One of the efforts to prevent teenage pregnancy incidence is health education about teenage pregnancy in Adolescence; it is hoped that health education can help government programs reduce the incidence of teenage pregnancy in the Indramayu Regency. The TEAM carries out community service activities from the STIKes Indramayu Midwifery Study Program, which was implemented in early July-August 2019, located in the Margadadi and Plumbon Puskesmas area (two Puksemas located in the Indramayu District Work Area). Community service aims to improve the thinking skills and understanding of junior high school students in preventing teenage pregnancy in health education. The implementation method by using leaflets/brochures and preparing reproductive health education materials. It can be seen that before the extension, there were 102 students (60%) with low knowledge results, 58 students (34.1%) with sufficient knowledge, and ten students (5.9%) with good knowledge results. In contrast, the knowledge obtained from counseling and discussion showed a significant increase in knowledge about adolescent reproductive health; the results were 147 students (86.5%) with good knowledge of 23 students (13.5%) with sufficient knowledge. There is a change or increase in students' knowledge about adolescent reproductive health, especially about teenage pregnancy prevention. It is hoped that this community service education can reduce maternal and infant mortality rates caused by adolescent pregnancy.

Background: Some indicators of reproductive health education in schools have not reached the expected level. A preliminary study on junior high school students shows that 90% of students have poor reproductive health knowledge. This situation is an indicator of the weak reproductive health education in junior high schools. Methods: The design of this study is research and development. The study continued with field tests on 30 junior high school teachers in the Mijen sub-district of Semarang City. Results: The study succeeded in formulating 5 materials and 18 study materials on reproductive health education for junior high school students. The material includes: 1) Male and female reproductive organs, 2) Personal protection from sexual abuse, 3) Problems related to reproductive health behavior, 4) Sexually transmitted diseases and HIV-AIDS, 5) Environmental care for reproductive health. The mapping results show that 50% of teachers have never learned the materials : the structure and function of reproductive organs, the types of sexually transmitted diseases, and the health effects of sexually transmitted diseases. The level of teacher knowledge about reproductive health education was 26.7% including the excellent category, 33.3% good and 36.7% sufficient. Conclusion: Materials health education for junior high school students need to be implemented through various forms of intra and extracurricular learning in junior high school.

Community empowerment is an effort to give empowerment or strengthening to the community to find new alternatives to be a better community. Serang Regency is one of the districts that is locus of stunting. The stunting rate in Serang Regency in 2019 is still quite high, 32%. The four districts in Serang are included in the ten districts which are the locus of stunting, namely Serang, Lebak, Pandegelang and Tangerang districts. The problem found in Baros village is that the growth of children under five is not optimal by the mother and there has never been any training on child growth. Based on this, the service team from the Faculty of Health Sciences at UPN Veteran Jakarta conducted community service in the form of health education on stunting and child growth training with the aim of fostering awareness, willingness, and the ability of mothers to prevent and protect children from stunting. The method of implementing this community service is carried out in several stages, namely: area potential survey, dialogue program activities through FGDs, health promotion, child growth training, and monitoring evaluation. 30 mothers were participating in health promotion and child growth training. The results of this activity obtained data that mothers who have good knowledge of 83.3% and sufficient knowledge of 26.7% and skills of mothers in the environment of child growth 46.7% have good skills and 53.3% of sufficient skills. Continuous efforts are needed to increase children's growth independently so that the incidence of stunting can be detected early. ABSTRAK:Pemberdayaan masyarakat adalah upaya memberikan daya (empowerment) atau penguatan (strengthening) kepada masyarakat untuk menemukan alternatif-alternatif baru dalam pembangunan masyarakat sehingga terwujud kehidupan masyarakat yang lebih baik. Kabupaten serang adalah salah satu kabupaten yang menjadi lokus stunting. Angka stunting di Kabupaten Serang pada tahun 2019 masih cukup tinggi yaitu 32%. Empat kabupaten di Serang masuk dalam sepuluh kabupaten di seluruh Indonesia yang menjadi lokus stunting yaitu kabupaten Serang, Lebak, Pandegelang dan Tangerang. Hasil observasi yang dilakukan diketahui bahwa permasalahan di desa Baros adalah belum optimalnya pemantauan pertumbuhan balita secara mandiri oleh ibu dan belum pernah dilakukan pelatihan pemantauan pertumbuhan anak. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka tim pengabdi dari Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan UPN Veteran Jakarta melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pendidikan kesehatan tentang stunting dan pelatihan pemantauan pertumbuhan anak dengan tujuan untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran, kemauan, dan kemampuan ibu dalam mengenali, mencegah dan melindungi anak dari penyakit stunting. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap yaitu: Survei potensi wilayah, dialog program kegiatan melalui FGD, promosi kesehatan, pelatihan pemantauan pertumbuhan anak, dan monitoring evaluasi. Kegiatan promosi kesehatan dan pelatihan pemantauan pertumbuhan anak diikuti oleh 30 ibu balita. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diperoleh data bahwa ibu yang memiliki pengetahuan baik 83% dan pengetahuan cukup 27% dan keterampilan ibu dalam pemantauan pertumbuhan anak 47% berketerampilan baik dan 53% keterampilan cukup. Diperlukan upaya berkelanjutan berupa pendampingan ibu balita untuk tetap meningkatan keterampilan pemantauan pertumbuhan anak secara mandiri sehingga kejadian stunting dapat dideteksi secara dini.

