Background: One of the most prevalent cardiovascular problems in elderly people is hypertension.Health cadres are those who voluntarily dedicate their time to have concern about elderly people’s health status in the community. Health cadres’ roles are important to promote elderly people quality of life, including their hypertension management. Objectives: This research aimed to analyzethe correlation between the role of health cadres of elderly posyandu and the treatment of hypertension at Salamrejo Village Sentolo Kulon Progo. Methods: This research was a correlational study with a cross sectional approach. The sample of this study was selectedwith a total sampling technique, drawn 57 hypertension patients. Data were analyzedwith Spearman rank correlation. Results:The result showed that coefficient correlation value of Spearman’s rho (r) between the role of cadres of elderly posyandu and the treatment of hypertension patients was 0.294 and p-value was 0.026 (p<0.05). Conclusion:It can be concluded that there was a positive and significant correlation between the role of cadres of elderly posyandu and the treatment of hypertension. Background: Self efficacy can optimize the quality of life of clients who undergo the healing process due to chronic diseases. Individuals with higher self-efficacy move their personal and social resources proactively to maintain and improve the quality and length of their lives so that they experience a better quality of life. Objectives: the purpose of this study was to find the correlation between self efficacy and quality of life of patients with chronic kidney disease who undergo hemodialysis at RSUD Semarang Regency. Metode: This type of research was descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. The samples in this study more 76 people with total sampling technique. The data collection tool for self efficacy was measured by General Self-Efficacy scale, for quality of life with WHOQoL-BREF. Statistical test used Kolmogorov-smirnov. Result: The result showed that self efficacy in patients with chronic kidney disease was mostly in moderate category (53,9%), quality of life in patients with chronic kidney disease was mostly in good category (68,4%). There was a correlation between self efficacy and quality of life of patients with chronic kidney disease who undergo hemodialysis at RSUD Semarang Regency, the result obtained p-value of 0.000 <α (0,05). Suggestion: Patients with chronic kidney disease can maintain good quality of life by helping to generate positive self-esteem and high self efficacy.

Background: To have rest or to sleep is basic need that needed by everyone.  To have enough rest or sleep will make body functioned optimally. By sleeping people can restore or to rest the physical after whole day activities, it can reduce stress and anxiety. It also improve concentration and improve ability when doing daily activities. Factors that affect quality and quantity of sleep include ill, fatigue, environment, lifestyle, emotional stress, diet, smoking, stimulant, alcohol, and motivation. The stress level on assisted citizen of woman’s prisoner will be more severe than who are not in prison so as stress can be overcome then the quality of sleep becomes better. Objective:To know the correlation between stress levels and sleep quality on assisted people in woman Penitentiary class II A Yogyakarta. Methods: The research was conducted at women's prison class II A Yogyakarta.  Research population was 117 women prisoners. The sample was 50 women prisoners. Type of the research was descriptive analytic research with cross sectional design. Statistical analysis used chi square. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Results: The stress level was mostly in high category as many as 17 respondents experienced stress (34%). Sleep quality of the respondents were mostly in bad category as many as 38 respondents (76%). There is a correlation between stress level and sleep quality on women prisoners in Penitentiary class II A Yogyakarta with p-value (0.033). Conclusion: There is a correlation between stress level and sleep quality on women prisoners in Penitentiary class II A Yogyakarta.   Keywords:Stress level, sleep quality, assisted people, penitentiary

Background: One of problems in an organization or company is poor performance of employees. For instance, they do not complete tasks or finish their job responsibilities on time. The preliminary data taken from one of companies in Surabaya showed that 184 employees did not come to work without any explanations, and 288 employees worked late.Aim: This study analyzed the relationships between discipline and emotional intelligence towards employee performance at the company.Method: The design of this research was analytical using a cross sectional approach. The population of this study was employees at Production and Maintenance Section of one company in Surabaya comprising of 155 people. Out of 155 employees, 89 respondents were taken as samples using a stratified random sampling technique. Then, the data were collected through a questionnaire and analyzed using Spearman’s rank correlation test with a significance level of α 0.05.Results: This study showed that most of the respondents were very highly disciplined (94.4%) and had a highly emotional intelligence (74.2%). Lastly, most of them perform satisfyingly (50.6%). The results of the analysis test with Spearman’s rank correlation yielded p-value of 0.002 <α 0.05. It means there was a correlation between  discipline attitude and employee performance. The p-value 0.001 which was less than α-value of 0.05 showed that there was a correlation between emotional intelligence and employee performance.Conclusion: Discipline and emotional intelligence are prominent to determine employee performance at PT X. In order to improve the discipline and intelligence in the performance of the employees, the company should provide rewards based on employee’s achievements in the workplace. Key words: Emotional intelligence, Employee performance, Discipline.

