Abstract: Tourism has the opportunity to be able to give a good influence on several aspects (economic, social, cultural, and environmental), so it makes one of the strategies of the Semarang City government to be used to solve the problems of slums in Kampung Wonosari. Kampung Wonosari which was changed into a tourist village, and changed its name to Kampung Pelangi. In addition to the positive effects obtained, but there are also negative effects due to changes in the function of the village. One of the negative influences is that there is a shift in territorial occupancy because people have to share their space with visitors. From this phenomenon, this research will raise the issue of territorial shift as a form of adaptation due to the development of tourism in the village. Based on these problems the purpose of this study is to determine the form of territory shifting from the form of adaptation that occurred. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative method. So we get realistic results from the object of shifting territory on the porch as a form of adaptation to follow the development of the village into a tourist attraction.

Tigawasa Village is one of the Old Villages or Bali Aga villages in Banjar District, Buleleng Regency, Bali which is the center of bamboo handicrafts. The local handicraft really needs development, one of the developments of the local handicrafts of Tigawasa Village, namely tourism village souvenir products. The development of local handicraft-based tourism village souvenirs is the beginning of increasing the value of local crafts in Tigawasa Village. This article describes the opportunities and challenges of developing local handicraft-based tourist village souvenirs in Tigawasa Village, which is the center of bamboo handicrafts in the Bali Aga village environment, Buleleng, Bali. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method which begins with data collection from interviews with several informants, filling out questionnaires by tourists visiting Tigawasa Village and also direct documentation to Tigawasa Village such as traditional houses and also to craftsmen in Tigawasa Village. The results show that local crafts have the opportunity to develop as souvenirs because the crafts produced are of good quality, besides that the tourism development component is also an opportunity in the development of these souvenirs such as tourists visiting Tigawasa Village will be invited to do weaving activities (something to do) with the woven results can be used as a souvenir to take home (something to buy). The results of the questionnaire also stated that 70% of tourists strongly agree with the existence of local handicraft-based tourism village souvenirs, and 30% agree and there are no opinions disagree and strongly disagree. The challenges faced related to the development of tourism village souvenirs include the limitations of existing bamboo sources so that craftsmen buy materials from outside the village so that additional capital is needed so that capital is also a challenge for Tigawasa Village crafts, lack of innovation from bamboo crafts, and lack of promotion. With the development of local handicraft-based souvenirs in Tigawasa Village can increase the selling value of local crafts, can make it a tourist attraction and as a memory for every tourist who comes to Tigawasa Tourism Village.

This study aims to determine the management of Cash Social Assistance in Sikumana Village, in addition to knowing more about the impact of cash social assistance (BST) on communities affected by Covid-19 in Sikumana Village. The research method used descriptive qualitative method. The results obtained from this study indicate that the management of COVID-19 assistance in the Sikumana Village is not optimal, socialization is needed about the benefits of the assistance, so that the community has awareness of the importance of self-data reporting, so that data duplication does not occur. in the village.

