Summary. Introduction. The article shows that hu-manity is experiencing a global crisis that affects and will probably affect not only our educational system, but also our economics, politics and culture. It is stressed that the education crisis arisen as a result of the unexpected chal-lengesmakes us review andrethink the methods and technologies of the educational process. In these condi-tions, in the society, there is a need to learn this changing reality creatively and flexibly, to rethink ideas and the acquired knowledge. The problem of technologization in the field of higher pedagogical education is shown to be associated with the extensive use of innovations including distance learning technology that increases the motivation of both a teacher and students. Distance learning provides new opportuni-ties for self-expression, encouraging students to work independently and forms an information culture in them, allows them to choose their own rhythm of life, creates the conditions of digital content for educational programmes. However, this learning technology requires more self-organization than traditional one. The purpose of the article is to analyze the organiza-tion of learning process in the conditions of digital content that allows students to learn theoretical material as inde-pendently as possibleand to leave contact time for the latest knowledge, practical tasks, laboratory workshops and subject discussions. The methods of analysis, synthesis, and comparison are used in the article. Results. It was investigated that along with the pro-fessional competence of a teacher, there is a creative one. This competence is characterized with an openness to innovations and new technologies at the professional level, flexibility and creative adaptability in the process of interaction with learning subjects. Creative learning activity is found to focus on the for-mation of a creative educational project by a studentbut the main focus of the creative activity is a creative per-sonality having the specific features, qualities and proper-ties. It has been found that teachers organize learning process with higher education students through the GoogleMeet, GoogleDuo, Zoom, JitsiMeet programs and other on-line platforms. In particular, this form of distance learning allows not only to conduct classes, but also to organize other educational activities.Originality. The article proves that the basic tools of individualized learning, laid in a relatively new direction, called “neuropedagogics”, which integrates neuroscience, psychology and pedagogy (didactics) and combines the scientific achievements of modern Brain Sciences. It has been proved that students’ individual work in the digital context regardless of their desire gets andragogic shade. There is a convergence of traditional methods of organiz-ing the educational process with andragogy, formal edu-cation with non-formal.In this context, students also acquire the skills of lifelong learning acting as an idea, principles of learning, quality of the educational process, the condition of formation and development of a man in the modern cultural and educational context.

Purpose of study. In the situation of the coronavirus pandemic, distance learning technologies have become the only way to organize the educational process. The transition to distance learning required both adaptation of the content, tools and methods of teaching to the new conditions, and adaptation on the part of students, in particular, it demanded from them to be much more independent and responsible, as well as the ability to effectively use their time. In this connection, the aim of the study was to analyze how the technology of blended learning allows students to better adapt to the conditions of distance learning.Materials and methods. The author considered the following as the main indicators of students’ adaptation to distance learning: 1) actual results of learning activities; 2) the degree of students’ satisfaction with the results of their learning activity; 3) self-assessment of readiness to use ICT tools in learning process, development of independent work and self-organization skills, self-report on the psychological state. The analysis of pedagogical literature on blended learning made it possible to identify a number of important principles which the learning process should be based on in the flipped classroom model, the analysis of which, in turn, showed that they fully correspond with the principles of distance learning. All this suggests that blended learning as a component of full-time instruction, implemented from the first term when teaching English as an academic discipline, should help students better adapt to the conditions of distance learning. To confirm this hypothesis, an analysis and comparison of the results of learning activities in the conditions of blended and distance learning, as well as a questionnaire of students were conducted.Results. Comparison of the current and final performance in English as an academic subject in the conditions of blended and distance learning did not reveal any significant changes. Survey analysis showed that the transition to distance learning was a challenge for most students and demanded from them to make significant efforts  to adapt, which was manifested in a decreased level of satisfaction with the results of their learning activities in general, an increased level of anxiety, as well as highlighting a number of difficulties that they had to face. However, a comparison of data obtained on the discipline “English language”, where training was initially built on the flipped classroom model, and data on distance learning in general allows the author to conclude that the technology of blended learning makes it possible to reduce a number of difficulties, in particular, technical difficulties when switching to distance learning, and the indicator of satisfaction with the results of their learning activities shows that the flipped classroom model allows students to more fully realize their abilities and achieve the desired results not only in the conditions of blended learning, but also when switching to distance one.Conclusion. The analysis made it possible to show a significant potential of blended learning in the conditions of introducing information technologies in education. At the same time, it is necessary to keep in mind the importance of pedagogical support in the context of e-learning.

