Converter was one tool unit that consisting 4 beds in the production process of sulfuric acid. The performance of this converter was supported by the addition of a vanadium pentaoxide (V2O5) catalyst. The process that occurring in the converter was double contacts – double absorbers. The purpose of this case was converter performance evaluation that using by SO2 conversion parameter to SO3. Primary data was the dry air flow rate that entering the burner, the SO2 gas content that be into the converter, the catalyst temperature of each converter bed, and the catalyst pressure in each bed converter. Data on the field showed that activity on bed I was 72,96%, and theoretical was 60%. Then, bed II gave 91,22%; 87%; on bed III was 96,85%; 94%; and bed IV was 99,9%; 99,73% as respectively. From these experiments could be concluded that result data was greater than the theoretical. The difference of this conversion indicated that the performance of the converter did not increase

This aimed at analyzing the level of productivity of rice produced by organic rice farmers and non-organic rice farmers in Subak farmer group in Peguyangan Village, Denpasar. From these results, an efficient and effective alternative solution was further formulated by a farmer group to determine the decision on growing organic or non-organic rice. This research was prompted by the concepts of food security, theory of productivity and costs. The research used primary data sourced from subak farmer groups in Peguyangan Village, Denpasar and from documents that existed in the farmer group. The analysis results showed that the difference in the level of significance of organic rice was 0.740 while the non-organic rice had a significant level of 0.581. This result means that the level of productivity produced for organic rice is greater than that of non-organic rice. Based on these results, it is recommended that subak farmer groups in Peguyangan Village, Denpasar plant organic rice because its significance level is greater than that of non-organic rice but also not have to completely ignore growing non-organic rice to stabilize the food needs of Balinese people.

The present study for performance evaluation newly developed varieties of CIM –Kranti and other varieties of menthol mint cultivation has been carried out at farmers’ field of central Uttar Pradesh. Mints are commonly used as the source of fragrance, flavor and pharmaceuticals industry. During the study period 2017-18, 100 farmers cultivating CIM-Kranti and other varieties have been selected from the region of central Uttar Pradesh. The primary data were collected from the selected farmer’s field on profitability comparison between CIM-Kranti and other varieties under cultivation. The highest area and production has been observed during 2012 and 2013. Simple statistical tools and techniques have been used for data analysis of the cost of cultivation and profitability. It has been observed during the study that CIM-Kranti gives higher returns (.98491/- ha/year) over other varieties (.70977/-ha/year). However, the input cost of CIM-Kranti is higher than other varieties of the crop but the net return of CIM-Kranti was more profitable than other varieties. The benefit cost ratio has been observed 1.45 and 1.74 of other varieties and CIM-Kranti respectively. The new variety “CIM-Kranti” of menthol mint is cold and frost tolerant and has the potential to produce 10-15% more oil i.e. 145-160 kg/ha in summer season as compared to all other popular commercial cultivars of menthol mint.It is suggested from the study that maximum profit is generated through CIM-Kranti cultivation followed by other varieties crop.

The observed of the retail industry is Alfamidi and Indomaret. The study was designed into a descriptive-quantitative method. The source of primary data obtained from the questionnaire of 100 respondents. The formulating variable of retail mix includes: merchandise assortments, pricing, customer services Store design and display, communication mix, and location. Data analyze by using descriptive, analysis of factors, and t-test. The result confirmed that the level of retail mix consumer satisfaction in both industry is relatively similar. However, it can be stated that the respondents were more satisfied to Indomaret compared with Alfamart.

Abstract Every port in Indonesia must have a Port Master Plan that contains an integrated port development plan. This study discusses one important aspect in the preparation of the Port Master Plan, namely the projected movement of goods and passengers, which can be used as a reference in determining the need for facilities at each stage of port development. The case study was conducted at a port located in a district in Maluku Province and aims to evaluate the analysis of projected demand for goods and passengers occurring at the port. The projection method used is time series and econometric projection. The projection results are then compared with the existing data in 2018. The results of this study show that the econometric projection gives adequate results in predicting loading and unloading activities as well as the number of passenger arrival and departure in 2018. This is indicated by the difference in the percentage of projection results towards the existing data, which is smaller than 10%. Whereas for loading and unloading activities, time series projections with logarithmic trends give better results than econometric projections. Keywords: port, port master plan, port development, unloading activities  Abstrak Setiap pelabuhan di Indonesia harus memiliki sebuah Rencana Induk Pelabuhan yang memuat rencana pengem-bangan pelabuhan secara terpadu. Kata-kata kunci: pelabuhan, rencana induk pelabuhan, pengembangan pelauhan, aktivitas bongkar barang
