It is now recognised that the forest is far more than just the sum of its constituent trees, and it should also be realised that it has a particular ability to surprise us with unsuspected characteristics. This new philosophy is grounded in knowledge that focuses on the aggregate rather than on different parts that would have been dissected somewhat arbitrarily. Foresters who espouse this point of view accept that the forest can express itself with minimum constraints and they no longer attempt to subject it to preconceived ideas. Having a certain conception of the creative capabilities of a forest, silviculturists need take only one more step in order to assume new responsibilities: with meticulous care and attention, they will help the forest become more complex by drawing their inspiration from the principles of complementary treatments, biodiversity and consistency.

Cash waqf in Indonesia has been long enough implemented based on some rules enacted by government and other rules defined by The Waqf Board of Indonesia (BWI). However, the implementation of cash waqf has not reached the level of success. Therefore, this article studies the application of cash waqf law in Indonesia according to Friedman’s legal system theory. The legal system theory of Friedman firstly looks at the substance of the law, which is the rules or regulations; and secondly it examines the structure of the law, encompassing the law enforcement agencies, such as judge, prosecutor, police and legal counselors. And lastly the theory examines the element of legal culture, which is a response from Muslim society. The first two examinations indicate that there is nothing to be a problem. But from the last examination there is a problem regarding the trust from Muslim society. From the legal culture point of view, the implementation of cash waqf by the government, which is performed by BWI, needs attracting society’s credentials in order to improve and maximize the performance of cash waqf in Indonesia.

In the time when the basic formulas and approaches of the aircraft industry are based on the principles of classical science, the nature of the observed phenomena seems non-linear. Such phenomena as turbulence, flutter, buffering, disruption of the air flow can be explained by means of synergetics and system theory in the context of the post-non-classical paradigm. However, a certain contradiction can be observed: non-linear phenomena are explained by linear traditional science. That is why many formulas of aerodynamics and strength have a large empirical part. Therefore, it becomes necessary to revise the philosophical foundations of most approaches and the overall picture of the world as a whole. The use of the concepts of synergetics and system theory allows us to describe more accurately certain phenomena in aviation, which ultimately will lead to the creation of more efficient and safer aircraft. For example, we can design our aircraft not only as a complex system, but also as part of other complex systems, evaluating its effectiveness from the point of view of more ambitious and higher levels, predicting its operation and modernization in the changing conditions of the socio-political system. Moreover, the very nature of engineering creativity based on synergistic approaches will become more efficient and effective by increasing the intensity of aviation thought. Therefore, understanding the role of chance, the effect of emergence will allow us to be prepared for many surprises and black swans and also be wary about our knowledge, assessing their probabilistic nature.

The time-constant for currents of any normal type in a given conductor is the time in which free currents of that type fall to 1/ e of their original strength. In strictness there are for any conductor an infinite series of time-constants, corresponding to the various normal types, but in such a case as that of a coil of wire one of these is very great in comparison with the rest, which belong to types in which the current is in opposite directions in different parts of a section of the wire. And in all cases the time-constant corresponding to the most persistent type which can be present under given circumstances is, of course, the one which is most important from an experimental point of view.

In this paper is evaluated an optimal constructional and operating performance of the mobil terrain system, that works in forest ecosystems from point of view of volume of processed biomass and total amount of logging transport erosion. A monitored terrain system, working in forestry, is considered as a production system, with its material and energy flow. The determination value, that optimizes the production system, is the operating and constructional performance. In this paper is evaluated the amount erosion in dependence of cutting mass, by means of mathematics and from system point of view. The conditions for the mobile terrain system work, that insure optimal, i.e. minimal value of erosion will be determined. The theoretical results are verified. The optimal values of soil erosion are determined by experimental measurements. The principles of the paper are based on theses of ecological synthesis that determine coupling between dissipative energy of a production system and its ecological cleanliness of work.

Based on the concept of “integrated transportation”, this paper utilizes the collaborative theory, complex system theory and transport economics theory to analyze the matching relationship between the transportation hub and corridor from a macro perspective. Meanwhile, it also explores the coordination of their transport capability, transport organization, etc., from the microscopic point of view, ultimately achieving the theoretical integration and harmonization of the connection and layout of the integrated transport hub and corridor.

This paper is an update of the documents we have concerning the Acts of the Christian martyrs, focused on three main aspects: 1) the kind of acts we know of and their classification from the point of view of their historic value; 2) the versions or editions of the texts that are most accepted by scholars; 3) the relevance of the different parts that make up these documents in order to discern the original text from passages that were rewritten or underwent later variations. In this way, the article offers an exhaustive list of the documents for use in researching Christian martyrs in the Roman period.

The aim of this paper is to analyze determinants which impact on behaviour of terror acts accomplishes-suicide bombers from psychological point of view, for example, whether there is a direct connection between Moon phases and suicide terrorists who conducted terror acts from 2015 to 2016 in the different parts of the world. The author also analyzes randomly selected terror acts carried out between 2016 and 2017 in the continent of Europe. Several factors have been taken into account, such as: terror acts location, suicide terrorist’s citizenship, country of origin, age, education, criminal background, country’s unemployment rate.The novelty of this paper is the fact that this type of research was not been carried out yet. This will allow us to see a more precise direction which should be taken in order to effectively prevent terror acts and what kind of changes can be carried out in certain programs for identification of individuals who may be posed real threat to country’s national security, can be easier involved into terror organizations activities than others.

(1) These experiments prove that the fumigator is safer to use than the dumping fixture, because high concentrations of the poison gas are avoided, so that dangerous pockets are not developed.(2) The poison gas is more evenly distributed over the different parts of the section of the ship under treatment.(3) High concentrations, however, can be developed^ at will in any part which requires special attention.(4) The maximum concentrations of the poison gas were obtained in every part of the section in a shorter time, when the fumigator was used, than when the dumping fixture was employed.(5) The artificial ventilation caused by the fan, which is capable of blowing into the section 500 to 1000 cubic feet of fresh air per minute, according to the speed of the motor, materially assists the rapid clearing of the poison gas from the ship, after it has accomplished its work. It is thus possible to complete the fumigation and ventilation of a ship in 3 hours using the cyanide fumigator, while more than 4 hours are required for the dumping fixture.(6) Even more important is the fact that smaller quantities of cyanide can be used with greater efficiency in the fumigator, than larger quantities, with less efficiency in the dumping fixture.(7) The general conclusion is arrived at, that, from the point of view of efficiency, safety and economy, the fumigator is superior to the dumping fixture. Creel has shown that, in respect to the time required for completing the fumigation, and in respect to the thoroughness of the process, both in killing rats and insects, the dumping fixture is superior to the Clayton gas machine. It follows, therefore, that the cyanide fumigator is very much superior in these respects to the Clayton gas machine.

The paper is compares the chronology of the monuments of the Scythian epoch located in the east and west of the Eurasian steppe zone on the basis of both archaeological and radiocarbon data. The lists of 14C dates for the monuments located in different parts of Eurasia are presented according to the periods of their existence. Generally, the 14C dates are confirmed the archaeological point of view and allow us to compare the chronological position of the European and Asian Scythian monuments on the united 14C time scale.
