism from the empowerment of the surrounding farmer's community. The Farm is located in Sumedang Regency and has natural potentials in agriculture and tourism which offers a unique experience. The concept of agro-tourism offers a medium for education, culture, promotion of local products, social, economic growth and community empowerment. With the existence of the Farm, the characteristics of the community have changed positively. The research method used is the case study and primary data were obtained from 30 farmers who work at agro-tourism. From the results of the paired t-student difference test ( Paired Sample T Test ) it can be concluded  that Agro-tourism has a positive impact on the empowerment of the surrounding community not only from increasing participation, but also independence and accessibility for farmers community.Keywords: Agro-tourism, Community Empowerment

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to assess the readiness of the two villages proposed by the Regional Government of West Manggarai Regency (Wae Sano and Wae Lolos Villages) as a tourism village using an instrument compiled through focus group discussions with stakeholders in the field of tourism village development. Therefore, the local government intend to promoting cultural attraction as an effort to reduce negative impacts at Labuan Bajo and at the same time equalize the positive impacts of tourism. The approach of quantitative descriptive method was used on data obtained through focus group discussions and observations to test the readiness of a village to become a tourist village. The data analysis technique uses the interval interpretation technique, in which there are three interval categories. The results of this study indicate that there are six variables assessed in the tourism village assessment instrument, namely 1) attractions (nature and culture), 2) accessibility, 3) amenities (public facilities and tourism support), 4) institutions and society, 5) strategy. marketing, and 6) industry. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Wae Sano villages and Wae Lolos villages can be included in the category "can be recommended to become a tourist village with a note". ABSTRAKPandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia memberikan dampak langsung terhadap industri pariwisata, khususnya industri perhotelan yang terpaksa tutup di Sumatera Barat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi pelayanan penerapan protokol kesehatan oleh staf Housekeeping dan Front Office dalam mengurangi risiko terpaparnya karyawan oleh tamu. Berdasarkan data PHRI Sumatera Barat sudah 50% hotel tutup, 30% melakukan kegiatan (50% dengan cara merumahkan karyawan dengan sistem unpaid dan 50% digaji), 20% lagi masih beroperasi dengan melakukan kegiatan katering dan menjual makanan siap saji, dan ada juga dengan cara menyewakan kamar untuk isolasi mandiri. Pandemi ini merupakan masalah yang serius, maka dari itu hotel wajib memiliki sumber daya manusia yang memiliki pemahaman baik mengenai ilmu Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) khususnya dalam Standar Operasional Prosedur penanganan tamu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskripsi kepada seluruh karyawan hotel Whiz Prime Padang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh dengan alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner untuk mengidentifikasi risiko. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pelayanan penerapan protokol kesehatan oleh staf Housekeeping dan Front Office sudah baik namun masih ada yang perlu diperbaiki, dan luaran penelitian ini berupa pengembangan Standar Operasional Prosedur. Kata Kunci :  Covid-19, Hotel Whiz Prime Padang, Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja, Manajemen Risiko OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY RISK MANAGEMENT AT WHIZ PRIME HOTEL IN PARTICIPATION TO PREVENT COVID-19 ABSTRACTCovid-19 in Indonesia gives a direct impact on the Indonesian tourism industry, particularly the hotel industry, which was forced to close in West Sumatra. The purpose of this study was to identify the implementation of health protocol services by housekeeping and front office staff in reducing the risk of employee exposure to guests. Based on West Sumatra PHRI data, 50% hotels have closed, 30% are carrying out activities (50% by laying off employees with an unpaid system and 50% are paid), 20% are still operating by catering and selling ready-to-eat food, and how to rent out a room for self-isolation. This pandemic is a serious problem, therefore the hotel needs to have human resources who have a good understanding of Occupational Safety and Health (K3), especially in the Standard Operating Procedure for guest handling to avoid local transmissions. In this study, the method used is descriptive analysis to all employees of the Whiz Prime Padang hotel. The data collection technique uses a saturated sample technique with a data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire to identify risks. The results showed that the service activities of implementing health protocols by the Housekeeping and Front Office staff were good, but there were still things that needed to be improved, and the outcome of this study was the development of standard operating procedures.Keywords:  Covid-19, Hotels, K3, Risk Management

ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui teritori personal yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan aktivitas pada area makan. Area makan, merupakan hal paling utama pada suatu restoran yang menentukan pengalaman ruang bagi penggunanya, untuk itu kenyamanan ketika aktivitas di meja makan perlu diperhatikan. Setiap restoran menerapkan sistem makan yang berbeda, salah satunya adalah sistem makan berbagi, yaitu beberapa menu hidangan yang dinikmati lebih dari satu orang. Sistem ini tentunya mempengaruhi dimensi meja makan yang digunakan dan teritori personal area makan seorang pengunjung dalam aktivitas makan-minumnya. Analisis data diolah secara deskriptif dengan data kualitatif yang diperoleh dari observasi langsung pada restoran yang memiliki sistem makan berbagi yaitu restoran Al-Jazeerah dan Miss Bee Providore yang berlokasi di kota Bandung. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kebutuhan teritori personal pada suatu restoran dapat berbeda sesuai bentuk dan ukuran peralatan makan dari menu hidangan yang disediakan.Kata Kunci: Meja Makan, Restoran, Teritori PersonalTHE EFFECT OF FURNITURE DIMENSION FOR PERSONAL TERRITORY TABLE SETTING WITH SHARING SYSTEM IN THE RESTAURANT ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to find out personal territory that suitable for the activity in the dining area. Restaurant is one of the sector in the hospitality industry, an intresting destination for the general public and tourists to enjoy many various of culinary both food and drinks. Dining area, is the most important thing in the restaurant that determines the experience of space for the users, so customer comfortable when doing activities at the dining table need to be considered. Every restaurant uses a different dining system, one of them is food sharing system, which is a dish that are eaten by more than one person. This system affects the dimensions of the dining table and the territories of customer private areas in their eating and drinking activities. Data analysis was processed descriptively with qualitative data obtained from direct observation on restaurants that have shared dining systems, that is Al-Jazeerah and Miss Bee Providore restaurants located in Bandung. Results of this study indicate that the needs of personal territory in a restaurant can be different according to the shape and size of cutlery from the menu of dishes.  Keywords: Dining Table, Personal Teritory, Restaurant

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perkembangan penelitian mengenai virtual tourism serta bagaimana virtual tourism diteliti selama 10 tahun terakhir yang dipublikasi oleh scopus. Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana bentuk pelaksanaan virtual tourism yang dapat dilakukan oleh pelaku usaha pariwisata di masa pandemi covid-19. Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang terdampak virus covid-19 melaksanakan pembatasan sosial berskala besar untuk mencegah semakin bertambahnya kasus positif di Indonesia, akibatnya berbagai sektor industri terkena dampaknya salah satunya pariwisata. Menurunnya kunjungan wisatawan, pemutusan hubungan kerja, hingga pelaku usaha pariwisata yang gulung tikar terjadi akibat meluasnya virus covid-19 serta menurunnya kunjungan wisatawan ke objek dan daya tarik wisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis bibliometric dengan alat analisis menggunakan aplikasi vosviewer 1.6.16.Kata Kunci : virtual tourism, destinasi, Covid-19VIRTUAL TOURISM AS AN ALTERNATIVE IN PANDEMIC COVID-19                                                                     ABSTRACTThe Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in almost all countries led to changes in people's behavior which required them to stay at home because there was an increase in confirmed positive cases so that some countries implemented lockdown policies. Indonesia is one of the countries affected by the Covid-19 virus implementing large-scale social restrictions to prevent the increasing number of positive cases in Indonesia, as a result of which various industrial sectors are affected, one of which is tourism. The decline in tourist visits, layoffs of employment, business actors who went bankrupt occurred due to the spread of the Covid-19 virus, and the decline in tourist visits to tourist objects and attractions. This study uses bibliometric analysis with analysis tools using the Vosviewer 1.6 application. This research discusses how the form of virtual tourism implementation that can be carried out by tourism businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as how virtual tourism has been researched over the last 10 years published by Scopus. Keywords: Virtual tourism, Destination, Covid-19

