The research results of the physical development level, indicators of technical and tactical actions of young football players aged 13–14 of different game roles are presented. The research involved 46 young players aged 13-14 of FC "Arsenal" in Kharkov, including 6 goalkeepers, 8 central defenders, 8 wing defenders, 8 central midfielders, 8 wing midfielders, 8 forwards. The following methods were used: theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical testing, and mathematical statistics. Quantitative indicators of motor actions of young football players of 13-14 years of different game role according to the results of 10 calendar games are determined. It was established that the quality of performance of technical and tactical actions of young football players was not the same for players of different game roles. Goalkeepers mainly make long and short passes (29.8 ± 1.19 and 27.2 ± 1.16% of the total number of technical and tactical actions). The largest number of movements with the back forward, cross step and additional step was made by the goalkeeper (12.3; 7.0; 2.6% of game actions per game), which were statistically significantly higher in relation to all field players (p <0.001). Goalkeepers during the game perform more jumps (32.4 ± 1.48% of all motor actions) and throwing the ball (26.4 ± 1.48%). Goalkeepers’ indicators of speed and power capabilities (in the test "vertical jumping") were statistically significantly superior (p <0.05) to players of all other lines. The correlations between the test indicators that reflect the level of goalkeepers’ physical fitness were determined. A statistically significant correlation was established between the indicator "vertical jumping" and running 30 m (ρ = -0.82, p <0.05), indicators of starting and distance speed (ρ = 0.84 and ρ = 0.86, p <0.05), the indicator "running 10 m on the move" with a 6-minute run, which characterized the overall endurance (ρ = -0.83, p <0.05). Goalkeepers are characterized by the relationship between all technical and tactical actions of the game and the level of motor skills development, namely the statistical significance of the correlation of speed and speed-power qualities with technical and tactical indicators.

Introduction. Indicators of financial and economic support and migration of football players create preconditions for the formation of a highly competitive sports environment in professional football clubs and in the Ukrainian Premier League. The aim of the study is to analyze the quantitative indicators of migration of football players in the Ukrainian Premier League in relation to the financial and economic support of professional football clubs and to systematize the results. Materials and methods: analysis and generalization of data of scientific and methodical literature sources and the Internet, pedagogical observations, content analysis of materials of official sites of professional football clubs of the Ukrainian Premier League, official sites of the Ukrainian Football Association and the Ukrainian Premier League, methods of mathematical statistics. Results. The relationship between the financial value of Ukrainian athletes and migrant footballers, who are declared in the competition of the Ukrainian Premier League of the season 2021-2022, is analyzed. Conclusions. Analysis of the financial value of professional football clubs of the Ukrainian Premier League in relation to the migration of football players allows us to state that the leaders of the sports rating are the most financially capable teams: «Shakhtar» (Donetsk) and «Dynamo» (Kyiv), with a total the transfer value of the players is € 179,700,000 and € 136,100,000 respectively. The average cost of a migrant player in the leading professional football clubs of the Ukrainian Premier League «Shakhtar» (Donetsk) is 8,800,000 €, «Dynamo» (Kyiv) ‒ 3,420,000 €. Analysis of the transfer value of domestic athletes and migrant footballers in the application letters of the Ukrainian Premier League shows the absence of direct and inverse linear relationships, which suggests the presence of complex multilevel dependencies that require processing by more complex mathematical and statistical methods and preliminary grouping of available experimental data

In the context of modern educational conditions, it becomes actual to solve the problem of preparation of such teaching aids that would act as an integral tool of the pedagogical technology of effective training in power exercises. The aim of the article is to present the results of the analysis of modern requirements for the didactic projection of teaching aids, to justify the demand for their design and to present a project for the integrated use of didactic tools in the training of power exercises. The study used a method of theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature on the issues reflecting the state of the problem of the didactic facilities projection, the theoretical foundations of training motor activities, the problems of creating and using didactic means for teaching motor activities. To determine the efficiency of the traditional methods of teaching power exercises a pedagogical experiment was established. 34 girls and 47 boys participated in the experiment. The results which showed the quality of learning the orienting basis for motor actions were obtained by testing. Results of the study. The modern requirements of the theory of projecting teaching aids indicate the need for a comprehensive design and reflection of the components of the implemented didactic system in the teaching facilities, namely: the purpose of training, the content of training, the learning process itself and organizational forms of education. Projecting these elements in accordance with the requirements presented in the theory makes it possible to implement a pre-designed didactic system in practice. The analysis of the theoretical bases of teaching motor actions shows that the process of mastering knowledge of motor actions as an indicative basis for carrying out these actions is of primary importance for developing motor skills and abilities. The obtained results of power exercises training system according to the traditional method showed the following: 70.2% of young men and 84.3% of girls reached the first level of learning the orienting basis of motor actions in power training. Indicators of the second level of learning were extremely low: only 5% of boys and 18.7% of girls reached it. The project has been created for training motor activities using such didactic facilities as an electronic educational resource and instruction cards. Each facility has its own functions in providing the stages of the educational and cognitive cycle, the use of which is designed depending on the way the group of students are organized, the forms of the educational process organization.

