The article considers some current scientific approaches to assessing regional economic security and notes the lack of an innovative component in them. However, innovative factors are necessary, since one of the main directions in the field of economic security is innovative development. The purpose of the research is to develop and test a modified methodological approach to the formation of indicators for assessing regional economic security, taking into account innovative factors. The authors generated extremely modified approach to assessing the economic security of the region, taking into account such principles as: task orientation, comprehensiveness, comparability, sufficiency, information security, applicability in practice. The authors developed an algorithm for studying the economic security of the region, formed a system for assessing the economic security of the region taking into account innovative factors, and calculated threshold values and evaluated a sample of regions according to the described methodology. As a result, it is concluded that the regions are diverse in terms of economic security and actually correspond to the conditional division in terms of socio-economic and innovative development. The most vulnerable for the majority of the subjects of the Russian Federation considered was the innovation component, the threshold value of which should have been determined in the stability zone, but most of the regions did not pass. Thus, it is necessary to study this topic in detail, namely, to assess the functioning of the regional innovation infrastructure and its impact on the economic security of the region due to the fact that the creation of conditions provided by its activities is one of the main strategic directions for strengthening the economic security not only of the region, but also of the Russian Federation as a whole.

Objective: The article's objective is to develop scientific and methodical grounds to assess the green project within the advanced innovative development concept to deliver EU Environmental policy.Research Design & Methods: The most relevant for our aim are the sustainable development concept and the advanced innovative development concept. We used a broad literature review.Findings: The proposed approach is derived from the sustainable development concept and the advanced innovative development concept. It includes four types of projects: green projects, environmentally destructive projects, environmentally neutral projects, mixed ones. The sustainability index, recilience inxex, risks, including country risk, is calculated to enhance assessment accuracy.Implications & Recommendations: theoretical and methodic approach, improved by authors, to control innovative activity ecologization, based on EECI forecasts, allows stakeholders to reduce a risk of the innovative project and increase the assessment accuracy at its starting stages, enabling the increase of the strategic managerial decisions quality and, thereby, the environmental and economic security of stakeholders.Contribution & Value Added: The connection of three perspectives – economic, environmental and social – will capture the complexities of project management-oriented to advanced innovative development within the concept of sustainable development.

Topicality. The urgency of our research is due to the fact that business security management creates a basis for innovative development of entrepreneurship. Ensuring economic security is a factor of innovative development of entrepreneurship, of advanced business management techniques using, of business efficiency increasing, and the world's production quality standards achieving. Aim and tasks. The main purpose of the research is to develop theoretical and scientific-methodological statements for improving the business security management as a part of the process of innovative development of entrepreneurship in the context of ensuring the protection of all systems of the business entity from destructive influences, both internal and external factors, threats and dangers. Research results. The idea is substantiated that business security management is designed to promote the continuity of the process of identifying critical, in terms of innovative development, assets and possible threats to these assets, as well as reducing any vulnerabilities through careful analysis and implementation of effective countermeasures to achieve an optimal level of protection of critical assets. It is established that regardless of the type of organization, in the assessment of existing threats and dangers to the innovative development of entrepreneurship should be indicated: firstly, which critical assets of the business entity need protection; secondly, what type of information and what means are needed to protect each asset; finely, how the loss, damage, or destruction of a critical asset will affect the innovative development of the business entity and its mission. The results indicate that the business security management should include: firstly, assessment of threats and dangers to innovative business development; secondly, vulnerability assessment and risk assessment, which allow decision-makers to ensure the economic security of business activities, to give priority to asset protection protocols; and finally, specific recommendations on how to block opportunities for enemy attacks and how to protect specific assets in terms of innovative development. Conclusion. The results of the study allowed us to conclude that in the context of innovative development the business security management is the key to the long-term existence of economic entities and the formation of competitive advantages of their products in the market of goods and services. Business security management helps to eliminate additional threats and dangers that may be associated with innovative business development. Thus, only effective management of business security can guarantee the protection of all the business entity systems from destructive influences, both internal and external factors, to prevent and eliminate threats, contributing to the continuity of innovative development.

