Presented the results of evaluation of structural connection, identity and interchangeability of main asymmetric types of theoretical distributions most often acceptable for assessing the distributions of various indicators in geology and technology. The method of empirical analysis and statistical inference was used with the involvement of nonparametric facts according to the distribution patterns. The analysis of the empirical results of the application of the lognormal, gamma distribution and the Weibull distribution with the involvement of extensive statistical data from literary and research sources is carried out. The characteristic features and statistical regularities of distributions inherent to them are revealed, estimated statistical conclusions are obtained, according to which structural relationships between the functions of the lognormal, gamma and Weibull distributions are revealed. The identity and authenticity of the development of probabilistic frequencies in their application have been established, the complex geometric "image" of asymmetry inherent to these types of distributions is generalized. Structural relationships and interchangeability of asymmetric types of distributions are recommended to increase the reliability and credibility of the estimated choice of distribution in conditions of uncertainty and insignificance of statistical data when solving problems associated with forecasts, technological and computer developments.

The article analyzes the latest digitalization processes in the aspect of digital institutialization, covering various levels of the modern world economy - from global to national. The purpose of the article is, based on an analysis of the practice of introducing digital institutialization at various levels, to identify their features and comply them with the modern requirements for the development of the world economy and the system of international finance. The scientific novelty of the study lies, firstly, in considering the direction (digital institutialization) that has not been sufficiently studied in the economic studies, and secondly, in analyzing and identifying patterns based on the latest statistical data and the latest regulatory changes. Despite some characteristic features inherent to them in general, there is an increase in digitalization processes, primarily with the participation of fintech companies, as well as with the support of regulatory bodies. Analyzing their course, the author comes to the conclusion about the growing stimulation of the use of digital currencies in the form of a stablecoin, supported by the Bank for International Settlements and the G7 - at the global level, and by the relevant institutions of state regulation - at the regional and national levels.

Construction industry is a main industry in national economy, Chinese construction industry has made huge achievement, but the developments between different provinces in China are imbalanced. To compare the different efficiencies between them, data envelopment analysis and an important extended means of DEA were introduced, compared and applied in empirical analysis of Chinese construction industry efficiency between different provinces based on statistical data. Then some conclusions and advices were reached in the end.

In an article entitled “Modelling the Economic Growth of anIslamic Economy,”l M. Ramazan Akhtar presented a mathematicalmodel that subjects Allahs attributes to measurement and underminesthe cause of the Islamization of knowledge, which he intended toserve. In his article, there are several flaws, mistakes, and inconsistenciesthat deserve comment and criticism. This paper has examinedcritically Akhtar’s model and found it to be neither informative norpredictive. Before presenting the critique, however, I would like tocomment on some of the general weaknesses of the article. In the opening paragraph (p. 491), Akhtar says: “Growth dependson several factors, among them a consistent increase in the amount ofphysical goods and services produced over a given period of time. This is usually taken as an index of economic growth.” Although economicgrowth is defined and measured by the increase in the amountof goods and services produced over a given period of time, it doesnot imply that the former depends on the latter. There is no cause andeffect relationship between the two.In his “Review of the Literature” (p. 492), Akhtar makes a generalstatement that Muslim economists use the terms “economic growth”and “economic development” interchangeably. The economic literaturethat has been produced since the early 1960s makes a clear distinctionbetween these two terms and views economic growth as anecessary, but not a sufficient, condition for economic development(Clower 1966). Most Muslim economists hold this mainstream view.If there are still some using the terms interchangeably, they are theexceptions. In the second paragraph on page 495, Akhtar gives an Englishtranslation of Qur’an 39:9. In fact, this is a translation of 41:10-aserious mistake and not a typographical error. The last paragraph on page 491 reads: “The hypothesis is examinedtheoretically because statistical data for empirical analysis is not available.”But at the end of this paragraph, he asserts: “Analytical resultsshow that moral factors make a positive contribution to both income ...

Using statistical data from year 2003 to 2011, this paper computes the location quotient and cluster scale of Jiangsu textiles industry, which shows a remarkable cluster tendency. Unit root test and Granger cause-effect test show that in the short run, neither did Jiangsu textiles export has a remarkable positive impact on enhancing Jiangsu textiles cluster, nor did Jiangsu textiles cluster has a remarkable positive impact on enhancing Jiangsu textiles. And impulse response ascertains a long and dynamic relationship between them.

A characterizing property of the generalized gamma distribution based on a conditional distribution has been studied in this work following a similar approach presented by Patil and Seshadri (1964). As a particular case a characterization of the Weibull distribution has alse been covered.

This research seeks to understand which skills entrepreneurs in the different STEAM disciplines are using in their careers and if these skills differ from those being used by workers who major in STEAM fields but do not become entrepreneurs. The empirical analysis uses a large sample of more than 99,000 people from the restricted use National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Scientists and Engineers Statistical Data System (SESTAT). This work investigates the skills actually being used by entrepreneurs with undergraduate degrees in the STEAM disciplines to better inform what is being taught in the undergraduate classroom and to make sure learning objectives are in line with student career goals. This paper argues the need for more interdisciplinary skills to be taught in STEAM entrepreneurship curriculums.

The paper is based on the revealed domestic publications and analysis of vast publications in the foreign professional periodicals. Internet-based resources, e. g. www-sites of diverse organizations were analyzed, and the data on efficient Russian corporate libraries was identified. The national library studies exclude corporate libraries from the traditional official library typology. The national classification system (Library Bibliographic Classification, LBC) as well, does not envisage typology for the corporate libraries. The author does not possess statistical data. Some experts relate the concept to “corporations”, others see the corporate libraries as former “technical” (sectoral, industrial) libraries. However, the analysis findings demonstrate that this term can be primarily related to the concept of “corporate culture”. The corporate libraries make part of corporations, financial and trade companies, banks, foundations, joint-stock companies, etc. The prerequisites of extensive uprise of these libraries in Russia emerged in 1990s. The few publications on the topic are discussed along with the information available from Internet resources. The author concludes that the corporate libraries belong to special libraries, and within the latter group, the corporate libraries should be separated. Both state-funded and non-government organizations have got the libraries within their structure. The author attempts to formulate the definition for the new type of libraries, examines their functions and characteristic features, staff and users. The examples of the place of these libraries within the organizational structure are provided.
