Rattan commodity in Padang city, including commodity most likely to be developed. With its potential industrial development aimed at strengthening competitiveness through competitive advantages. The strategy used to develop the small industry rattan in Padang city in order to have a competitive edge is SWOT analysis and using the right strategy for businesses rattan industry. The object of research is small rattan Industry, located in Tanah Sirah Kelurahan Pitameh Kecamatan Lubuk Begalung Kota PadangTanah Sirah Kelurahan Pitameh Kecamatan Lubuk Begalung Kota Padang and institutions related. This study uses primary data, field observations, interviews and questionnaires, and secondary data obtained through agencies associated with the research. The analysis was performed by using a SWOT analysis. The result is obtained that rattan industry Padang from the internal side of strength greater than weakness, while on the external side of the existing opportunities greater than the treatness. Rattan industry Padang city were the first quadrant which means that this position indicates that the rattan industry in the city of Padang strong and likely to grow. This research aims to formulate internal and external strategy in developing Dodol Salak agroindustry in Pangu One Village. The study was conducted from March to May 2017 from preparation to the preparation of research reports. The data obtained in this research includes primary and secondary data. Primary data collection was done by interview technique to the respondent while secondary data was obtained by searching in the form of documents from related institution, seminar papers, This study used primary data and secondary data, with literature relevant to the research topic. The analysis used in this research is by using SWOT Analysis method. The results of this study indicate that the right strategy for the development of dolcol agroindustry in Pangu Satu Village, Ratahan Sub-district is to apply aggressive strategy, that is by creating creating process sorting of raw materials and better production equipment and utilizing manpower to produce superior product; through the process of sorting out the selection of good raw materials to increase revenue; companies use products that are free from preservatives and dyes to increase public interest in refined products; improve the process of sorting raw materials and the quality of health products to be more able to compete with existing companies; cooperate not only with one supplier (farmer); increase capital through related institutions such as Bank or other agencies; conducting human resource training to improve the company's work processes and increase opportunities for employers to create new jobs and reduce unemployment; increase capital income to prevent piracy of labor and utilize capital for infrastructure activities and transportation facilities.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to determine the marketing strategy, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to the natural tourism of Lake Dendam Tak Sudah, Bengkulu City in order to increase tourist visits. Based on the natural tourist attraction, this research was conducted in the tourist attraction of Danau Dendam Tak Sudah, Bengkulu City. The methods used in this research are interviews, documentation, and observation. Sources of data used are secondary data and primary data. The data collection technique in this study was accidental sampling with a qualitative descriptive analysis method. Then the data were analyzed using SWOT analysis to determine the factors inhibiting the lack of tourists visiting Dendan Tak Sudah Lake natural attractions in Bengkulu City. Based on the results of the study and discussion, it can be concluded that the area has enormous opportunities and strengths in the form of a very beautiful and exotic tourism potential, located in the middle of the city but with minimal facilities and infrastructure, public facilities. , promotion and management roles are not maximal in structuring so that tourists who come are still very minimal.Keywords                    : Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT)Correspondence to      : [email protected] ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi pemasaran, kekuatan , kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman terhadap wisata alam Danau Dendam Tak Sudah Kota Bengkulu dalam rangka meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dan data primer. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah secara accidental sampling dengan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif, Kemudian data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menjadi penghambat kurangnya wisatawan berkunjung ke wisata alam Danau Dendan Tak Sudah di Kota Bengkulu. Berdasarkan hasil kajian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa daerah tersebut memiliki peluang dan kekuatan yang sangat besar berupa potensi wisata yang sangat indah dan eksotis, terletak di tengah kota namun minim sarana dan prasarana, fasilitas umum, promosi dan pernanan manajemen kurang maksimal dalam penataan sehingga wisatawan yang datang masih sangat minim.Kata Kunci: Kekuatan, Kelemahan, Peluang, dan Ancaman (SWOT)

This study aims to find out how the development strategy of Lembang Dano situ in Village of Cipada, and to get the right strategy for the development of Lembang Dano tourist attractions. The data has taken of primary data and secondary data, where primary data is obtained from questionnaires and interviews to predetermined sources and secondary data obtained from agencies and agencies related to this study. The analytical tool used the SWOT analysis method the results of the research show that the development strategy needs to first determine the factors that are strengths and weaknesses (internal environment) ourism potential in Lembang Dano Cipada Village, then combines with the opportunities and threats from outside (external environment). This study aims to determine and analyze the presence and position of meatballs effort based on SWOT analysis and determine the right marketing strategy for your business based on the results of SWOT analysis meatballs. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. The data used is qualitative data with the use of primary data and secondary data sources. The data collection is done by the method, triangulation namely, observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed by using analysis SWOT checking the validity of the findings to confirm the data of the study subjects. The findings are based on analysis of business meatballs SWOT have factored into strengths, namely cow wearing original raw materials, the processing is done by the business owner so that the owner can control according to the standards set. Meatball business opportunities are increasing as the holiday sales increase in class and Idul Fitri, and has a loyal customer. Threats to business meatballs are many competitors with a similar business, price competition, rising raw material products, differentiation of products made by competitors.

