Discipline culture is a reflection of the quality of educational institutions. The low level of discipline is the main problem of every educational institution. The role of leadership is very much needed in overcoming this problem. This paper aims to describe the leadership role of madrasah principals in improving the disciplinary culture of students at MAS Patra Mandiri Plaju Palembang. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analytic study method. Data were collected using interview techniques, observation and documentation study. The results of this study indicate that the headmaster of MAS Patra Mandiri Plaju Palembang has played its role and function in improving the disciplinary culture of students in a fairly good category. This is supported by 2 factors, namely (1) the role models of madrasah principals in complying with school regulations; and (2) socialization of school discipline rules and sanctions for violations. The obstacles faced by madrasah principals are (1) there are still some teachers who do not exemplify student attitudes; and (2) there are still students who are not "deterred" to be given disciplinary violations.

This study aims to analyze Islamic education within the socio-cultural and Islamic education dimensions in responding to the challenges of the industrial revolution era 4.0. This study uses a library research method. The results showed that in the scope of the socio-cultural dimension, Islamic education serves as a forum that can instill tolerance, prevent radicalism, and think moderately. Islamic education is also an instrument that can face the challenges of the this era, because unique personality development is the reason for the ability of Islamic education to survive in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. In relation to responding to the challenges of the industrial revolution era 4.0 of Islamic education, Islamic education will not be overlooked by the negative values ​​of the impact of the this era, because Islamic education maintains strong values ​​that come from the Al-Qur'an and Hadith. In addition, Islamic education does not close itself to technological sophistication, thus opening access to higher development and adapting to the needs of society. In addition, Islamic education is also not only oriented to worldly values ​​but believes in ukhrawi values, which function as one's spiritual strength, which in this digital era spiritual values ​​are starting to be abandoned.

Implementation of education in the Covid-19 era still has to pay attention to the needs of children, including in formal educational institutions such as madrasah diniyah. Of course the learning that is carried out is in the corridor of health protocols and the use of online or online systems. Obstacles and obstacles are certainly the minus side of online system learning. This paper seeks to examine in detail the problems of online-based learning in non-formal educational institutions. The focus of the discussion is aimed at the problematic aspects and efforts to solve them at Madrasah Diniyah Manbaul Huda. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with interview techniques. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using data reduction techniques, data display and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that (1) the internet network, the cost of internet data packages, and the limited number of family smartphones are the problems of learning the online system at Madrasah Diniyah Manbaul Huda; (2) Some of the efforts that the teacher can make are preparing online learning, preparing a new schedule and socializing that the teaching and learning process will be through online learning.

The millennial generation is the continuation of the relay of national and state life. Welcoming Indonesia's golden 1st century of independence in 2045, the Indonesian nation needs a generation that is intellectually intelligent, skilled and has character. This paper aims to analyze the integration of character education through Islamic religious education at SMA Asy-Syafiiyah Medan. The background of this research shows that the age of the students studied is the millennial generation category. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a research background in SMA Asy-Syafiiyah Medan. Data were collected by means of observation, interview and documentation study techniques. The results of this study are the integration of character education through learning Islamic Religious Education effectively given to the millennial generation at SMA Asy-Syafiiah Medan, this is marked by 3 integral stages, namely (1) the planning stages, including the presentation of the integration of character education in the syllabus and learning curriculum. ; (2) the stages of implementation, including learning and school culture (climate); and (3) the third stage, namely evaluation. The evaluation in two steps, namely the evaluation of the process and results. Process evaluation is carried out in the learning process, while result evaluation is carried out at the end of the semester.

This study aims to analyze the concept of character education according to Ibn Miskawaih in a philosophical perspective with a focus on studies from the side of ontology, epistemology, and axiology. The research method used is the library research method. Sources of literature in this study consist of primary sources and secondary sources. The primary source of literature is the book of tahzib al-Akhlak, and the secondary source is references related to character education such as other books from Ibn Miskawaih's essays, journals, or proceedings. Data analysis begins with unit processing, categorization, and ends with data interpretation. The results showed that ontologically, character education is an effort to curb the three forces that exist in the human soul, so that all body activities become good and spontaneous without the need for prior consideration. Epistemologically, the character education method includes willpower, self-introspection, thariqun thabi'iyyah and opposition methods. Axiologically, character education boils down to the middle path (al-wasath), with main virtues such as al-hikmah (wisdom), al-'iffah (maintaining self-purity), as-Saja'ah (courage) and al-'adalah ( justice).

