This study analyzes the effect of public service ads on the attitudes of students with cognitive dissonance (Cognitive Dissonance) as moderating in the city of Yogyakarta. This study took a sample of students in the city of Yogyakarta from Diploma to S3. Samples were distributed to 250 respondents, but only 223 were processed. The sampling method using a non-probability sampling approach was purposive sampling. Before the data analysis is performed first, the validity and reliability test is performed, in the validity test two approaches are used, namely using Pearson’s Coefficient Correlation and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). ILM3 and CD1 are invalid, the rest are valid, while the validity with CFA found three invalid statement items namely ILM2, CD1, CD2 and the rest are all valid. ILM reliability tests are all reliable above 0.6. This study uses multiple regression analysis with the help of the SPSS series 23 program, the results of multiple regression shows there is an influence of Public Service Advertising (PSA) on Student Attitudes (SK), while Cognitive Dissonance does not significantly affect the relationship between Public Service Adverts and Student Attitudes. For hypothesis testing only the first hypothesis is proven, the other hypotheses are not proven.

Corruption is the biggest obstacle in the way of human development. In a highly corrupt public life, citizens’ satisfaction seems to be a mirage. But can citizens’ satisfaction be possible even if there is less chance of sounding the death knell for corruption? To investigate this, this study examines the mediating effect of trust in democracy and civil society participation in the relationship of corruption and citizens’ satisfaction in the context of Somalia, considered to be the most corrupt country in the world. Using a survey, a total of 205 valid responses from public service users in Somalia were put into confirmatory factor analysis. The empirical results show the partial mediation of civil society participation and trust in democracy; however, civil society participation is more effective than trust in democracy in mediating the relationship of corruption and citizens’ satisfaction, because of less negative indirect effect.

Screening tools in health and education provide quick indicators that anticipate diagnostic evaluation and treatment. Faced with the socio-emotional competences of children, the Ages & Stages Questionnaires: Social-Emotional (ASQ:SE) was used in thepopulation of children enrolled in public pre-schools in the city of Rio de Janeiro during 2011. The objective of this work was to investigate aspects of its validity and reliability. Data from 23,334 children (50.6% boys) being an average age of 5 years old (SD: 3 months) and enrolled in 625 pre-schools were analyzed. After an intensive data analysis, the Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analysis, the results were favorable to the multidimensional model with a social and emotional dimension: χ2 (463) = 46363.495, p <0.001; RMSEA = 0.067; CFI = 0.918; TLI = 0.913. Reliability indicators were adequate. The results confirmedvalidity aspects of the ASQ:SE, thereby verifying its use for children aged 5 years old.

The research is to find out and analyze the contribution of Original income Equalization Funds against the region and the financial performance of local Government Counties and the city of se-West Java province. Hypothesis testing in this study using multiple regression analysis (Multiple Regression) on the grounds that its independent variable more than one. This analysis is used to determine the relationship between financial performance areas with independent variables (the original Revenue Equalization Fund and regional). To know the influence between independent variables with the performance levels of local government then performed testing of hypothesis testing research on the variables with the determination coefficient and t-test. Linear regression analysis of the barganda equation KKPD = 1.452 + 0, 561PAD – 0, 171DP + e. Whereas determinasinya coefficients (R2) of 25.3%. based on the research results obtained the conclusion that Equalization Fund of PAD effect partially against the financial performance of local government.

Although the chocolate market has become increasingly larger and more competitive, no diagnostic measures were found to evaluate relationship marketing from customer perspectives in this very attractive market in the B2C context. Thus, the main purpose of this paper is to obtain validity evidence for the Chocolate Brands Relationship Scale (CBR Scale), a scientific instrument that enables the identification and measurement of the prime aspects perceived by chocolate brands’ customers as relevant in their relationship with such brands. Additionally, we tested the influence of the relationship, evaluated from the validated CBR Scale, with the chocolate consumers’ satisfaction. We conducted a survey with 523 Brazilian consumers, and data were analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis. The CBR Scale is composed of 21 items divided into three factors: Brand Trust, Shopping Experience and Perceived Quality. As theoretical implications, we produce a valid and reliable operational measure, offering a useful starting point from which further theoretical and empirical research of customer relationship management, branding strategies, brand loyalty, and brand experience in the chocolate market can be built. Managerially, the CBR Scale is a valid instrument for practitioners and managers in the chocolate sector to access customers, establishing and developing long-term relationships with them.
