The aim of the research was to study the effect of the complex antimicrobial drug Triolact on blood morphological and biochemical parameters of white rats in a subacute experiment. It was established in the course of the experiment that the dose of 500.0 mg/kg is the threshold dose, and 100.0 mg/kg is the maximum no-effect dose. Triolact does not have a negative effect on the clinical status, morphological and biochemical parameters of animal blood  in case of repeated intragastric administration for 14 days in doses of 100.0 mg/kg and 250.0 mg/kg both during the application of the drug and in the recovery period. The changes caused by the dose of 500.0 mg/kg are reversible (increase of α-globulin level by 6.9%, creatinine - by 22.9% and urea - by 15.1%), as these indicators in experienced animals returned to normal within the 10 days recovery period. It can be concluded that the  determination of the toxic dose in the format of the present experiment was failed, taking into account the morphometric analysis, macro- and microscopic examination of organs, and studying the morphological picture of blood and biochemical parameters.

Aim. Study of the hormonal status and the level of pro-inflammatory cytokines in the blood plasma in experimental hypothyroidism and the effect of the organoiodine complex with rebaudioside A. Materials and methods. Endemic thyroid dysfunction was modeled in sexually mature male white rats by daily intragastric administration of thiamazole for 21 days at a dose of 25 mg / kg. In the blood serum, the content of thyrotropin, total and free thyroxine, total triiodothyronine, testosterone, luteinizing, follicle-stimulating and parathyroid hormones, corticosterone, interleukins-1-beta and -6, tumor necrosis factor-alpha was studied. The animals were divided into four groups of 10 each: control, experimental, comparison and main. Results. The development of hypothyroidism was characterized by an increase in the content of thyroid-stimulating, luteinizing, follicle-stimulating and parathyroid hormones, as well as pro-inflammatory cytokines. At the same time, testosterone levels decreased, while corticosterone levels were within physiological fluctuations. Conclusion. The use within 30 days of the recovery period after the development of hypothyroidism of the iodosaccharide complex based on steviol glycoside rebaudioside A used in the food industry daily at a dose of 25 mg / kg of rat weight led to the normalization of the content of the studied hormones and cytokines in the blood plasma, characterizing the effectiveness of the new organoiodine product.

Relevance. Ozone increases the oxygen transport function of the blood. The use of ozone therapy for pulmonary pathology is promising. The effect of ozone therapy is associated with the ability of ozone to eliminate hypoxemia and tissue hypoxia, which is always present in patients with pathology of the bronchopulmonary apparatus. Objective: to study morphofunctional changes in liver tissue, in the dynamics of the use of ozonized water in rats in an experimental model of chronic purulent pneumonia.Materials and methods. Three groups were formed from 30 male white rats (180-200 g). In group 1 (n = 10) healthy rats were injected intraperitoneally with 5 ml of ozonated (0.02 mg / L) 0.9% NaCl once a day for 10 minutes. Course 10 days. Animals of the 2 (n = 10) and 3 (n = 10) groups were first modeled for chronic pneumonia. For this, under local novocaine anesthesia, a 1.5-2.0 cm long incision was made on the animal's neck. A nylon thread with a diameter of 0.4 mm and a length of 10-12 cm was inserted into the lumen of the trachea, between its rings, on a thin piercing needle. The distal end of the thread was located in the lumen of the trachea, and its proximal end was fixed on the skin. The wound was sutured tightly in layers. After 45 days, the thread was removed without opening the trachea. Subsequently, animals of group 2 did not receive treatment. And rats of group 3 were injected once a day with 5 ml of ozonized (0.02 mg / l) 0.9% NaCl for 10 minutes. Course 10 days. The animals were removed from the experiment by instant decapitation. The taken pieces of the liver were fixed in formalin. Histological sections were stained with hematoxylin and eosin. Microscopy was performed using an XS-213 light microscope and a Leica microscope. Results. With prolonged irritation of the respiratory tract, structural changes in the liver, characteristic of toxic hepatitis, were revealed. After treatment with ozonated saline, the morphological picture of the liver improved. In healthy rats, ozone therapy did not have a negative effect on the general condition and behavior of the animals. Conclusions. Treatment with ozonated saline improves the morphological picture of the liver of rats with chronic pneumonia.

