The commercial success of any business enterprise in the age of globalization and internationalization depends on the choice of marketing strategy. To remain competitive, all industries must follow new trends and face new challenges. In the context of the current market requirements, a new strategy for translating advertisements and slogans called transcreation has been attracting more attention and is an emergent trend for the Ukrainian market. In this study, we examine the phenomenon of transcreation and present an analysis of texts resulting from the application of the translation strategy. The problem of advertisement translation has been attracting attention of the modern linguists as the main task of a translator is 1) to choose the appropriate translation strategy so as 2) to clearly convey to the recipient the intended information of the original text considering all implicit as well as explicit shades of original message. One of the challenges in translating advertisements is the preservation of the communicative functions embedded in the original text or slogan. In our work, we covered the concept of "transcreation", analysed the translation of advertising slogans of world-famous German companies, as well as conducted a psycho-linguistic experiment using an online Google Forms questionnaire. Fifty-two informants evaluated nuances of the meanings on which advertising slogans and their translations were focused by transcreation. The results of our study can be used in training programs for future translators. Key words: translation, translation strategy, translation of advertising texts, advertising slogans, transcreation, adaptation, psycho-linguistic experiment.

Over the past decade, on-surface fabrication of organic nanostructures has been widely investigated for the development of molecular electronic devices, nanomachines, and new materials. Here, we introduce a new strategy to obtain alkyl oligomers in a controlled manner using on-surface radical oligomerisations that are triggered by the electrons/holes between the sample surface and the tip of a scanning tunnelling microscope. The resulting radical-mediated mechanism is substantiated by a detailed theoretical study. This electron transfer event only occurs when <i>V</i>s < -3 V or <i>V</i>s > + 3 V and allows access to reactive radical species under exceptionally mild conditions. This transfer can effectively ‘switch on’ a sequence leading to formation of oligomers of defined size distribution due to the on-surface confinement of reactive species. Our approach enables new ways to initiate and control radical oligomerisations with tunnelling electrons, leading to molecularly precise nanofabrication.

This paper tries to explore that, Action Research is a supplementary source for English Language Teachers to bring out better teaching outcome of the teachers and better learning outcomes of the students. In the current scenario, apart from the syllabus, English Language teachers expect a supplementary source to follow a new strategy in order to satisfy the expectations of the students inside the classroom. They face many challenges in the classroom and one of the important problems is to draw continuous involvement of the students as well as to create good understanding of the subject in the classroom. In this connection, Action Research helps the teachers to explore effective teaching strategy in the classroom. This Action Research is integrated with a new approach called MUSE (Manageable, Urgent, Significant and Engaging), that helps the teachers to plan effectively. Besides, it is an exploratory or activity based classroom research and so it encourages the students to learn effectively and understand clearly with more involvement in the classroom. This study suggests a need for the supplementary source and it also focuses on Action Research to aid the teachers.

The paper presents a new approach to estimation of the dynamic power phasors parameters. The observed system is modelled in algebra of matrices related to its Taylor-Fourier-trigonometric series representation. The proposed algorithm for determination of the unknown phasors parameters is based on the analytical expressions for elements of the Gram’s matrix associated with this system. The numerical complexity and algorithm time are determined and it is shown that new strategy for calculation of Gram’s matrix increases the accuracy of estimation, as well as the speed of the algorithm with respect to the classical way of introducing the Gram’s matrix. Several simulation examples of power system signals with a time-varying amplitude and phase parameters are given by which the robustness and accuracy of the new algorithm are confirmed.

In this paper, we study the vibration performance of simply supported slotted plate using structural intensity (SI) method. First, the SI distribution of the slotted plate under given excitation for different slot depths is obtained using finite element methods. The SI streamline of each case shows that the SI distribution can be significantly affected by adjusting the slot depth. The optimal position of dampers which can effectively implement vibration control of slotted plate for the fixed value of exciting frequency can be obtained from the SI streamline distribution. In case of changing vibrating frequencies, a new strategy of vibration control by adding soft material (hydrogel) layers is proposed. The main advantage of this strategy is that the properties of hydrogel can be easily adjusted by changing the chemical potential, thereby achieving the desired vibration control for different excitation conditions. The effectiveness of the proposed vibration control using hydrogel layers is investigated using SI method. The SI distribution and SI streamlines of the slotted plate with the new vibration control show that the proposed strategy is convenient. Our proposed method conceptualizes a new approach toward vibration control using constrained hydrogel layer.

This paper designs new guidance laws for the simultaneous multi-agent interception of a maneuvering target with unknown acceleration. The new approach achieves additional benefits as follows. (1) The completely distributed cooperation protocol ensures that the simultaneous attack task can be completed. (2) The disturbance observer and the adaptive control law can solve the coordinated attack problem with an unknown target acceleration. (3) The design of the guidance law requires only neighbor-derived information rather than global information, which increases the practicability of the new strategy. Numerical simulations with comparisons demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method.

This paper describes a new approach for identification of the optimum pressure history for SPF processes, based on mechanisms-based hyperbolic constitutive equations. This equation set has been modified to incorporate the effect of the damage behaviour the material suffers due to the cavitational evolution of Al-5083 superplastic alloy. A large deformation, multiaxial formulation of the constitutive equation set is implemented and applied to finite element modelling of a bulge test forming process to characterise the cavitation evolution behaviour in the bulge test, using conventional (constant strain rate) and the newly proposed (variable strain rate) strategy.

This paper describes a new technique for indexing powder diffraction data. The lattice parameters (unit-cell dimensions) {a,b,c,α,β,γ} define the parameter space of the problem, and the aim is to find the optimal lattice parameters for a given experimental powder diffraction pattern. Conventional methods for indexing consider the measured positions of a limited number of peak maxima, whereas this new approach considers the whole powder diffraction profile. This new strategy offers several advantages, which are discussed fully. In this approach, the quality of a given set of lattice parameters is determined from the profile R-factor, R wp, obtained following a Le Bail-type fit of the intensity profile. To find the correct lattice parameters (i.e. the global minimum in R wp), a genetic algorithm has been used to explore the R wp(a,b,c,α,β,γ) hypersurface. (Other methods for global minimization, such as Monte Carlo and simulated annealing, may also be effective.) Initially, a number of trial sets of lattice parameters are generated at random, and this `population' is then allowed to evolve subject to well defined evolutionary procedures for mating, mutation and natural selection (the fitness of each member of the population is determined from its value of R wp). Examples are presented to demonstrate the success and underline the potential of this new approach for indexing powder diffraction data.

We utilize pseudo-invariant eigen-operator (PIEO) method to research the three-level Jaynes–Cummings (JC) model. Our main task is to simplify the JC model and then redescribe the Hamiltonian via supersymmetric transformation generators. Another is to search for the so-called PIEO in terms of supersymmetric generators, which directly leads to the energy-level gap for the above system. We believe that this new approach may be extended to deal with more other generalized JC models.

The research answers the following question:  What message does Hart want to convey in the chapter one of his book," The 100"? Should the translation in Arabic be adapted to be commensurate with beliefs of the Muslim reader? What is the impact of invalid translation on society? Did Anis Mansur render the message of the original text faithfully? The  study shows that Hart believes that Islam is  a human  deed  and Muhammad is the founder of Islam and the author of the Quran. Mansur  did not render the message faithfully , but  he composed a gravely distorted message  revealing to the reader that Hart is  a truly dedicated Muslim  who  believes in Allah and His messenger. The study shows the importance of translating faithfully the original text without adaptation.Key words: Fidelity in translation; deception; the Muslim society; distortion of the message; fair.
