A description of handover processes in hospital: A survey from Jakarta, IndonesiaBackground: Handover at the change of nurse shift is one of an important role in patient safety and continuiting quality of care.Purpose: To optimization of implementation of handover processes in hospital: A survey from Jakarta, IndonesiaMethod: An analysis study with approach fishbone diagram, start with filling in questionnaires, observations and interviews and then analyzed using fishbone diagrams. Based on fishbone diagrams, the problem was obtained that the implementation of handover of patient patients was not optimal.Results: To optimize the implementation of handover, implementation was carried out in the form of improving SPO, improving nurses' effective communication with SBAR and making role play video handover.Conclusion: The result is the handover can be optimal with the role and function of management of the head nurse especially a directing role. Recommendations given by follow up and revising the hand over standars, make a pilot project nursing ward and evaluate the implementation of the patient's handover through regular supervision.Keywords: Fishbone Diagram; Handover; Head Nurse; Optimization; DirectingPendahuluan: Serah terima perawat antar shift jaga merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam mencapai keselamatan pasien dan mempertahankan kualitas asuhan.Tujuan: Meningkatkan optimalisasi fungsi pengarahan kepala ruang dalam pelaksanaan serah tertima antar shift di RS X Jakarta.Metode: Menggunakan study analysis situasi dengan pendekatan diagram tulang ikan, dimulai dengan mengisi kuesioner, observasi dan wawancara dan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan diagram tulang ikan. Berdasarkan diagram tulang ikan, masalah diperoleh bahwa pelaksanaan serah terima pasien pasien belum optimal.Hasil: Untuk mengoptimalkan pelaksanaan serah terima, implementasi dilakukan dalam bentuk meningkatkan SPO, meningkatkan komunikasi efektif perawat dengan SBAR dan membuat role play video serah terima.Simpulan: Hasilnya adalah serah terima dapat dioptimalkan dengan peran dan fungsi manajemen kepala ruang  khususnya fungsi pengarahan. Rekomendasi yang diberikan dengan menindaklanjuti dan merevisi SOP serah terima, membuat ruang percontohan dan mengevaluasi pelaksanaan serah terima pasien melalui pengawasan rutin.

<p><strong><em>Abstract<br /></em></strong><em>Laboratory is one of the supporting facilities in im[roving the learning process. Problems found by students regarding the information system laboratory facilities at STMIK Indonesia Padang are</em><em> the computers that suddenly die when operated, the less cold room, display data is blurred, making the inconvenience in the learning process that causes the students less satisfied with the services provided. Students will feel satisfied if the service is expected to match the received. Therefore, a decision support system is needed to analyze the quality of services provided to the students so that it can support the role and function of the laboratory optimally and what attributes need to be improved the quality of service. The method used is Fuzzy Service Quality (Servqual) method. The results showed that the service quality received was not in accordance with the expected because there is a gap of -1.55 for tangibles dimension. Attributes that need to be improved the quality of services are laboratory space is cool and comfortable, the use of laboratories relevant to the field of science, the responsibility of laboratory assistant, the availability of professional teachers and attitudes and behavior of labor officers.<br /></em></p><p><strong><em>Abstrak<br /></em></strong>Laboratorium merupakan salah satu fasilitas pendukung dalam meningkatkan proses pembelajaran. Permasalahan yang ditemukan mahasiswa mengenai fasilitas laboratorium sistem informasi pada STMIK Indonesia Padang adalah komputer yang tiba-tiba mati saat dioperasikan, ruangan yang kurang dingin, data <em>display</em> yang buram sehingga membuat ketidaknyamanan dalam proses pembelajaran yang menyebabkan mahasiswa kurang puas terhadap layanan yang diberikan. Mahasiswa akan merasa puas apabila layanan yang diharapkan sesuai dengan yang diterima. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan suatu sistem pendukung keputusan untuk menganalisis kualitas layanan yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa sehingga dapat mendukung peran dan fungsi laboratorium secara optimal serta atribut apa saja yang perlu ditingkatkan kualitas layanannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode <em>Fuzzy Service Quality </em>(<em>Servqua</em>l). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas layanan yang diterima belum sesuai dengan yang diharapkan karena terdapat <em>gap</em> sebesar -1.55 untuk dimensi <em>tangibles</em>. Atribut yang perlu ditingkatkan kualitas layanannya yaitu ruangan laboratorium yang sejuk dan nyaman, penggunaan laboratorium yang relevan dengan bidang ilmu, tanggungjawab asisten labor, tersedianya tenaga pengajar yang professional dan sikap serta perilaku petugas labor</p><p><strong><em>Kata kunci</em></strong><strong> : sistem pendukung keputusan, laboratorium, <em>fuzzy</em>, <em>servqual</em></strong></p><p><strong><em><br /></em></strong></p>

