ABSTRACTAn analysis of the concept of the transfer of knowledge, in general, and, in particular, its application to the health system. Three aspects of the transfer of knowledge are analysed: concepts and data; technology and values; and the directions it takes, that is to say centripetally from the cordon of sciences outside the health system itself (or any specific field of knowledge) and centrifugally from this out to the general public. This exchange of knowledge (transfer, transmission, dissemination; all three variants are analysed in the piece) includes, as well as the knowledge itself, values that modify both the nucleus generating knowledge and its recipients. It is necessary, in our so-called communication or information society, to find out and quantify how transfers of knowledge (concepts, data and technology) influence the appearance of values arising from these transfers.RESUMENSe analiza el concepto transferencia de conocimientos en general y en su aplicación particular al sistema sanitario.

The physiology course in our department consists of lectures, laboratory sessions, and tutorials, all of which are teacher centered, as well as student-led seminars. The overall aim of this project was to investigate student perceptions of the value of varying academic activities on their learning of physiology. A faculty-based descriptive study was conducted at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of Alneelain University (Khartoum, Sudan). Questionnaires (150 total) were distributed to students from the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, and Physiotherapy; 127 questionnaires were completed and returned. The results showed that 108 students (85%) believed that their absence from different academic activities could affect their performance. Students perceived lectures as the most valuable academic activity (90.7%), whereas seminars presented by students were perceived as the least important activity (18.5%). There was a significant correlation between lectures attendance and their performance in examinations ( P = 0.008). Ninety percent of the students thought that teacher involvement in tutorials was essential and that lectures were useful to understand certain topics. These results showed that in our course, students perceived teacher involvement as a key component of the educational process.

ABSTRACT: Much needed services & resources for the progression of a business are presented by Business Incubation Centers (BIC) for beginner incubates. A successful business incubate would contribute positively in the region by forming original technologies and reducing unemployment(1, 2). The set up of Business Incubation Centers (BICs) is supported by Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan which offers related services for young incubates, contributing to successful and freestanding companies in the country(3). The objectives is to encourage self-employment among the young, commercializing research originating from universities(4), creating alliance between Industry and Academia, & contributing to economic growth by employing & forming viable firms(2). HEC has established thirty business incubation centers in public sector universities of major cities in Pakistan. Among the thirty universities, BICs have been set up in two universities related to medicine and allied health sciences namely Khyber Medical University Peshawar and Dow University of Health Sciences Karachi. The focus of this paper is to highlight this under studied area and center of attention are the startup incubates from health industry. Many ground-breaking inventive projects enlisted on HEC’s website are available for commercialization of research, all originating from engineering and technology, none of which stems from medical universities. Although integrating medicine with technology would positively impact the society many fold yet it appears to be a ground unfamiliar by medical faculty(5) Assessing comments of medical faculty confirms their estrangement regarding BIC(2). There is a lack of knowledge among the faculty concerning BIC; much work has to be done in encouraging medical faculty which will result in positive contributions. Informal surveys and observations that we conducted further illustrate the aforementioned point and confirm inadequate knowledge of faculty and students regarding BICs, their objectives and purpose of formation. BIC in health industry appear to be a foreign ground passing unnoticed by faculty today. One can find many startups emerging in the field of health worldwide from internet sources.(6) In Pakistan many innovative business projects originating from the fields of IT, environmental sciences, agriculture, engineering technology etc have been registered by HEC and are ready for commercialization. Khyber Medical University Business Incubation Center KUBIC is providing an effective platform interconnecting commercial industries and investors inviting multiple incubates across the province to bring forth innovative ideas in the field of health. The future of business incubation appears bright as there are rich opportunities of research today despite the challenges they face as analyzed by past three decades of emerging practice. 5

Dysmenorrhea is often occurred at the beginning of menstruation, especially in adolescents. If left untreated, pain experienced by adolescents with primary dysmenorrhea could lead to serious problems that ultimately require health services and could also reduce quality of reproductive health and general body health. The aim of gymnastics activity is to improve the reproductive health of adolescent women through the provision of dysmenorrhea gymnastics education. The activity was divided into 2 sessions, lecture and practice. The first session were explanations, questions and answers about the menstrual cycle, dysmenorrhoea and how to prevent or treat dysmenorrhoea pain using dysmenorrhea gymnastics. The second one was gymnastics practice in the same time between community service team and all of the participants, where the service team was divided as gymnastics instructor and the others as facilitator who correct participants' exercise movements that were not right. This activity was carried out on young women at the PSBR dormitory in Blitar City. Implementation was in the March 2021 and followed by 35 teenagers. The results of this activity indicated that all of the participants were able to follow and carry out activities that have been planned properly. Dysmenorrhea gymnastics were an easy, cheap and safe way to reduce and prevent dysmenorrhea pain so that it could be an independent dysmenorrhea therapeutics option for adolescents, especially teenagers in the PSBR dormitory in Blitar City.

Abstract Background: Adolescents and youth (young people) are central to the success of the 2030 agenda. Sexual and reproductive health (SRH) knowledge among young people is critical for their well-being. The objective study was to assess and analyze publications on SHR knowledge among young people. Method: This study was a bibliometric descriptive one for publications retrieved from Scopus on SHR knowledge among young people. All relevant terms on young people, SHR, and knowledge were implemented to retrieve relevant publications for the study period from 1900 to 2019. Results: The search found 2544 publications. Publication started on 1951. The number of publications showed two steep phases: one in mid-1980s and one after 2005. Four research themes were identified: human immunodeficiency virus (HIV); human papillomavirus (HPV), condom, and contraception with documents on HPV vaccinations being the most recent. The retrieved publications received an average of 10.9 citations per document and an h -index of 61. The top cited documents published before 2010 focused mainly on HIV, HPV, and condom use while those after 2010 focused on HIV testing technology, HIV prophylaxis and HPV vaccination. The retrieved documents originated mainly from the region of the Americas (n=944). When data were normalized, the South-Eastern Asian region had the highest research activity. At the country level, the USA ranked first (n=701; 27.6%) but when data was normalized, India (91.5 publication per GDP per capita) ranked first followed by Nigeria (53.0) and South Africa (17.9). Journal of Adolescent Health (n=39; 1.5%) ranked first but documents published in AIDS Education and Prevention journal received the highest number of citations per document (34.1). The University of California, San Francisco ranked first (n=33; 1.3%) in this field. The average number of authors per publication was 3.8. Research networking in this field was poor. Conclusion: This was the first analysis of publications on SRH knowledge among a category of people who are most often neglected in their SRH needs. Research on knowledge and awareness on this subject need to be carried out in all world regions to tailor sex education and health policies to the sociocultural and religious situation in each country.

Public relations practitioners play a central role in the construction and maintenance of discourse. Through the use of specialised techniques and strategies, texts are designed so that they have the power to mean something. Australia was one of the first countries to roll out a national HPV vaccination program for schoolgirls. However, research indicated that parents lack knowledge about HPV and HPV vaccination. This paper reports on a discourse analysis of the brochure: “Questions and Answers (Q&A) about HPV Vaccination Program: A prevention strategy for cervical cancer”. This brochure is given to parents prior to vaccination and as such is a primary source of information about HPV for these audiences. The research strove to answer the question: What are the discourses contained in the information given to parents about the NSW HPV school vaccination program? A critical discourse analysis of the Q&A brochure found a discourse of the risk of cancer, supported by a discourse that HPV is sexually transmitted. The findings should provide an avenue to further research the role, motivations and techniques of public relations practitioners working as discourse technologists and in whose interests such discourses operate.
