The article shows the results of a comprehensive study of adolescents in the situation of self-isolation during the Covid 19 pandemic. The coronavirus pandemic as a threat to health and the situation of forced self-isolation, the widespread distance learning have changed the familiar world of a teenager. These changes could provoke a decrease in the level of adolescents’ psychological well-being due to the lack of experience in adapting to such unusual conditions. This problem was the subject of our study. The research sample consisted of 126 teenagers aged 12-14 years. The teenagers are the pupils of secondary schools in Moscow. The research methods included a questionnaire based on the questionnaires ("Understanding the situation of self-isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic", "The attitude of adolescents to forced distance learning"), the test "Scale of subjective well-being" (G. Perue-Badu) translated by M. V. Sokolova, which were conducted via the Google form in June 2020. According to the questionnaire "Understanding the situation of self-isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic", adolescents have showed an average level of understanding of the situation of self-isolation: they agree with the need for a self-isolation regime, but have difficulties to comply with it, note difficulties in understanding themselves and interacting with their environment, and have an increased sense of anxiety. The similar data were obtained with respect to the indicator of subjective well-being, and we found out the average level of the signs accompanying the main psycho emotional symptoms, changes in mood and self-assessment of health. The questionnaire "The attitude of adolescents to forced distance learning" showed a contradiction: adolescents are interested in distance learning, but they do not like the increase in the volume of homework. It is worth mentioning that we noted adolescents’ dissatisfaction with the changed process of communication with a teacher and unwillingness to continue school education remotely. According to the results of the study, we can conclude that the level of adolescents’ psychological well-being has changed, since the mentioned factors did not contribute to its improvement. We understand that in the nearest future the psycho prophylactic work with the adolescents should be the priority task of school psychologists.

Family issues and the topic of social family policy in Greece is the subject of researches by a number of Greek sociologists (V. Filias (Β. Φίλιας), G.-S. Prevelakis (Γ.-Σ. Πρεβελάκης), H. Simeonidou (Χ. Συμεωνίδου), G. Georgas (Γ. Γεωργάς), L. Musuru (Λ. Μουσούρου), L. Maratu-Aliprandi (Λ. Μαράτου-Αλιπράντη). It seems interesting and useful to consider the situation in Greece from the point of view of its ambivalent nature: traditional values and patriarchal order, on the one hand, and adherence to liberal European sentiments, on the other. In the modern world, there is a "reformatting of ideas about the essence of family and marriage" [Noskova A. V., 2017: 123], which leads, in particular, to the rejection of having children, to increasingly frequent divorces "for no reason", to irresponsibility in awareness roles in the family, to the vulnerability of socialization, to the infantilism of adults, to avoidance of awareness of problems of various kinds, to egocentrism. Modern Greece is not an exception. The growing number of single-parent families in cities, low birth rates, divorces, loneliness, depression are characteristic features of many families. This allows us to speak about the “crisis of the Greek family” [Γεωργάς, 2010]. This research may be of interest to specialists dealing with the topic of the family, and significantly supplement the existing research in the domestic sociological field.

The task of this paper is to identify a set of subjective factors that affect the decision-making in the family about the birth of the second and subsequent children. For the broadest possible description of the phenomenon under study, the method of slightly-structured interviews was used. To assess the severity of the established subjective factors based on the analysis of qualitative interviews, a questionnaire consisting of two parts was developed and tested. The first part is intended for parents of any children, the second — only for parents of children with special needs. The questionnaire was completed by 122 women with at least one child. 75 of the respondents had a child with special needs and completed both parts of the questionnaire. 92 respondents lived in Russia, the rest respondents lived in English-speaking countries. Based on the results of responses for each part of the questionnaire, an exploratory factor analysis was performed using the principal component method with Kaiser normalization. As a result, the first part of the questionnaire revealed 11 significant scale-factors, and the second part — 3 significant scale-factors. Since the survey was conducted with both Russian-speaking and English-speaking respondents, the questionnaire is available in two versions (in two languages). This questionnaire will be useful for building correctional and rehabilitation work with parents of children with disabilities. The authors are ready to provide the questionnaire to interested specialists (free of charge).

The article deals with the peculiarities of civil identity of students in the Far East in the context of growing divergences within society with regard to life perspectives. Awareness of the significance of students' civic identity acquires the importance of a marker for predicting the future. The research sample includes 186 students of Transbaikal and Primorsky Krais aged 18 — 35. The results of the analysis indicate the importance of national-civil identity for student youth and the absence of direct correlation between national-civil identity, territorial identity and indicators of physical and economic security, life and self-satisfaction. Students of Zabaikalsky State University clearly demonstrate a strong civic (Russian) identity, positive civic self-identification, and commitment to traditional values. Independence of judgment, confidence in economic and physical security, and satisfaction with oneself and life are characteristic of students of Far Eastern Federal University. No significant differences are observed in the manifestation of ethnic tolerance.

The article analyzes some results of the international migration of the Lithuanian population in the context of European integration. During the post-Soviet period, irreversible transformations of the country's economic system have taken place. With the accession to the EU, a significant part of the population is oriented towards work in other EU countries, as a result, the quality of labor potential in modern Lithuania is decreasing. Young people do not see any special career prospects in their country. The slowdown in European integration processes, compounded by the restrictions of the coronavirus pandemic, triggered the return of a significant part of previously emigrated Lithuanian citizens to their homeland in 2020. Stopping the flow of money from EU funds to reform the economy and support public institutions in Lithuania will significantly exacerbate the systemic problems of the Lithuanian economy that accumulated during the post-Soviet period of development. It is highly likely that returning Lithuanians will not be able to fulfill their expectations in the labor and social sphere, which will provoke tension in Lithuanian society. In this situation, Russia's constructive policy towards Lithuania could create an alternative to the European vector of development, reorienting the migration preferences of the younger generation of Lithuanians from the West to the East.

The relevance of the publication is due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which provokes an increase in mortality and a reduction in opportunities for socio-economic development. The aim of the study is to identify the vulnerability factors of the older generation of Russia during the pandemic. In terms of the number of cases, our country is in fourth place in the world. In Russia, the disease has affected more than 3.9 million people, including 16,688 people infected over the past day, more than 3.4 million were cured. The group with a high risk of death from coronavirus is elderly people with chronic diseases. But such «privileges» — "not a step out of the house!" — many did not want and do not want. Elderly people are at risk for the incidence and severity of COVID-19. However, this age group is differentiated. In social policy towards the elderly, the total isolation of people aged 65+ has become a step backwards. In sociology under the ageism refers to discrimination based on age. "The syndemic nature of the COVID-19 threat calls for not only treating every ailment, but also urgently addressing the underlying social inequalities that shape them.
