The purpose of this study is to understand the difference between Islamic banks' profits beforeand after interest restrictions on conventional bank deposits based on Supervision Acts No. SP-28 DKNS /OJK / 9/2014. The policies of Financial Services Authority can be measured into two profitability ratios:(1) return on assets (ROA), and (2) return on equity (ROE). There were 11 SHARIA banks in Indonesiaselected through purposive sampling technique. Secondary data were the quarterly report of the SHARIABank (six quarters), which focuses on the three quarters before and after implementing the policy. Datawere tested using hypothesis testing through paired sample t-tests with a significant level at 5% (α =0.05). The results of this study indicate that the profitability of SHARIA Banks projected by ROA and ROEhas differences before and after the conventional bank deposit interest rate.

The financing industry in Indonesia faces significant challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The amount of financing channeled to the public and debtors’ ability to pay decreases. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of Covid-19 on the financial performance of finance companies by analyzing financial ratios, namely the Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), NPF (NonPerforming Financing (NPF) Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE). This study applies a quantitative approach because the data collected are numbers. The data used are secondary data in the form of finance company statistics published by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), within the period of 9 months before (June 2019 - February 2020) and 9 months after (April 2020 - December 2020) the announcement of the first Covid-19 case in Indonesia on March 2nd, 2020. The test is conducted using th Paired Sample T-Test. The results of the data processing display that there are differences in the financial performance of finance companies in Indonesia before and after the Covid-19 which can be seen from the results of the Table of Paired Sample T-Test for the ratio of FDR, NPF, ROA, and ROE. This study aims to investigate the effect of profitability ratios, liquidity ratios, activity ratios and leverage ratios on the stock prices of agricultural sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2016-2020. The sampling technique in this study is the purposive sampling method. The type of data is quantitative research. The data sources used in the study are secondary data from the IDX website and the official website of related companies. The results show that the return on investment, earnings per share, quick ratio, and total assets turnover positively affect stock prices, while the return on equity, return on assets, current ratio, and debt ratio have a negative effect on stock prices.

AbstractThe purpose of this study are to measure and analyze operational efficiency that showed by bank financial ratios consisting of Operating Expenses to Operating Revenues (BOPO), Allowance for Possible Losses on Earning Assets (PPAP), Non Performing Financing (NPF) and Financing to Deposits Ratio (FDR) to Profitability that measured by Return on Assets (ROA). The population in this research is 11 Islamic Banking (BUS) by using total sampling technique in determine the sample. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the annual report of the bank period 2010 to 2016 published by each bank and matched with the data also by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The analysis technique used is panel data regression analysis. Based on the result of F-test in this research, it can be concluded that the independent variables (operational efficiency) have a significant effect on the dependent variable (profitability). Meanwhile, the t-test shows that BOPO ratio has a significant negative effect on profitability. For the other three ratios, PPAP, NPF and FDR have no significant effect on profitability of Islamic Banks (BUS).Keywords: Islamic banks; Operational efficiency; Profitability. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan menganalisis pengaruh efisiensi operasionalyang diproksikan dengan rasio keuangan bank yang terdiri dari rasio Biaya Operasionalterhadap Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO), Penyisihan Penghapusan Aktiva Produktif(PPAP), Non Performing Financing (NPF) dan Financing Deposit Ratio (FDR) terhadapprofitabilitas yang diukur dengan Return on Asset (ROA). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 11Bank Umum Syariah (BUS) dengan penggunaan teknik total sampling dalam penentuansampelnya. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang diperolehdari laporan tahunan bank periode 2010 hingga 2016 yang dipublikasikan oleh masing-masing bank dan dicocokkan dengan data yang juga dipublikasikan oleh Otoritas JasaKeuangan (OJK). Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi data panel. Berdasarkan hasil uji-F pada penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel independen (efisiensi operasional) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel dependen (profitabilitas). Sementara itu, hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa rasio BOPO berpengaruh negatif signifikanterhadap profitabilitas. Untuk tiga rasio lainnya yaitu PPAP, NPF dan FDR tidak memilikipengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas Bank Umum Syariah (BUS).Kata Kunci: Bank syariah; Efisiensi operasional; Profitabilitas.

This study aims to analyze the effect of mudharabah financing, murabahah financing, and ijarah financing on return on assets (ROA) with operating costs and operating income (BOPO) as intervening variables. This research is quantitative research using secondary data in panel data with a purposive sampling technique. The sample used is three Islamic commercial banks registered with the financial services authority from 2017 to 2020. Data analysis includes descriptive test, stationary test, regression test, classical assumption test, path analysis test, and Sobel test. The results of this study indicate that mudharabah financing and ijarah financing do not affect ROA. Murabahah and BOPO financing has negative and significant effects on ROA. BOPO did not mediate the effect of mudharabah, murabahah, and ijarah financing on ROA.

