Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are one of the economic strength pillars of the community because their management involves the community directly, both in providing production facilities, labors, and its marketing chain. However, some SMEs failed in the middle of their business road or are unable to develop. This condition also occurs in SME of Al-Barkah Laying HenFarm. The purpose of implementing this program is to increase business capacity both from the production and management aspects of the Al-Barkah layer chicken business. The method used in overcoming these problems and achieving goals is by providing direct training, guidance, and application of science and technology. All activities were carried out jointly by the owners and employees of UKM Partners, guided by the implementation team. After implementing the program, the SME partner now: (1) understands and can conduct business planning; (2) can carry out business effectiveness and efficiency; (3) can increase understanding of the importance of order in the livestock business process; (4) Understands the importance of hygiene and cage sanitation; and (5) can increase the chicken health, egg production, and farmer income. The conclusion from the program implementation is that the Al-Barkah layer chicken business has increased production by 15% and an increase in business efficiency by 12% as a result of improvements in production and business management aspects.

Increasing marketing innovation is very important in progress in entrepreneurship. Of course, in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). MSMEs is a commercial business whose management is carried out by individuals or individuals as well as business entities with a small scope, better known as micro. The problem faced by most small businesses or industries is that they do not have a Global Positioning System (GPS) partner business location marker system. Global Positioning System (GPS) is a navigation system that uses more than 24 MEO (Medium Earth Orbit) satellites that can provide information on the user's position wherever they are. GPS also plays an important role in increasing marketing to MSMEs. By using GPS, it is easier for people to access the location of MSMEs. With community service related to MSMEs assistance in traditional types of peanut sugar, it is hoped that it can provide MSMEs solutions. The problem solving method used is based on a management approach in improving production and sales results with 3 (three) stages of program implementation, namely preparation, implementation and monitoring and evaluation.

Citronella oil production has been developed by the Regional Government of the South Tapanuli District through the Forest Management Unit (KPH), the Agriculture Office and the Industry Office. For KPH, this program serves to gradually replace oil palm smallholdings in forest areas. For the Agriculture and Industry Offices, this program is intended to increase farmer income, especially during the Covid19 Pandemic. However, businesses have faltered as citronella oil prices dropped dramatically. Many farmers cannot survive and temporarily close their business. This is mainly caused by the limited market access of farmers due to an inadequate business scale and production quality. To overcome such a condition, farmers need to have a strong smallholder institution with a sufficient economic scale, as well as good coordination among stakeholders. This activity was carried out for 3 months through online and offline meetings. Farmers were introduced to both export and local market accesses. However, to utilize these opportunities farmers need to have a strong and adequate farmer institution. Through the Forum Group Discussion, progressive farmers and processors were gathered with farmers from 3 other sub districts, as well as other stakeholders related to the improvement of market access. The results showed that farmers and other stakeholders agreed to jointly support the development of the citronella oil industry in South Tapanuli. The FGD ended with the commitment of farmers and all stakeholders to form a South Tapanuli Citronella Oil multi-stakeholders Forum to improve the ability to deal with market fluctuations in the future.

An important role for the country's economic development is the adaptation of structural changes, opportunities and development conditions based on market demands for the products and services realized. The development of industry and natural resources are of particular importance in this regard. The industry contributes mostly to economic development and division of labor. It provides opportunities for the reconstruction and advancement of other economic branches such as agriculture, traffic, trade and more. The influence of industry on transforming the country's economic and social structure is high or low, depending on the level of overall economic development of the country. The post-war Kosovo economy faced great challenges, as a result of poor management for a decade and a devastating war. Nevertheless, Kosovo successfully e passed the reconstruction phase, which was quite difficult. The beginning of privatization, the dynamic development of the private sector in small and medium enterprises, with particular emphasis on the production sector, the first initiatives of the integration process with the region's economy through the signing of the Free Trade Agreement, the inclusion in the Stability Pact as unequal only the first steps of long and serious processes towards the development of market economy and integration into regional and international institutions. In the post-war period, Kosovo's economy was a consumption economy and its needs largely met by imports, using "cash" as a means of payment in the absence of organized financial institutions. The economic structure of a country, for economic development, more than any other indicator represents the development and development reality. So it is treated as the current generator at all times and in every contemporary society. In this paper we tried to define the management and efficiency of small and medium-sized businesses, and we also understood the importance and contribution of SMEs in economic development. Almost no definition is the same as what small and big business differentiates. The main factor in which theorists and economists are based is the number of employees.

An exploratory factor and correlation analysis have been performed in SPSS in order to provide an answer to the research question: “How do firm investments and employment impacts influence the overall Summary Innovation Index?”. The findings show that there is a positive correlation between the selected innovation indicators, namely firm investments and employment impact and the overall summary innovation index. These findings reveal a strong correlation between firm investments and the innovation process, which results into guidance for companies and their innovative efforts. Banana hump is one part of the banana plant that is still very rarely used. The Banana hump can be an item with a selling value because it contains high carbohydrates, fiber, and calcium to be an alternative food ingredient. The banana hump can be turned into nutrient-rich flour. Community empowerment to process banana hump into something useful and can be a pilot business for residents is one of the keys to this success of this activity. This service will provide benefits to various parties, including for community service participants, for the counseling implementation team, for universities, and for the government. The purpose of this activity is to introduce and train the skills of making flour made from banana humps, which we named "Tebosang" for the community of Balai Makam Village, Bathin Solapan District, Bengkalis Regency. The methods used include site surveys, interactive training preparation, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluation. Making flour from banana hump started with a waste of old banana hump, cleaned the surface, then sliced thin approximately 0.5 cm. The hump then washed and then soaked with whiting for about one hour, then rinsed and dried. The dried hump slices are then blended and then sifted so that they become flour. The community's enthusiasm was relatively high at the time of the training, shown by the community's involvement at the demonstration. The monitoring and evaluation results show that the community already understands how to make flour from the banana hump. The result also showed that the village community is already producing "tebosang" flour, which has commercial potential, a start-up for micro, small and medium enterprises in each community.
