The problem of criteria and methods of historical source criticism has rarely been the subject of special study. It is most often set forth in textbooks of historical method or in general introductions to historical study. And yet a number of extremely complex and important problems are related to source criticism: principles of evidence in historical study, the relation between deduction and induction, between synthesis and analysis, and so on.For historians of medieval Russia, as for medievalists in general, these problems are of particular significance. In this field we constantly encounter the situation when one or another fact is attested by a small number of sources, sometimes a single one. The paucity of sources, their far from complete information, and their frequent tendentiousness—all this confronts scholars with the necessity of studying them with intensity and with extreme caution.

The article reveals the problem of increasing the efficiency of teaching foreign languages to students of non-linguistic specialties by means of introducing a system of pedagogical teaching technologies into the educational process. It has been determined that pedagogical technologies of teaching are such pedagogical technologies, which are based on modern positions of professional development of a person and aimed at achieving educational goals. In the process of learning foreign languages, they are a way of a phased system of organization of the communicative interaction between a teacher and a student in the conditions of operative feedback between them through the use of specific methods, forms and means of learning. It has been found that the leading class of pedagogical technologies for teaching foreign languages is a communicatively oriented technique – a project technique and an appropriate system of its successive and phased implementation, in which learning emerges as a model of real-world foreign communication. The article provides a classification of pedagogical techniques for teaching foreign languages to students of the economic area of expertise, which can contribute to their more systematic use to improve the efficiency of the educational process in higher education institutions. Among the subspecies of communicative oriented techniques of teaching foreign languages to students of economic specialties the following subcategories have been identified: subjects of educational process management – techniques of teaching, learning, partnership interaction and instrumental techniques; the place in the organization of the educational process – the technique of in-class, out-of-class and independent activities; according to the methodological approach – technique-modernization and technique-transformation and in the terms of implementation – meta-techniques, branch macro techniques, modular-local and micro techniques. The author sees the directions for further research in the development of tools for the implementation of the above techniques in accordance with the characteristics of the professional training of students of economic area of expertise.

As this decision was considered better than a temporary withdrawal from practice, students and their mentors had to adapt. For the future we have another certainty, that the pandemic will not stop very soon. Otherwise, the future is a matter of probability. The article deals with the importance of methodological approach to the formation of conflictological culture. The author notes that the methodological basis for the development of a harmoniously developed personality in a technical institution of higher education is the formation of conflictological culture of future engineers, which is a component of professional competence and is based on humanitarian grounds of an educational institution. The process of formation of conflictological culture of future specialists of technical specialties, within the context of professional training, from a methodological point of view is considered from the position of systematic, activity-based, culturological and creative, and competent approaches. The systematic approach in the methodology of formation of conflictological culture is regarded as the systematization of knowledge of culturological and conflictological orientation in the hierarchy of specialized knowledge and its use during the educational process as gaining further experience of their application in professional activity. In the formation of conflictological culture the activity-based approach is a professional and creative direction, through which the skills and abilities of the components of conflictological culture based on the knowledge acquired are formed. An active-based approach in the methodology of conflictological culture will allow motivating knowledge related to the humanitarian and culturological direction, teaching students to make decisions independently and to assess the situation, to form the ability of self-control in any situation, to promote the creative mindset. The culturological approach is not only the basis of methodology in the formation of conflictological culture, and its implementation should be clearly traced throughout the whole period of young person’s studying in higher educational institution. In the implementation of culturological approach during the formation of conflictological culture, considerable attention is paid to directing young people to an understanding of national traditions and culture that are not opposed to other cultures, but bear cultural development and the ability to apply it properly in the professional field; personality’s capacity for cultural self-development and cultural realization; the creative development of future engineer, based on the cultural and technical heritage of society. This approach is basic and on the basis of this approach the methodology of formation of conflictological culture is built. In the methodology of formation of conflictological culture, the competence-based approach is considered as a basic top for the professional development of future engineer, which will allow effective interaction between the teacher and the student in the formation of necessary competences based on conflictological culture as a component of professional competence. The competence-based approach is important for the formation of professional competencies, but without using other pedagogical approaches, it is not possible to form conflictological culture as we consider. For the improvement, development and self-realization of student, the interrelation of all the approaches is required, and for their effective application in the methodology of formation of conflictological culture they should be applied in a certain order.

When examining legal, organizational and methodological issues of forensic expertise for the protection of intellectual property the most common forensic examinations are authorship investigation, computer forensic examination, phonoscopic, linguistic, engineering, patent examinations as well as examination of documents. Comparative analysis of the procedural status of an expert in various types of process and in the federal law “On State Forensic Expert Activities in the Russian Federation” is given. Specialist’s procedural position and the evidentiary value of the results of his participation in various types of proceedings in the cases of this category are analysed. Attention is paid to organizational and legal issues of conducting forensic examinations in non-state expert organizations. Based on the analysis of an array of expert opinions, specialists’ opinions and advice on issues related to intellectual property performed in more than 50 nongovernmental organizations positioning themselves as forensic and on monitoring of the websites of these organizations on the Internet, it has been established that the quality of opinions and consultations has little to do with the information provided on the sites. Scientists and specialists for whom forensic expert activity is not the primary one are often involved in conducting forensic examinations in these organizations. They do not know the basics of substantive and procedural law; they do not always realize the legal consequences of their opinions for the participants in court proceedings and exceed their competence. In context of a specific example typical mistakes in cases related to the protection of intellectual property often made by non-state experts are shown. Although the legislator declares the unity of the scientific and methodological approach to expert practice, professional training and the specialization of experts, these requirements often are not met. There is no unity of forensic expert techniques developed in different departments. For other participants in legal proceedings these techniques are practically inaccessible and their testing and implementation are still not often done at the interdepartmental level. The importance of the activities of the Technical Committee for Standardization TC 134 “Forensic examination” is emphasized.
