Sekar Makaryo Women's Farmers Group (KWT) is a group of women farmers in the village of Blayu who have a farming plant mendong and crafts mendong from former material. Former mendong so far can only be made into ropes and slaps at low prices. KWT is difficult to innovate for the development of mendong crafts. This program seeks to empower KWT in the development of crafts mendong through diversification of handicraft products. The method of implementation is carried out through training and mentoring the development of creative crafts mendong using 6 motives Non-Weaving Tools (ATBM). The results of the agreed program implementation were the active participation of participants in training, counseling and assistance during the implementation of the program which was very good, mediating the ability of partners to select and sort intact mendong fibers and upkiran as raw material for making crafts mendong, selection of partners' skills in fiber rope coloring techniques. mendong, and activate the participant's skills in using the ATBM motif 6. Other results are effective mentoring activities and the availability of infrastructure consisting of two ATBM 6 motif units and a sewing machine that helps partner groups in making various motifs, sewing and mending crafts such as gloves , wallet and sandals. ABSTRAKKelompok Wanita Tani Sekar Makaryo (KWT) adalah sekumpulan wanita tani di desa Blayu yang memiliki usahatani tanaman mendong dan kerajinan mendong dari bahan upkiran. Mendong upkiran selama ini hanya bisa dibuat menjadi tikar dan tali tampar dengan harga jual yang murah. Kemampuan, keterampilan dan ketersediaan peralatan penunjang kerajinan yang dimiliki anggota KWT Sekar Makaryo sangat terbatas sehingga KWT Sekar makaryo belum berani berinovasi untuk pengembangan kerajinan mendong. Program ini bertujuan memberdayakan KWT Sekar Makaryo dalam pengembangan kerajinan mendong melalui diversifikasi produk kerajinan. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan pengembangan seni kreatif kerajinan mendong menggunakan Alat Tenun Bukan Mesin (ATBM) 6 motif. Hasil dari pelaksanaan program diantaranya adalah peran aktif peserta dalam kegiatan pelatihan, penyuluhan dan pendampingan selama pelaksanaan program yang sangat baik, meningkatnya kemampuan mitra dalam memilih dan memilah serat mendong utuh dan upkiran sebagai bahan baku pembuatan kerajinan mendong, meningkatnya ketrampilan mitra dalam teknik pewarnaan tali serat mendong, dan meningkatnya ketrampilan peserta dalam pengoperasian ATBM 6 motif. Hasil lainnya adalah kegiatan pendampingan yang berjalan efektif serta tersedianya sarana prasarana berupa dua unit ATBM 6 motif dan mesin jahit yang membantu kelompok mitra dalam menghasilkan berbagai motif tenun dan kerajinan mendong seperti tikar, dompet dan sandal.

The village is an integral part of cities in Indonesia since its inception. Each village is unique because it represents historical uniqueness, diverse physical patterns, complex and dynamic social systems. Jakarta City as the largest city in Indonesia has its own challenges in managing the Urban Villages. One of the urban villages in Jakarta is Tanjung Gedong Village, located in RT.05 / RW.08 Tomang Village, Grogol Petamburan District. The selection of RT.05 / RW.08 as a PKM activity partner was because the location of the target partner was around the UNTAR campus, so the PKM activity became a tangible manifestation of UNTAR's contribution to the surrounding environment. The Proposing Team has also conducted PKM activities at the Partner's location, so it is hoped that the proposed program will be sustainable. Tanjung Gedong Village RT.05 / RW.08 Tomang Village has an area of 1.3 hectares with a population of 300 people (60 households). Problems owned by Partners to create a healthy and comfortable environment for residents: First, spatial planning is not optimal and flexible to accommodate a variety of social activities from the community. Secondly, the partners currently lack green open space. The proposed solution is the Proposed Green Village Structuring Concept by involving active participation from Partners (RW-RT leadership, Residents) using 3 approaches, namely: Green Planning and Design, Green Open Space and Green community. The proposed Green Village concept is expected to overcome the problems faced by partners so that a healthy and comfortable residential environment for residents is achievedABSTRAK:Kampung merupakan bagian integral kota-kota di Indonesia sejak awal pembentukannya. Setiap kampung memiliki keunikan karena merepresentasikan kekhasan sejarah, pola fisik yang beragam, sistem sosial yang kompleks dan dinamis. Kota Jakarta sebagai kota terbesar di Indonesia memiliki tantangan tersendiri dalam mengelola Kampung Kotanya. Salah satu kampung kota di Jakarta adalah Kampung Tanjung Gedong yang terletak di RT.05/RW.08 Kelurahan Tomang, Kecamatan Grogol Petamburan. Pemilihan RT.05/RW.08 sebagai Mitra kegiatan PKM karena lokasi mitra sasaran berada di sekitar kampus 1 UNTAR, sehingga kegiatan PKM ini menjadi salah satu wujud nyata kontribusi UNTAR terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Tim Pengusul juga telah melakukan kegiatan PKM di lokasi Mitra, sehingga diharapkan program yang diusulkan akan berkesinambungan. Kampung Tanjung Gedong RT.05/RW.08 Kelurahan Tomang memiliki luasan 1,3 Ha dengan jumlah penduduk 300 orang (60 KK). Permasalahan yang dimiliki oleh Mitra untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang sehat dan nyaman untuk warga: Pertama, tata ruang belum optimal dan fleksibel untuk mewadahi beragam aktivitas sosial dari masyarakat. Kedua, saat ini mitra masih kekurangan ruang terbuka hijau. Solusi yang diusulkan adalah Usulan Konsep Penataan Kampung Hijau dengan melibatkan partisipasi aktif dari Mitra (pemangku pimpinan RW-RT, Warga) menggunakan 3 pendekatan, yaitu: Green Planning and Design, Green Open Space dan Green community. Usulan konsep Kampung Hijau diharapkan dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra sehingga tercapai sebuah lingkungan hunian yang sehat dan nyaman untuk warga.

