In an era of rapid technological development and increasing competition, the value of the mass customer as a source of profit is growing steadily. The client becomes the main asset of the bank, its needs and requirements are in the focus of the banking business. The survival strategy in the struggle for the mass customer is based on the submission of all business processes and procedures to one single goal – customer satisfaction. In the future, business performance will be determined by the degree of customer satisfaction. The economic crisis, the crisis of industrial production is pushing for a review of key aspects of banking marketing, which should explore the interaction of the industrial and banking sectors and generate solutions to increase the effectiveness of their interaction. The crisis confirms that it is necessary to improve the tools of banking marketing in the industrial sector of the economy of the region. Computer models, where the atoms are agents, are called agentbased models. In most works devoted to the construction and study of agent-based models, the rules for interaction between agents are extremely simple. Nevertheless, the result is quite meaningful meaningful results. The issues of improving the use of bank marketing tool to improve the efficiency of interaction between the industrial and banking sectors of the economy are considered. Reasoning upon the economic aspects of the effectiveness of bank marketing, the authors state that a marketing performance evaluation system should have not only mechanisms for a posteriori analysis (that is, analysis of the results of acceptance or rejection of an offer), but also possibility of priori assessment of marketing offers, campaigns, profitability, and even marketing budgets. The system should contain a tool that simulates the appearance of clients, the selection of offers to clients and assessing the acceptance or rejection of offers, probable consumption or non-consumption of the proposed product.

Abstract Improvement of business processes, increasing customer satisfaction, and reducing organizational costs are important issues that institutions deal with. In this context, six sigma methodology has been considered as a systematic approach to achieve these goals by many organizations. In recent years, non-industrial sectors, where human data are involved, have also applied this technique to improve their processes quality. For application of six sigma procedure for non-industrial issues, there are several challenges that are not encountered in the conventional implementation of Six Sigma procedure. Most of these challenges are experienced on gathering the human (operators, experts) expressed data required for the six sigma projects on the phase of measurement and analysis. The challenges identification and analysis give the ability to address them and provide practical solutions. In this study, in addition to different stages of the Six Sigma methodology, its implementation has been investigated in the non-industrial sector in the DMAIC phases. The challenges dealt with in this research include the impact of external factors on human data, limitations in the design of experiments for human data, qualitative data and discrete data as well as one-sided data. Also, considering a case study on the implementation of six sigma methodology to enhance customer satisfaction in an East Azerbaijan Gas company, strategies are presented for overcoming these obstacles.

Background: Despite being strategic, state-owned enterprises (SOEs) have failed to fulfil their mandate. Supply chain performance is ineffective largely because of weak organisational culture. Objectives: To explore the extent to which organisational cultural factors have influenced the supply chain performance of SOEs, review the literature; effectiveness of attaining financial targets, customer satisfaction, internal business processes, learning and growth; time orientation on the supply chain metric of delivery. The supply chain metric of flexibility; profitability on cost reduction; ‘no ownership’ culture on decision-making; and the level of customer satisfaction.Method: A mixed-method was used. The population comprised managers, employees and clients of eight selected SOEs. Judgmental, random and convenience sampling were employed. Questionnaires and interviews were the research instruments and quantitative and qualitative analyses were conducted. Findings are presented thematically, in line with the research questions. Results: SOEs were not meeting financial targets, not satisfying customers, poor internal business processes not attaining learning and growth targets. Organisational cultural variables were weak; affecting flexibility, no timely delivery of goods and services. Also influenced the behaviour of human resources and an indirect effect on customer satisfaction, cost-saving and profitability in the SOEs.Conclusion: The SOEs failed to meet financial, customer, learning and growth targets. The internal business processes were not effective. The culture did not promote efficiency. The study recommends that commitment of leadership on human behaviour is necessary for effective supply chain performance and strategy implementation. Constant environmental scanning, strategic alliances, rationalisation of remuneration and sound corporate governance are essential.

The quality of information systems affects the company's business performance. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze business processes to determine any discrepancies between the planned business processes and the actual ones. Based on the results of this analysis, the business process can be improved. The fundamental factor of manufacturing companies is production process. In reality, there are many discrepancies between the actual business processes with the pre-planned, so that there should be analyzed. The analysis can be performed by modeling the business process using Coloured Petri Nets (CPN). In this study, the objectives are to determine the level of conformance checking of business processes, reachability graph and the bottleneck analysis. The results of the analysis are used to construct a recommended model. Based on the analysis of the case study, e.g. a steel industry in Indonesia, the recommended model has a better value than initial model.
