In the 2nd century of the Hijri calendar, when various believer groups emerged, the fact that Abu Hanifa, one of the first representatives of rational religious discourse, spoke about the subject of religious issues, means laying the foundations of the Sunni understanding of theology afterwards. Indeed, Selefîlik, Asaira and Maturidite maintained his views. During his lifetime, he drew attention with his different methodological approach to Islamic issues. The fact that Abu Hanifa is one of the prominent names in the rationale of religion and that he maintains his identity/stance in the face of ideas and opinions that can be evaluated as ‘taassup’ once again appears in the issue of “the takfir of the people of the Qiblah.” At this point, his position should be seen as standing in a rather moderate line as the name that first introduced the principle of “not declaring the people of the Qiblah,” which is a surrounding principle for believers. In the context of the debates on the Iman-Amel relationship, the examination of the issue of ‘takfir’ in the center of the ‘takfir of the people of the Qiblah’ obliges the researchers to evaluate it in a separate position. The main purpose of the article is to reveal the identity of the people of Qibla with reference to Abu Hanifa and to discuss who this refers to while focusing on the subject of “Takfir.”

THIS PAPER ARGUES that the call to teach ought to be conceptualized not so much in terms of subject matter (‘what’) or teaching method (‘how’) but with respect to the subjectivity of the people involved – that is, of the one who teaches and of the one who is taught. Building explicitly on the work of Emmanuel Levinas, the essay develops the idea of a responsible subject as the condition that makes visible the distinctiveness about the call to teach, suggesting that God's call to teach manifests itself through the face of the student, in the asymmetric relation between the teacher and the student as the other. In doing so, the teacher becomes a responsible subject for and to the student, instead of merely for the subject matter and the methods of teaching. Familiar tensions in teaching illustrate this call to responsibility.

In the face of the recent backlashes against homosexual persons in Africa, on the ground that the phenomenon is un-African and/or threat to procreation and marital values, it is pertinent to review the discourse in the light of how ancient Africans perceived the reality. This is imperative given the lack of consensus on the part of scientists to disinter a conclusive finding on what causes homosexual behaviours among humans. In this research, I employ traditional Yorùbá philosophy to provide a plausible justification for homosexuality among the people. In the face of this justification via Yorùbá folklore, I find that there is no documented evidence among the ancient Yorùbá that is suggestive of discrimination and stigmatization of homosexuals and inter-sex persons. As homosexual persons were respected but not criminalized, this study recommends the regurgitation of this outlook in the contemporaneous dealings with homosexual persons, beginning with the repealing of the Same-Sex Marriage Prohibition Act of 2014 in Nigeria, which is inconsistent with African values and outlooks on the subject.

The purpose of the article to research the creative work of choreographers of Ukraine, who devoted a significant role in the staging work to dances on a labor theme. Relying on a certain historical concreteness, they accurately reflected different aspects of the relationship of people and classes in work with the expressive means of choreography. Most of them reflect the artistic images of people for whom work is the first vital need, a source of creative joy, and a sacred duty to society. Therefore, the content of their works was a love of work, a creative attitude towards it, a constant desire to improve their work, to increase their contribution to the common cause. The modern world has, to some extent, changed the attitude and attitudes of people in production, as well as their attitude to work. Therefore, artists-choreographers face new tasks in creative work on the creation of dances on a labor theme, and at the same time in reproducing life problems that concern a modern working man. The research methodology is based on the use of comparative and art historical methods. This methodological approach allows us to reveal and analyze the features and significance of dances on labor topics, which were staged by famous Ukrainian choreographers in folk stage choreography. The scientific novelty of the work lies in expanding the process of the creative associative imagination of the choreographer-director, using the images of workers from the people choreography, first of all, he must study and analyze well how people, their morals, way of life, technology have changed in the new conditions of society. New life gives birth to new dances, new plots, new choreographic compositions. Conclusions. When staging a folk-stage dance on a labor theme, in which the main character is the folk image of a worker, the choreographer, combining various arts in musical-plastic synthesis and possessing all the expressive means of dance, must understand well that the image of a single worker-worker is not the traits of a real person are simply written off; this is a generalized, typified image of a certain group of working people. In some cases, these generalizations in scale may be the face of the workers of an entire large enterprise. Thanks to the artist's creative work, the artistic images of workers reflect not only the production process, their relationship in production, but also form the national consciousness of society.