The role of a head nurse in optimizing of management function in supervision of nursing care documentation at X hospital in JakartaBackground: Nursing documentation is important thing that  is indicator quality of care. Since the nursing documentation is still a poor quality, it requires a supervision by the head nurse.Purpose: The head of nursing is responsible for the direction, organization and strategic planning collaborate with nursing staffs in ensuring the quality of nursing care to achieve accurate, effective and efficient documentation and to complete supervision.Method: A pilot project using questionnaire and observation methods was conducted at difference times on two hospital units in Jakarta.Results: The descriptive analysis results showed that among 18 nurses, 4 nurses believed that nursing documentation is an important, effective and clear way to  ease their job. Hence, supervision is continuity needed to support the improvement of health care quality. The innovative projects will be applied in health care.Conclusion:  Nursing documentation must show continuity and quality of  care nursing under the control and supervision of the head nurse and EMR is used as the instrument for documentation.Keywords :  The role; Head nurse; Management; Supervision; Nursing care; DocumentationPendahuluan: Dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan adalah hal yang penting karena menjadi indikator kualitas perawatan. Penerapan dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan saat ini belum optimal sehingga membutuhkan arahan dan supervisi dari Kepala Ruang/Kepala Unit.Tujuan: Tercapainya supervisi dan keberhasilan pelaksanaan dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan yang komprehensif, berkesinambungan, efektif dan  efisien.Metode: Metode pilot project di salah satu Rumah Sakit di Jakarta dengan pengambilan data melalui  observasi dan kuestioner. Instrumen diujikan pada dua ruangan dalam  waktu yang berbeda.Hasil: Analisis deskripsi pada  sejumlah 18 perawat, 4 orang menyatakan bermanfaat, penting dan mudah dalam penerapannya. Supervisi dilakukan untuk memberikan support terhadap kelangsungan pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan yang berkesinambungan. Proyek inovasi akan ditindaklanjuti dan diaplikasikan dalam program kerja bidang pelayanan keperawatan.Simpulan: Asuhan keperawatan yang berkualitas memerlukan adanya supervisi. Sarannya penggunaan Instrumen Supervise Dokumentasi Asuhan Keperawatan akan disesuaikan dengan penggunaan pencatatan asuhan keperawatan Elektronic Medical Record/EMR

Chronic lung allograft dysfunction (CLAD) is the main cause of poor survival and low quality of life of lung transplanted patients. Several studies have addressed the role of dendritic cells, macrophages, T cells, donor specific as well as anti-HLA antibodies, and interleukins in CLAD, but the expression and function of immune checkpoint molecules has not yet been analyzed, especially in the two CLAD subtypes: BOS (bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome) and RAS (restrictive allograft syndrome). To shed light on this topic, we conducted an observational study on eight consecutive grafts explanted from patients who received lung re-transplantation for CLAD. The expression of a panel of immune molecules (PD1/CD279, PDL1/CD274, CTLA4/CD152, CD4, CD8, hFoxp3, TIGIT, TOX, B-Cell-Specific Activator Protein) was analyzed by immunohistochemistry in these grafts and in six control lungs. Results showed that RAS compared to BOS grafts were characterized by 1) the inversion of the CD4/CD8 ratio; 2) a higher percentage of T lymphocytes expressing the PD-1, PD-L1, and CTLA4 checkpoint molecules; and 3) a significant reduction of exhausted PD-1-expressing T lymphocytes (PD-1pos/TOXpos) and of exhausted Treg (PD-1pos/FOXP3pos) T lymphocytes. Results herein, although being based on a limited number of cases, suggest a role for checkpoint molecules in the development of graft rejection and offer a possible immunological explanation for the worst prognosis of RAS. Our data, which will need to be validated in ampler cohorts of patients, raise the possibility that the evaluation of immune checkpoints during follow-up offers a prognostic advantage in monitoring the onset of rejection, and suggest that the use of compounds that modulate the function of checkpoint molecules could be evaluated in the management of chronic rejection in LTx patients.

