Learning independence of students at Dayah muslim school  in North Aceh through various activities of Dayah in an effort to make Dayah's Alumni who are ready to adapt and continue life in  society. Various activities carried out are structured, so the control and evaluation are carried out periodically. The independence of Dayah's student in the present context will experience difficulties when the necessary of the times keep developing. If the student  are not ready, they will experience being overwhelmed to face global competition. This research aims to find out and describe the learning process of the independence of Islamic boarding students, especially those in the North Aceh area. This research uses a qualitative research approach with with a phenomenological approach that is descriptively qualitative. The results show student education of  Islamic boarding school in North Aceh can be described through several fields, such as students' independence in doing ubuduyah, students' independence education in recitation activities, independence education in carrying out social activities, students' independence education in developing economy through another skill.

This study aims to determine the pattern of development strategy Boarding School in Malangke. Pattern or strategic used by the container or place in order to process a change of plans that require the support of all parties to develop and improve educational quality. In this study, researchers used a qualitative research and data sources through interviews with the leadership of the cottage. Boarding school development opportunities in the North Luwu, belonging to the sub-national education system in Indonesia that aims to educate the nation, making the man who is faithful and devoted to God Almighty, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, skilled, creative. In addition, the boarding school New Belawa As'adiyah, considered successful because students-students directly involved in the community, for example in the Holy month of Ramadhan, these students were sent to be Imam in every mosque in Malangke. But beyond the success, there are some some of the barriers faced by Islamic Schools As'adiyah New Belawa (Malangke) include: 1) a more modern curriculum system, so that schools lag far from public schools, 2) Lack of funds and sources of funding due to lack of students. 3) the majority of parents are not keen to send children in school boarding school.

The times, especially in globalization era, will have an impact, one of which is on cultural changes in Indonesia. Similarly, the change occurs in Jakarta's culture, particularly Jakarta Ondel-ondel art which has changed in the term of its values​​. This research is intended to find out related cultural changes occurring in Jakarta, especially in Ondel-ondel art, in which the values of the ondel-ondel art begins to fade gradually due to deviations in the use of ondel-ondel in globalization era as a means of earning living through busking. In this study, we used a qualitative research approach through the library research method. The results of study indicate that in globalization era era, Jakarta people do not understand the meaning contained in the art of Ondel-ondel Jakarta, therefore a strategy is needed to maintain and develop Jakarta's Ondel-ondel art in globalization era and to restore the values ​​contained in the art.

Al Masruriyyah Islamic Boarding School is one of the huts of the Tebuireng foundation that is still hungry for discipline in obeying the rules of the cottage. Al Masruriyyah Islamic boarding schools apply ta’zir as a form of consequence for santri who violate the rules of the cottage. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of ta’zir in increasing the discipline of santri in Al Masruriyyah Islamic boarding schools. This study uses a qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained will be compiled by reducing/summarizing the data, then presenting the data and drawing conclusions.  Based on the research shows that: the implementation  of ta’zir carried out by the management and has been approved by the supervisor and caregivers for giving ta’zir every 2 weeks. The criteria for the distribution of ta’zir are 3 from the low, medium and heavy according to the mistakes that have been made. The procedure for giving ta’zir (1) is advised, (2) in ta’zir (3) to be called to Ndalem. The impact of the implementation of ta’zir is that there is a better change in the implementation of teaching and learning activities, obeying the rules, and discipline in worship activities to Allah SWT.

This study aims to analyze the role of the Riyadhul Jannah Islamic Boarding School in community economic empowerment in Pacet Village, Mojokerto. This study uses a qualitative research approach to understand phenomena about what is experienced by research subjects, such as subjects, perceptions, motivations, actions, and so forth. The results showed that the Riyadhul Jannah Islamic boarding school had a role in community empowerment around the boarding school. The role of Islamic boarding schools is shown by the activities of the business units of PT. Rijan Dinamis Selaras which involve communities around the boarding schools so that the benefits can be felt directly by the people of Pacet Village and its surroundings.Keywords: Economic Empowerment, Islamic Business, Islamic Communities

ABSTRACTThe purpose of his research is to find out and analyze the practice of the qardh in Islamic perspective, and the impact of the practice of financing with the Qardh contract on empowerment UMKM , as well as supporting and inhibiting factors and solutions of the empoerment. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with a phenomenological approach as the main theoretical basis. The data collection techniques used interviews, observation, documentation, about the practice of Qardh Practices at the Bank Wakaf Mikro Alpen Barokah Mandiri Islamic Perspective in empowerment Small and Medium Businesses (UMKM) Around the Boarding School. Today amidst the ongoing community crisis in various joints of life. The fact that we can see at this time that the younger generation who became the hope of the nation is far from the figure of the generation of dreams. People's progress will be largely determined by the progress of youth generation. Boarding School is a place that facilitates teenagers in religious formation, morality and noble morals, both for those whose parents are well off, or whose parents are not well-off, or whose parents are busy with their work. Baitul Anshor Boarding School is an institution that has a program in the development of religious, morality and noble character, that is with aspects of coaching ruhiyyah, fikriyah coaching and coaching jasadiyyah done for 24 hours from start the child wakes up until the child sleeps again.In this study the focus of attention is the form of guidance patterns of students or students who are developed in educating students in Boarding School. Data in this research is obtained from primary data and secondary data. Primary data are respondents. In this study the respondents are students or students of Baitul Anshor Boarding School. The informants, namely leaders of institutions, caregivers, and community leaders around Baitul Anshor Boarding School. The research approach used in this research is by qualitative method. While the data collection techniques used are by interview, observation and documentation.The pattern of guidance in Baitul Anshor Boarding School in providing guidance to students or santrinya takes place effectively and efficiently. The coaching of students or students of Baitul Anshor Boarding School can provide a new color in the development of Islamic education through coaching in accordance with the teachings of Islam is pure and in accordance with the demands of the times. This shows that Islamic educational institutions have an active role and have a high awareness of the needs of the community for quality education.

