CV. Pine Bag’s Specialist is a business engaged in the manufacturing of various types of bags. One of the bags made in the form of a backpack. Parachute fabric is the main raw material for making backpacks. Uncertain demand causes a lot of accumulation (over stock) of raw materials in the storage area, so we need a method of supporting raw material inventory control to determine the optimal order. The research objective determines the optimal ordering of raw materials using variable raw material demand, raw material inventory variables and ordering variables in January the first week to March the fourth week. The Fuzzy Mamdani method used in this study because it has a flexible nature and can overcome the problem of uncertainty. The data processing of the Fuzzy Mamdani method carried out in several stages (a) the formation of the Fuzzy set, (b) the application of the implication function, (c) the composition of the rules, (d) Defuzzification. Defuzzification in research uses the centroid method. The results of Fuzzy Mamdani's manual calculation in January of the first week with input of raw material demand of 666 meters and 126 meters of inventory resulted in an optimal prediction of ordering raw materials of 876 meters. Calculations for January the second week to March the fourth week are performed with the help of the Matlab R2013a Fuzzy Toolbox software. The results of prediction data evaluation on the number of raw material orders Fuzzy Mamdani with actual data on the raw material number ordering CV. Pine Bag’s Specialist, it is known that the average absolute error (MAE) is 193.8 meters with an average percentage of absolute error (MAPE) of 22%. So, it is said that the level of accuracy of predictions is reasonable. Future research is expected in the Fuzzy Mamdani method can be used more than two inputs and one output and the addition of linguistic variables. Combine the Fuzzy Mamdani method with other raw material inventory control methods so that the results obtained are getting better.

Formula milk production companies are faced with an optimal ordering control system. The availability of raw materials is a measure of the performance of the ordering system at a low cost. This research was conducted to determine the optimal order point with a minimum ordering cost. Ordering decision making is considered from company policy because of the budget. The results of this study indicate that the frequency of purchasing raw materials is 9 times the purchase of raw materials in one year period, 12 times a year of policy. The total purchase of raw material inventories was Rp. 48,671,774, and the policy was Rp. 50,765,157.35 per year. The savings in ordering costs amounted to Rp. 2,093,383.35. The reorder point is 5,634 pcs.

