Iron deficiency nutritional anemia is the most common anemia in the world. Riskesdas results showed that the prevalence of anemia of women ≥15 years old amounted to 22.7% while the prevalence of anemia in pregnant women was 37.1%. The prevalence of anemia nationally for all age groups is 21.7%. Young women are prone to anemia due to a lot of blood loss during menstruation, in addition to being exacerbated by a lack of iron intake, the need for iron in young women is urgently needed for accelerated growth and development. Coverage of young women who received blood-added tablets was 76.2% and that was not 23.8%. This research is an experimental Quasy Design study using the design of one group pre test-post test with the aim of knowing the influence of SF Consumption and Red Seed Guava Juice on changes in hemoglobin levels in Young Women who received SF Tablet Supplementation at SMP Negeri 19 Jambi City in 2019. Sampling in the study was Simple Random sampling as many as 74 students. The data was obtained from the results of the examination of the level of Hb Young women. The analysis used is univariate and bivariate. The statistical test used is the t-paired test. The average value of hemoglobin levels in Young Women before consuming SF and red seed guava juice in SMP 19 Jambi City in 2019 is 11.94 g/dl and the average value of hemoglobin in Young Women after consuming SF and guava in SMP 19 Jambi City year 2019 is 13.15 g/dl. Statistical test results There is an influence of consuming SF and guava juice on the hemoglobin levels of young women in Junior High School 19 Jambi City year 2019 with sig value (2-tailed) count 0.000 < 0.05. From the results of the study can be concluded that consuming SF in conjunction with guava juice can increase HB levels. Advice for health workers, especially midwives, to provide services related to the management of anemia in young women of high school students by doing prevention through counseling.

Kejadian dismenorea primer di Indonesia sekitar 54,89%, sisanya 45,11% dismenorea sekunder. Dismenorea primer  pada siswi SMP X dari 35 siswi 25 siswi mengalami disminor bila haid. Salah satu pengobatan dismenorea secara non-farmakologis yaitu hipnoterapi. Hipnoterapi merupakan salah satu cara yang mudah, cepat, efektif, dan efisien dalam menjangkau pikiran bawah sadar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hipnoterapi terhadap dismenorea pada siswi SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre Eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian one group pre-test-post-test. Jumlah populasi yang didapat 117 orang dan jumlah sampel yang diambil 20 orang, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data diperoleh secara langsung dari responden dengan menggunakan alat ukur Verbal Descriptor Scale (VDS). Analisis data melalui dua tahapan, yaitu univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji t-dependen. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai rata-rata skala dismenorea sebelum diberikan intervensi adalah 6,50 dan nilai rata-rata sesudah diberikan intervensi adalah 1,35, terdapat pengaruh hipnoterapi terhadap dismenorea (t=17,596, p-value= 0,001). Hipnoterapi dapat disarankan untuk diterapkan sebagai tindakan nonfarmakologis untuk mengatasi dismenorea.Kata kunci: Dismenorea primer, hipnoterapi, SMP.Effect of Hypnotherapy on Alleviating Primary Dysmenorrhea in Junior High School StudentsAbstractThe incidence of primary dysmenorrhea in Indonesia amounts to approximately 54.89%, while another 45.11% is secondary dysmenorrhea. 25 out of 35 female students at SMP Patriot Bangsa (Patriot Bangsa Junior High School) experience primary dysmenorrhea when menstruating. One of nonpharmacological treatments for dysmenorrhea is hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy is an easy, fast, effective, and efficient way to treat dysmenorrhea by reaching the subconcious. This research aimed to identify the effect of hypnotherapy on dysmenorrhea in junior high school students. This research used a pre-experimental method with one group pretest- posttest design. The population of this research was 117 students and 20 students were chosen as sample with purposive sampling technique. Data were collected from respondents using Verbal Descriptor Scale (VDS) instrument. Data were analyzed in two steps, univariate and bivariate with t-dependent test. The results showed that the average value of dysmenorrhea before intervention is 6.5 and after intervention is 1.35. Hypnotherapy was found to have an effect on dysmenorrhea (t=17,596, p-value 0,001). It was suggested to the school that they should conduct nonpharmacological interventions such as hypnotherapy as treatment of dysmennorhea.Key words: Dysmenorrhea primer, hypnotherapy, SMP.

Girls' and young women's engagement and disengagement in physical activity has been well documented in Western culture. Sport plays a pivotal role in the development of behaviours that promote physical activity, particularly through commitment to team and individual goal attainment, socialisation, and feelings of belonging and self-identity. Community sport in Australia is the dominant pathway into state, national, and elite international competition. The importance of community sport in the lives of girls and young women cannot be overstated, irrespective of individual long-term sporting goals. Indeed, the dropout rate of girls in sports, like many other western cultures is significant and is certainly disproportionate to the numbers of boys who drop out. The present study aims to examine the intrapersonal, interpersonal, and environmental influences on community sporting pathways for girls and young women. Using a mixed-methods design, we include survey data from 2,189 high-school students (aged 12–18 years) and focus group and individual interview data from a subset of 37 high-school students, parents, and teachers, across metropolitan Adelaide, South Australia. The study included an examination of sporting practises and insights of male sport participants from the same age groups to juxtapose the findings and provide a more comprehensive understanding of girls' and young women's community sporting involvement. Parents and teachers were also included within the participant cohort to provide a comprehensive perspective. The results highlight the challenges that girls face with respect to engagement and disengagement in sport and particular points throughout their adolescent years. Recommendations are provided to help mitigate potential attrition of girls in sport in the future.

