Abstract : This study aims to determine how big the relationship between parental attachment to emotional intelligence in IBA Palembang high school teenagers. While the research hypothesis is that there is a significant relationship between Parental Attachment to Emotional Intelligence in adolescents. This study uses a quantitative approach with a product moment correlation design. This research was conducted in Palembang City which consisted of 60 women and 70 men. The sampling technique used in this study is a random sampling technique because the sampling of population members is done randomly by selecting the criteria that have been set by the researcher. Data were collected through a parental attachment scale with 40 items referred to from the theory of Armsden and Greenbreg (2009). Emotional Intelligence Scale with 40 items from Goleman (2009). The category of adolescents who have parental attachment is included in the high category. The instrument validation technique uses content validity and Cronbach's Alpha coefficient reliability. The results showed that there was a relationship between parental attachment to emotional intelligence in adolescents with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.01). Data were analyzed using Product Moment Person correlation analysis. The results showed that there was a very significant relationship between Parental Attachment to Emotional Intelligence in Adolescents at SMA IBA Palembang rxy > rtable : 0.736 > 0.266, a significant level of 0.01, which means that the higher the attachment, the higher the Emotional Intelligence. It can be concluded that parental attachment has a relationship with emotional intelligence in adolescents. Keywords: attachment, emotional intelligence, adolescents.   Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan antara kelekatan orangtua terhadap kecerdasan emosi pada remaja SMA IBA Palembang. Sedangkan hipotesis penelitian adalah ada hubungan yang signifikan antara Kelekatan Orang Tua Terhadap Kecerdasan Emosi pada remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional product moment. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Palembang yang terdiri dari 60 wanita dan 70 pria. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik random sampling karena pengambilan sampel anggota populasi dilakukan secara acak dengan memilih kriteria yang telah ditetapkan peneliti. Data dikumpulkan melalui skala kelekatan orangtua dengan 40 item yang diacu dari teori Armsden dan Greenbreg (2009). Skala Kecerdasan Emosi dengan 40 item dari Goleman (2009). Kategori remaja yang memiliki kelekatan orang tua termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Teknik validasi instrumen menggunakan validitas konten dan reliabilitas koefisien Alpha Cronbach. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara kelekatan orangtua terhadap kecerdasan emosi pada remaja dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p <0,01). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi Product Moment Person. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara Kelekatan Orang Tua Terhadap Kecerdasan Emosi Pada Remaja SMA IBA Palembang rxy > rtabel  : 0,736 > 0,266 taraf signifikan 0,01 yang berarti  bahwa semakin tinggi Kelekatan maka semakin tinggi Kecerdasan Emosi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kelekatan orangtua ada hubungan terhadap kecerdasan emosi pada remaja.   Kata kunci: kelekatan, kecerdasan emosi, remaja.

This research aims to know the relationship between emotional intelligence with Adaptive coping strategies, relationships with democratic parenting and adaptive coping strategies and the relationship between emotional intelligence and democratic parenting with Adaptive coping strategies on senior students. The population in this research is the senior students at the Faculty of psychology of the University of Medan Area. Sample research amounted to 74 students were taken with purposive sampling technique. The instruments used are emotional intelligence scale, parenting democratic scale and adaptive coping strategy scale. Results of multiple regression analysis shows amounted to 469.324 with Freg value p = 0.000 (p 0.005) it shows that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and democratic parenting with adaptive coping strategies. Partially, there is the relationship between emotional intelligence with adaptive coping strategies with rxy = 0.00 0.936 with p , and there is a relationship between democratic parenting with adaptive coping strategies rxy = 0.920 with p 0.00. The value of R2 of 0.933 emotional intelligence means and foster democratic patterns together contributed effectively amounted to 93.3% against adaptive coping strategies.

