The e-learning policy is carried out by the Indonesian government in learning to provide learning by making it easier for educators to create media with limited time. Internet-based media/applications in addition to making it easier for teachers, will also provide other colors in the learning process. Learners will not feel bored easily when listening to explanations/doing something. This study aims to explain the evaluation of the using of e-learning in the kindergartens in Yogyakarta Province, Indonesia. The method that is applied for this study is a qualitative analysis which uses directly to portray the detail interviewees by conducting an in-depth interview with the teachers in kindergartens in Bantul and Sleman districts. The results of this study indicate that this policy is very good and helps facilitate all parties both teachers and students. However, on the other hand, e-learning is apparently still lacking interest by some educators. Educators assume that the use of application/internet-based media is very confusing. Educators will need a considerable amount of time to learn how to operate a computer/laptop before they begin to develop learning media. On the other hand, technology-based learning in several schools is included in the extracurricular program. This program is not attended by all students and is limited to optional, not mandatory. Therefore, that the impact of the use of technology in the learning process cannot be felt by all students. Only a few students are able to use this technology in learning. The Ministry of Education has provided a platform for educators to access some technology-based learning media. In addition to the Ministry of Education, the Provincial Kindergartens development center has also conducted education related to technology-based learning in kindergartens. However, the lack of socialization causes educators not to get information and lack the knowledge to be able to access it.

The tax administration, as one of the most important state bodies that participates in the process of collecting public revenues, among other functions it performs, also has the authority to adopt tax administrative acts which determine the amount of tax liability that tax-payers are obliged to pay. taxpayers, on the other hand, are constantly looking for a way to avoid paying the determined taxes or to reduce the tax liability as much as possible. In this process, the activities of both parties have an impact on the budget and the amount of tax revenue collected. The paper discusses the tax administration's rights and obligations, specifically those related to the adoption of tax administrative acts, with an emphasis on the second-instance tax procedure as it directly affects the amount of collected revenues. Furthermore, the paper describes the role of taxpayers in the process of adopting tax administrative acts, focusing primarily on the institute of appeal in this procedure. The available data are also presented supporting the conclusions of this article.

In this era, the growth of the goods and services industry has had a positive impact. One of the positive impacts is providing sufficient quantity and higher quality demand, as well as there are a lot of alternative choices for consumers to meet their needs. On the other hand, there are also negative impacts, namely the use of technology and the impact of business behavior due to increased competition which has an impact on the consumer community. This study aims to determine whether business actors are responsible for consumer losses related to goods that are not produced in accordance with the label, and to find out what legal sanctions have been imposed on business actors for violations due to inappropriate labels and manufactured goods. This type of research is normative legal research. The results show that the responsibility of commercial actors is related to the mismatch between the label and the goods produced, namely compensation for damage, pollution, and consumption of goods or services. Then, legal sanctions can be imposed for violations of business actors, including imprisonment for a maximum of 5 (five) years or a maximum fine of Rp. 2 billion. Thus, it can be concluded that business actors can be held accountable for the incompatibility of labels with goods that have been produced, and if the violation is too detrimental to consumers, they can be prosecuted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

In the teaching and learning process, the roles of teachers and students will be balanced if there is good communication between them. However, learning methods from face-to-face to e-learning suddenly prompt the teachers to look for various alternatives to convey the material due to COVID-19 pandemic. The research analyzes the impact of COVID-19 on the learning process, especially Mandarin, in an elementary school. The research uses a descriptive-analytical method with questionnaires. The questionnaires are filled out by 34 students from the fifth grade in Bina Kusuma Elementary School, Jakarta. The research finds the positive impacts of elearning in the school regarding Mandarin learning. First, the subject is more interesting and easier to understand. Second, students can learn the right notes and pronunciation independently. Third, using WhatsApp and Zoom can help students recall previously learned vocabulary. Fourth, students can learn new vocabulary independently. Fifth, e-learning can motivate students to learn and gain experience from new learning methods. Sixth, students can manage their time in learning, so they become more independent. Last, students can study anywhere and anytime without time and space limits. However, the weakness of e-learning is the speed of the internet. It affects the students in obtaining the provided subject by the teachers.