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh PT. XX Probolinggo dalam pengelolaan bahan baku untuk produksi celana jeans adalah masih sering terjadi kekurangan bahan baku (stockout) tertinggi yang mencapai 2.950 Yd kain dan 4.040 Yd benang jahit serta adanya kelebihan bahan baku (overstock) tertinggi yang mencapai 4.020 Yd kain dan 5.500 Yd benang jahit. Sedangkan kekurangan bahan baku terendah sebanyak 600 Yd kain dan 3.340 Yd benang jahit serta kelebihan bahan baku terendah sebanyak 860 Yd kain dan 1.550 Yd benang jahit. Persediaan yang terlalu kecil dapat menimbulkan kekurangan persediaan, sedangkan persediaan yang terlalu besar dapat menimbulkan tambahan biaya yang besar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan jumlah pemesanan bahan baku yang optimal sehingga biaya persediaannya minimum.  Metode yang digunakan untuk mewujudkan tujuan tersebut adalah Metode fuzzy inventory control,  pertimbangannya adalah karena Model fuzzy (fuzzy inventory control) adalah salah satu model persediaan yang sesuai dengan kondisi permintaan yang fluktuatif. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di PT. XX Probolinggo ini adalah jumlah pemesanan optimal bahan baku celana jeans pada tahun 2020 sebanyak 72.570 Yd kain, 191.970 Yd benang jahit, 462.800 Unit Kancing, 462.800 Unit Resleting dan 2.901.000 Unit Rivets sehingga diperoleh total biaya pengendalian persediaan sebesar Rp. 2.234.987.960,- setahun. Sedangkan dengan menggunakan model fuzzy ini perusahaan dapat menghemat total biaya pengendalian persediaan sebesar 14,97%.   Kata Kunci: Pengendalian Persediaan, Fuzzy Inventory Control, Fluktuasi Permintaan, Jumlah Pemesanan Optimal.   The problems which appeared by PT. XX Probolinggo in managing raw materials is still often the highest shortage of raw materials (stockout) reaching 2,950 Yd of fabric and 4,040 Yd of sewing thread and the highest excess of overstock which reaches 4020 Yd of fabric and 5,500 Yd of sewing thread. While the lowest raw material shortages are 600 Yd of fabric and 3,340 Yd of sewing thread and the lowest raw material excess is 860 Yd of fabric and 1,550 Yd of sewing thread. Inventories that are too small caused stockout, while inventory that is too large caused a large additional cost. The purpose of this reasearch is to determining the optimal order quantity of raw materials which is will make the minimum inventory costs. The method used to realize these objectives is the fuzzy inventory control method, the consideration that the fuzzy inventory control model is one of the inventory models that is in line with fluctuating demand conditions. The results of research conducted at PT. XX Probolinggo is the optimal order of jeans raw material in 2020 as many as 72,570 Yd of fabric, 191,970 Yd of sewing thread, 462.800 Unit of Buttons, 462.800 Unit of Zippers dan 2.901.000 Unit of Rivets so that the total inventory control costs are Rp. 2.234.987.960,- a year. Whereas by using this fuzzy model the company can save total inventory control costs by 14.97%. Abstract Lonicera caerulea L., also known as honeysuckle berries, are rich in biologically active compounds, which makes them a valuable raw material for the development of functional foods. The objects of the research were three honeysuckle cultivars (‘Zoluška’, ‘Siņaja Ptica’, ‘Goluboje Vereteno’), four genotypes (No 2A; No 3; No 5; No 8) and kefir, enriched with various amounts (3–10%) of fruit puree. Physical and chemical analyses to determine the qualitative indicators of raw materials and products were performed. The degree of liking of kefir was assessed using sensory analysis: hedonic and line scales. The results obtained showed that among the cultivars the highest content of anthocyanins (1103.5 mg·100 g−1), total phenols (693.3 mg·100 g−1), flavonoids (753.9 mg·100 g−1), and tannins (1.6 mg·100 g−1), were found in ‘Siņaja Ptica’ berries, while among the genotypes, berries of No 8 had the highest concentration of the aforesaid compounds. Both samples also showed the highest antiradical activity: ABTS+• on average by 71.7% and DPPH− by 43.7%. According to the sensory evaluation, kefir with 10% honeysuckle puree was rated the highest. Honeysuckle berries could be used as a promising source of natural anti-oxidants in future research aimed at developing different new products that could meet consumer expectations.

Application of web-based raw material inventory control information system with a bill of materials (BOM) using the PHP and MySQL programming language as a database, and using the SDLC livestock device engineering method with stages of planning, design, implementation, and testing. I create a recording application that provides information about the availability of raw material reducing the error in calculating the amount of raw material based on the bill of material. With this application, it can help to purchase in determining the number of raw materials needed for production based on the master bill of material data.

The development of information technology has become a necessity for every company, one of which is the optimization of inventory planning. The joint warehouse owned by the Chickenpedia Restaurant which has to supply various types of raw materials to the three restaurant branches often experiences stock outs and has to make emergency orders resulting in losses. For this reason, it is necessary to control the inventory of raw materials in the shared warehouse so that stock outs can be overcome and losses that arise can be minimized. One of them is by using the Continuous Review method. By using this method, the optimal order quantity and reorder point will be obtained. The weakness is iterative calculation and monitoring of raw material stock manually. For this reason, it is necessary to support an information system to speed up and make it easier to calculate when to place an order and how many orders of raw materials to suppliers so as to reduce the occurrence of running out of raw materials. The Information System can also monitor the stock of raw materials every day in real time based on the number of incoming and outgoing goods that enter the application.