Inteligensia merupakan bekal potensi yang akan memudahkan dalam belajar dan menghasilkan prestasi belajar yang optimal. Namun taraf intelegensi bukan merupakan satu-satunya faktor yang menentukan keberhasilan seseorang, karena ada faktor lain yang mempengaruhi diantaranya adalah kecerdasan emosional (EQ). Pemain futsal harus memiliki tingkat emosi (EQ) yang baik dan memiliki tingkat intelektual (IQ) yang seimbang agar bisa membantu tim atau dirinya sendiri dalam keberhasilan di bidangnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat kecerdasaan intelektual (IQ) dan kecerdasaan emosional (EQ) dengan penampilan bermain futsal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa baru UKM Futsal UPI. Sample penelitian berjumlah 23 orang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampling menggunakan purposive  sampling. Instrument yang digunakan adalah kuesioner untuk mengetahui tingkat kecerdasaan intelektual dan kecerdasaan emosional dan penampilan bermain futsal. Hasil analisa data dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut : 1) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara IQ dengan penampilan bermain futsal, 2) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara EQ dengan penampilan bermain futsal, dan 3) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara IQ dan EQ dengan penampilan bermain futsal.Relationship between Intellectual Intelligence (IQ) and Emotional Intelligence (EQ) with Futsal Playing AppearanceAbstractIntelligence is a potential provision that will facilitate learning and produce optimal learning achievement. But the level of intelligence is not the only factor that determines a person's success, because there are other factors that influence including emotional intelligence (EQ). A futsal player must have a good level of emotion (EQ) and have a balanced intellectual level (IQ) in order to help the team or himself in success in his field. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of intellectual intelligence (IQ) and emotional intelligence (EQ) with the performance of playing futsal. The research method used is quantitative descriptive method with correlation design. The population in this study was UPI Futsal UKM students. 23 student samples were taken by using a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire to determine the level of intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence and the appearance of playing futsal. The results of data analysis can be concluded as follows : 1) there is a significant relationship between IQ with the appearance of playing futsal, 2) there is a significant relationship between EQ with the appearance of playing futsal, dan 3) there is a significant relationship between IQ dan EQ with the appearance of playing futsal.

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu yang terdiri dari 5 kelas. Sampel penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling, jumlah siswa yang menjadi sampel sebanyak 44 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dua instrumen yaitu, kuisioner kecerdasan emosional dan dokumentasi prestasi belajar dari nilai rapor. Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji korelasi product moment diperoleh nilai korelasi r = 0,417. Nilai rtabel = 0,297 untuk N = 44 dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Nilai rhitung (0,417) > rtabel (0,297) maka diputuskan menerima hipotesis alternatif (H1) dan menolak hipotesis awal (H0). Artinya terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Kata kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional dan Prestasi Belajar Matematika The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence with mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. The population of this study is all students of VIII grade at SMP Negeri 8 Palu consisting of 5 classes. The sample was obtained by using random sampling technique. The total number of the sample was 44 students. The data collection used two instruments, namely, emotional intelligence questionnaire and documentation of learning achievement from the report card. The results of data analysis using product moment correlation test obtained correlation value r = 0.417. Value of rtable = 0,297 for N = 44 with significance level 5%. The value of rcount (0.417)> rtable (0.297) then decided to accept the alternative hypothesis (H1) and reject the initial hypothesis (H0). This means there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. SMAN 5 Jember is a school that has received the Adiwiyata program predicate. Based on the phenomenon, students who have environmental knowledge do not necessarily have attitudes and behaviors that care about the environment. This is not in line with the school's goal of maintaining the status of a Adiwiyata school. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between environmental knowledge and environmental care and environmental care behavior among students of SMAN 5 Jember in the 2018-2019 academic year. This study uses a nonexperimental correlational quantitative approach using the ex post facto method. The population in this study were students of class X and XI, amounting to 480 students. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used Kendall's Tau Correlation. Based on the results of the research on the relationship between environmental knowledge and environmental care attitudes in students of SMAN 5 Jember, the results obtained were 0.000 < 0.05 so that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected, meaning that there was a significant relationship. The relationship between environmental knowledge and environmental care behavior results in 0.532> 0.05 so that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that there is no significant relationship. Keywords: Adiwiyata, Knowledge, Attitude, and Behavior   SMAN 5 Jember merupakan sekolah yang mendapatkan predikat program Adiwiyata. Berdasarkan fenomena siswa yang memiliki pengetahuan lingkungan belum tentu memiliki sikap dan perilaku peduli lingkungan. Hal ini tidak selaras dengan tujuan sekolah mempertahankan status sekolah Adiwiyata. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan lingkungan dengan sikap peduli lingkungan dan perilaku peduli lingkungan pada siswa SMAN 5 Jember tahun pelajaran 2018-2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional non eksperimental menggunakan metode ex post facto. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X dan XIyang berjumlah 480 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik sampling proportionate stratified random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan Kendall’s Tau Correlation. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian hubungan pengetahuan lingkungan dengan sikap peduli lingkungan pada siswa SMAN 5 Jember diperoleh hasil 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak artinya ada hubungan yang signifikan. Hubungan pengetahuan lingkungan dengan perilaku peduli lingkungan diperoleh hasil 0,532 > 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak artinya tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan. Adolescence is a unique time in the phase of teenage life, where a person who has entered adolescence has a unique characteristic. With these distinctive characters, teenagers are required to be able to adjust well to the surrounding individuals. However, not all teenagers have a good adjustment. This has become one of the obstacles in the lives of teenagers to lead a healthy life. One other obstacle is the problem of emotional maturity, because there are still many teenagers who do not have good emotional maturity. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and adjustment at SMPN 19 Surabaya. The study population was all students of class VIII, totaling 261 people and a sample of 106 students. The sampling technique used in this study is non random sampling with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires arranged on a Likert scale. The study showed very significant results, where the value of r = 0.809 with p = 0.000 (p <0.010). This means that the proposed hypothesis is accepted. Emotional maturity has a very significant relationship with adapting to adolescents at SMPN 19 Surabaya