The opening of relationships between United States and Cuba could be a drive for a huge increase in the affluence of tourism to Cuba and especially to the coast areas. Cuba has been for many years an important tourist destination for people from many countries, but almost forbidden for US citizens. The proximity of the USA, its amount of population as well as their great acquisition power will increase in a very substantial way the demand for accommodation and other uses in the proximity of the coasts. There will be a need to implement a package of measures that reduce the impact of such sudden increase in the coastal line. On the other hand that augment in tourism could be an opportunity to improve the standard of life of Cubans. The consideration of different possibilities of such development, the analysis of the damages that each one could cause as well as the measures that could avoid, ameliorate or compensate such effects are the goals that are going to be presented in this paper.

This book examines the impact that Athenian Old Comedy had on Greek writers of the Imperial era. It is generally acknowledged that Imperial-era Greeks responded to Athenian Old Comedy in one of two ways: either as a treasure trove of Atticisms, or as a genre defined by and repudiated for its aggressive humor. Worthy of further consideration, however, is how both approaches, and particularly the latter one that relegated Old Comedy to the fringes of the literary canon, led authors to engage with the ironic and self-reflexive humor of Aristophanes, Eupolis, and Cratinus. Authors ranging from serious moralizers (Plutarch and Aelius Aristides) to comic writers in their own right (Lucian, Alciphron), to other figures not often associated with Old Comedy (Libanius) adopted aspects of the genre to negotiate power struggles, facilitate literary and sophistic rivalries, and provide a model for autobiographical writing. To varying degrees, these writers wove recognizable features of the genre (e.g., the parabasis, its agonistic language, the stage biographies of the individual poets) into their writings. The image of Old Comedy that emerges from this time is that of a genre in transition. It was, on the one hand, with the exception of Aristophanes’s extant plays, on the verge of being almost completely lost; on the other hand, its reputation and several of its most characteristic elements were being renegotiated and reinvented.

Lamprocapnos spectabilis (L.) Fukuhara (bleeding heart) is valued both in the horticultural and pharmaceutical markets. Despite its great popularity, information on the in vitro tissue culture technology in this species is limited. There is also little knowledge on the application of plant extracts in the tissue culture systems of plants other than orchids. The aim of this study is to compare the utility of traditional plant growth regulators (PGRs) and natural extracts—obtained from the coconut shreds, as well as oat, rice, and sesame seeds—in the micropropagation and cryopreservation of L. spectabilis ‘Gold Heart’ and ‘White Gold’. The biochemical analysis of extracts composition is also included. In the first experiment related to micropropagation via axillary buds activation, the single-node explants were cultured for a 10-week-long propagation cycle in the modified Murashige and Skoog medium fortified either with 1.11 µM benzyladenine (BA) and 1.23 µM indole-3-butritic acid (IBA) or with 10% (v/v) plant extracts. A PGRs- and extract-free control was also considered. In the cryopreservation experiment, the same 10% (v/v) extracts were added into the medium during a seven-day preculture in the encapsulation-vitrification cryopreservation protocol. It was found that the impact of natural additives was cultivar- and trait-specific. In the first experiment, the addition of coconut extract favoured the proliferation of shoots and propagation ratio in bleeding heart ‘Gold Heart’. Rice extract, on the other hand, promoted callus formation in ‘White Gold’ cultivar and was more effective in increasing the propagation ratio in this cultivar than the conventional plant growth regulators (4.1 and 2.6, respectively). Sesame extract suppressed the development of the explants in both cultivars analysed, probably due to the high content of polyphenols. As for the second experiment, the addition of plant extracts into the preculture medium did not increase the survival level of the cryopreserved shoot tips (sesame and oat extracts even decreased this parameter). On the other hand, coconut extract, abundant in simple sugars and endogenous cytokinins, stimulated a more intensive proliferation and growth of shoots after rewarming of samples. Analysing the synergistic effect of conventional plant growth regulators and natural extracts should be considered in future studies related to L. spectabilis.