Antibiotic resistance of the main infectious disease pathogens is one of the biggest problems of present time, which causes the need for searching for new antimicrobial medicinal substances and developing effective medicinal agents. One of the innovative medicinal preparations with the antimicrobial action, which is recommended for application for animals with hoof diseases, is ForticeptTM Hoof Oinment. Integration in the practice new medicinal preparations needs their strict toxicological control, which involves the exploring of acute and chronic toxicity and remote effects of possible side effect. The purpose of work was the determination of the acute toxicity parameters of the ForticeptTM Hoof Oinmentduring the oral administration to white laboratory mice and evaluation of the skin resorptive action of the preparation after it was administrated on rats’ skin. For determination of the acute toxicity there were used male laboratory mice with the average weight of the body 20 g – two groups with 10 animals in each. For the first group (the control one) with the help of the probe there was injected the distilled water (0.1 ml) into stomach. For the second group there was injected ForticeptTM Hoof Oinment (0.1 g), where the dose of the preparation is equal 500 mg/kg. For evaluation of the skin resorptive action of the preparation there were used 6 white rats with the average weight of the body 175 g. On the pre-prepared patch of skin there was administrated the preparation in the number that is equal 2857 mg/kg of body weight. For control there was leaved a free from preparation patch of bare skin. Exposition lasted for 4 hours. The indicators were explored in dynamics after 6, 24, 48 hours from the exposition started. After the research results there was established that ForticeptTM Hoof Oinment doesn’t cause death after its intragastric administration to the white laboratory mice in the number that is equal 5000 mg/kg of the body weight, that’s why depending on the degree of toxicity it belongs to the V toxicity class (Practically nontoxic). After one-time application of the preparation to the white rats in the number which is equal 2857 mg/kg of the body weight there wasn’t observes no death or pronounced changes in the behavior reactions, motor activity, state of the nervous system, amount of the consumed food and water. Therefore ForticeptTM Hoof Oinmentaccording to the results of the determination of the acute toxicity after its administration on the skin to the white rats depending on the degree of toxicity it belongs to the V toxicity class (Practically nontoxic). ForticeptTM Hoof Oinment doesn’t detect skin resorptive action, that points on the absence of toxic effects of the preparation due to its application on the skin.

For the treatment of eimeriosis, drugs that are different in their chemical structure and direction of action are used, which can have a negative effect on productive animals. When conducting preclinical studies of new drugs, we carried out a study of the harmlessness (tolerance) of the drug Unicoccidum in piglets. Healthy of 2 months old animals (n = 18) were selected for this purpose. Piglets of group I – for the control, they didn’t receive the drug. Animals of group II were orally individually administered Unicoccidum at a dose of 2.0 ml/kg (therapeutic dose), and III group – at a dose of 10.0 ml/kg (5-fold therapeutic dose). The toxic effect of the drug was evaluated by the clinical state of the animals, hematological (erythrocytes, hemoglobin, white blood cells, leukogram) and biochemical parameters (total protein, urea, creatinine, AST, ALT, AP, γ-GT, cholesterol, glucose, total calcium, inorganic phosphorus). It was found that the use of Unicoccidum in the studied doses did not have a negative effect on the clinical status of piglets. Single administration of Unicoccidum at doses of 2.0 ml/kg and 10.0 ml/kg did not significantly differ in hematological and biochemical parameters of piglets' blood from animals from the control group, and the fluctuations in the values of these indicators were within the physiological norm for this animal species. This can serve as a proof of its good tolerance and harmlessness.

The article presents research results of the food additive Genesis effect on laying hens health. Experiments were conducted in 2 stages. During the first stage of experiments the acute toxicity of the food additive Genesis was studied on white rats of the Standard variety. Criteria for assessing the acute toxicity of the food additive Genesis were indicators of animals’ clinical and hematological status. Observation of the experimental rats for 14 days made it possible to establish that after intragastric administration of an aqueous solution of the food additive Genesis there are no toxic effects in the form of immediate and delayed-type hypersensitivity. This is confirmed by the results of the clinical examination of laboratory animals and the morphological study of blood. During the second stage of experiments the effect of Genesis on the organism of laying hens was studied. The condition of laying hens was assessed by the results of a clinical examination, an assessment of the biochemical composition of blood serum, as well as change in their productive qualities. The biochemical parameters of the blood serum of laying hens were identified: inorganic calcium, phosphorus, calcium-phosphorus ratio, alkaline phosphatase, urea, creatinine, creatine Kinase, cholesterol, total protein, glucose. It was established that the food additive Genesis has a positive effect on the clinical, biochemical parameters of the blood serum of laying hens as well as on the morphological parameters of chicken eggs. In addition, when using the Genesis, the efficiency of feed utilization increases.

