The relevance of the article is due to systemic changes in the design and organization of schoolchildren’s activities in teaching geography. In accordance with the requirements of the Federal state educational system, basic General geographical education needs to expand the activity potential, which can be provided by implementing a modern model for the development of students ‘ subject activities. The article reveals the main components of the model, which is formed by the target, theoretical and methodological, content, procedural, evaluative and effective blocks. The article reflects some results of the experimental part of the research, including on the basis of scientific and educational platforms of the Department of methods of teaching geography of the Moscow Pedagogical State University.

Russian Federal State Educational Standards of 3+ generation impose serious requirements to resource support of educational and training process, including electronic information-educational environment of the University. In the Southwest State University (SWSU), a unified multimedia information and educational environment based on Internet-broadband access technologies was created; it successfully operates and keeps developing. The main concept of this environment construction is the idea of integrating data, applications, and business processes. SWSU Electronic information-educational environment (EIEE) is designed to provide information transparency of the University activities in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of the Russian Federation in the sphere of education, to organize educational activities of the University and to ensure access of students and research and academic-staff of the University to information and educational resources. The main components of SWSU EIEE are: the actors of the education and training process (teachers, students, etc.), external digital library systems, internal automated information library system, “SWSU academic courses” subsystem, “Southwest State University Web portal” subsystem, and the official web site of the Southwest State University. “Southwest State University Web portal" subsystem makes it possible to automate traditional basic functions of Dean's office of the University, such as managing student conduct systems for students of Bachelor and Master Degree Programs of full-time and correspondence forms of training; recording and statistical processing of the data on students’ progress; recording students’ achievements; managing Dean's office workflow. As prescribed in Federal State Educational Standards of 3+ generation, Portal Modules are used to record the results of formative and summative assessment of students in accordance with SWSU current score rating system for learning outcomes.

Companies are poorly satisfied with the level of training of specialists and put forward a number of requirements for specific professional competencies of the applicant in the field of engineering. Building a model of such a specialist is complicated by the fact that engineering services are not part of an independent branch of the national economy of Russia. The training of University students is regulated by Federal state educational standards. For specialists in the field of engineering, it is necessary to involve representatives of the professional community in the development of Professional standards. This will allow us to offer outstanding professional competence in the engineering field, which will meet modern market needs and take into account the experience of the best world practices. Modern specialists in the field of engineering should have a balanced combination of practical programs with traditional training, allowing students to apply their knowledge in real conditions. World experience shows another feature of training these specialists, which is aimed at developing non-technical skills in addition to mastering the basic curriculum in order to professionally succeed. In many respects, the effectiveness of applicants in the engineering field will be determined by their knowledge and skills in the organization and management of key stages of the life cycle of their projects. The state University of management shares its experience in training project-oriented specialists in the field of management and engineering. At the University, the training program is based on engineering education using modern training technologies, methods and tools of project management, as well as direct communication between students and teachers. Active implementation of digital technologies improves academic mobility and contributes to increasing the share of the online segment of educational services.

The article focuses on the implementation of a practice-oriented education in Bachelor’s and Master´s programmes in tourism in P.G. Demidov Yaroslavl State University. These requirements are set by the Federal State Educational Standard 3 and 3+ and are dictated by the real labor market. The practice-oriented approach is achieved through the applying of interactive training forms, involving of experts in tourism industry, organization of various kinds of practices associated with real activity, realization training trips and extracurricular students’ activities. An important factor of increasing the connection of the educational process with the actual needs of the tourism business is the formulation of final results in the form of specific professions. This approach allows organizing training modules in accordance with the tourist industry requirements. An important form of the formation of business thinking in students, who are studying tourism, is their work at workshops on the development of specific programs or objects by request the municipal or commercial establishments. In contrast to the bachelor degree course for master course at the Yaroslavl State University are formulated professional guidelines relating to the enterprise management in the tourism industry, territory management, as well as the development of territorial tourism and recreation complexes. The high demand of the University graduates at the enterprises of the tourism industry proves the success of this approach in the educational field.

This article looks through the current problem of the modern educational system – the need of pedagogical maintenance of algorithmic system of monitoring of FSES requirements in educational establishment in order to deduce and fetch out the results of pedagogical activity. The situation with the staffing of the industry “Physical culture and sports” in the Udmurt Republic according to the state statistical reporting for the last 5 years and, in this regard, the process of personnel training in the framework of the direction 49.00.00 “Physical culture and sports” in the Udmurt Republic as a whole and in the Udmurt State University, in particular, is considered. Using the platform of the Google Forms resource, the authors conducted a survey of 80 organizations-employers in order to form a system at the university that provides training of qualified personnel in physical culture and sports. According to employers, in the interpretation of the authors, the system should include: fulfillment of the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of the direction 49.03.01 “Physical culture”; requirements of professional standards in the field of physical culture and sports; rating of competencies from employers; practice-oriented approach to teaching in the process of organizing practices and studying sports and pedagogical disciplines. In addition, the authors have systematized and generalized proposals for the formatting of work with applicants and graduates in order to retain personnel in the physical culture and sports organizations of the republic.

Enlightenment as well as cultural and educational activity plays a key role in forming cultural values. But educational activity of academic library is perceived in a limited context, that is why the article objective is to analyze an academic library activity as an educational and cultural center. The activity is expressed by a set of educational-information, leisure and cultural events as instruments to promote and develop scientific knowledge, to stimulate users’ reading activity, to form general human culture and specific competences. The article describes different approaches of understanding the educational activities, the emphasis is made on cultural and educational activities of university libraries, federal state educational standards of higher education and higher vocational training in various fields are analyzed to reveal the essence of the libraries activity. In the process of comparative analysis of cultural-educational activities authors studied sites and public reports of Russian university libraries (a case of South Ural State University Scientific Library) and world libraries (library complexes of Oxford University, Munich Technical University, Harvard University, University of Oslo). As a result, main forms of cultural-educational activities were identified and systematized taking into consideration advantages and problems of implementation.

To Russian education’s numerous innovations a one more — global — is added since 2011. This is the Federal State Educational Standard (hereinafter referred to as FSES) of primary general education, main general education, secondary (complete) general education. To that block of administrative problems which were solved already by the teacher, will be added ensuring of development of universal educational actions, i.e. ability to study, personality’s capability to self-development and self-improvement by conscious and active assignment of new social experience. It is an actual and new task will reflect onto all elements of educational system, its subsystems, as well as in processes, which are proceeding in the educational system. The teacher should look for new techniques, technologies, models of educational activity organization. All this will be discussed in the paper.
