The problem of space music as a special cultural phenomenon requires scientific understanding. The purpose of the article is to study the features of the emergence and development of space rock as a specific trend in modern popular culture using the history of the “HAWKWIND” group as an example. The chronology of sound recordings of the “HAWKWIND” group as one of the founders of the “Space Rock Music” is established. The role of Dave Broсk, Bob Kalvert and other group participants in the creation of creative music programs is noted. It is proved that these musicians are the principles of the historical phenomenon, which received popularity as “Space Rock”. For the first time, the analysis of “HAWKWIND” sound documents through the prism of the history of space music development has been proposed.

The purpose of the article is to explore the experience and to identify the best practices for modernizing the content and organizational structure of multilevel training of librarians in China. The methodology. The study has used a systematic approach, which allowed to consider all components of the Chinese higher education in the specialties “Library, Archive and Information Science”, to establish the continuity of educational levels of librarians, to find out the factors determining the training system’s modernization. There was carried out comparative and content analysis of the Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral higher education levels educational programs, implemented by Chinese universities in the specialty “Library Science”, “Information Management and Information Systems”. This allowed to determine the general and the specifics of the Information Field Science training in the People’s Republic of China (PRC), to establish interdisciplinarity educational components, to substantiate the objective strengthening of the information component in the content of higher education in library science. The results. The article has looked into the content and structure of 227 different levels educational programs (EP) of the information specialists training, with 41% of them being the Bachelor’s level EP, 49% — Master’s, and 9% — Educational-Scientific Programs (ESP) for the Doctor of Management degree (an equivalent to the Doctor of Philosophy) in Information Sciences, provided in 108 universities in China. There were clarified the EP peculiarities: about 40% of them are programs dedicated to Information Management and Information Systems (Program in Information Management & Information Systems); 35% — EP in Library Science (Program in Library Science); 31.5% — EP in Archive Science (Program in Archive Science). In terms of content, most EPs are interdisciplinary, which is due to the national information infrastructure digitalization and the focus of its components to support the basic technological processes of the information management life cycle. It is established that Chinese universities adhere to the IFLA Guidelines for Professional Library and Information Science (LIS) Educational Programs. The scientific topicality. It is substantiated that in the digital information market the content of modern librarian training should be updated with such relevant interdisciplinary educational components as: “Principles of competitive intelligence and artificial intelligence”, “Electronic library and consolidated information management”, “Intelligent control systems”, “Information security systems”, “Economics of Management and Information Industry”, “Methods of data mining”, “Knowledge extraction and management”, “Analysis and design of information systems”. The practical significance. Ukrainian institutions of higher education when improving educational programs in the can use the study results. Addressing to the best foreign practices of the library specialists training will allow increasing their competitiveness in the world information market and promoting better efficiency of the Ukrainian libraries work in the conditions of the society digitalization.

The problem statement. Archival sphere can fit organically into the general concept of digital transformation of Ukraine’s economy. The creation of digital format of archival institutions should be based on identical branch standards and rules for the creation, preserving, accounting, description, using of digital copies in order to ensure a single collaboration algorithm between state, regional and municipal authority levels. The purpose of the research is to analyze the new trends of the management system of the archival sphere from the perspective of regulatory support for the implementation of digitalization tools of Ukrainian archival institutions. The methodology. To resolve the tasks of the research were used traditional complex of common scientific principles (determinism, imaging, unity of opposites) and methods (analysis and synthesis, systematic and structural, questionnaire, content-analysis, observation, statistical). The results. The article analyzes the legal tools as an element of state regulation of digitalization of the Ukrainian archival space. The results of the study were confirmed by a sociological survey on the topic “Do we need to adjust the regulatory basis the archival branch to the digitalization contexts?”. The scientific novelty of the research is to develop the theoretical foundations in the branch of archival sphere management due to context of regulatory support for provision of digitalization issue, including methods of analysis, synthesis and systematization, to generate the problem of introducing the modernizational legislation to manage the digitalization of archival sphere. Conclusions. It is reviewed in the research the influence of the state regulation on the task of systematic development of Ukrainian branch standards and other legal documentation, which is created to regulate the requirements of creation, accounting, preserving, and use of electronic document copies, as well as the collaboration between the archival institutions with stakeholders within a single online platform.