Islamic boarding school (pesantren) is the oldest Islamic educational institution in Indonesia. Pesantren is recognized as one of the institutions that can encourage the realization of multiculturalism amongst Muslims. However, recently pesantren has been alleged to be one of the centers for the spread of religious radicalism. This study is aimed at analyzing multicultural education in salaf (traditional) pesantren, that is appropriate and be able to prevent the growth and development of religious radicalism in Indonesia. The study is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach involving four salaf pesantrens in Java; namely Al-Qadir Pesantren of Sleman Yogyakarta, Dar al-Tauhid of Cirebon, Roudlatuth Thalibin of Rembang, and Tebuireng of Jombang. The research data were collected by observation, interviews, documentation, and focus-group discussions (FGD). Data were analyzed using an interactive technique. Findings showed that the forms of multicultural education at the four salaf pesantrens generally have similarities in the application of multiculturalism core values. However, each pesantren has its own specific peculiarities. The various cultures built up by the four caregivers of the salaf pesantrens have been effective to prevent the growth and development of religious radicalism at the  pesantren, particularly, and in the society, more generally.

The writer conducted a qualitative research approach of social phenomenology;the data in this study were collected by using observation, in-depth interviews, anddocumentations. In order to articulate the leadership of the Islamic boarding school,the data has been analyzed by using qualitative methods with the mindset ofdeductive-inductive. The process of data analysis carried out in phases: datareduction, data presentation, and conclusion.The dynamics of leadership in Islamic boarding school. The figure of Kiai isthe central figure and more of it is a determinant factor to the success of studentsin the search for knowledge, leadership models used a model of democraticleadership. In that sense, all the information from the outside before being madepolicies (rules) boarding schools, first in the filter by a caregiver. Developmentprograms are prioritized in formal and non-formal. The inhibitors of Islamicboarding school leadership, namely: Human Resource students, education funds,and the interest of society to change the tendency towards salafiyah and modernvalues. Supporting; Their means of education oriented to the development ofstudents, and institutions that help students accommodate their talents andinterests to develop.AbstrakPondok pesantren merupakan lembaga pendidikan Islam yangmenempatkan sosok kiai sebagai tokoh sentral dan masjid atau surausebagai pusat lembaganya. Lembaga ini merupakan institusi pendidikanIslam tertua di Indonesia dan sekaligus merupakan bagian dari warisanbudaya bangsa (indigenous culture). Maka, bukanlah kebetulan jikapesantren masih dapat bertahan hingga saat ini.Dinamika kepemimpinan di pesantren. Sosok kiai merupakan figursentral dan lebih dari itu merupakan faktor determinan terhadapsuksesnya santri dalam mencari pengetahuan, model kepemimpinanmenggunakan model kepemimpinan demokrasi. Dalam artian, Semuainformasi dari luar sebelum dijadikan kebijakan (aturan) pesantren,terlebih dahulu di filter oleh pengasuh. Pengembangan programdiprioritaskan pada pendidikan formal dan non-formal. Penghambat darikepemimpinan pesantren ini, yaitu: Sumber daya santri, Dana pendidikan,dan Minat masyarakat yang mengalami perubahan kecenderunganterhadap nilai salafiyah dan modern. Penunjangnya; Adanya saranapendidikan yang berorientasi pada pengembangan santri, dan lembagayang membantu santri mengakomodir bakat dan minatnya untukberkembang.

This Study at Al Baqiyatus Shalihat Islamic Boarding School in West Tanjung Jabung Regency, Karya Pembangunan Al-Hidayah Islamic Boarding School in Jambi City and Al-Munawaroh Boarding School in Merangin Regency Jambi Province. Life Skills Program are a group of skills program that include social skill, personal skill, academic skill and vocational skill. These skills are taught at Islamic boarding schools to equip students to live independently and have Islamic entrepreneurial behavior in the face of the development and progress of the times. The purpose of this study was to determine the management life skills program to improve the behavior of students in entrepreneurship, the excellence of managing life skills program that have been implemented by Islamic Boarding Schools and determined the behavior of students in entrepreneurship. The research approach is used to descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis using Miles and Huberman models and data validity techniques using data triangulation.