I investigated how school library work is socially organized and how that social organization affects cooperation with teachers and others in the school. The research uses the institutional ethnography frame of inquiry, providing a way of looking at how the role and function of the school librarian/ school media specialist is socially-organized and institutionally-oriented. The social organization was apparent in the categories of collaboration, technology, and access. A better understanding of how library work is socially organized will help working librarians understand how to negotiate their workplace more effectively. An understanding of how to examine the social organization of an institution can help inform research and teaching in school librarianship as well. This presentation is a follow-up to a presentation at IASL 2008 conference in Berkeley, California.

Tujuan kebijakan transformasi perpustakaan berbasis inklusi sosial adalah untuk meningkatkan literasi informasi berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi, meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan kesejahteraan masyarakat  memperkuat peran dan fungsi perpustakaan, agar tidak hanya sekadar tempat penyimpanan dan peminjaman buku, tapi menjadi tempat pembelajaran sepanjang hayat dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Perpustakaan harus  memfasilitasi masyarakat dalam mengembangkan potensinya dengan melihat keragaman budaya,  keinginan menerima perubahan, serta menawarkan kesempatan  usaha, melindungi dan melestarikan budaya dan Hak Azasi Manusia dan sesuai dengan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Transformasi perpustakaan berbasis inklusi sosial merupakan wujud perpustakaan sebagai pembelajaran sepanjang hayat. Di mana perpustakaan bukan hanya sebagai pusat sumber informasi tetapi lebih dari itu sebagai tempat mentransformasikan diri sebagai pusat sosial budaya dengan memberdayakankan dan mendemokratisasi masyarakat dan komunitas lokal,  dalam upaya peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat.   The objective of the library transformation policy based on social inclusion is to increase information literacy based on Information and Communication Technology, improve the quality of life and welfare of the community, strengthen the role and function of the library, so that it is not just a place for storing and borrowing books, but a place for lifelong learning and community empowerment. Libraries must facilitate the community in developing their potential by looking at cultural diversity, change, and offering business opportunities, protecting and preserving culture and human rights and in accordance with the goals of sustainable development. Transforming libraries based on social inclusion is a form of library as lifelong learning. Where the library is not only as a source of information but more than that as a place to transform yourself as a center for social culture by empowering and democratizing the community and local communities, in an effort to improve the welfare of the community.

AbstractStructuring the territory understood as a method and not a fi nal destination in the structure ofgovernance (local). The ultimate goal in governance or regional government is the achievementof social welfare. Structuring the region as a method intended to bring the device to the localcommunity as the owner of sovereignty.Sub-District as a working area of the district head has an important position in the publicservice, because it deals directly with the public as the main consumers of public services inquestion. Important essence of districts explicitly stated in Law No. 32 of 2004, which confi rmedthat the sub-district serves as the district/city.This research uses descriptive research design analysis with a qualitative approach. This studyincludes qualitative research, which produces descriptive data. Qualitative research is alsomore emphasis on process rather than in terms of results, in addition to this research mayreveal a problem concerning what is in accordance with the reality on the ground.Based on the results of research and discussion as well as the data obtained in the fi eld,it can be concluded as follows: 1) decree No. 44 and No. 45 of 2012 issued on December28, 2012 have not been fully implemented. The Regent of new regulations implemented infour districts as a pilot project for the District Campaka and Cidaun representing southerncoastal areas Cianjur berkarateristik ocean regions and the mainland. While CematanPacet and Middle Reef representing the Highlands and the Regional Tourism; 3) Basedon the results of questionnaires distributed researchers showed that almost 94% of theauthority delegated by declaring that have been implemented by the Head Campaka,Cidaun, Karangtengah and Pacet despite many obstacles. 4) Based on the interview withthe Head Campaka, Cidaun, Karangtengah and Pacet and the districts mentioned thatthe authority delegated in accordance with Law No. 32 of 2014 governing authority of theRegent. But the delegation of authority was not followed denganpembiayaan suffi cient; 5)Obstacles encountered in the implementation of devolved government affairs, among others,the allocation of funds from the budget has been no improvement since the publication oflegislation or declaring the partial delegation of authority so that what is being implementedby kecamaatan still in accordance with the regulations and declaring before it was issued.Another was in the delegation of authority should be delegated the funds and personnel aswell as the completeness of facilities and infrastructure to carry out the delegated authority;Of the conclusions that can be drawn up by the author, the author tries to give somerecommendations, among others: 1) the ineffectiveness of the role and function of districts foris probably due to the limited authority given to districts to districts that causes districts “nothesitate” to take action if social problems arising in the areas they work; 2) In addition, untilnow there is no synchronization of activity between districts and other institutions at the districtlevel (vertical and horizontal); 3) Short-term: through the synchronization of activities andmake districts as an important actor in the management of these activities, the medium term:to simplifi cation institutions where local authorities through applicable legislation activate therole and functions of the district. Long-term: to reduce the role and function of districts to onlyfocus on one function, namely the function of public services. Discipline culture is a reflection of the quality of educational institutions. The low level of discipline is the main problem of every educational institution. The role of leadership is very much needed in overcoming this problem. This paper aims to describe the leadership role of madrasah principals in improving the disciplinary culture of students at MAS Patra Mandiri Plaju Palembang. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analytic study method. Data were collected using interview techniques, observation and documentation study. The results of this study indicate that the headmaster of MAS Patra Mandiri Plaju Palembang has played its role and function in improving the disciplinary culture of students in a fairly good category. This is supported by 2 factors, namely (1) the role models of madrasah principals in complying with school regulations; and (2) socialization of school discipline rules and sanctions for violations. The obstacles faced by madrasah principals are (1) there are still some teachers who do not exemplify student attitudes; and (2) there are still students who are not "deterred" to be given disciplinary violations.

