The article focuses on the implementation of a practice-oriented education in Bachelor’s and Master´s programmes in tourism in P.G. Demidov Yaroslavl State University. These requirements are set by the Federal State Educational Standard 3 and 3+ and are dictated by the real labor market. The practice-oriented approach is achieved through the applying of interactive training forms, involving of experts in tourism industry, organization of various kinds of practices associated with real activity, realization training trips and extracurricular students’ activities. An important factor of increasing the connection of the educational process with the actual needs of the tourism business is the formulation of final results in the form of specific professions. This approach allows organizing training modules in accordance with the tourist industry requirements. An important form of the formation of business thinking in students, who are studying tourism, is their work at workshops on the development of specific programs or objects by request the municipal or commercial establishments. In contrast to the bachelor degree course for master course at the Yaroslavl State University are formulated professional guidelines relating to the enterprise management in the tourism industry, territory management, as well as the development of territorial tourism and recreation complexes. The high demand of the University graduates at the enterprises of the tourism industry proves the success of this approach in the educational field.

The article deals with issues related to project activities in the framework of training students for a bachelor’s degree in publishing and journalism at Moscow Polytechnic University. The emphasis is placed on the concept of implementing project activities in the educational process in the context of the implementation of the Federal State Educational Standard and on the consideration of various practices and approaches to the implementation of this concept. The introduction of innovative methods in higher education and practice-oriented approaches in training related to professional fields have been developed in the training of students for a bachelor’s degree in publishing. The complexity of production processes and the formation of a complex of creative, organizational, legal, technological, and communication components directly affect the nature of the activity and form requirements for the competencies of a modern specialist in the media industry. This leads to a revision of approaches and the introduction of new teaching methods. At the forefront is the formation of resource links with professional industries and the implementation of the idea of training specialists who can quickly adapt to changing economic conditions and solve production problems. The project method is an important tool for the professional motivation of students for it allows them to participate in the development and creation of a project, to see the final product that has been accepted into production, has passed full publishing preparation, and has been materialized. The method of integrating projects into the educational process allows structuring and organizing students’ independent work and experimental research. Within the framework of the practice-oriented approach to teaching at Moscow Polytechnic University, various subjects of both the educational and professional environment are involved in the organization of projects so that students form the scientific and practical competencies of a BA in publishing. An innovative approach to teaching students majoring in publishing and journalism is present in various areas of training and in various formats. Moscow Polytechnic University implements diverse practices involving the use of innovative methods for solving professional problems. Among them are the use of interactive forms of conducting classes, participation in project activities, development of bachelor’s thesis topics based on the development of publication projects, participation in practice-oriented events related to publishing. The bachelor’s curriculum includes disciplines related to the modeling of publications, the formation of projects of publications and publishing houses. The bachelor’s thesis is made on the basis of a project of a publication or a publishing house; it involves research in the field of publishing management, organization of the editorial and publishing process in a publishing house, development of a marketing plan for a modern publishing house. Interactive and informational-communicative educational technologies are used. Various events with workshops on the creation of publishing projects are held. The considered practice-oriented approaches in training implement the main ideas and tasks of project activity - they create a multilevel system for the formation of students’ competencies.

The need for basic training in toxicology of students of pharmaceutical universities and departments of toxicology is justified. The experience of teaching toxicology and medical protection to students of the St. Petersburg State Chemical Pharmaceutical Academy was analyzed. Academic teaching staff were trained in the methodology of teaching toxicology, and a participated in the preparation of the all-Russian textbook «Toxicology and Medical Protection» (2016) and three tutorials for students of medical and pharmaceutical universities. It is shown that in accordance with the current Federal State Educational Standard of the third generation, toxicology issues are included in the curriculum of a complex discipline «Life Safety. Emergency Medicine» as a stand-alone module. Students study toxicology in the fifth year having received a good basic training in medical, biological, and professional disciplines in previous years. For realization of cognitive and creative activity of students in the educational process, modern educational technologies are used which make it possible to improve the quality of teaching and to use school time more efficiently. The potential of using algorithmic workbooks, interactive forms of training, test control, case-method for facilitating the perception of theoretical knowledge and improving the quality of practical skills development is demonstrated. Results of the anonymous questionnaire survey, in which 153 of 198 students who studied toxicology and medical protection in the autumn semester of the 2017/2018 academic year participated, are reported. It was shown that more than 80% of the students surveyed are convinced of the need to study toxicology during the undergraduate training of specialists of pharmaceutical profile and positively assessed the methodology of teaching toxicology that is performed at the St. Petersburg State Chemical Pharmaceutical Academy.

The requirements of the federal state educational standard of primary general education to the content, technologies and methods of the educational process in primary grades are disclosed. Special attention is paid to the characteristics of the system-activity approach, the technologies of primary education (problem-based learning, developmental learning, activity technology, project method, blended learning, etc.) are highlighted. The methods of teaching all the main academic subjects are presented in detail and concretely. Meets the requirements of the federal state educational standards of higher education of the latest generation. For students of higher educational institutions studying under bachelor's degree programs in the areas of training 44.03.01 "Pedagogical education" and 44.03.05 "Pedagogical education (with two training profiles)".

The article deals with the problem of improving the quality of professional training of cadets of military educational institutions of higher professional education of the National Guard troops of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as military universities of the VNG RF), the solution of which determines the level of security of the Russian Federation. In connection with the changes that have occurred in the educational process on the basis of the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education 3 ++, as well as in the structure of the troops, the need to revise the content of military education, as well as the choice of more effective methods for its implementation, has been identified. After analyzing the current state of affairs, the possibilities of frame methods were studied, the main advantage of which is the intensification of the educational process through the structuring of educational information. The authors have developed frame schemes, the effectiveness of which has been tested experimentally. All this made it possible for the teacher to devote more time to explaining the educational material of a lesson, eliminating the excessive amount of information, and for the cadets - to study the subject in more detail, to comprehend the information received, and then apply these methods in their future professional activities when training the personnel of their unit in the army.