The only tourism attraction with waterfall based located closest to the center of Padang city administration.isPemandianLubukTampuruang. This attraction is still natural, had not been built and managed by local government as well as the private sector in the Belimbing sub district, The district of Belimbing, Padang,West Sumatra province. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to formulate appropriate policies to be applied in the development of tourism attractions that can improve Micro, Small, Medium EnterpriseS (UMKM) in the area. This research employed SWOT analysis, by analyzing the strengths and weaknesses (internal), opportunities and threats (external) in the tourism object Pemandian LubukTampuruang. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Based on this research, its main strength is that it is the only waterfall tourist attraction in the city that is easy to be reached, while the weakness is inadequate infrastructure.The opportunitiesof this attraction is it has the potential to be a good quality tourism attraction while the threats to be anticipated is a sudden natural disaster that would have a negative impact and impede the development of the attraction. Suggested strategy in developing Pemandian LubukTampuruang Baths is SO strategy (Strengths Opportunitis) which is a strategy to maximize the existing strengths in the location to seize opportunities that will make this attraction even better than before.

This requires an organization to be able to compete by always paying attention to the user's condition. Development strategy is one way to find out competitiveness in each of its power lines. To deal with user competition, especially in the face of global users, an organization must be able to establish a method as the basic foundation for the formulation of development strategies by increasing the value of competitiveness for its output or services. This strategy needs to be involved using the SWOT method as the main method to increase output, internal and external factors become the initial steps to carry out strategies to optimize business to achieve success. The use of an effective SWOT analysis can play an important role in determining the development strategy, in order to know the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats faced by the company in maintaining the survival and continuity of the organization. The problem that the answer in this research is looking for is whether the SWOT analysis is the right strategy to increase output in the organization and how the development strategy applied by the organization in overcoming global friendships. In connection with these problems the following hypothesis is proposed: It is suspected that using a SWOT analysis can increase output so that the organization experiences a profit (surplus). This study uses primary data by providing questionnaires and secondary data to obtain archives or documents. In line with the problem and the research hypothesis, this study was conducted using the IFAS analysis method to analyze internal factors, EFAS analysis for external factors, then, included in the quantitative model, namely the SWOT matrix. The results of the analysis show that, using IFAS and EFAS analysis and using SWOT analysis shows the position of the organization in cell 2, the strategy chosen to support the achievement of the objectives of the organization is ST strategy.Keywords: SWOT, Strategy, Product Marketing, Business.

<p>The purpose of this study is to measure legal protection and employment opportunities for persons with disabilities who work in various companies in the city of Semarang, Central Java. As is known, the right to work for citizens is regulated in Article 27 Paragraph 2 of the 1945 Constitution, which mandates the right of citizens to get a decent job and life. Every citizen has the same rights and the state (government) has regulated these rights in terms of obtaining employment without exception, including persons with disabilities. This study uses a juridical-empirical (non-doctrinal) approach, which examines how employment opportunities and legal protection of persons with disabilities in the city of Semarang, especially in PT. Samwon Clothing Indonesia. Primary data sources were obtained from PT. Samwon Busana Indonesia through interviews, secondary data in the form of legal material. Data Collection Method with Interview and Documentation methods, Data Analysis is done by a descriptive method. The results showed that employment opportunities for workers with disabilities in the city of Semarang, especially in PT Samwon Busana Indonesia had fulfilled one percent of the total employees. The total disability workers at the company are 14 out of a total of 1317 employees. In terms of legal protection, all employees both with disabilities and do not get the same rights and opportunities to be treated fairly. In addition, fulfillment of the rights of workers with disabilities is also fulfilled without discrimination.</p>