The article is devoted to the analysis of a separate class of historical sources — aggregated data and the format of their presentation in the Ukrainian segment of the Internet, in particular, on the official Facebook pages of the authorities and administration of Ukraine. The groups, types, and kinds of aggregated data that can be used in the research activities of the historian, if for some reason such information is not available on other resources, were described. The question of qualitative characteristics of different types of aggregated data is considered, namely: significance, validity, relevance. An assessment is given of the studied array of summary data of such types as departmental statistics, expert data, the content of publications, information about events available on the official Facebook pages of the Lviv Regional State Administration (LRSA), and analysis of their historiographical characteristics.

The scientific topicality. Library departments of documentary heritage objects, corresponding stocks and collections of documents which belong to movable heritage objects of national and world culture need special attention from the point of view of the history of their formation, the modern scientific organization and disclosure, that is the relevance of the subject of the present research.  Problem statement. Modern scientific ideas concerning departments of documentary heritage objects at libraries need wide conceptual generalizations at an interdisciplinary level. Such approach offered in our article allows not to be limited only by factual knowledge, chronicle narratives, highly specialized observations and analytics. The methodology of this study are systemic and historical approaches and a problem analysis. The results. The article elucidates specific character of the subdivision of documentary heritage objects as one of the most important library cultural and scientific projects, describes conditions of genesis, the main stages of formation, peculiarities of functioning and development of such subdivision at Korolenko Kharkiv State Scientific Library, in particular in the modern socio-communicative environment.  The novelty. The article proves that a characteristic feature of the activities of the department of documentary heritage objects at a scientific library is multi-functionality, and in the modern conditions such department combines in ifs activities functions of research, scientific and educational institutions, information center and production and service center.  The practical significance. Offered and substantiated in the article conceptual view of library department of documentary heritage objects as a modern scientific and cultural project can be the basis for systematic work on improvement of such departments at scientific libraries of Ukraine.

Problem statement. Training problems for future professionals in information, library and archival activities (professionals in the field of information and information analysis, archival, library affairs, museum studies, program and program management, as well as database administrators, communication systems analysts and consolidated information analysts, etc.) are of great importance nowadays. Modern society needs such specialists, because the amount of information (which must be qualitatively processed) is constantly increasing, the level of information culture of mankind is constantly growing, the pace of development of information and communication technologies is accelerating. An important condition for the training of future competent professionals is the analysis of how satisfied they are today with the educational services provided by the university, because it significantly affects the motivation to learn, and its presence is a driving force in achieving goals. In this regard, the study becomes relevant because it will comprehensively help solve the problem of improving the quality of training of information, library and archival professionals, and in the future — their competitiveness in today’s labor market. The methodology of this study is represented by methods of analysis (study of documentary information — educational program, curricula; questionnaires), control questions (questionnaires of students), selection (compulsory subjects), systematization (bringing the results of the questionnaire into a certain system that allows them explanation from the standpoint of a systems approach), comparison, which made it possible to identify certain features in the results of the study. The result of this study is to determine the level of satisfaction of masters in information, library and archival affairs at the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” the quality of the educational component as an important condition for their training. The novelty of the study is that for the first time, using the google-form, the level of satisfaction of future masters in information, library and archival affairs with the educational component of professional training at the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” was investigated and analyzed. The percentage of satisfaction of undergraduates with each compulsory discipline is calculated, the obtained results are summarized and brought into a single system. The practical significance of the article is that its results can be used in further research on the selected topic. At the same time, the scientific results of this study can serve as material in the process of improving the educational and professional program of the specialty.