The effect of presowing seed treatment on various concentrations of dicarboxylic (organic) acids on the sowing characteristics of spring barley has been studied. Seeds were treated with organic acids obtained by exposing cuttings to the radiation with a dose of 100 kGy and consequent hydrolysis, in concentrations: 1•10-7 %; 1•10-9; 1•10-11; 1•10-13 and 1•10-15 % on a laboratory rotary machine RVO-64 for one day before laying for germination. Distilled water was used for the control case. The rate of application of the working solution calculated as 10 liters / ton of seeds. Seeds were germinated in filter paper rolls in accordance with GOST 12038-84 requirements. The temperature was maintained at +24 ° C in the thermostat where the glasses with rolls were placed. For determination of germinative power and laboratory germination the sprouted seeds were evaluated after three and seven days, respectively. In laboratory experiments it was established that the treatment of barley seeds of varieties Zazersky 85, Nur and Vladimir with organic acids (OK) in different concentrations had both a stimulating and a negative effect. On the Zazersky 85 variety, in variants with acid concentrations of 1•10-9 and 1•10-11, an increase in germination energy (EP) by 2-4% and a significant decrease (by 3-4%) of laboratory germination (LV) of barley seeds were noted. On the Nur variety, the increase in EP was observed at 4% (concentration 1•10-11), LV and seed growth force (CPC) by 2-7% at a concentration of 1•10-7 and in the dose range 1•10-11 - 1•10-14 compared to the control values. On the grade of Vladimir, an increase in EP, LV, and CPC was found to increase by 1-6% at concentrations OK 1•10-7 and 1•10-13. It was shown that the treatment of seeds with acids led to an increase in the length of the germ in all studied varieties (by 3-9%) and dry biomass of 7-day-old seedlings - by 3-6%. Consequently, the treatment of seeds with a mixture of dicarboxylic acids has a stimulating effect on the sowing quality of spring barley.

The expediency of using the probiotic drug Biolax-U in the rations of lactating and dry cows of Black-and-White breed has been studied and scientifically proved. The influence of this drug on the morphological and biochemical parameters of animal blood has been determined. The composition of the probiotic drug Biolax-U consists of eight strains of a balanced complex of living lactic acid bacteria, yeast and actinomycetes, as well as biologically active substances. For experimental studies conducted on 2 groups of cows have been selected by the method of pairs-analogs, the influence of feeding of feed have been prepared with the use of the microbiological drug with probiotic action Biolax-U on feed consumption, morphological and biochemical changes in blood has been studied. Analysis of the rations of cows indicates that the content of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sulfur and trace elements such as manganese, copper, zinc and cobalt in the feed has been reduced. It has been found by studies that the use of probiotic drug Biolax-U had the positive influence on the feed intake, digestibility and better assimilation of feed nutrients and contributed to the improvement of blood morphological and biochemical parameters. For example, in animals of the experimental group hemoglobin has increased by 3,6 % (Р < 0,05), red blood cells by 10,1 (P ≤ 0,05), the content of leukocytes by 4,43, carotene by 9,6, glucose by 3,4; reserve alkalinity by 15,6, calcium by 19,4 (P ≤ 0,01), and phosphorus by 18,4 % compared with the control group of animals. During the lactation significantly improved hematological parameters including alkalinity reserve by 5,11 %, calcium level by 11,1, phosphorus by 8,6, hemoglobin by 14,2 %, the content of erythrocytes by 12,3, leukocyte by 3,86, and carotene 11,1 % against the parameters of animals of control group. The improvement of morphological and biochemical parameters of blood of cows indicates about stimulating effect on hematopoiesis and the general clinical condition of animals that contributes to the improvement of metabolic processes when using feed prepared with the use of microbiological drug with probiotic action Biolax-U.