Short film display media is an innovative media that can be used to improve students' competence in learning to re-arrange short story text orally. The purpose of this research is to describe the use of short film display media in learning to reset short story text orally with simulation method for junior high school students. Data were collected by test and non-test methods. Data obtained through two activities namely pretest and posttest. The data is obtained from students of class VII of SMP N 2Blora. The results of the use of short movie display media in the learning re-compile the text of short stories orally with the simulation method of junior high school students is quite influential. Evidently there is a difference between before and after treatment. Before the average pretest value of knowledge was 77.28. However, at posttest, the average value of knowledge becomes 85.81. For skill, when pretest, the average value is 75.63, but when the posttest becomes 83.45.

This study aims to examine and analyze about problem-based learning approach to improve connection ability in SMP. The population in this research is VII SMP in Karawang. This study was designed qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results and discussion students connection ability had improved. It is known from the number of students who experience improvement in each cycle. In the first cycle shows that the results of mathematics learning on triangle and quadriplegic classically obtained scores of students from the questions given in the first cycle test, obtained 18 students reached 60% of 30 students who are able to obtain value above the KKM while in cycle II shows that the results of mathematics learning on triangle and quadrilateral material has reached 83.34% or as many as 25 students from 30 junior high school students who get grade VII above the KKM with an average value of 83. This shows an increase of 23.34% as many as 7 people students from the first cycle test. Means only 9% or as many as 5 students still score below the KKM.

This research aims to  examine the  ability  to make conclusions  of  students  in  learning science  especially  the  static  electricity  material.  The  method is  qualitative  research  with  analytic  survey  design  with  cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study were all 27 students of junior high school in Ponorogo city. This research was conducted with one meeting within a period  of  2  hours of study.  At this  meeting the researcher provides an initial stimulus that can direct  students  towards  the  ability  to makeconclusions.  Then  researchers  provide  tests  to measure the ability to draw conclusions. This data collection technique is done through tests of the  ability  to makeconclusions,  as  wellas  interviews  with  educators  and  students.  This  data analysis  technique  is  through  quantitative  descriptive  and  qualitative  descriptive.  The  results showed that the acquisition of indicator scores translated or identified problems 30.56; design or plan  problem  solving  with  a  score  of  52.78;  solve  problems  with  a  score  of  56.48;  and  the indicators explain or evaluate the results with the acquisition of a score of 55.56. Thus it can be concluded that the ability to makeconclusions of students, shows an average value of 48.84 in the category of low inference ability.

Abstract: Dental caries is a major problem in the oral cavity and can be found in all age groups. One of the causes of dental caries is poor oral hygiene. This study aimed to determine the level of caries and oral hygiene status in children aged 12-13 years in Junior High School St. Yohanis Laikit Village North Minahasa. Status caries and oral hygiene can be assessed using DMF-T index according to WHO and OHI-S is the score or the value of dental and oral examination according to Greene and Vermillion by summing Debris index (DI) and Calculus index (CI). This was a descriptive study conducted in Junior High School Santo Yohanis Laikit Village North Minahasa class 7 and 8. In general, the students belonged to the age group of 12-13 year olds. The total sample consisted of 57 students. The technique of sampling used total sampling. The results showed that the average DMF-T index was 2 (WHO categorized as low category), the average OHI-S index was 1.4 (WHO categorized as medium category. Conclusion: The status of caries and oral hygiene of Junior High School students of St. Yohanis Laikit village belonged to the medium category. Based on the dental and oral hygiene, the highest percentage of caries was in the medium category.Keywords: caries, oral hygiene, student junior high school.Abstrak: Karies gigi merupakan masalah utama pada rongga mulut dan dapat ditemukan pada semua golongan umur. Salah satu penyebab karies yaitu kebersihan gigi dan mulut yang buruk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat karies dan status kebersihan gigi dan mulut pada anak usia 12-13 tahun di SMP Santo Yohanis Penginjil Desa Laikit Minahasa Utara. Status karies dan kebersihan gigi dan mulut dapat dinilai menggunakan indeks DMF-T menurut WHO dan OHI-S merupakan skor atau nilai pemeriksaan gigi dan mulut menurut Greene and Vermillion dengan menjumlahkan Debris index (DI) dan Calculus index (CI). Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dan dilakukan di SMP Santo Yohanis Penginjil Desa Laikit Minahasa Utara kelas 7 dan 8 yang pada umumnya merupakan kelompok remaja umur 12-13 tahun dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 57 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan indeks DMF-T rata-rata sebesar 2 (dalam kategori WHO termasuk kategori rendah) dan indeks OHI-S rata-rata sebesar 1,4 (dalam kategori WHO termasuk dalam kategori sedang). Simpulan: Status karies dan kebersihan gigi dan mulut siswa SMP Santo Yohanis Penginjil Desa Laikit termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Berdasarkan status kebersihan gigi dan mulut, presentase karies terbanyak terdapat pada kategori sedang.Kata kunci: karies, kebersihan gigi dan mulut, siswa smp.