In most animal species female germ cells are the source of mitochondrial genome for the whole body of individuals. As a source of mitochondrial DNA for future generations the mitochondria in the female germ line undergo dynamic quantitative and qualitative changes. In addition to maintaining the intact template of mitochondrial genome from one generation to another, mitochondrial role in oocytes is much more complex and pleiotropic. The quality of mitochondria determines the ability of meiotic divisions, fertilization ability, and activation after fertilization or sustaining development of a new embryo. The presence of normal number of functional mitochondria is also crucial for proper implantation and pregnancy maintaining. This article addresses issues of mitochondrial role and function in mammalian oocyte and presents new approaches in studies of mitochondrial function in female germ cells.

A Model of Subak Diversifying Functions as an Attraction to Ecotourism in Subak Sembung, Peguyangan, North Denpasar Subak Sembung is one of the Subak in Denpasar which has a wide area of farming around 115 Ha. Subak Sembung has becoming an attraction to ecotourism since year of 2014. The Ecotourism in Subak Sembung was established as a water absorption area in Denpasar city. This was meant to keep motivating the farmers not to shift the function of that land. Currently, condition of the field has shown that Subak Sembung is now dealing with a threat of land shifting function because of its existance in the middle of Denpasar city, so the ecotourism in Subak Sembung was then created to further anticipate it. This research discussed about any Subak diversifying functions after the ecotourism in that area was established. It also described the models of its diversification as an attraction in Subak Sembung. The method of analysis used to explain the reseach problem was a descriptive qualitative analysis. That qualitative description was applied on the information received from some key speakers by Krama Subak or the admin of that ecotourism. The results showed that the role and function ofSubak brought up to an attranction for Subak Sembung ecotourism. The diversification of those roles and functions included religion ceremony that performed any rituals, therefore Subak could sell a culture in farming. The others were involving facilities operation and maintenance like building a trekking path along the rice field for tourists and also providing other supporting facilities along the area. The establishment of ecotourism was led by Badan Lingkungan Hidup (BLH) and PPLH that had constructed an ecotourism management in 2014. Nevertheless, there was also another issue found regarding with the lack of waste management and abence of share of direct income for the site. Therefore, as a suggestion, a contribution should be given especially to the Subak itself in the future because it would help to motivate the farmers to sustain the rice field area. The farmers should also be open-minded to accept a new innovation,meanwhile both sides of the ecotourism and Subak need to be alert to follow up with the rubbish issue around the area. It is also suggested that Denpasar government in line with the management of ecotourism should give a direct contribution for Subak sustainability in the future.