Abstract - Culinary diversity in the city of Central Java is storing great potential to be developed as a support service in developing the potential of culinary tourism. Culinary tourism is one alternative in addition to other types of tourism choices such as cultural tourism, nature tourism, and marine tourism, especially artificial tourism. formerly known by tourists who come to the city of Central Java. Tegal City actually stores abundant culinary wealth. However, these culinary items have not been packaged in such a way as to attract tourists. The potential of culinary tourism areas in supporting tourism in the city of Tegal aims to lift the image of food made from the city of Tegal so that it is popular with the community and able to compete with modern food. This study was conducted to analyze the potential of culinary tourism in Central Java and identify problems. problems faced in developing culinary tourism in supporting tourism in Central Java. This research is descriptive research using primary and secondary data. The method of data analysis is qualitative descriptive and SWOT Analysis. In conducting data analysis is done by collecting secondary data as well as primary data. Secondary data was obtained from the Tegal city government. Tegal City Tourism Office and Central Bureau of Statistics. Primary data is obtained by interviewing directly with traders or businessmen of typical culinary food stalls in Central Java. Akan tetapi kuliner-kuliner tersebut belum dikemas sedemikian rupa untuk menarik minat wisatawan. Potensi kawasan wisata kuliner dalam mendukung pariwisata di kota tegal bertujuan untuk mengangkat citra makanan berbahan dasar pangan kota tegal sehingga banyak digemari oleh masyarakat dan mampu bersaing dengan makanan modern.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis potensi kawasan wisata kuliner di kota Tegal Jawa Tengah dan mengidentifkasi masalah-masalah yang dihadapi dalam mengembangkan wisata kuliner dalam menunjang pariwisata di kota Tegal Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini bersifat penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Metode analisa data adalah deskriptif kualitatif serta menggunakan analisis SWOT.  Dalam melakukan analisa data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data sekunder maupun data primer. Data sekunder diperoleh dari Pemerintah kota Tegal. Dinas Pariwisata Kota Tegal dan Biro Pusat Statistik. Data primer diperoleh dengan mewawancarai langsung dengan para pedagang atau pengusaha warung makanan kuliner khas di kota Tegal Jawa Tengah. Hasil penelitian didapatkan Kota Tegal memiliki banyak kuliner yang dapat dijadikan santapan baik wisatawan yang akan berkunjung ke Kota Tegal, terdapat 27 jenis kuliner yang terdapat di kota Tegal Aset yang dimiliki Tegal antara lain wisata alam, wisata buatan, wisata religi,bumi perkemahan dan taman budaya, wisata kuliner.Kata Kunci : tourism, culinary, kota tegal

In choosing the right competitive advantage strategy to be applied by a business,businessmen need to look at market conditions and assess their position in the market. This can be done by analyzing the business environment, both the external environment and the internal environment, usually called SWOT analysis. The purpose of this research is to formulate the most appropriate competitive strategy for to be applied in the future. In this research the author uses descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through interview, observation and documentation. Primary data collection is done through in-depth interviews with informants in this study, namely including Madina managers, Madina employees, Madina consumers, Madina suppliers and local governments Purbaratu Tasikmalaya. While secondary data is collected through literature studies, research journals and an overview of research objects, the structure and vision and mission of the company obtained directly from the Madina Purbaratu Tasikmalaya minimarket. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive analysis method with SWOT anlysis. From the results of the IFAS and EFAS analysis the company position is in quadrant 1. From the quadran the recommended strategy is an aggressive/progressive strategy. Then from matrix SWOT the right alternative strategy options that can be applied in Madina in the future is the SO strategy by maintaining the company’sstrengths, minimizing weaknesses and avoiding threats seen from the company’s internal and external factors analyzed through the SWOT matrix

The purpose of this study is to find out what factors influence the implementation of the policy and formulate the strategy for implementing the policy. The main data type is primary data and is equipped with secondary data. Data collection methods are used interviews, questionnaires and literature studies. Research analysis used a SWOT analysis tool. Based on the results of the study that internal factors and external factors that influence the strength of internal factors consisting of easily published policies, adequate human resources, policy objectives and clear sanctions for policy violators. The weakness side is that the level of supervision is not optimal, the implementer rejects the policy, the highest retail price level is not right and the policy information has not been clearly conveyed. Whereas the opportunity side of external factors is the ability to increase rice stocks with imports, the government's readiness to fill rice stocks in the market and the public's encouragement to maintain stability in rice price stability. The threat side is the availability of rice from limited farmers, disruption of rice production factors and a long rice distribution chain. The right strategy used today is a defensive strategy. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi implementasi kebijakan tersebut dan merumuskan strategi implementasi kebijakan tersebut. Jenis data utama digunakan data primer dan dilengkapi data sekunder. Metode pengambilan data digunakan wawancara, kuisioner dan studi kepustakaan. Analisis penelitian digunakan alat analisis SWOT. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa faktor internal dan faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi yaitu dari sisi kekuatan pada faktor internal terdiri dari kebijakan mudah dipublikasikan, sumber daya manusia memadai, tujuan kebijakan dan sanksi jelas bagi pelanggar kebijakan. Sisi kelemahan yaitu tingkat pengawasan belum optimal, pelaksana menolak kebijakan, tingkat harga eceran tertinggi belum tepat dan informasi kebijakan belum tersampaikan dengan jelas. Sedangkan sisi peluang dari faktor eksternal yaitu kemampuan menambah persediaan beras dengan impor, kesiapan pemerintah untuk mengisi persediaan beras di pasar dan dorongan masyarakat untuk menjaga stabilitas stabilitas harga beras. Sisi ancaman yaitu ketersediaan beras dari petani terbatas, gangguan faktor produksi beras dan rantai distribusi beras panjang. Strategi yang tepat digunakan saat ini yaitu strategi defensif.
