The design is intended to create new work that focus on textile artwork to convey messages related to birth by exploring visual, symbol, and processing colors and techniques. The purpose of this artwork is to convey messages related to anti-drug awareness through textile artwork for an aesthetic element of the interior. The method used in this creation is the Gustami approach. This method goes through 6 stages, namely finding references in order to explore themes and topics, searching for theoretical foundations to determine techniques, materials, problems in creation, sketching, sketch completion, embodiment, and evaluation. The results of this design showed that (1) exploration in creating interior aesthetic artwork with the source of the idea of "birth" can be done by searching for layered data which is then outlined in a sketch taking into account colors and symbols, and (2) the work is realized with embroidery can be used to convey messages to raise anti-drug awareness in young generations.

The article focuses on the presentation of the Hungarian-Bulgarian valence dictionary, which is currently in preparation, against the background of an extremely actual task – the creation of an academic English-Bulgarian dictionary, adequately reflecting the current state of vocabulary in both languages. The author substantiates the need for such a dictionary, given the lack of general and specialized Hungarian-Bulgarian dictionaries, based on the theoretical foundations and principles of modern lexicography. Outlined are the main features of the dictionary, the specificities and approaches in the work of its compilation. The selection of material and the methods of its presentation are in accordance with the practical needs of learners of Hungarian as a foreign language.

We report on our work with the street community of Pittsburgh, specifically, a community-based action initiative we call the Mobile Thriving Respite (Institutional Review Board approval was obtained from our university). For 5 years, student advocate ethnographers from Point Park University have gathered data (e.g., long- and short-term interviews, participant-observations generating fieldnotes). The data revealed and supported the need for thriving beyond surviving homelessness. The data endorsed the creation of the mobile thriving respite. In the first part of this work, we will discuss some critical concepts regarding homelessness as a phenomenon and then argue that while surviving as enduring is necessary, there are some for whom survival is a perpetual, lethal state of being. We will discuss the theoretical foundations to the respite and offer researchers’ ethnographic accounts of the respite’s process and progress (We had to temporarily end the respite during the Covid-19 pandemic. To date, the respite has returned with “pop up” events outside at various locations). We will outline how the mobile thriving respite is a praxis as site of resistance as well as an emergent strategy, and an instantiation of communitas. We will then revisit surviving as collectively bearing witness and testifying to the lived experiences of those living outside.

The problem statement. Archival sphere can fit organically into the general concept of digital transformation of Ukraine’s economy. The creation of digital format of archival institutions should be based on identical branch standards and rules for the creation, preserving, accounting, description, using of digital copies in order to ensure a single collaboration algorithm between state, regional and municipal authority levels. The purpose of the research is to analyze the new trends of the management system of the archival sphere from the perspective of regulatory support for the implementation of digitalization tools of Ukrainian archival institutions. The methodology. To resolve the tasks of the research were used traditional complex of common scientific principles (determinism, imaging, unity of opposites) and methods (analysis and synthesis, systematic and structural, questionnaire, content-analysis, observation, statistical). The results. The article analyzes the legal tools as an element of state regulation of digitalization of the Ukrainian archival space. The results of the study were confirmed by a sociological survey on the topic “Do we need to adjust the regulatory basis the archival branch to the digitalization contexts?”. The scientific novelty of the research is to develop the theoretical foundations in the branch of archival sphere management due to context of regulatory support for provision of digitalization issue, including methods of analysis, synthesis and systematization, to generate the problem of introducing the modernizational legislation to manage the digitalization of archival sphere. Conclusions. It is reviewed in the research the influence of the state regulation on the task of systematic development of Ukrainian branch standards and other legal documentation, which is created to regulate the requirements of creation, accounting, preserving, and use of electronic document copies, as well as the collaboration between the archival institutions with stakeholders within a single online platform.

This chapter makes an analysis of the theoretical foundations of lawmaking in European private law. It shows that they can be traced to transnational and constitutional pluralist theories. The main question is in which respects legal pluralism should replace the monist, state-centred perspective on lawmaking that prevailed in Western Europe since the creation of the Westphalian nation state. It is argued that, even though the state remains the primary locus for lawmaking in private law in the EU, the rise of private regulation and the interaction between courts through judicial dialogues plead in favour of adopting a strong legal pluralist perspective. ‘Strong’ or ‘radical’ legal pluralism, other than monism or ‘ordered’ legal pluralism, holds that norms can co-exist without a formal hierarchy. Both a descriptive and a normative case are put forward in support of adopting this perspective.

The article presents an outline of the evolution of the geography of disability (since the 1930s) taking into account significant issues in the creation of theoretical foundations as well as practical action in ‘accessible tourism’. It may be considered a review. Based on an analysis of literature, the first section presents a definition of ‘accessible tourism’ and the development of the geography of disability, the result of which is the geographical model of disability. The second section is a synthetic presentation of the effect of geographical research on the development of theoretical accessible tourism concepts and their implications in practice. The final conclusions highlight the need to identify the level of detail in universal design principles applied to buildings, spaces, services, which are to fulfil the criteria of accessibility for people with various types of disability.

How do professionals respond when they are required to conduct work that does not match with their identity? We investigated this situation in an English public services organization where a major work redesign initiative required professionals to engage in new tasks that they did not want to do. Based on our findings, we develop a process model of professional identity restructuring that includes the following four stages: (1) resisting identity change and mourning the loss of previous work, (2) conserving professional identity and avoiding the new work, (3) parking professional identity and learning the new work, and (4) retrieving and modifying professional identity and affirming the new work. Our model explicates the dynamics between professional work and professional identity, showing how requirements for new professional work can lead to a new professional identity. We also contribute to the literature by showing how parking one’s professional identity facilitates the creation of liminal space that allows professional identity restructuring.
