An original approach to the analysis of problems development of modern Ukraine is offered. Possible ways to solve them for the country's transition from a state of transition to sustainable development are being clarified. The authors see the reasons for the instability of the current situation in Ukraine in the fact that its development is characterized by signs of neo-feudalism. Namely: the revival of feudal traditions of management, the dominance of socio-economic traditions of feudal societies. A typical feature of neo-feudalism in Ukraine is the localization of the population through the procedure of registration. This ensures the person's attachment to the place of residence, pressure, and hence control over it. In addition, the uncertainty of land ownership and the forced-militaristic system of state security are characteristic of modern Ukraine. These factors are a means of state pressure and coercion on the population of Ukraine, which are contrary to the principles of liberalism. Overcoming such outdated inhibitory factors, according to the authors, should have a positive impact on the further development of Ukraine, stabilization of its development and optimization of civil society institutions

In the conditions of the global economic crisis, technical and technological and social changes, entrepreneurship is imposed as a counterbalance to globalization, due to uncertain market factors and destabilized national economies. One of the world's socioeconomic side effects is global solidarity: a way of thinking about society and the environment that makes ecology along with small and medium-sized enterprises the main parameters of economic reforms on a global scale. Bearing in mind that entrepreneurship represents a specific, tangible approach to making profit in terms of observing and exploiting business opportunities in the market, dictated by innovative, technological and social conditions, companies around the world, and at the level of development strategies of government governments, implement the concept of sustainable development into their business plans , focusing not only on financial gain, but also on the social aspect of having a positive impact on society. The ecological dimension of sustainable development relates primarily to the broader notion of profit making: the ability of society to change for the better in the fields of employment, education, recycling and cultural activities. Companies based on ecological principles are now called sustainable / ecological enterprises, and an economy based on the study of environmental resources for environmental economies. However, the education itself and the development of ethics on the environment in the environment are largely hampered by the development of ecological entrepreneurship, since the destruction of the Earth's ecosystems is not provable with sufficient scientific truth, and on the other hand, global NGOs constantly point to the advantage of an ecological business model as an investment asset because the environmental problem global, and therefore allows for international cooperation, while ecological companies create value in the same way as ecosystems: not producing waste or wasting unsustainable resources.

Abstract It is the theme of today to develop green economy and improve environmental efficiency (EE). As a comprehensive index to measure energy input, economic output and environmental development, environmental efficiency (EE) is of great significance for China to realize the sustainable development of economy and environment. China is in a critical period of industrial transformation and upgrading and ecological civilization construction, the effect of the collaborative agglomeration of manufacturing and productive services on environmental efficiency has drawn attention from policymakers. In this study, the stochastic frontier approach (SFA) with unpaid input is used to measure the environmental efficiency (EE) of 66 cities in eastern China during 2009–2018. Population structure is regarded as a mediator to investigate the impact of industrial collaborative agglomeration on environmental efficiency based on the spatial econometric model. The results show that industrial collaborative agglomeration has a positive impact on environmental efficiency, which can be moderated by population density, aging and quality at the same time, while the moderating effect of population urbanization is not significant. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize the coordinated governance system of regional ecological environment, accelerate the construction of industrial collaborative agglomeration, and promote the sustainable development of industry and ecology with the advantage of population structure in order to improve environmental efficiency (EE).

Sustainable development considers the development that achieves the present economic goals, without obstructing the future development in a sense of satisfying the needs of society and endangering the environment. Recently, the entrepreneurship phenomenon has been widely recognized as an important path towards sustainable development, positively contributing to the development of society. Thus, in the paper, the empirical evidence on linkages between entrepreneurial activity indicators and social development goals is provided. To examine the linkages, the data from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor and Sustainable Development Goals Index were used. The empirical results suggest that entrepreneurship represents an important factor for fostering sustainability, particularly in opportunity-driven and innovative entrepreneurial activities. The results show, that both of them have a positive impact on sustainable development, while the necessity-driven entrepreneurial activity negatively affects sustainable development. This could be explained by the fact that necessity entrepreneurs are not likely to become the entrepreneurs to implement a promising business opportunity, but rather to earn an income. To achieve the sustainable development goals as well as entrepreneurship should become the national priority by introducing new policies and measures, that is, making the conditions, through which entrepreneurship could achieve positive contributions to the development of the society.