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine and analyze the influence of variables from e-WOM and promotion on decisions to stay at hotels throughout Malang. The population used is customers or consumers who have stayed at the hotel and who have the potential to stay at the hotel. This research uses quantitative research with a survey method through a questionnaire. The number of samples in this study was 100 respondents. This sample was taken in the period of December 2020. The analysis technique of this research used multiple linear regression. The test results of this study indicate that each of the e-WOM and Promotion variables has a positive and significant effect on the Decision to Stay at Hotels in Malang Raya. This test shows that the e-WOM variable has a dominant influence on the decision to stay overnight with the results of the beta statistical value in the t-test that is greater than the promotion variable. This condition shows that the better the e-WOM that is disseminated and an innovative promotional strategy will increase consumer decisions to stay at hotels throughout Malang. This study is different from other studies because in this study, we put the object of the research into all hotels in Malang, with a survey that was distributed to hotel customers who had stayed in several different hotels. Keywords: e-WOM, promotion, decision to stay overnight

Dalam penelitian ini penulis menganalisis tingkat kepuasan pengunjung Daya Tarik Wisata Kebun Raya Balikpapan, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan pengunjung berdasarkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya serta menentukan faktor yang paling dominan yang mempengaruhi tingkat kepuasan pengunjung wisata. Tingkat kepuasan pengunjung dibatasi pada 6 faktor yang berpengaruh yaitu pemandangan, aksesbilitas/kemudahan , keamanan atau kenyamanan, kondisi dan ketersediaan fasilitas, kondisi jalan, serta pelayanan informasi yang terdapat pada Obyek Wisata Kebun Raya Balikpapan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif berdasarkan data yang didapatkan melalui kuisioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis kuantitatif mean aritmatik untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan pengunjung objek wisata kebun raya Balikpapan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat enam faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kepuasan pengunjung Daya Tarik Wisata Kebun Raya Balikpapan. Tingkat kepuasan pengunjung berada pada nilai 3,89 yang berada pada kriteria 3,40 - 4,19 yang masuk dalam kategori puas. faktor keindahan pemandangan yang memberikan sumbangan tingkat kepuasan yang tertinggi dengan nilai 4,08 kemudian faktor Kondisi jalan dan Akses atau kemudahan, dengan nilai 3,99 sedangkan faktor yang memberi tingkat sumbangan terhadap kepuasan terendah adalah faktor Kondisi Keamanan atau kenyamanan  obyek wisata dengan nilai 3,73ANALYSIS OF SATISFACTION VISITORS OF BALIKPAPAN BOTANICAL GARDENS TOURIST ATTRACTION ABSTRACTIn this study, the authors aims to analyze the level of visitor satisfaction at the Balikpapan Botanical Gardens Tourism Object. This study aims to determine the level of visitor satisfaction based on the factors that influence it and determine the most dominant factor affecting the level of visitor satisfaction. The level of visitor satisfaction is limited to 6 influencing factors, the view, accessibility / convenience, security or comfort, condition and availability of facilities, road conditions, and information services contained in the Balikpapan Botanical Garden Tourism Object. The method used is descriptive quantitative research method based on data obtained through questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is the arithmetic mean quantitative analysis to determine the level of visitor satisfaction at Balikpapan Botanical Gardens. The results of this study indicate that there are six factors that influence the level of satisfaction of visitors to the Balikpapan Botanical Gardens Tourism Object. The visitor satisfaction level is at a value of 3.89 which is in the criteria of 3.40 - 4.19 which is included in the satisfied category. the factor of the beauty of the scenery that contributed to the highest level of satisfaction with a value of 4.08 then the factor of road conditions and access or convenience, with a value of 3.99 while the factor that contributed to the lowest level of satisfaction was the factor of security conditions or the comfort of a tourist attraction with a value of 3, 73.Keywords: Arithmetic mean, Botanical garden,  Satisfaction level