AbstrakRaga dayang adalah salah satu dari sekian banyak produk kerajinan tradisional Karo. Raga dayang merupakan produk kerajinan anyaman rotan. Desa Kuta Male adalah salah satu desa perajin raga dayang. Produk ini merupakan produk pelengkap dalam pernikahan adat Suku Karo. Dahulu, merupakan sarana bawa bagi perempuan Karo bila bepergian maupun berbelanja. Sekarang ini, masyarakat Karo pada umumnya sudah tidak lagi memiliki produk tradisional ini. Jumlah perajinnya semakin berkurang. Hal ini dapat berdampak pada tradisi menganyam rotan di Kabupaten Karo lambat laun menuju kepunahan. Tidak adanya inovasi desain yang sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman merupakan faktor penyebab kepunahan tersebut. Pengembangan produk raga dayang menjadi tas rotan kontemporer bertujuan untuk mengangkat kembali keterampilan perajin raga dayang dan salah satu budaya lokal masyarakat Karo dalam gaya desain kontemporer. Metode penelitian yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif melalui pendekatan eksperimental dan ATUMICS. Metode kualitatif deskriptif digunakan untuk mengolah data awal hingga peneliti menemukan teknik/cara menganyam, corak anyaman, ornamen, bentuk dasar, dan cara pembuatan raga dayang, setelah itu peneliti menggunakan metode ATUMICS dalam melakukan pengembangan desain. Selanjutnya desain-desain tersebut diujicoba (eksperimental) sehingga menghasilkan purwarupa (prototype). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan raga dayang dapat dikembangkan menjadi produk rotan alternatif dengan ciri khas ornamen Karo.Kata Kunci: pengembangan, raga dayang, anyaman, rotan.AbstractRaga Dayang is one of the many traditional Karo craft products. Raga Dayang is a rattan wicker craft product. Kuta Male Village is one of the village craftsmen Raga Dayang. This product is a complementary product in the traditional wedding of Karo people. Previously, it was a means of carrying for Karo women when traveling or shopping. Nowadays, Karo people in general are no longer having this traditional product. The number of craftsmen is decreasing. It has an impact on the tradition of weaving rattan in Karo district gradually towards extinction. The absence of design innovations that are in accordance with the times is a factor in the extinction. The development of Raga Dayang products into contemporary rattan bags aims to revive the skills of the Raga Dayang craftsmen and one of the local cultures of the Karo people in a contemporary design style. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative through an experimental approach and ATUMICS. Descriptive qualitative method is used to process preliminary data until the researcher finds the weaving techniques, patterns of weaving, ornaments, basic shapes, and how to manufacture the Raga Dayang, after that researchers use the ATUMICS method in conducting design development. Furthermore, the designs were tested (experimental), resulting in prototypes. The results showed Raga Dayang can be developed into an alternative rattan product with the characteristic of Karo ornaments. Keywords: development, raga dayang, woven, rattan..

Bali has various tourism potentials both natural and cultural which yet to be explored and identified further in order to be developed to become tourist attractions, with feasible facilities available that can be offered. Sangeh Village is one of tourist villages in Badung Regency which has various tourism potentials and one of it is Tourist Attraction of Alas Pala Sangeh. In addition there are still many other tourism potentials which are yet to be developed and promoted optimally. Therefore this research was conducted to identify tourism potentials existed at Tourist Village of Sangeh. The method being used in this research was qualitative method with data sampling technique through observations, in depth interviews, and literature studies so that able to identify tourism potentials existed at Tourist Village of Sangeh. The result of this research shows that the Village of Sangeh is one of customary villages in Bali which has various tourism potentials so that the Village of Sangeh is called a Tourist Village. The potentials owned by Tourist village of Sangeh is in the form of physical and non-physical potentials. Physical potentials referred to among others are Tourist Garden of Mumbul, Tourist Attraction of Alas Pala Sangeh and Pondok Jaka, whereas non-physical potential is Trekking activity managed by POKDARWIS Bukit Sari Sangeh, an institution that supervise Sangeh Traditional Activity.This research aims to identificate potentials of tourism available in Tourist Village of Sangeh.    Keywords:Identification, Tourism Potential, and Tourism Village

Piyungan Bantul District, Yogyakarta has a very interesting natural tourism potential where there are many plants that can be developed into an attraction, one of which is located in the village of Wanojoyo Kidul, there is a tourist spot called Taman Bronjong. As the name implies, Bronjong is water retaining so that the land on the banks of the river is not eroded by river currents, especially in Kali Gawe. Taman Bronjong has direct views of the Bukit Bintang and has a child-friendly stream. The research method used in this research process is descriptive qualitative supported by quantitative data. The observations show that in this garden there are many plants that can be used for the manufacture of local beverage products such as lemongrass, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, kencur. With the potential possessed by Taman Bronjong, researchers aim to empower local plants as beverage products in order to develop tourist attraction in the area.