This study aimed to examine the effect of profitability ratio on stock price of companies  listed  in  LQ45  index  in  Indonesia  Stock  Exchange  (BEI).  Profitability ratios here in include Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE),  and Eearning Per Share  (EPS). This study  was conducted to assess the financial performance of the company to generate earnings from an investment.This study uses secondary data. The population in this study is the companies included in the LQ45 index from  2010-2013 amounting to 78. The total sample is 16 companies  belonging  to  and  representing  several  sectors  including  the  financial sector companies, automotive, property, plantation, infrastructure, mining, industrial cement, as well as the consumer goods  industry are consistently incorporated in the four observation period 2010-2013 in LQ45 index that has been determined through purposive  sampling  method.  Method  of  hypothesis  testing  using  Classical Assumption  Test,  Regression,  t  test,  F  test,  and  the  coefficient  of  determination  by alpha (α) of 5%.Regression analysis showed that in partial Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA) and Return On Equity (ROE) significantly influence the stock price while the variable Eearning Per Share (EPS) has no significant effect on stock price. Simultaneously  all  variables  Net  Profit  Margin  (NPM),  Return  on  Assets  (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Eearning Per Share (EPS) have a significant effect on stock price. The value of coefficient of determination (R2) of  0.899, which means that the independent variable Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Eearning Per Share (EPS) is able to explain the variation of the dependent variable stock price by 89,9%, while the remaining 10.1 % is explained by other variables outside of the variables used in the study.

This study aimed to examine whether there are differences in the profitability of a company before and after winning TOP CSR. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the financial statements of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2008-2017. The sample of this study consisted of 17 companies using purposive sampling, ie companies that won TOP CSR from 2011-2017, companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and companies that had issued 3 years of financial statements after winning the CSR TOP. The variable used in this study is profitability which is proxied by Return On Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE) and Net Profit Margin (NPM). Hypothesis testing is carried out by Paired Sample T-test using the IBM SPSS Version 20 software. Based on the tests carried out, it can be concluded that there are differences in profitability as seen from the ROA side, whereas when viewed from the ROE and NPM side it is not there are differences in profitability.

This Research aims to find out the difference between the average of abnormal return and trading volume activity of the transportation companies’ stocks listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange, a period 2014-2018 before and after Ramadhan. The research method is a quantitative method. Th kind of data used is secondary data. The sample is 11 transportation companies listed ini Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2014-2018, while the sampling technique applies purposive sampling. The findings show that there is no difference on the average of abnormal return before and after Ramdahan, and there is no difference on the average of trading volume activity in 2015 and 2018, whereas in 2014, 2016, and 2017 there is a difference on the average of trading volume activity. Meanwhile, the abnormal return and trading volume activity simultaneously influence toward Ramadhan effect with the result of the coefficient determination of 50%, it means that 50% of Ramadhan effect variable is explained by return and trading volume activity.

The objective of this research is to examine the difference of abnormal return, and companies’ financial performance, before and after merger or acquisition. The companies’ financial performances are projected by financial ratios, which are return on asset and return on equity. This research is expected to help economic actors in making economic decisions related to merger and acquisition. The samples in this study are 11 companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (Bursa Efek Indonesia) in the year 2010-2011, except financial sectors and done corporate action merger or acquisition. The sample in this study determined based on purposive sampling. Data used in this study is secondary data such as annual reports or financial reports. The results from this study are (1) there is no difference of abnormal return before and after merger or acquisition (2) there is no difference of companies’ financial performance that projected by return on asset before and after merger or acquisition (3) there is a difference of companies’ financial performance that projected by return on equity before and after merger or acquisition. This study aims to determine the effect of Net Proft Margin, Return On Assets, and Return On Equity Against the Stock Price of Companies in the Financial Services Subsector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2018. This research has occurred a phenomenon and identification of a problem that is quite interesting. The data source used from this research is only secondary data. The selection of samples is based on the criteria and subsector companies of 17 financial institutions and samples taken by 8 companies using the purposive sampling method in the financial institutions subsector companies. This study uses the data analysis methods of classical assumptions and hypothesis testing. The results showed that partially Net Profit Margin and Return On Assets have a significant effect on Stock Prices and partially showed Return On Equity had no significant effect on Stock Prices. This study aims to find out how significant the difference caused by the covid-19 pandemic is on the Profitability (ROA,ROE,NPM) of the Kompas 100 company.In this research, using descriptive comparative with quantitative approach and using secondary data. The population includes companies listed on the Kompas 100 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, then selected using purposive sampling technique, obtained a total of 46 companies that meet the criteria. The profitability uses (ROA, ROE, NPM). Then the ratio was tested differently using the Wilcoxon sign rank test with the help of SPSS 22.The results showed that there was a significant difference in profitability ratios which included ROA, ROE and NPM at the Kompas 100 company between the period before and during the covid-19 pandemic.
