The Mathematics and Natural Sciences Olympiad is a competition event that aims to hone as well as provide students in the fields of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. The selection of prospective participants to attend the year event at each school has their own suggestions and methods.  Based on the above the authors conducted a study of a computer-based system for the development of participant selection methods, using simple additive weighting methods and using 6 proposals such as mathematics tests, science tests, average report cards, discipline, activeness, and honesty in give weight. After conducting the testing and testing process on the support system decision on the selection of candidates for Mathematics and Natural Sciences Olympiad level elementary school students to use simple additive weighting method in SDN 2 Melayu, the result is a capable system provide recommendations for potential participants who are entitled to participate Olympic with 75% confidence level.

Abstrak:Sebagai lembaga pendidikan formal, SMKN 1 Ciomas merupakan salah satu sekolah yang memberikan beasiswa kepada para siswa. Beasiswa ini ditujukan untuk siswa kurang mampu. Untuk bisa mendapatkan beasiswa tersebut, siswa harus memenuhi kriteria-kriteria yang ditetapkan oleh SMKN 1 Ciomas. Kriteria-kriteria tersebut antara lain surat keterangan tidak mampu, status anak dalam keluarga, penghasilan orangtua, jumlah tanggungan orangtua, dan nilai rata-rata raport semester terakhir. Hanya siswa yang memenuhi kriteria-kriteria tersebut yang dapat memperoleh beasiswa. Untuk membantu penentuan dalam menetapkan seseorang yang layak menerima beasiswa maka dibutuhkan sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan. Sistem pendukung keputusan berbasis komputer merupakan salah satu cara untuk membantu permasalahan penyeleksi penerima beasiswa tersebut. Oleh karena itu perlu dibangun sistem pendukung keputusan untuk penerimaan beasiswa dengan menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) yang mempunyai kemampuan untuk memecahkan masalah multikriteria. Dari hasil pengujian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa sistem pendukung keputusan untuk penerimaan beasiswa ini telah berhasil dikembangkan dan menampilkan perankingan dari hasil penyeleksian para calon penerima beasiswa. Kata Kunci: beasiswa, sistem pendukung keputusan, SAW  Abstract: As formal education institutions, SMKN 1 Ciomas is one school that provides scholarships to students. This scholarship is intended for disadvantaged students. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must meet the criteria set by SMKN 1 Ciomas. These criteria include a certificate can not afford, the status of children in the family, parental income, number of dependents of parents, and the average value of the last semester report cards. Only students who meet the criteria to obtain a scholarship. To assist in determining a person determining the eligible then takes a decision support system. Computer-based decision support system is one way to help the problems of the grantee selectors. Therefore, it is necessary to build a decision support system for receiving a scholarship by using Simple Additive weighting method (SAW) which has the ability to solve the problem of multiple criteria. From the test results, we concluded that the decision support system for receiving this scholarship has been successfully developed and display the ranking of the results of the selection of the scholarship recipients. Keywords: scholarship, decision support systems, SAW

Majors are part of higher education institutions that a very important role determining the thesis student supervisor . At the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA) the determination of the thesis supervisor is carried out through a lecturer meeting based on its title in accordance with the competence of the lecturer who will guide, regardless of the number of lecturers' workload or the number of students being supervised. The results of the decision of the meeting to determine the supervisors will be announced to students after the meeting is held. This flow inefficient and may lead to ineffective determination of the supervisor . The final result of the system shows that the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method can be applied to determine the weight value of each attribute so as to produce a ranking of each alternative lecture who will be selected as a student supervisor for the thesis according to the result of computerized and accurate calculations.

Clustering is an algorithm in a decision support system that functions to organize an object into groups of data. In the clustering process, of course, a cluster centre is needed by the desired data group. However, the clustering process has a problem. Related research states that the results of k-means clustering can influence the selection of cluster centre points. Random selection of cluster centre points can result in different clustering results in the same data group. Not only on k-means, but k-medoids also have the same problem. So that to produce a good cluster, you must start by choosing the right cluster centre. To solve this problem, the Simple Additive Weighting method is used to select the centre point of the cluster. Simple Additive Weighting selects the centre point of the cluster by adding and summarizing the dataset. The summation is done by giving weight to each criterion and each criterion has its alternative value. From this weighted addition, the final value will be obtained. From the sum of SAW, then one of the objects with the highest and lowest values ​​can be taken to serve as the centre of the cluster.