Population were all students at grade VII and VIII and parents of student from 14 class. The sample technique used is random sampling. Proportionate proportionate stratified random sampling type.The instrument is knowledge test about teenagers of reproductive health. Besed on this research, the knowlwdge level of the students at grade VII, VIII and parents is medium category, they are 55,5%, 54% and 70%. Another that, sex and parents educations is also influence on their knowledge about 20,5% and 33,5 they have relate between students knowledge and their parents in SMP Negeri 3 Pariaman.

The purpose of this study was to describe the creative thinking skills of junior high school students based on mathematics anxiety and gender. Aspects of creative thinking skills used in this study are fluency, flexibility, and novelty. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The instruments used were open-ended questions consisting of algebra and geometry questions, mathematics anxiety questionnaires, and interview guidelines. The study was conducted in class IX E of SMPI Al Azhar 12 Rawamangun Jakarta. The subject of this study consisted of four students, they are male student with low mathematics anxiety, female student with low mathematics anxiety, male student with medium mathematics anxiety, and female student with medium mathematics anxiety. The results of the mathematics anxiety questionnaire showed that none of the students in class IX E had high math anxiety. There are differences in the fulfillment of aspects of creative thinking in terms of differences in mathematics anxiety and gender levels. Students with low math anxiety fulfill aspects of fluency, flexibility, and novelty in algebra and geometry questions. Students with medium math anxiety fulfill aspects of fluency and flexibility both in algebra and geometry questions. Female students fulfill aspects of fluency, flexibility, and novelty both in algebra and geometry questions. Male students fulfill aspects of fluency and flexibility in algebra questions, while in geometry questions the aspects that are fulfilled are fluency, flexibility, and novelty.

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan komunikasi matematis siswa SMP kelas VII dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) serta untuk mengetahui apakah keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa memiliki hubungan positif terhadap komunikasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP XYZ kota Bogor. Adapun kegiatan pada proses pembelajaran ini adalah merancang mathematics board games. Mix method merupakan jenis metode penelitian yang dilakukan dengan teknik pengambilan data dengan wawancara terhadap 5 orang responden, kuesioner dan observasi. Analisa kualitatif dilakukan secara triangulasi. Sedangkan untuk analisa kualitatif dengan menggunakan data yang diperoleh dari instrumen rubrik indikator keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan komunikasi matematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi PjBL dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan komunikasi matematis siswa. Secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan uji statistik korelasi Pearson, diketahui keterampilan berpikir kreatif memiliki hubungan positif dengan keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Abstract: The purpose of this study is to improve the creative thinking skills and mathematical communication of VII grade junior high school students by applying the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model and to find out whether students 'creative thinking skills have a positive correlation with students' mathematical communication skill. This research was conducted at SMP XYZ in Bogor. The activities in this learning process are designing mathematics board games. Mix method as the research methodology that is used with data collection techniques by interviewing 5 respondents, questionnaires and observations. Qualitative analysis is done by triangulation. Whereas for quanitative analysis using data obtained from the rubric instrument of creative thinking skills and mathematical communication indicators. The implementation of PjBL could improve students' creative thinking skills and mathematical communication. Quantitatively using the Pearson correlation statistical test, it is known that creative thinking skills have a positive relationship with creative thinking skills.