The article presents a methodological approach to studying iterative processes in the school course of geometry, by the example of constructing a Koch snowflake fractal curve and calculating a few characteristics of it. The interactive creative environment 1C:MathKit is chosen to visualize the method discussed. By performing repetitive constructions and algebraic calculations using ICT tools, students acquire a steady skill of work with geometric objects of various levels of complexity, comprehend the possibilities of mathematical interpretation of iterative processes in practice, and learn how to understand the dialectical unity between finite and infinite parameters of flat geometric figures. When students are getting familiar with such contradictory concepts and categories, that replenishes their experience of worldview comprehension of the subject areas they study through the concept of “big ideas”. The latter allows them to take a fresh look at the processes in the world around. The article is a matter of interest to schoolteachers of computer science and mathematics, as well as university scholars who teach the course “Concepts of modern natural sciences”.

This paper seeks to elaborate on the textual interpretation of Q.S Muhammad verse 4 and Q.S at Taubah verse 5. These two verses are often employed by the extremist Muslim groups to legitimize their destructive acts carried out on groups considered as being infidels and as such lawfully killed. The interpretation was conducted using the double movement hermeneutics methodology offered by Fazlur Rahman. After reinterpretation, the two verses contain moral values, namely the war ordered by God must be reactive, fulfill the ethics of "violence" and be the last solution. Broadly speaking, the warfare commanded in the Qur'an aims to establish a benefit for humanity on the face of the earth by eliminating every crime that exists. These two verses in the contemporary socio-historical context in Indonesia can be implemented as a basis for combating the issue of hoaxes and destructive acts of extremist Muslim groups. Because both are crimes and have negative implications for the people good and even able to threaten the unity of mankind.

Starting from the cry of the seraphim in Isaiahʹ s prophecy, this article aims to follow the rhythm of the sacred harmony, transcending the symbols of the angelic world and of the divine names, to get to the face to face meeting between man and God, just as the seraphim, reflecting their existence, stand face to face. The finality of the sacred harmony is that, during the search for God inside the human being, He reveals Himself, which is the reason for the affirmation of “I Am that I Am.” Through its hypnotic cyclicality, the profane temporality has its own musicality. Its purpose is to incubate the unsuspected potencies of the beings “caught” in the material world. Due to the fact that it belongs to the aeonic time, the divine music will exceed in harmony the mechanical musicality of profane time, dilating and temporarily cancelling it. Isaiah is witness to such revelation offering access to the heavenly concert. He is witness to divine harmonies produced by two divine singers, whose musical history is presented in our article. The seraphim accompanied the chosen people after their exodus from Egypt. The cultic use of the trumpet is related to the characteristics and behaviour of the seraphim. The seraphic music does not belong to the Creator, but its lyrics speak about the presence of the Creator in two realities, a spiritual and a material one. Only the transcendence of the divine names that are sung/cried affirms a unique reality: God. The chant-cry is a divine invocation with a double aim. On the one hand, the angels and the people affirm God’s presence and call His name and, on the other, the Creator affirms His presence through the angels or in man, the one who is His image and His likeness. The divine music does not only create, it is also a means of communion, implementing the relation of man to God and, thus, God’s connection with man. It is a relation in which both filiation and paternity disappear inside the harmony of the mutual recognition produced by music, a reality much older than Adam’s language.

Actually, basic needs postulates securing of the elementary conditions of existence to every human being. Despite of the practical and theoretical importance of the subject the greatest irony is non- availability of any universal preliminary definition of the concept of basic needs. Moreover, this becomes the reason for unpredictability of various political programmes aiming at providing basic needs to the people. The shift is necessary for development of this or any other conception. No labour reforms could be made in history till labours were treated as objects. Its only after they were started being treating as subjects, labour unions were allowed to represent themselves in strategy formulations that labour reforms could become a reality. The present research paper highlights the basic needs of Human Rights in life.