Tourism is a sector that always has a dynamic movement which will benefit the local community. Lumban Suhi-suhi is a tourist village famous for its ulos on Samosir Island that has become one of the tourist attraction. Due to the limitations of facilities arrangement make it becomes less of the attraction itself. Therefore, the environment-based mechanism becomes one of the concepts that will be applied to improve the tourist facilities in which could increase tourists in that area. <p>Despite Sasak community in five sub-districts of North Lombok uses the same dialect, namely kuto-Kute Dialect (BSDK), the people within those sub-districts demonstrate different lexicals to express the same meaning. The purpose of this study is to describe the lexicals variations in Kuto-Kute Dialect used by the community in North Lombok. This study used a descriptive-qualitative method. The data was taken by using observation and conversational method. Observation method was applied by observing the language used by communities within the observation spots in the village, while conversational method was used by having conversations with the informants from the observed villages. The data was analysed by using referential identity and distributional methods. The result of the analysis showed that Sasak Kuto-Kute dialect in certain gloss has lexical variations they are glosses having two lexical variation and three lexical variations.</p>

This research was conducted to analyze how modernization affects the implementation of public service administration policies, especially in Kediri, East Java. As is well known, from time to time various aspects of life are required to undergo changes to a more modern direction. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Descriptive qualitative research is aimed at obtaining an overview of how modernization affects public service administration policies in Kediri. To obtain the necessary data, the authors used a purposive sampling technique so that the sample taken was more focused, assisted by a review of several related previous studies. The results showed that modernization, especially in the field of technology, was sufficient to influence public service administration policies in Kediri.

Traditional culture underlying a wide range of behavior and deeds of a society and gave birth to a variety of oral literature as well as myth. The myth that developed and still surviving in public life of Java among other myths related to pregnant and nursing mothers. This research is under a descriptively qualitative method supported by field research method along with un-depth interviews in Dawuhan village of Banyumas which is the village where the ancestors of Banyumas was buried. Through field observation and research method of interview to the trusted resource in Dawuhan village was obtained by results of research regarding the myth of pregnant and nursing mothers. This research finds some kinds of myths in relation to recommending and prohibition to perform an action that may harm the fetus, while the myth of breastfeeding mothers mostly prohibition and advice about foods that are consumed by the mother breastfeeding can harm the health of the baby.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bentuk toleransi dan faktor pendorong dan faktor penghambat toleransi masyarakat Jawa dengan studi kasus di Dukuh Medono Kabupaten Batang. Di dukuh tersebut, penganut organisasi agama seperti NU, Muhammadiyah dan Kristen Jawa di Dukuh Medono saling hidup rukun. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa toleransi antar penganut NU, Muhammadiyah, Kristen Jawa tampak berbagai bentuk. Antara NU dan Kristen Jawa dalam bentuk partisipasi dalam ritual tahlilan, sedangkan antar ketiganya tampak dalam bentuk kerja bakti, saling membantu dalam acara hajatan, perkawinan campur dan saling berkunjung bila ada yang sakit. Faktor pendorong toleransi antara lain budaya toleransi yang sudah lama, pernikahan antar penganut yang berbeda, sosialisasi toleransi dalam keluarga, dan kepemimpinan desa yang menekankan pentingnya toleransi. Sedangkan faktor penghambat toleransi yaitu perbedaan pandangan antar penganut NU dan Muhammadiyah dalam pelaksanaan ibadah, pernikahan beda keyakinan, dan sikap menyinggung keyakinan diantara penganut yang ada. The objective of this study is to explore forms of tolerance and the driving factor of religious tolerance in Dukuh Medono, Batang. In that village, the followers of NU, Muhammadiyah, and Kristen Jawa live peacefully and united in tolerance. The research method used here is a qualitative method with phenomenology approach. The result of the research shows that the tolerance between NU followers and Javanese Christians take the form of participation in tahlilan ritual. The tolerance between NU, Muhammadiyah followers, and Kristen Jawa followers are expressed through kerja bakti, mutual support in hajatan rituals, mixed marriage, visits to the sick, and social activities together. The factors which help to create tolerance include the culture of tolerance which exist in the village, marriages between religious followers, the socialization of tolerance within family, the socialization of tolerance within the society and the role of village administrative leaders. On the other hand, the factors which distract tolerance are different point of view between NU dan Muhammadiyah followers in some religious aspects, marriage between different religious followers, and the attitude of insulting others beliefs.
