The new policy to provide broad flexibility to capture lobster seeds is the same as opening up massive exploitation and welcoming the extinction of lobster seeds in Indonesia. The commitment of lobster seed exporters to develop cultivation is very doubtful and is suspected of using partnerships with lobster cultivators as an effort to obtain a lobster seed export license only. After obtaining the license, the exporters are predicted to break the partnership agreement. Therefore, there needs to be an evaluation, given that business actors are not ready with supporting facilities and infrastructure to carry out the cultivation. This qualitative research leads to a case study of the impact of a new policy regarding the export of lobster seeds on the sustainability of lobster in Indonesia. This study uses primary data and secondary data to explore and explain the impact of Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Regulation Number 12 of 2020 in order to draw general conclusions and support the theory.

Purpose of the study: The rambu solo’ ceremony is a traditional death ceremony of the Tana Toraja regency with roots in local beliefs. However, over time, the tradition has become associated with social status and economic motives. These changes have led to many issues. This article analyses the motivations that drive the compromises that families must accept when selecting a form of rambu solo’. Methodology: This was a case study conducted in the village of Lemo in the regency of Tana Toraja. Primary data collected through in-depth interviews and observation. Informants consisted of cultural figures, religious figures, and indigenous locals with experience performing rambu solo’ — secondary data taken from existing literature about Toraja Regency. Main Findings: Results showed that compromises taken for motives of social status were irrational but comprised the most common reasoning behind rambu solo’ ceremony selection. For those families motivated by social status, choice of rambu solo’ ceremony form performed for one of two reasons: preserving their social status ascribed to them from birth (attributed status) Applications of this study: The selection of non-rapasanrambu solo’ ceremonies based on economic motives were rationally-sound but relatively rare. Avoiding wastefulness in the performing of rambu solo’ is done through simplifying the procession through shortening the storage period of the remains of the deceased before the rambu solo’ reducing the number of days of the rambu solo’ ceremony. Novelty/Originality of this study: This shows that irrational decision-making, in the context of traditional ceremonies, cannot be considered irrational; even irrational decisions can be justified and explained based on individual interpretations of rationality based on local culture. Interestingly, social status was the most common motive form selection based on economic motives were rational but less popular among the people sound choice theory

Abstract. The Health Social Security Agency (BPJS kesehatan) is one of the government’s efforts to provide quality healthcare for the people. To guarantee its quality and maintain efficiency, a tiered referral system is used. However, there were many problems in its implementation. One of the ways to investigate is to evaluate the non-specialist outpatient referrals (RRNS). Therefore, in March-July 2018, this research was performed in order to analyze whether the system was implemented at Beji and Depok Jaya Health Center. The method used was the qualitative research method, with primary data from in-depth interviews and secondary data from documents. It was discovered that both Centers had optimal RRNS ratios (0%). This was because the doctors at both Centers has provided referrals as indicated and there was feedback on the RRNS total. The civil servant (PNS) doctors at both centers were experienced and skillful, but the number of doctors was insufficient compared to their workload. The non-PNS doctors also were not sufficiently trained. Other problems include insufficient equipment and medication provision.

In my thesis, I explore the constituents of an organizational crisis for Investor Relations and the capital market in Germany. The literature review reveals a research gap on crisis research for these organizational groups as well as on qualitative research in the field. Grounding my research within the hermeneutic phenomenological tradition, I conduct an instrumental case study on BP and the Deepwater Horizon oil spill to obtain the required pre-understanding. I use secondary data by means of newspaper articles from three UK national newspapers. The findings from the instrumental case study guide the collection of primary data. I conduct interviews with Investor Relations managers and institutional capital market participants. I analyze the interview data using thematic analysis. A crisis that is considered relevant for Investor Relations and the capital market shows different characteristics than those relevant for other organizational crises. My study extends existing crisis frameworks by adding impacts and the perspective from a specific corporate function and the related stakeholder group. It offers a new conceptualization of crisis. Research regarding impacts on capital markets is often associated with quantitative research, using secondary data to assess effects on share prices. My research seeks to explore the underlying mechanisms of effects on Investor Relations and the capital market by employing a twofold exploratory approach. Therefore, my qualitative approach is methodologically relevant. I demonstrate that qualitative research can be applied successfully in this domain and obtain meaningful results.