Zharkovo 3 settlement is located in the south of Western Siberia in the steppe Altai. The site was studied by archaeologists of the Altai State University and they discovered two building horizons: one of the Andronovo time (one house was studied) and the other of the Late Bronze Age (two structures and a soot pit). The paper presents the results of a comprehensive analysis of the Andronovo (Fedorovo) ceramics of the Zharkovo 3 settlement. Fragments of 74 different vessels were used to analyze the ornamentation. The method of V.F. Gening was used. The authors conducted the analysis of shapes and ornamentation of the ancient tableware, and analysis of the technology of its manufacture. It has been established that the collection contains vessels of cap- and pot-shaped forms, the predominant technique of ornamentation of which is stamping. The ornamental compositions mainly consist of four or more different motifs. A series of 49 samples, apparently from 47 vessels, was subjected to technical and technological analysis. The method of study of ceramics, developed by A.A. Bobrinsky and follow-ers of his school within the framework of the historical and cultural approach, was used. The potters of the village preferred medium-plastic clay of medium iron content as the raw material. The main recipe for the paste composi-tion was ‘clay + chamotte + organics’. Research into the construction of the pottery has revealed consistent skills in its manufacture. The patchwork-lumpy and spiral-patchwork methods of forming the vessel hollow body, recorded in the settlement, are characteristic of the Andronovo ceramics throughout its distribution area. It can be stated that the Andronovo population, who left the pottery of the Zharkovo 3 settlement, achieved a certain unity of cultural traditions in selection of the raw materials and paste composition. Almost all vessels of the site exhibited the use of the same type of mineral additives — chamotte. Deviations in concentration and dimension of its particles are associated with individual differences in the skills of the potters of the settlement. The presence on the site of individual vessels with pronounced differences in manufacturing technology should be regarded as examples of imports.

The Role of Agricultural Extension in the Development of Women Farmers Group (KWT), (A Case on Kace Canavalia Bean Processing on the KWT of Karang Sari and KWT of Merta Sari in the Village of Nyanglan, Sub-District of Banjarangkan, Regency of Klungkung Agricultural extension is a non formal education conducted by farmers to change the behavior of farmers, so that farmers become more advanced. Effective communication can support the success of agricultural extension, more importantly is to change the attitude and behavior of agricultural communities so that they learn and want to apply the information provided by Agricultural Extension. The objective of the research was to identify the roles of agricultural extension officers in the promotion of Women Farmers Group, either their role as educator, information dissemination/innovator, facilitator, consultant, supervision, monitoring and evaluation. The research was conducted in the KWT of Karang Sari and Merta Sari, the location of the study was chosen by purposive sampling. Selection of respondents was by saturated sampling method in accordance with the number of members of KWT i.e. as many as 14 people, and by using descriptive qualitative analysis method, i.e. the research aimed to provide description and explanation of the variables studied. The findings of the research showed that the role of agricultural extension in the KWT guidance, especially in the processing of Canavalia bean at KWT Karang Sari and Merta Sari has been able to play well in carrying out their duties. Revenue of KWT member of respondent is still below the Minimum Wage of Regency / City (UMK), which is Rp. 1,839,750.00 per month. This means that the extension workers are expected to foster the group of women farmers in processing Canavalia bean to have a high selling value in order to create independence and creativity of farmers in innovating to develop processed Canavalia bean products.