The principal is a teacher who is given an additional assignment to be a leader in a school, the task of the principal can regulate, control and empower the community in the surrounding area, selection of outstanding school principals, so far both the school and Kuantan Singingi District Education Office determine the outstanding headmaster does not have an application that can simplify the work in calculating the weight value to determine the principals who are pretending, the assessment carried out so far is only manual, the application of the SAW method is used to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives - each participant will be ranked from highest to lowest. The results obtained from this study are that the system built can facilitate selection, so the selection process becomes more effective, efficient and transparent.

The purpose of this research is to design decision support system of exemplary web-based employee using SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method in capital investment and integrated service one door regency kebumen.        Calculation method used is SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method. Data collection techniques used is by observation, literature study and interviews that have a close relationship with the principal problems and methods of system development used is the method of waterfall system development. From the results of research conducted found the problems such as the lack of effective selection of exemplary employees who performed because it is still manual so that the selection of exemplary employees are still not efficient. The suggestions given to overcome the problem are: 1) Need to be socialized and training to the related sections, especially on the Subdivision of Personnel and general as admin, so that information systems can be utilized properly, 2) Need a better system development for data security can be more awake.

Telkomsel Distribution Center (TDC) Jombang has problems in promoting employees to fill the Supervisor (SPV) and Branch Manager (BM) positions. TDC Jombang has several assessment criteria for employees to be able to fill SPV and BM positions. But in the assessment process, each criterion still tends to be subjective. In making decisions based on several criteria, a Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) approach can be used by applying the method that is considered most appropriate to produce the best alternative decision recommendations. This study aims to provide the best solution by implementing the Multi-Criteria Decision Making approach using the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method which will be programmed in a computer-based decision support system (SPK). The SAW method was chosen because it can weigh the values on each attribute and rank to get the best alternative recommendations. The data used are Jombang TDC employee data. From this study, it was obtained that the use of the SAW method programmed in the SPK succeeded in presenting information comparing the value of preferences between candidates. Candidates with the highest preference value are the most recommended alternatives to choose

Abstract The scholarship is a form of giving the material, besides being able to encourage the students to be more active, to support the progress of the education world, to sharpen themselves to become a qualified student, and also to provide the relief in paying tuition fee for the students. STMIK Tunas Bangsa holds a scholarship program for outstanding and underprivileged students by fulfilling the requirements that must be met. This is where the campus conducts selection to determine who is eligible to receive the scholarship. In the process of selection of scholarship recipients is needed a method of decision-making scholarship. One of the methods that can be used for decision support systems is by applying the Fuzzy MADM (Multiple Attribute Decission Making) method. To perform the calculation on this method using SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method. This method is chosen because it is able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives, in this case the intended alternative is that eligible to receive scholarship based on the criteria specified. Informatics Engineering of Palangka Raya University have an organization that called Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknik Informatika (HMTI). Problems that are often encountered in a set one of them is in taking the best choice for candidates for core management and membership in each new management period. Another obstacle faced is in making decisions not using methods that can handle these problems with many criteria. The number of considerations certainly has the hope of obtaining good human resources for the set, it's just that sometimes it becomes a difficulty for the old management to take the best choice for the right successor candidate and in accordance with the position and division in the set so that a container is needed to bridge these activities so that they can run well and effectively. The methodology used in the development is by simple additive weighting method and Waterfall According to Sommerville. simple additive weighting method has 4 steps that is determine the criteria, determine the suitability assessment, make a decision matrix based on criteria (Ci) then normalize the matrix, then summarize the multiplication of the R atomized matrix with the increase vector, get the large value chosen as the best (Ai) as a solution.From the test results it can be concluded that the decision support system website for the selection of core managers and new members using the simple additive weighting method at the Collection Informatics Engineering Students of Palangka Raya University is going well

The lack of a disaster information system nowadays has made it difficult to find out information in the disaster area. Making information systems in disaster areas is important to solve the problem of uneven distribution of aid provided at each barrack. Because the conditions of each barrack are different, a system is needed to determine the priority for selecting disaster. To be able to determine the recommendations for the selection of disaster barracks, this study uses the Fuzzy Simple Additive Weighting (Fuzzy SAW) method, uses fuzzy method to determine the input basis value to SAW [3]. With the implementation of the Fuzzy SAW method, the results of this study can provide recommendations for Badan Penangguangan Bencan Daerah (BPBD) of Malang to determine the priority of disaster barracks that can take precedence.