The purpose of this article is to provide analysis of some current indexes of effectiveness of Kharkiv State Academy of Culture official website for its use and identification of the problems. The methodology. The author used systematic and comparative approaches to study the performance of the website that influences its competitiveness. The results. The main source of the reliable information for some applicants and some applicants for university education is an official website of the university and its official pages on social media. The analysis of the statistical data of the Google Search Console service allowed to obtain the complete information for the last year about the data that influences the effectiveness and popularity of KSAC official website on the Internet. This article includes history of KSAC official website creation and development for the past 10 years. The role of the official website of the academy is considered and the website’s update plan is suggested. Google statistics were analyzed and some metrics that affect attendance figure were found. The obtained data allowed us to conclude that it is necessary to check and update the contact information, to make it more convenient to see. The most popular queries for searching KSAC website have been identified. KSAC website results of the performance indicators were studied and compared. The most popular devices using by the website visitors and their regional affiliation were defined. This paper also describes the problems and the prospects of KSAC official website development. The study results can formulate the requirements for further development of the website and the support tools. The scientific novelty. The author of this paper suggests us analyzing of the various Google indicators, which may influence the official website effectiveness. The practical significance. The study results are important to provide a systematic approach to the development and improvement of the official website. In particular, the performance indicators considered in this paper can be used as a basis for further development of recommendations for increasing the popularity and clickability of the website.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the universities’ presence on the social media as a part of universities’ communication policy and to define the most popular social media with the universities as the communication channels (on the example of Kharkiv). The digitalization processes in the contemporary society lead to appearing and sustainable development of the newest technologies and communication channels. Universities should keep in mind that their key audience is mostly young adults (17 years and older) who use the social media for searching some information, news, chatting. Thus it is obvious that universities should pay their attention carefully to the communication channel and they should use it actively for cooperation with the key audience, other universities, scientific and social organization etc. Thus, firstly it is important to learn how many universities are present on the social media and which social media are used by the universities most frequently. The methodology. The author used such methods as systematic analysis, comparative analysis to learn universities’ communication policy and their presence on the social media. The author used method of techniques analysis to define the percentage of the social media and their popularity with the universities and to define the universities rating according to the fact how many types of the social media the universities use in their communication policy. The results. The article describes Kharkiv universities communication policy that they provide via presence on the social media. The author provides the findings of investigation of universities presence on the social media. The author provides information about which types of the social media are used by the universities and which of them are used by the universities most frequently in their communication policy (all the data are quantitative and percentage). The article has the universities rating made by the author according to the social media quantity are using by each university. The novelty. It is first time of identifying the most popular with universities social media as a part of the universities communication policy and to define the universities rating according to the fact how many types of the social media the universities use in their communication policy. The practical significance. The research results can be used in education and for further improvement of research activities and for further researches of the content provided by the universities on the social media.

The scientific topicality. The book industry around the world has suffered significant losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It required the implementation of various anti-crisis measures and adaptation to these new circumstances. At present, a certain amount of experience has been accumulated, making it possible to summarize the effectiveness of measures taken in order to bring the book industry out of this crisis. Given that the People’s Republic of China was the first country to face the pandemic, its experience in transforming the book industry under such conditions deserves a detailed study. The purpose. Summarize the experience of transforming the book industry in PRC under the conditions of the pandemic; highlight its main directions; demonstrate that the success of overcoming the consequences of COVID-19 directly depends on the level of digitalization in the given field. The methodology. To achieve the stated goals, such methods as analysis of statistical material, sources on the topic of research, and summarization were used. The results. In the course of summarizing the experience of transforming the book industry of the PRC under the conditions of the pandemic, it was found that the success of overcoming the consequences of COVID-19 directly depends on the level of digitalization of the given field. The scientific novelty. For the first time, the experience of transforming the book industry of the PRC under the conditions of the pandemic is summarized. The practical significance. The successful experience of transforming the book industry of the PRC under the conditions of the pandemic can be used by other countries, including Ukraine. The conclusions. In the course of summarizing the experience of transforming the book industry in the PRC under the conditions of the pandemic, it was possible to highlight the following areas: transition mainly to online sales in book retail; active use of postal services as a delivery channel; opening of digital publishing resources to provide free access; expansion of media platforms for content distribution; organizing of online readings; use of multi-format content, multimedia content and cross-media for content distribution; use of the informative potential of the book industry to combat the pandemic in form of anti-epidemic publications and the development of platforms for informational resources. An analysis of this experience shows that the success of overcoming the consequences of COVID-19 directly depends on the level of digitalization of the book industry.