Crude palm oil (CPO)is the richest natural plant source of carotenoids in terms of retinol (pro-vitamin A) equivalent, whereas palm oil mill effluent (POME) is generated from palm oil industry that contains oil and carotenes that used to be treated before discharge. Carotenoids are importance in animals and humans for the purpose of the enhancement of immune response, conversion of vitamin A and scavenging of oxygen radicals. This component has different nutritional  functions and benefits to humaan health. The growing interest in the other natural sources of beta-carotene and growing awareness to prevent pollution has stimulated the industrial use of CPO and POME as a raw material for carotenoids extraction. Various technologies of extraction and separation have been developed in order to recover of carotenoids.This article reports on various technologies that have been developed in order to recover of carotenoids from being destroyed in commercial refining of palm oil and effects of some various treatments on the extraction end separation for carotenoid from palm oil and carotenoids concentration. Principally, there are different technologies, and there is one some future which is the use of solvent. Solvent plays important role  in the most technologiest, however the problem of solvents which are used is that they posses potentiaal fire health and environmental hazards. Hence selection of the  most safe, environmentally friendly and cost effective solvent is important to design of alternative extraction methods.Chemical molecular product design is one of the methods that are becoming more popular nowadays for finding solvent with the desired properties prior to experimental testing.ABSTRAKMinyak sawit kasar merupakan sumber karotenoid terkaya yang berasal dari tanaman sawit sebagai senyawa yang sama dengan retinol atau pro-vitamin A; sedangkan limbah pengolahan minyak sawit dihasilkan dari industri pengolahan minyak sawit yang berisi minyak dan karotene yang perlu diberi perlakuan terlebih dahulu sebelum dibuang. Karotenoid merupakan bahan penting yang diperlukan pada hewan dan manusia guna memperkuat tanggapan terhadap kekebalan, konversi ke vitamin A dan penangkapan gugus oksigen radikal. Dengan berkembangnya ketertarikan dalam mencari beta-karotene yang bersumber dari alam lain dan meningkatnya kesadaran untuk mencegah adanya pencemaran lingkungan, maka mendorong suatu industri untuk menggunakan CPO dan POME sebagai bahan baku untuk diekstrak karotenoidnya. Berbagai macam teknologi guna mengekstrak dan memisahkan karotenoid telah dikembangkan untuk mendapatkan kembali karotenoidnya. Makalah ini melaporkan dan membahas berbagai jenis teknologi yang telah dikembangkan guna mendapatkan kembali senyawa karotenoid dari kerusakan di dalam proses pemurnian minyak sawit secara komersial dan pengaruh beberapa perlakuan terhadap ekstrasi dan pemisahan karotenoid dari minyak sawit dan konsentrasi karotenoidnya. Pada prinsipnya, berbagai teknologi yang digunakan untuk mengekstrak dan memisahkan karotenoid terdapat perbedaan, dan terdapat salah satu teknologi yang digunakan untuk esktrasi dan pemisahan karotenoid adalah menggunakan bahan pelarut. Pelarut yang digunakan mempunyai peranan yang penting dalam teknologi ekstrasi; namun pelarut yang digunakan untuk mengekstrak tersebut mempunyai persoalan karena berpotensi mengganggu kesehatan dan membahayakan cemaran lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, pemilihan jenis teknologi yang aman, ramah terhadap lingkungan dan biaya yang efektif untuk penggunaan pelarut merupakan hal penting sebelum dilakukan desain metode/teknologi alternatif untuk esktrasi karotenoid. Pola produk molekuler kimia merupakan salah satu metode yang saat ini menjadi lebih populer untuk mencari pelarut dengan sifat-sifat yang dikehendaki sebelum diujicobakan. Kata kunci :    karotenoid, ekstrasi, pemisahan, teknologi, minyak sawit kasar, limbah industri pengolahan sawit.

The head of the environment is an extension of the head of the village head in assisting or providing services to the community both in the administration of administration in the village and to other problems. It is natural for a kepling to be appreciated for their performance during their special tenure in the kecamatan field area. Previously, the selection of a dipling in a sub-district was very inefficient and seemed unfair for this exemplary selection to use a system to produce an accurate value, and no intentional element. To overcome the process of selecting an exemplary kepling that experiences these obstacles by using an application called a Decision Support System. Decision Support System (SPK) is a system that can solve a problem, and this system is also assisted with several methods, namely the Rank Order Centroid (ROC) method that can assign weight values to each of the criteria based on their priority level. And to do the ranking or determine an exemplary set using the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method, this method provides decision making that takes decisions based on ranking or the highest value.Keywords: Head of Medan Area Subdistrict, SPK, Centroid Rank Order, Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS).

The paper presents instructive methodology for introducing and realizing the HACCP system in pig production, as a typical representative of intensive breeding, with the objective of establishing radiation-hygiene supervision. Attention was focused on the type of pig diet as the key link in the production chain, in fact the selection of the raw material components necessary in the production of pig feed concentrates for intense breeding conditions, and on the establishment of a certain radiation-hygiene balance through prognostic-selective methodology, as a guarantee of radiation safety.