Introduction: Adolescent is an important segment of life while a child undergoes biological transformation.Objective: The study was conducted to assess the level of knowledge of mothers about reproductive health needs of their adolescent girls. Methods: This descriptive cross sectional study was conducted on the mothers having adolescent girls. Data was collected by face to face interview with a semi structured questionnaire and analyzed with SPSS. The knowledge of mothers was assessed by Likert scale.Place of study: The study was conducted at 5 schools of Dhaka city on 118 respondents over a period of four months.Results: It was revealed from the findings that among 118 mothers the mean age of respondents were 40.71 years with standard deviation ± 3.707 years. Majority (70%) of respondents were undergraduate qualified and rest were post graduats. Among the respondents, 64% of mothers did not want to provide information on reproductive health to their daughters. Seventy two percent of the respondents had average knowledge about puberty. Among the respondents, 47% had average knowledge regarding adolescent reproductive health problems and 77% of respondents had average knowledge about safe motherhood. Regarding the complication of unsafe abortion, 73% had average knowledge and 70% had average knowledge about consequence of early pregnancy. Fifty seven percent of the respondents had good knowledge about Sexually Transmitted Diseases. Sixty one percent of the respondents had good knowledge regarding the high risk behaviour of the adolescents. Significant statistical association was found between knowledge and education, knowledge and occupation, and knowledge and source of information of reproductive health (p<0.05).Conclusion: The study findings may be helpful for baseline information and would be beneficial to the policymakers and programme planners to sophisticate further strategy to increase mothers' knowledge about the reproductive health needs of their adolescent girls.Key words: Knowledge; adolescent; reproductive health needs DOI: 10.3329/jafmc.v6i2.7266JAFMC Bangladesh. Pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) dapat dirancang guru untuk kegiatan proses pembelajaran atau dalam penyusunan soal evaluasi. Soal yang berorientasi pada HOTS diperlukan agar siswa terbiasa dan terlatih untuk menyelesaikan soal yang tidak hanya bersifat hafalan dan pemahaman, maupun penerapan konsep. Banyak penyuluhan atau pelatihan yang telah diperoleh guru dalam membuat soal matematika. Meskipun demikian, pelatihan yang secara spesifik untuk membuat soal matematika yang berorientasi HOTS sangat kurang bahkan belum pernah mereka ikuti. Oleh karena itu, perlu diadakan pelatihan untuk membuat soal matematika yang berorientasi HOTS. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) adalah membimbing guru matematika SMP dalam menyusun soal matematika yang berorientasi HOTS. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan bekerjasama dengan MGMP Matematika Kabupaten Banjar. Jumlah peserta yang hadir pada saat kegiatan ada 46 orang. Secara ringkas, tahapan kegiatan meliputi menyiapkan materi sebagai bahan pembimbingan pembuatan soal berorientasi HOTS dan melaksanakan pembimbingan. Kegiatan PKM ini telah menghasilkan 50 buah soal matematika yang berorientasi HOTS. Kategori soal berdasarkan level HOTS, 39 buah (78%) termasuk soal analisis dan 11 buah (22%) termasuk soal evaluasi.The Learning that orienting to the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) can be designed by the teacher for the learning process activities or in the preparation of evaluation questions. HOTS-oriented problems are needed so that students are accustomed and trained to solve problems that are not only memorizing, understanding, and applying concepts. Teachers have obtained much training in making mathematical problems. However, the training specifically in making HOTS-oriented mathematics problems is lacking. Therefore, the training needs to be held to cause HOTS-oriented mathematics problems. The purpose of community service activities is to guide junior high school mathematics teachers in preparing HOTS-oriented mathematics problems. The activity has been carried out in collaboration with the Mathematics MGMP of the Banjar District. The number of participants who attended the activity was 46 people. In summary, the stages of activities include preparing material as guidance material for making HOTS-oriented problems and implementing mentoring. This community service activity has produced 50 HOTS-oriented mathematics problems. The problem categories are based on the HOTS level; 39 items (78%) included analysis problems, and 11 items (22%) included evaluation problems.