Objective: The purpose of the present study was to observe whether the Self- Reporting Qustinative (SRQ-20) questionnaire was sensitive enough to pick-up the depressive symptoms of mothers in the urban slum community. Methodology: This was a pilot study in a Dhaka Shantytown and women were interviewed to examine the relationship between maternal depression and their children's diarrheal morbidity. In addition to other socio-demographic information, the Self-Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ-20) was used to screen for maternal depression. Result: A total number of 55 women were interviewed to examine fifty-one percent of mothers scored within the high-risk psycho-morbidity group, suggesting depression. High SRQ scores significantly correlated with poor marital relationships (Regression coefficient ± standard error =-0.624+0.225, p=0.008; 95%CI:-1.076, -0.172). High-risk mothers breastfed for a shorter duration than low-risk mothers (3.4 vs. 4.4 months, p=0.35) and their children had more diarrheal episodes (2 episodes vs. 1, p=0.18), although these differences did not show statistical significance. Conclusion: Depression is common among mothers in urban slums and that a well-designed large study is required to further explore the provocative relationship between maternal depression and child diarrhea with subsequent malnutrition to improve the quality of life of those at risk. It is considered that cognitive function and attention could affect walking, motion control, and proper conduct during the walk. To determine whether there is a difference in the quality of attention and cognitive ability in stroke patients and patients without neurological damage of similar age and education and to determine whether the connection of attention and cognition affects motor skills, the sample consisted of 50 stroke patients tested with hemiparesis, involved in the process of rehabilitation, and 50 persons, randomly chosen, without neurological damage. The survey used the following tests: Trail Making (TMT A B) test for assessing the flexibility of attention; Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) for cognitive status; Functional Ambulation Category (FAC) test to assess the functional status and parameters of walk: speed, frequency, and length of stride; STEP test for assessing the precision of movement and balance. With stroke patients, relationship between age and performance on the MMSE test was marginally significant. The ratio of performance to TMT A B test and years does not indicate statistical significance, while statistical significance between the MMSE test performance and education exists. In stroke patients, performance on MMSE test is correlated with the frequency and length of stride walk. The quality of cognitive function and attention is associated with motor skills but differs in stroke patients and people without neurological damage of similar age. The significance of this correlation can supplement research in neurorehabilitation, improve the quality of medical rehabilitation, and contribute to efficient recovery of these patients.

ABSTRACT Deficits in motor skills and depressive symptoms are common effects observed after stroke, so it is necessary to understand how these variables interact with each other. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between these two variables in post-ischemic stroke patients. We evaluated 135 patients with a mean age of 60 years (± 15). The Fugl-Meyer assessment of motor function was used to assess motor skills in the upper limbs, lower limbs, balance, and sensitivity and the Beck Depression Inventory was applied to evaluate depressive symptoms. To assess the relationship between both components, Spearman's correlation was performed. Depressive symptoms were negatively correlated with all variables of motor skills. This study suggests that higher motor skills in post-stroke patients may be associated with fewer depressive symptoms. Thus, a better understanding of how post-stroke symptoms are interrelated may improve patient treatment and care, contributing to a better quality of life.

There is significant debate about compensation of college athletes in revenue generating sports. In college football, the potential heterogeneity in player value has received little attention in the discussion. The relationship between player quality, team performance, and sport-specific revenue should inform any compensation scheme for college football players. In this article, we provide estimates of player monetary value in college football. This is the first study to exploit player-specific ex ante recruit ratings, team performance, and football-specific revenue and profit (revenue net of expenditures) to infer player valuations. This allows us to estimate value for players whose performance can be difficult to measure given traditional sport metrics. We use a unique data set which records individual recruits by ex ante star rating annually for every Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) school and combine that data with data on team performance, bowl appearances by type, and football-specific revenue. Using a valuation approach which links player-specific quality to team performance and subsequently to revenue, we infer the value of recruits by their ex ante recruit rating. We estimate that five-star recruits increase annual revenue by US$650,000, four-star recruits increase revenue by roughly US$350,000, and three-star recruits increase revenue by US$150,000. Two-star recruits, however, are negatively related to revenue and profit, with two-star athletes reducing annual revenue by US$13,000. Overall, our results imply that player valuations are heterogeneous and that ex ante ratings of player quality are strongly related to school-specific football revenue and profit and may be predictive measures in a compensation scheme.

Introduction: Endometriosis affects around 10% of women of reproductive age with symptoms of pelvic pain, dysmenorrhoea, dyspareunia, dyschezia, and infertility. Current research highlights a possible relationship between endometriosis and poor sleep quality. The aim of this study was to assess the relationship between sleep quality and endometriosis. Outcomes measured included sleep quality and quality of life and pain score. Methods: Thirty women with a histological diagnosis of endometriosis and 30 control patients completed an online questionnaire that assessed sleep quality (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index) and quality of life (WHO-QOL-BREF). Pain scores within the endometriosis group were evaluated using a visual analogue scale. Results: Women with endometriosis had significantly poorer sleep quality (80% vs 50%, p = 0.015) and lower quality of life scores when compared to the control group. Within the endometriosis group, there were trends between poor sleep, a reduced quality of life, and higher pain scores; however, these did not reach statistical significance. Discussion: Sleep quality and quality of life were significantly reduced in women with endometriosis when compared to controls.