The article is devoted to innovative postmodern requests for the liberalization of education. Postmodernism influenced education not only methodologically, but also by changing the very pedagogical culture of teaching. Now the relevance of the research topic is due to the problems of forming information content and methodological support for the introduction of distance learning technology in mobile form. The introduction of IT in education, the improvement of smart devices, the formation of an electronic information and educational environment have created the basis for such forms of education as mobile learning and blended learning. In both cases, the student situationally himself forms the educational process, turns from an object of training into its subject. The humanistic potential of mobile learning in the sense of ensuring equal access to education for people with different abilities is noted. The opinion is expressed about the importance of student motivation and IT competence of teachers to provide information content, intensify the introduction of e-learning and mobile-oriented learning technologies. It is argued that learning based only on mobile learning technology, using smart devices without classroom or office work, real communication with the teacher is not didactically self-sufficient, which would provide adequate language skills. Effectiveness in learning foreign languages is achieved by synergy of technologies distance mobile and traditional classroom or classroom training, real communication with the teacher.

The work considered a system of knowledge control of the Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University. It was shown that the quality of higher education depends mainly on the level of student training, the qualifications of teaching staff, the organization of the learning process, the efficiency of monitoring the quality of the education, and also factors allowing to improve the quality of education in the university. Assessment of the knowledge quality received by the students in the "Chemistry" discipline was carried out among the students of the Automobile Faculty of the KHNADU, entered the first year of the Bachelor of full-time education, during 2014/15–2018/19 academic years. The control was carried out with the help of traditional pedagogical practice types – the main (preliminary, final, and control of residual knowledge) and periodical (current and thematic knowledge tests). Statistical research on the performance of the main types of students' knowledge control, as more significant, shows that the important part of educational activity in university is an effective organization of its control. It was established that main principles of the control of students’ knowledge received during learning subject are the regularity and systematical conduct, the objectivity of assessment of the level of students' skills, the ability to identify the actual level of learning educational materials by the students, the timeliness of identification of the gaps in the learning process by the teacher and applying ways to overcome them. The internal and external factors affecting the performance of students during studying the "Chemistry" discipline have been distinguished. The internal factors are the knowledge level before entering the university and the motivation for learning the subject. The external are an organization of the educational process, self-organization of student learning activity, teaching methods and forms and professionalism of the educator, quality of additional services (holding consultations and individual lessons), educator-student relationship. It was identified that during studying the "Chemistry" discipline, the influence of the factors that students had before entering the university is weakened, and the external factors, which appeared in the process of studying in university, have a significant impact.

Distance education is essentially the basis for the development of educational institutions that provide innovative services, which cannot be obtained elsewhere. It is believed that distance education is a substitute for the traditional as part of simplifying and cheapening the learning process. At the same time, the leading global trends suggest the need for the development of elements of self-education and the expansion of the geographical nature of educational offers. The relevance of the study is that it is necessary to distinguish between the use of distance education methods in the traditional sphere and the sphere of training professionals. The paper presents the concept of the need to integrate elements of distance education in the process of preparing university teachers. The authors believe that teachers in drawing up courses and applying learning technologies use the same techniques as in distance learning. Therefore, the use of distance learning technologies can be shown as the basis for the development of advanced training programs and additional professional education. The authors proposed a study on the need and sufficiency of the use of distance education technologies and the possibilities for their integration into the process of postgraduate education. The practical significance of the work is determined by the fact that the possibilities of self-development of teachers are fully disclosed, not only as subjects of the educational process but also as subjects of training.

Distance learning is the process of acquiring knowledge, abilities, skills and methods of human cognitive activity, it occurs mainly through the indirect interaction of participants in the educational process distant from each other in a specialized environment, it functions on the basis of modern psychological, pedagogical and information and communication technologies. In today’s world, distance learning is a must. This was shown by the existing COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of our work was to present teaching methods at the Department of Orthodontics of the Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy and to determine the advantages and disadvantages of distance education. To present theoretical and practically oriented content, organize independent work and control knowledge during quarantine, the possibilities of distance learning were used using the Google Classroom web service and using the ZOOM platform, Google-meet, which made it possible to use video, photographic materials, tables, control and diagnostic models, panoramic and other images, orthodontic appliances, orthodontic instruments. Distance learning technology is flexible than traditional. This is its advantage. It is aimed at those who study, creates a comfortable environment for the applicant for higher education to master the material 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Distance learning allows you to move away from the traditional system of teaching educational material. However, this teaching methodology requires a high level of teacher training. The teacher must have modern pedagogical and information technologies and be psychologically ready to work with applicants for education in a new educational and cognitive environment. The distance form of education must correspond to the methods of teaching in higher medical school. So, the material and technical clinical base of the Department of Orthodontics of the UMCA allows you to provide high-quality online training. But the spread of COVID-19 leads to day-to-day changes in all spheres of life, including healthcare, and the education system.