The lack of patient satisfaction is due to the increasing demands of the patient's needs, but this is not accompanied by improvements in nurses' actions. If the customer feels dissatisfied with a service provided, then that service can be ascertained to be ineffective and inefficient. This is especially important for public services. Providing services to the community as done by RSUD Dr. R. Koesma Tuban, needs to get attention, especially in the quality of services to suit the needs and expectations of the community. This study focuses on the quality of nursing services and the level of patient satisfaction in the Asoka Hospital Dr. R. Koesma Tuban. This study aims to determine the relationship between the quality of nursing services with the level of patient satisfaction in the Asoka Hospital Dr. R. Koesma Tuban. This study uses analytic survey research with cross sectional approach, while the data analysis used is the Spearman Rank correlation test. The population used in this study were patients in the Asoka room of RSUD dr. R. Koesma Tuban who fit the inclusion criteria as many as 155, with a large sample of 112 respondents using a simple random sampling technique. The results showed that most patients were quite satisfied with the quite good nursing services. Spearmen Correlation Test Results (rs) obtained, the variable quality of nursing services (p <0.05) has a relationship to the level of patient satisfaction with moderate correlation (r = 0.476) and the direction of the positive correlation which means the better the quality of nursing services, the higher the level of satisfaction patient.Almost half of the nurses at Asoka Room  RSUD dr. R. Koesma Tuba have a good quality nursing service. Almost half of the patient at Asoka Room RSUD dr. R. Koesma Tuban feel satisfy with nurse’s service; there is a correlation between the quality of nurse service and the level of patient satisfaction  at Asoka Room RSUD dr. R. Koesma Tuban.

Nurse workload is very influential on child play therapy assistance caused by workload excessive workload, lack of facilities and infrastructure, nothing schedule for play therapy and the number of nurses  only 18 nurses, According to theory Gilles with the number of beds 34 needed 29 nurses. The purpose of this research is to know the Relationship of Nurse Workload with The Role of Child’s Nurse in Mentoring Play Therapy in Room Dahlia RSUD Dr. H Sewondo Kendal. This type of research is descriptive correlation with cross sectional. The sampling technique with total sampling, a sample is 18 respondents. Retrieval data using questionnaires and then tested into Spearman Rank test statistic. Based on research found 10 respondents (55,6%) have hard workload and 8 respondents (44,4%) have a light workload. The role of nurses in good categories 5 respondents (27,8%) and categories less is 13 respondents (72,2%). From result of Spearman Rank test analysis, get result of coefficient correlation value -868 in category very strong and obtained p value = 0,000 < 0,05 it’s mean Ha accepted and H0 rejected. There is a relantionship between the nurses workload with the role of child nurses in mentoring play therapy.

Discharge planning is one of the activities in the provision of nursing care on patients in the hospital, it will have a shortening impact on patient care in the hospital and reduce the patient's recurrence rate, but the implementation is not appropriate. so far, implementation of Discharge planning is still to be done after the patient finished having treatment by making a summary of the recording of patients return. Various characteristic factors of nurses can influence the implementation of discharge planning in hospital. The research purpose was to know the relationship of factors that influence discharge planning with the implementation of discharge planning. The research design used was cross-sectional, the instrument used was the questionnaire about the characteristics of the nurses and the implementation of discharge planning. The population of research was nurses who served in the inpatient room RSI Sakinah Mojokerto number of 80 nurses and obtained the number of 67 samples with proportional random sampling technique. The result of analysis with pearson correlation for age, education, length of work and chi-square for marital status showed that the characteristics of nurses related to discharge planning implementation were educational factor with p-value 0,023. The higher the nurse education caused more critical, logical and systematic in thinking so as to improve the quality of its work and the greater the desire to utilize the knowledge and skills it possesses keywords        : discharge planning, nurses, education

Background : The incidence of depression in elderly people in Indonesia is currently high.Indonesia has entered the era of elderly population. In 2009, the number of people agedover 60 years about 7.18%. Depression is a major mental health problem today. This isvery important because the incidence of depression will badly affects the productivity ofpeople particulary in a developing society.Research purposes : This research was generally aimed to find out the relationshipbetween family support and depression level in elderly as well as specifically to identifyfamily support for elderly and identify depression level in elderly.Subject : Research respondents were elderly people aged 60 years and over in TelukanVillage Sukoharjo District.Method : This research is a correlation research with cross sectional approach to analyzethe relationship betwen family support with depression level in elderly in Telukan VillageSukoharjo District. In this study the researcher used a saturated sampling technique inwhich all members of the population was used as a research respondent accounted for60.Research result : The majority of respondents who good support from their family was58.3% while the rest 41.7% got less support. The majority of were normal category (80%)while those with mild depression by 20%. The results of analysis with PearsonCorrelation obtained p value = 0.000 and value r = - 0.559.Conclusion : There is a significant relationship between family support and the incidenceof depression in the elderly. The higher the family support the lower the incidence ofdepression in the elderly.Keywords: depression, family support, elderly

Hospitals play a role in improving the quality of health services. It was important to accurately measure patients' level of satisfaction.The previous study showed the score of 74.67%. It was lower than the level of customer satisfaction in Wonosari Regional PublicHospital (75.34%), 62.5% of the patients were satisfied of tangibles, 75% were satisfied on reliability, and 62.5% were satisfied inempathy. Research objective to investigate factors of midwifery service quality in Wonosari Regional Public Hospital MidwiferyClinic. This research method used analytical survey with cross sectional approach. 82 people were taken as samples by usingpurposive sampling technique. The data analysis employed Gamma testing. The result was factors of service quality in WonosariRegional Public Hospital Midwifery Clinicwere categorized as good. The percentages are: direct proof 54.9%, reliability 56.1%,empathy 57.3%, responsiveness 54.9%, guarantee 52.4%. The patient satisfaction level was 61.0%. The Gamma test resultshowed that the p-value of direct proof, reliability, empathy, responsiveness, and guarantee is 0.000 < 0.05. In addition, the value of rgamma of direct proof and responsiveness = 0.979, reliability = 0.993, empathy = 0.985 and guarantee = 0.988.