Inventories of raw materials is one of the most important elements in the company's operations are continuously must be obtained, processed and resold. The raw material is meant for the smooth running of production operations set. So, we need an optimum inventory levels to meet the needs of both the quantity, quality and time at a low cost. For that we need a system of planning and inventory control are best - well, that inventories of raw materials should be defined and calculated correctly and accurately in order to obtain a low total cost of inventory that can minimize the cost of production. Forecasting approach is expected to represent the number of actual demand in the coming period. Based on the number of requests of forecasting results can be determined raw material inventory control. By using EOQ then firms will be able to minimize the cost of raw material supplies of oil. Due to globalization, all industrial sectors are mutually connected, which means that the sectors are part of the global economy, influenced by a similar trend. Mining relates to various industrial sectors. The base of mineral raw materials provides in the frame of certain regions the value that is possible to evaluate with optimal use complexly, and by this way profit for the owner, state and mining company, as well as single region is created. The goal of the presented contribution is to search for a position of raw material using in industries and its trend from the view of growth rate, in connection to the growth of other industries with the aim to provide long-term prosperity and contribution of industries to the national economy. Research had been done through growth rate of sales and revenues and one-way analysis of sales trend in analyzed period 2009-2018. The research is supported by initial decline analysis, orientated to the evaluation of positive and negatives of raw material using generally. According to the internal analysis, there are selected sectors directly connected to the mining industry. The results show there is the stable or improving character of the mining industry, which is very similar to industrial production, having influence with other industrial sectors. There is a recorded trend in the growth of individual industries, which varies significantly. The results of the contribution are useful in providing long-term prosperity and contribution of industries to the national economy, providing sustainable economic growth. The contribution is limited to the evaluation of industries growth from the view of sales and revenues, and future research can be extended to the evaluation from the view of market share, etc. Future research can also be extended to other macro-economic indicators, influencing the competitiveness of the mining industry and its sustainable tendency.

<p><em>Inventories of raw materials are the company's current assets used for production activities at the company. Companies need to do the inventory control because it affects the smooth production process. A shortage can lead to disruption of the production process. While excess inventory can lead to waste because companies need to spend more capital for inventory costs. The purpose of this study to determine whether the PT. Djitoe Indonesia Tobacco has made raw material inventory control appropriately. Raw material inventory control methods used in this study are a min-max stock. This method determines the amount of safety stock, minimum stock, maximum stock and order quantity. After doing research, PT. Djitoe Indonesia Tobacco excess raw material inventory. Total inventories are controlled using the min-max stock produces more efficient results when compared to the amount of the final inventory of the company. With min-max method the company is able to economize IDR 700,000 for each period.</em></p>

This study aims to analyze the availability of raw materials at PT. Akasha Wira Internasional Tbk, analyzes the total cost of raw material inventories, analyzes to reorder point raw materials, analyzes the amount of safety stock of raw materials, analyzes raw material inventory control. The analytical method used is the Economic Order Quantity method, which is to find out the optimal order or purchase quantity with the aim of minimizing inventory costs consisting of ordering costs and storage costs. The results showed that the purchase of optimal ades 1500 ML label raw materials according to the Economic Order Quantity method during the 2017 period for each message was greater than what the company did. The optimal purchase of raw materials that must be done by the company in 2017 is 397 m with the frequency of ordering that must be done as much as 2 times. The safety stock quantity that must be available in the warehouse is 480.15 m and the Re Order Point according to the Economic Order Quantity is at the time of the inventory in the warehouse is 512.91 m. The total inventory cost for the production process incurred according to the Economic Order Quantity method is smaller than the total inventory cost incurred by the company. Keywords: Inventory, Raw Materials, Economic Order Quantity  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ketersediaan bahan baku di PT. Pembelian bahan baku optimal yang harus dilakukan perusahaan pada tahun 2017 adalah sebesar 397 m dengan frekuensi pemesanan yang harus dilakukan adalah sebanyak 2 kali. Kuantitas persediaan pengaman yang harus tersedia digudang adalah sebesar 480,15 m dan titik pemesanan kembali menurut Economic Order Quantity yaitu saat persediaan digudang tinggal 512,91 m. Maka dalam proses produksi menurut EOQ lebih kecil diabnding dengan total pembiayaan dari perusahaan.  Kata Kunci :  Persediaan , Bahan Baku, Economic Order Quantity

AbstractThe identification of Oldowan hominin knapping skill levels has been a focus of numerous studies, with apparent variation in technical abilities identified between a number of Early Stone Age archaeological sites. Raw material variability, however, can play a significant role in the outcomes of knapping events as well as in the accuracy of analysis. Implications of such variability are yet to be fully understood. Here we present an experimental study to assess the effects that varying raw materials have on the identification of technological attributes typically associated with varying skill levels and whether it is possible to identify knapper skill levels across multiple raw materials. Variation was tested between raw materials from Olduvai Gorge across and between skill levels. The results suggest that knapping skill levels manifest differently in the material record across raw materials. In addition, we suggest that raw material has a significant effect on identifying knapper skill variation. This has implications for future research concerned with identifying knapper skill within and between early assemblages of differing raw materials.