The purpose this study was to determine the relationship between secure attachment with achievement motivation,  the relationship between autonomy with achievement motivation, and the relationship between secure attachment and autonomy with achievement motivation in adolescents students. The population of this research was students of class X, XI and XII Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Tebing Tinggi. The sample was 103 students were take by stratified random sampling technique. This study used secure attachment scale, autonomy scale, and achievement motivation scale. Double regression analysis showed FCOUNT  33, 482 with  p = 0,000 (p0,005). The result indicate that there was significant correlation between secure attachment and autonomy with achievement. Patrially, there is a significant relationship secure attachment with achievement rxy = 0,365 with  p 0,01 and there is a significant relationship between autonomy with achievement motivation  rxy = 0,361 with  p 0,01. R2 square value was 0, 527 it means that secure attachment and autonomy simultaneously contribute 52,7% toward achievement motivation.

This study investigated the influence of emotional intelligence, interpersonal communication and job satisfaction on the job performance of staff in Chevron Nigeria Limited, Warri. Four null hypotheses guided the study. The correlation research design was adopted in the study. A sample of 400 was selected by the researchers using simple random sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection was a validated and reliable questionnaire. Regression statistics was used to test the stated null hypotheses, at 0.05 level of significance. The findings in the study showed that the four null hypotheses were rejected which is an indication that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence, interpersonal communication, job satisfaction and job performance of staff in Chevron Nigeria Limited.

Descriptively, the purpose of this research is to know the tendency of creativity, numerical ability, the students’attitude in mathematics and achievement of the students. Correlatively, the purpose is to determine the relationship between creativity, numerical ability, the students’attitude in mathematics with the achievement matematics of the students. The population of this study was all students of VIII of Junior High School in Pundong district on 2013/2014 academic year. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The results of this descriptive study showed that the tendency category of creativity in medium, numerical ability in high, the students’attitude in mathematics in medium and achievement of the students in high. Correlatively, it show R=0,899 its means that there is positive and significant relationship between creativity, numerical ability and the students’attitude in mathematics  with the achievement matematics of the students.

Many violence cases as brawls and fights whose committed by juveniles were caused by many factors. This study aimed to find out the relationship between the intensity of watching violence on television with aggressiveness tendencies in adolescents. This study used a quantitative correlation approach that using the intensity watching violence on television as an independent variable (X) and the tendency of aggressiveness as the dependent variable (Y). The sampling technique used random sampling to 69 students of class IX in MTs Negeri 1 Bangil. Measurement of variables used both of two psychologycal scales that constructed by researchers, namely the intensity of watching violence on television scale and aggressiveness tendency scale. Correlation technique of product moment from Pearson was used to analyze data which of calculation helped by SPSS 16.0 for Windows. The result showed that (r) = 0.404; ρ = 0.001 < ρ = 0.01. It means, there is a significant relationship and positive, the higher of the intensity of watching violence on television, the higher of the aggressiveness tendencies in adolescents and vice versa.

The investigator was conducted to study the Emotional intelligence and Teaching competency of B.Ed. students in Kanyakumari District. The investigator collected data from 330 student-teachers by stratified random sampling method. Emotional Intelligence scale and teaching competency scale were used as the main tools. The obtained results showed that there is low correlation between Emotional intelligence and Teaching competency of student teachers. The relationship between Emotional intelligence and Teaching competency was noted to be a significant low correlation.