The spread of novel Corona Virus and the resulting Covid-19 Pandemic has had a profound impact in our lives and most of daily activities have been upset. Negative effects crushed education and all around the world schools, universities and tertiary institutions had to shut down moving to Distance Learning. Distance Learning was in fact the global answer to continue educational activities and preserve students’ right to education. The United Nations Organization for Culture and Education (UNESCO) reports that ten months after rising pandemic, more than 331 million students worldwide are affected by the Pandemic and in 28 countries the schools are still closed (updated 09.12.2020). During the months of the first contagion curve, only 15% of teaching activities were delivered remotely, globally, thanks to Distance Learning. More than 1.5 billion students worldwide are or have been touched by the closure of schools and universities due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Teachers and instructors world-wide had to find the best solution to fix the pedagogical challenge. For this reason, teaching strategies, methods and materials have been adapted to the online learning environment. Distance Learning refers to an electronic learning environment; generally, it is used if time and/or geographic conditions do not allow a direct contact between educators and students (King, Young, Drivere-Richmond & Schrader, 2001). UNESCO (2002) asserts that Distance Learning includes learning process carried out separately in time and space, through artificial electronic or print media; this holds also for a part of the educational process. Distance Learning requires specific evaluation procedures throughout qualitative and quantitative methodologies, focusing the performance assessment and the learning process (Benigno & Trentin, 1999). This article is a part of a wider research that wants to investigate the students’ experience about online Laboratory classes during Pandemic crisis. Based on a quantitative, non- experimental and ex-post-facto research, this article specifically investigates the strategies used during remote Labs students attended during the sanitary emergency. Data was collected through a no-tested research survey administered with an online free app. A voluntary response sample from 749 Single-cycle Primary Teacher Education students, from first year course to the fifth, attending university in one of the most important athenaeums in Southern Italy, at the end of their last second semester. Results from the closed-response questions show the use of a variety of strategies whose effectiveness should be assessed based on empirical evidence.

Most of the educational institutions in Ukraine were forced to switch to distance learning, which is why there arose the question about the availability of technical means to ensure the fullness of educational process. The article investigates modern systems of testing students' knowledge in the process of distance education. Currently, there are quite a few LMS (learning management systems) that can optimize the learning process of distance education. The works of scientists related to the problems of organizing effective learning and the complexity of the transition to distance learning are considered. This article assumes the method of testing not on-ly as a tool to assess the level and quality of learning, but also as a means to obtain recommen-dations for improving the learning process in the whole. Based on the results of the analysis, a comparative description was created and an assessment of the suitability for intermediate control of knowledge of primary and secondary school students, the most common at this stage of school distance learning online knowledge testing tools. Thus the advantages and disad-vantages of these tools are revealed. As a consequence the most universal systems that can fully provide the learning process in terms of distance education and the most convenient tools for assessing knowledge are identified.

One of the important areas that has undergone significant changes due to the epidemic and the quarantine measures caused by it is education. The need to quickly change the forms of conducting classes has become a real test for teachers of performing disciplines of a sports profile, and prompted them to search and experiment in the use of information technologies and technical means in the educational process. Since sports education in general and the teaching of academic disciplines that form sports skills have their own specific differences, the use of information technologies in this area has caused a number of problems that require separate detailed consideration. Distance learning has become mainstream in the context of global quarantine. Therefore, this problem inspired the consideration in the article of such issues as the methodology for preparing and conducting practical classes, as well as the use of information technologies and technical means such as video products, multimedia presentations, encyclopedias, simulators and games that are used in the educational process of students and will help it. improvement. The use of these technical means and information technologies contributes to the improvement of education in conditions of quarantine restrictions, as well as to the improvement of the perception of information through new technologies, methods and means. With the use of information technologies, students become more clear about the material of the disciplines of a sports profile.

The paper discusses the importance of distance learning within university education. This issue stems from lifelong learning perspective, relating to social factors as emigration, demographic situation and competitiveness in the labour market. Distance learning is one of the possible solutions to acquire education to working people or those who live in remote locations. The main focus of our research was on learning quality and students’ satisfaction based on the case study of distance learning mode application. The research sample was composed of 126 part-time students who participated in the distance course organized as a part of university education. The case study of a distance course presented in this paper and survey findings revealed the study participants’ positive approach to distance learning in the university educational process. New technologies and their resulting opportunities for learners to interact with each other and with teachers, provision of guidance and logically structured material created preconditions for students’ satisfaction. Therefore, we assume that development of distance learning courses, constructivist learning environment with its inherent creative approach to learning provision can bring solutions to many social and educational issues, such as big emigration flows of young population, better employment opportunities and selfrealisation of young adults.