The goal of this research is to analyze: (1) problems in evaluating Islamic education learning, (2) The impact of the problems, and (3) Solutions for the existing the problems. The research has been done at MTs. Usman Syarif Medan. This research is using descriptive qualitative analysis method. The data collected comes from interviews and some observation. To ensure the validity of the data, the test is carried out by credibility/trust test, transferability test, dependability test and confirmability test. The results of this learning evaluation problem are including: Difficulty of evaluating learning in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains when learning is doing online (in a network). The impact of learning from home has a negative impact on educators and students. The solution to learning problems is to evaluate learning using the WhatsApp application by doing written tests, oral tests, and also quizzes. This solution is a response to learning problems during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of talaqqi and musyafahah methods in improving students' reading ability of the Al-Qur'an at Salsa Percut Sei Tuan Private Elementary School. The method used was Classroom Action Research with two cycle’s stages. Each cycle is carried out following the planning, implementation, observation and reflection procedures. Data were collected using observation, interview, test and documentation techniques. The results showed that the students' ability to read Al-Qur'an in pre-action still did not meet the minimum completeness criteria. In cycle 1 the students' ability to read the Al-Qur’an who was able to fulfill the minimum completeness criteria were only 2 students (makharijul huruf), 1 student (sifatul huruf), and 2 students (ahkamul huruf), after learning in cycle 2 increased, so that those who were able to fulfill the minimum completeness criteria into 8 students (makharijul huruf), 8 students (sifatul huruf), and 8 (ahkamul huruf) students. These results indicate that the learning outcomes score has exceeded the specified minimum completeness criteria. The application of this learning method has also received a good response by students; this can be seen from the enthusiasm and increasing attractiveness of students to learn tajwid.

This study aims to determine differences in teacher teaching performance in terms of institutional accreditation rankings, with a focus on the factors that influence it. This research was carried out at MAN 1 and MAN 2 Sungai Penuh. This research uses quantitative research methods based on comparative studies. The sample in this study amounted to 85 people (45 teachers MAN 1 and 30 teachers MAN 2) taken from the total population (all teachers MAN 1 and 2 Sungai Penuh) of 123 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation studies. Questionnaires to measure differences in teacher teaching performance, and documentation to gain insight into teacher institutions and performance so far. Hypothesis testing and significance level using the independent comparison formula t-test for two-way test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the teaching performance of teachers at MAN 1 Sungai Penuh and MAN 2 Sungai Penuh. This can be seen from the results of the t-test calculation results t count 2.771 while t table 1.993. The results also show that the institution's accreditation ranking has a linearity impact on improving teacher performance, the accreditation ranking will increase based on good teacher performance.

This paper aims to analyze the implementation of managerial supervision at MIN 5 Aceh Tenggara. This study used a qualitative approach, with a background in the implementation of managerial supervision activities at MIN 5 Aceh Tenggara. Data were collected using in-depth interview techniques, observation and document review. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using data reduction techniques, display or presentation of data and drawing conclusions. The data validity test was carried out by triangulation of sources and methods. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of managerial supervision at MIN 5 Aceh Tenggara is categorized as good, this is indicated by (1) planning aspects, including administrative completeness, observation instruments and classroom learning implementation instruments; (2) implementation aspects, in the form of class observations, private meetings, delivery of results of supervision and follow-up programs of supervision; and (3) the aspect of influence, in the form of creating a "comfortable" learning climate in madrasas.

This paper aims to analyze the implementation and obstacles in coordination between supervisors and madrasah principals in improving the work performance of MIN 1 Aceh Tenggara teachers. The focus of this research discussion is the form of coordination, implementation, and coordination barriers between supervisors and principals of the madrasah. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytic method. Data collection was carried out by interviewing the participants of the MIN 1 Aceh Tenggara Teachers, and observation and documentation techniques. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data was tested by means of triangulation, both methods and sources. The results of this study indicate that (1) the form of coordination between supervisors and principals of madrasah is in the form of an annual program of activities on teacher performance; (2) The coordination includes observation and class visits, supervision meetings and teacher training; and (3) obstacles in coordination, namely competition for the quality of madrasah ibtidaiyah with basic education institutions at the same level (SD-IT, SD, and other similar institutions).