The paper deals with one of the most important issues - educational and methodical support of basic vocational education program 44.03.05 Pedagogical education with two majors (bachelor level). The basic component of this support is an educational and methodological complex of the discipline. Particular attention is paid to the structure and content of the educational and methodical complex of the discipline Methods of Biology Teaching for students majoring in Biology and Geography. The author reveals methodological approaches of its design as well as the possibilities of its use for prospective Biology teachers training according to the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education. The components of the educational-methodical complex are characterized. Particular attention is paid to the design and development of the curriculum of the discipline as a key component of the teaching and methodological complex. The author describes many years experience of the use of teaching and methodological complex for pedagogical education bachelors professional competencies development. The main forms of work are presented in detail and the technologies used for organizing the educational process at the course are disclosed. The presented materials can be used by university teachers while teaching the course Methods of Biology Teaching.

Modern challenges of the system of mathematical training of schoolchildren lead to an increase in subject professional deficits of a mathematics teacher. Monitoring the teacher’s professional deficits allows them to be leveled in a timely manner, thereby improving the quality of the educational process. However, the theory and method of identifying them has not been studied much. This makes it possible to state the problem of research, which consists in determining the conceptual basis of the methodology for identifying subject professional deficits of a mathematics teacher. The purpose of the article is to develop a methodology for identifying subject professional deficits of a mathematics teacher. Methodology. The methodological basis of the study was a competent approach as the basis for structuring the professional competencies of a mathematics teacher; a systematic approach as the basis for diagnosing professional deficits of a mathematics teacher; federal state educational standard for higher education in the field of training “Pedagogical education”; professional standard “Teacher (pedagogical activity in the field of preschool, primary general, basic general, secondary general education. Module “Subject training. Mathematics”, the requirements of the federal state educational standard for the mathematical training of students in a general education school). The study used methods of analyzing special literature and normative documents, pedagogical modeling and design, mathematical processing of information. Results of the study. The basic principles of the methodology for identifying subject professional deficits are formulated and substantiated: expediency, diagnosticity, systemicity and advance. Based on these principles, the authors developed a methodology for identifying subject professional deficits of a mathematics teacher. The example shows the main stages and results of diagnosing subject deficits of a mathematics teacher in the field of combinatorics and probability theory.

This paper examines the peculiarities of teaching German as a second foreign language in a railway university. The analysis emphasizes the inefficiency of traditional methods and the success of the bilingual approach, which consists in a harmonious combination of methodological principles of teaching the first and second foreign languages. The authors carry out a theoretical analysis of the fundamental principles of teaching a second foreign language: a comparative approach, the principle of reliance on the first foreign and native languages, an autonomous approach, a cognitive principle. The paper deals with the issues related to interference and transfer in teaching a second foreign language. Project methods (simulation, presentation speech, Lapbook-technology) tested by the author in the learning process are offered as learning technologies, the use of which facilitates effective mastering of foreign language skills and abilities. The syllabus of the course A Second Foreign language developed by teachers of the Rostov State Transport University in accordance with the new edition of the Federal State Educational Standard is analyzed. The conclusion is made that this syllabus satisfies the requirements put forward by methodologists to the process of teaching a second foreign language. The analysis of the organization of the educational process with the use of textbooks and a fund of assessment tools prepared for the course is expected to be the subject of our further research.

The article deals with one of the directions of educational practice — practice-oriented training. In the implementation of practice-oriented training in modern education can help institutions of additional education, because they have a high adaptation to changes in society, quickly respond to individual educational and other needs of children, and most importantly, unlike regulated school education, offer the freedom to choose programs, directions of training, education and development. New requirements for the organization of the educational process in the system of additional education was a prerequisite for the development of a model of formation of universal educational actions on the basis of Children’s Ecological and Biological Center of Zheleznogorsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai. When creating the model, we took into account that the educational activity of the Children’s Ecological and Biological Center is based on a system-activity approach, which will ensure: the formation of readiness for self-development and continuous education, design and construction of the social environment of students in the education system, active educational and cognitive activity of students, construction of the educational process taking into account the individual age, psychological and physiological characteristics of students. The proposed model can be implemented in all institutions of additional education of natural Sciences.

The article arguesin favor of the formation of communicative competence in students of technical universities. In the competitive struggle for jobs, the candidate who hasthe skills of business communicationskills, professional self-presentation,and confident self-control, wins. Consequently, it is an important task of any technical university to form communicative competence in students while teaching humanities. This study treats communicative competenceas an indispensable skill and, therefore, holds the problem of teaching it urgent. Communicative competence is considered as the ability to effectively interact in a work team, to take into account personal psychological traits and cultural background of the partner in communication, to use business etiquette, conflict management and fruitful interaction in the framework of cooperation. The development of all these skills is placed into the educational process of technical universities as communicative competence is required by in the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education. The participants of this communicative competencestudy wereemploying companies fromVolgograd, Russia (AlterStroy LLC, Alternativa LLC, Elast Plus LLC, PartnerService LLC, Artemis Don LLC, Etalon MK LLC, Beton LLC, Business ResheniyeLLC) and senior students of the Volgograd State Technical University. The total number of survey participants was 109. Master's Degree students of the Volgograd State Technical University V.Bondareva and I.Diulina developed and statistically processed the questionnaire. It was found that both the employers and the students consider the communicative skills, the ability to accurately and clearly express ideas, good manners, and the knowledge of verbal and non-verbal communication pave the path to success in the professional sphere.