This research is development research. This study aims to develop VBA Powerpoint based learning media on SPLDV material for class VIII junior high school students. Samples for this research are taken from one of junior high school in Bandung. This study refers to the ADDIE development model which includes five stages, namely: Analysis (Analysis Phase), Design (Design Phase), Development (Development Phase), Implementation (Implementation Phase), and Evaluation (Evaluation Phase). The instrument of this research is in the form of assessment sheets for material experts, media experts, teachers and students. Based on the analysis of learning media through the instruments given to material experts, media experts, teacher and students obtained the following results, material experts stated that the product was very valid with an average value of 3.64 and media experts stated that the product was valid with an average value of 3.06. While the results of teacher responses can be concluded that the product is very valid with an average value of 3.50 and from the results of student responses can be concluded that the product is valid with an average value of 3.18.1

The main purpose of this study is to answer the following question. Is there any influence on the parents' work background of the 2018 SMP national exam (UN) results? The population of this study is junior high school students who are studying in 2018, while the sample is junior high school students in grade 9. The reason for selecting samples is students who are attending the National Examination in 2018. The data in this study take the form of test scores and questionnaires answered by junior high students in 34 analysis of one-way variance, the following results are obtained. Based on the national average value, the work provinces in all over Indonesia, namely 3224331 students from 37859 SMP. Based on the results of the of parents of junior high school students participating in the 2018 UN influences the 2018 National Examination results is proven. This means that there is a significant effect (P <0,000) of parents' work background on 2018 UN results for subjects: Indonesian, English, Mathematics, and Sciences, both on father's work, mother's work, or both together ( Sig. 0,000). The father's occupational background is more dominant in Indonesian and Mathematics subjects (lodging factors 0.467 and -0.218) than maternal occupational backgrounds (lodging factors are 1.261 and 0.195). The maternal occupational background is more dominant in English and Science subjects (lodging factor 0.244 and -0,054) than father's occupational background (lodging factors are 0,280 and 0,066) The conclusion is that the background of the work of parents of junior high school students has a significant influence on 2018 UN results.abstrakTujuan utama studi ini adalah menjawab pertanyaan berikut. Apakah terdapat pengaruh latar belakang pekerjaan orang tua siswa terhadap hasil ujian nasional (UN) SMP 2018? Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP yang sedang belajar pada tahun 2018, sedangkan sampelnya adalah siswa SMP kelas 9. Alasan pemilihan sampel adalah siswa yang sedang mengikuti UN tahun 2018. Data dalam penelitian ini berbentuk skor tes dan kuesioner yang dijawab siswa SMP di 34 provinsi di seluruh Indonesia, yaitu  3224331 siswa dari 37859 SMP. Berdasarkan hasil analisis varian satu jalur diperoleh hasil seperti berikut. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata nasional, pekerjaan orang tua siswa SMP peserta UN 2018 berpengaruh terhadap hasil UN 2018 adalah terbukti. Artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan (P<0,000) latar belakang pekerjaan orang tua siswa terhadap hasil UN 2018 untuk mata pelajaran: Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris, Matematika, dan IPA, baik pada pekerjaan ayah, pekerjaan ibu, maupun keduanya secara bersama-sama (Sig. 0,000). latar belakang pekerjaan ayah lebih dominan pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan Matematika (loding faktornya 0,467 dan -0,218) daripada latar belakang pekerjaan ibu (loding faktornya 1,261 dan 0,195. Latar belakang pekerjaan ibu lebih dominan  pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris dan IPA (loding faktornya 0,244 dan -0,054) daripada latar belakang pekerjaan ayah (loding faktornya 0,280 dan 0,066). Kesimpulannya adalah bahwa latang belakang  pekerjaan orang tua siswa SMP sangat berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil UN 2018.

This study aims to determine the application of applied biology in everyday life by junior high school students in Tabanan District of Bali Province. The method used in this research is survey research method. Respondents who are the subject of this research are grade VIII students from 3 sample schools in Tabanan District. The three sample schools are Public Junior High School 2 Tabanan, Public Junior High School 1 Kerambitan, and Public Junior High School 2 Penebel. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The questionnaire consists of 25 question items. The collected data is analyzed descriptively by presentation in the form of a complete description with visual data in the form of tables and graphs. Each question item is given a range of 0 to 5. The minimum score is 0, whereas the maximum score is 5. The total score of each student will be converted to a scale of 100. Next is determined the mean-value for each sample school. The mean grade of each sample school was then compared and classified. Categorization of the average value refers to the classification of absolute norms scale 5. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the application of applied biology by junior high school students in Tabanan District is still quite enough. This condition requires all of us who are work in the education sector to find solutions through further studies to a better level. Thus, the expectations of what students have learned in the field of biology are useful to them and their environment.
