Research and practice in the university education: reflexions about the psychoanalytical clinic internship in the service of applied psychologyAbstract: In 1912, Freud categorically states that, regarding psychoanalysis, research and treatment coincide. This article aims to discuss this statement in the light of the premises that guide a qualitative research, whose privileged field shall be the clinics. From a brief review of Freudian articles where the binomial research and clinics are problematized, we intend to discuss in what the clinics can be considered as a field of investigation, in which theory and practice are inseparable. At last, we address this problematic from the practice at a supervised internship under a psychoanalytical direction in the Service of Applied Psychology of Rio de Janeiro State University, where it was found ti be possible to make the clinical experience as a research field, on which we intend to testify. Despite the difficulties due to the academic structure to the psychoanalytical practice tout court within the scope of a school-clinic, the supervised internship experience in the psychoanalytical clinic stands on its fundamental pillars, constituting a formative experience, in the strong sense of the term. Keywords: Univesity education; Research; Methodology; Psychoanalytical clinics; Experience.

The scientific school “Methodology of pedagogy of music education” is a significant phenomenon in the pedagogy of music education. It was happened in the depths of the Department of methodology and methods of music education of the Moscow Pedagogical State University, headed by a talented scientist, a great teacher-musician, amazing person who gave his whole life to the education of future music teachers – Eduard B. Abdullin. Today, followers of this scientific school work in many parts of the world, continuing the ideas laid down by its founder. One of the conceptual positions of the School is the unity of philosophy, theory, and practice in the work of a teacher-musician, the attitude to music as a carrier of value, the most important “tool” for personality formation, and the source of student creative potential development. The philosophical level of the musical and pedagogical process is a key component of the worldview training of the future teacher-musician in all forms and at all levels of education at the University: in lecture and seminar-practical work, individual communication between the teacher and the student as a collective subject of the musical and creative process, in project and other extracurricular work. Philosophical understanding of music and music education is possible in three aspects: ontological, epistemological, and axiological. The unity of these facets of understanding the musical and pedagogical reality allows us to approach the study of the phenomenon in question from the position of a holistic, systematic, multi-level approach, which determines the research essence of the concept of Eduard B. Abdullin’s scientific school.

Nowadays, the academic productivism dare the university education of its original spirit object. So, the raise in publishing academic work does not reflect an increase of emancipatory capacity of the actors involved in the educational context, even though in students of graduate programs. Thus, this article seeks to counter productive and emancipatory education to the education based on productivism, implemented in Brazilian higher education in the last years. The relevance of this research consists in a proposal of reflection on the change of rules related to the academic field. Methodologically, a survey was carried out at the end of the first half of 2016. In addition, a review of the literature on the phenomenon discussed here is used in this article, using data from the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES). Also made a quantitative survey of the publication of articles in the last decade in three Brazilian journals and, finally, an interview with a coordinator of a master's program in administration in the State of Rio de Janeiro. At the end, it is believed that the essence of emancipatory education is damaged against the current productivist system.

It is natural for scientists, public figures, university professors and other higher education institutions, trustees of educa-tional districts, ministers of public education, statesmen, etc. to show interest in the so-called “university issue” in the conditions of formation and development of domestic university education in the XIX – the early XX century. Particularly heated discussions on this problem arise at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, when the activities of universities were regulatedby the reactionary statute of 1884. Many well-known progressives (V. Vernadskyi, M. Pyrohov, I. Sechenov, K. Timiriaziev, Ye. Tru-betskoi, S. Trubetskoi, P. Fortunatov, O. Shvarts and others) advocated the expansion of university rights, and the idea of an au-tonomous independent university became key. The position of supporters of the independence of universities was manifested in the relevant appeals. Thus, in 1899, ten professors submitted a note to the Minister of Education, which referred to the humiliating role of teachers, defined by regula-tions. In 1905, 342 scholars prepared for publication in the journal “Herald of Europe” a special document “Note on the needs of education”, which spoke about the progress of scientific progress through the efforts of domestic scientists and the inappro-priate attitude of the authorities to such achievements. Numerous publications show interest in the university issue. For example, O. Posnikov, V. Sobolevskyi, O. Chuprov substantiate the effectiveness of university autonomy in the columns of the periodical “Russian Gazette”. K. Timiriaziev in his own collection of articles “Science and Democracy” advocates the principle of academic freedom. P. Struve in the preface to O. Heorhiievskyi’s book “A Brief Essay on Government Measures and Predictions Against Student Riots” reflects on human rights violations in universities, the oppression of the rights of teachers and students. V. Vernadskyi writes in the article “On the Professorial Congress” about the importance of creating an “Association for Achieving Academic Freedom and Improving the Conditions of Academic Life”. The study made it possible to state a great interest in the “university question” at the turn of the XIX–XX centuries. Note that this problem is related to the conceptual “idea of the university”, which is interpreted as a combination of the whole set of knowledge and ideas about the university: goals, objectives, principles, structure, functions, internal and external relations, place and role in society at a certain specific historical stage.

Higher educational institutions are encouraged to implement the Outcome-Based Education to prepare instructors to be competitive and produce graduates who are ready to meet the global job needs. To determine the level of implementation of the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) in Central Philippines State University, the researcher employed the sequential explanatory mixed-method design which involves two phases: the quantitative followed by qualitative. The quantitative data were collected through a validated survey instrument, while the qualitative data were gathered from the participants through an in-depth semi-structured interview which culled out their experiences on the implementation of the Outcome-Based Education. The findings of the study revealed that Outcome-Based Education standards were moderately implemented in the university. This means that the learning experiences of students and the teaching methodology could hardly develop their skills to attain the intended learning outcomes. Qualitatively, the results yielded different themes that brought forth an eidetic insight that the OBE implementation is collaborative and value-laden effort: bridging theory and practice of the academic community. The research findings were used as a basis for designing the proposed CPSU-Operational Plan using the Approach, Deployment, Learning, Integration (ADLI) model that can be adopted and implemented by the University.

The Gold Coast was renamed Ghana by the political leadership on the attainment of Independence. But before 1957, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah had become Prime Minister of the Gold Coast in 1952, and by this arrangement ruled alongside the British Colonial Governor. Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah set out to rebuild the new nation, and by doing so, Education, especially University Education, became a significant tool for the realization of such an objective. He, and the Convention People’s Party (CPP) Government saw education as “the keystone of people’s life and happiness.’’1 Thus, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah wanted the University Colleges in the Gold Coast to train intellectuals capable of combining both theory and practice as well as use their energies to assist in the task of national reconstruction.2 This explains why Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah clearly spelt out the visions of University Education in Ghana. This paper, which is multi-sourced, uses archival documents, newspapers, interviews and scholarly secondary works such as articles, book chapters and books to examine the visions of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah for University Education in the early stages of self-government and independence in Ghana. The paper particularly focuses on measures adopted by the first Prime Minister of Ghana such as establishment of an International Commission on University Education (ICUE), making the existing University Colleges independent, the rationale for setting up the University College of Cape Coast (UCCC), the Africanization of the University staff, establishment of the Institute of African Studies and the formation of the National Council for Higher Education to transform the University Colleges to reflect the needs and aspirations of Ghanaians.   _________________________________________ 1 H.