The article is devoted to the study of the influence of the development of innovations on the economic security of the regions. Based on the assumption that innovative development plays a key role in the process of ensuring the economic security of the region, the authors proposed a system of indicators for assessing the innovative component of the economic security of the region, including the indicators of economic security reflected in the Decree «On the Strategy of Economic Security of the Russian Federation for the Period up to 2030». The impact of innovations is realized through the achievement of the goals of ensuring the country's security, among which is the dynamic and progressive development of the economy. The authors proposed a methodology for assessing the innovative component of economic security based on the scoring method, developed an assessment scale for interpreting the results of calculations, assessed the innovative security of regional economic systems of the Federal Districts of Russia for the period 2015–2019. As a result of the analysis, factors were identified that hinder innovative development and negatively affect the provision of economic security at the regional level: underdevelopment, low efficiency of the innovation infrastructure, reduction of internal costs for research and development, a decrease in the number of developed advanced production technologies, and others. It has been established that the economic security of a region depends on its ability to perceive innovations, while institutional factors have a significant impact on the pace of development. The work has improved the methodological tools for diagnosing the innovative security of the regions of the Russian Federation by optimizing the system of criteria for its assessment. The results of the empirical studies carried out confirmed the possibility of practical use of the developed methodology for diagnosing the innovative security of the regions of the Russian Federation and identifying priority areas for its improvement.

In a dynamically developing world space, the issues of economic security of enterprises are very relevant. Today, in the Ukrainian realities, service enterprises have to work in an uncertain and unstable market environment. The difficulties of the Ukrainian economy are manifested in a decrease in both production volumes and the quality characteristics of the products offered. Competitiveness is becoming a determining factor in ensuring the economic security of the economic system and its sustainable development. The transition to an innovative development model is not only a state task, but also a real, objectively existing need for any enterprise operating in a market economy. For an enterprise that wants not only to maintain its position in the market, but also to strengthen it, it is necessary to introduce innovative approaches in all areas of production and economic activity. One of the main threats in modern conditions of the functioning of economic entities of economic security of an enterprise is low innovation activity. This is due to the use of outdated technologies, imperfect methods and forms of organization of production and management, the lack of approved mechanisms of innovation, an ineffective scheme of interaction between scientific institutions and innovative structures, etc. financial, personnel, material and technical, informational, etc.). However, in order for these resources to be focused on the implementation of specific innovative technologies, it is necessary that the enterprise be able to effectively use these resources. This ability can be provided at the state level through organizational and managerial influence. Consequently, it is necessary to form an economic mechanism for increasing the innovative activity of enterprises in the real sector of the economy. Thus, today the innovative orientation of enterprises is a key instrument of their competitiveness and economic security. To increase the level of economic security of an enterprise, it is necessary to apply an innovative development strategy, which will allow to form and strengthen business relations, take advantageous market positions and increase the level of business activity of the enterprise. The company's innovative strategy should be aimed, first of all, at the production of competitive services (products), increasing production efficiency, carrying out correct sales activities, obtaining high profits and forming an insurance reserve, the presence of which is a mandatory factor in the company's economic security.

The article considers the regulation of economic security of the agricultural production as a complexintegrated element of the general system of innovative development of agricultural production at all levels ofits regulation, and provides for the implementation of appropriate measures (organizational-technological,preventive, propaganda, controlling, protective) that are used to counteract the negative impact on the economic security of agricultural production. In this connection, the strategic objectives of regulating the economic security of the agricultural production have been identified, which will contribute to the development ofspecific measures to eliminate threats in this area. In modern conditions, the development of the world economic system is due primarily to innovative processes associated with the creation and implementation of advanced advances in science and technology. Therefore, the sphere of innovation has become the most important resource of the state, the efficiency of which determines the dynamics and progressive development of the national economy. In this regard, the intensification of innovative activities of economic entities becomes a necessary condition for the realization of national interests in the economic security of the country. Innovative development of economic entities in the economy is one of the most important processes that ensure its safe integration into the global economic space. In the modern economic literature there are not enough publications devoted to the substantiation of the place and role of innovative development in the process of ensuring economic security. Despite the special attention paid to the issues of economic and national security abroad, studies of this problem in the foreign economic literature have not become widespread. The paper investigates various scientific approaches to determining the essence of innovations and examines their place in the structure of economic security factors of economic entities. Based on the selection of groups of factors that affect economic security, the paper presents its decomposition into relevant areas of security. The study of innovation as a factor of economic security in the article is based on clarifying the content of innovation as an economic category. The paper analyzes two fundamentally different approaches to understanding the essence of innovation: innovation as a result and innovation as a process. To obtain the most complete idea of the essence of innovation, as well as to identify the best conditions for their creation and introduction into economic practice, theoretical approaches to the emergence of innovation are considered. It is determined that in the most general form of the innovation model can be divided into linear and interactive models. The term "innovation" has been clarified and supplemented in terms of ensuring sustainable development, which is based on the environmental imperative of economic development.
