The main objective of this study was to investigate the effect of change management practices on organization performance in the case of ethio telecom south region. To attain this objective, 50 males and 19 females totally (69) respondents were selected using simple random sampling. The population of the study was employees, supervisors and managers of ethio telecom south region. Simple Random sampling was used to select the appropriate sample of the respondent and the shops were selected by purposive sampling with respect to balanced scorecard management practices, kaizen philosophy management practice and standard quality circle management practice. Descriptive research designs as well qualitative and quantitative research approach were employed in conducting the study. Data was collected using questionnaires and interviews and analyzed using SPSS Version 24. Descriptive analysis namely percentage, mean, standard deviation and inferential analysis namely multiple linear regression were employed. The study indicated that balanced scored cared, kaizen and standard quality circle management practiced in ethio telecom south region occasionally. Moreover, this study revealed that balanced scored cared, kaizen and standard quality circle management practice contributed to ethio telecom south region organizational performance to a great extent. The study also showed that there was significant relationship between balanced scored cared, kaizen and standard quality circle management practices and organizational performance of ethio telecom south region. This study further revealed that balanced scored card, kaizen and standard quality circle management practices had a positive effect on organizational performance of ethio telecom south region. Likewise, this study showed that kaizen management practice is statistically significant in predicting organizational performance. More importantly, this study recommended ethio telecom south region to practice the balanced scorecard

<em><span lang="EN-US">This study aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of leadership and competence on the organizational performance of PT. Samick Indonesia. This study uses Simple Random Sampling. The population in this study were employees of PT. Samick Indonesia. With 156 samples. Data collection techniques using questionnaires which then have been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used to answer the hypothesis is multiple regression. The results of this study indicate that, Leadership is able to improve Organizational Performance. Competence is able to improve organizational performance thus it can be concluded that leadership and competence have a positive and significant influence on the organizational performance of PT. Penelitian ini mengkaji kualitas pelayanan dengan menggunakan Model SERVQUAL dan IPA (Important Performance Analysis) pada Jurusan Tarbiyah STAIN Gajah Putih. Dimensi pelayanan yang digunakan yaitu : Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Mixed Method dengan Model Sequential Explanatory, jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 1576 mahasiswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Simple Random Sampling menggunakan Rumus Slovin dengan jumlah sampel berjumlah 94 mahasiswa. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dengan menggunakan Skala Likert. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat tiga atribut layanan yang mempunyai kategori yang harus mendapatkan perhatian khusus, sembilan atribut layanan yang berkategori layanan yang baik tetapi mempunyai tingkat prioritas yang rendah, sepuluh atribut layanan yang berkategori atribut layanan yang mempunyai harapan dan persepsi yang rendah serta empat atribut layanan yang mempunyai kategori kinerja yang baik  dan telah melampui harapan dari para mahasiswa. Kata Kunci : Kualitas Pelayanan, SERVQUAThis study examines the quality of service using the SERVQUAL and IPA Models (Important Performance Analysis) at the STAIN Gajah Putih Tarbiyah Department. The dimensions of the services used are: Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy. The research approach used was Mix Method with Model Sequential Explanatory, the number of population in this study amounted to 1576 students with sampling techniques using Simple Random Sampling using Slovin Formula with a total sample of 94 students. The data used are primary data using a Likert Scale. Based on the results of the study there are three service attributes that have special attention categories, nine service categories that are categorized as good but have a low priority level, ten service attribute categories that have low expectations and perceptions and four service attributes has a good performance category and has exceeded the expectations of the students.Keywords : Service Quality, SERVQUAL And IPA

The study aimed at examining menstrual hygiene management practices among adolescent girls in public secondary schools in Kibondo District. The study used the mixed research approach with the convergent parallel design. The study was comprised of the sample size of 99 respondents from four out of 17 schools, including ten parents, 12 female teachers, 68 students, 4 matrons, 4 Heads of schools and 1 District Education Officer. Data collection was done through semi-structured interview, focus group discussion and questionnaire. Qualitative data analysis was done through content analysis while quantitative data were analyzed descriptively with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 20 and presented in tables through percentages, and frequencies. The study discovered that there are problems in MHM practices among public secondary schools under investigation. There were shortages of menstrual hygiene management practice facilities such as toilets and private areas to change absorbent pads, disposable mechanisms and water. The study recommended that adolescent girls should be provided with sanitary pads and education. There is need to improve MHM facilities such as water, disposable mechanisms and private rooms for changing absorbent materials for effective management of menstrual periods. Menstrual hygiene management topics should be integrated into the syllabi in order to increase awareness on MHM to adolescent girls. Teachers and health workers should closely provide guidance and health talks to adolescent girls, advising them on how to manage their menstrual-related illness effectively for their good performance in school.

Abstract We study the relationship between management practices, organizational performance, and task clarity, using observational data analysis on an original survey of the universe of Ghanaian civil servants across 45 organizations and novel administrative data on over 3,600 tasks they undertake. We first demonstrate that there is a large range of variation across government organizations, both in management quality and in task completion, and show that management quality is positively related to task completion. We then provide evidence that this association varies across dimensions of management practice. In particular, task completion exhibits a positive partial correlation with management practices related to giving staff autonomy and discretion, but a negative partial correlation with practices related to incentives and monitoring. Consistent with theories of task clarity and goal ambiguity, the partial relationship between incentives/monitoring and task completion is less negative when tasks are clearer ex ante and the partial relationship between autonomy/discretion and task completion is more positive when task completion is clearer ex post. Our findings suggest that organizations could benefit from providing their staff with greater autonomy and discretion, especially for types of tasks that are ill-suited to predefined monitoring and incentive regimes.

Organizational performance has made it imperative for rural and community bank management to employ the best organizational conditions that influence employee’s performance. Recent banking clean-up in Ghana has also emphasized the need for employees’ performance. This has become necessary to espouse management practices, employee behaviors, and attitudes that predict job performance. Drawing on social exchange theory and reciprocity norm, the study examines the effect of organizational climate on job performance. Valid responses received through a structured questionnaire were 431. Hierarchical multiple regression was employed to validate the hypotheses from the literature review. Relying on empirical data from Ghana, the findings revealed that, first, harmonious work passion partially mediated organizational climate and job performance relationship. Second, leader–member exchange negatively moderated the relationship between organizational climate and harmonious work passion. Finally, however, coaching as a management practice positively strengthened organizational climate and job performance relationship. The theoretical and practical contribution is also discussed.

Objective – This study explores the influence of product placement towards purchase intention while assessing the effectiveness of the ad determined by aspects of prominence, celebrity endorsement, modality, attitude towards movie and attitude towards brand.Methodology – This type of research was a quantitative method using associative research approach and measured by regression method. The distribution of questionnaires was a non-probability with simple random sampling. The survey was conducted to 184 respondents in Jakarta, Indonesia, in May 2019.Findings – The research found that modality does have a direct and significant effect on attitude towards the movie, attitude towards the brand, and purchase intention. We also find that celebrity endorsement has an impact on attitude towards the brand and purchase intention, not on attitude towards the movie. Prominence does not seem to have any relationship with all dependent variables.Novelty – Although research has investigated product/brand placement, we extend the literature by investigating modality, prominence, and celebrity endorsement.

This research has been aimed at evaluating the effect on the performance of workers of the Finance Management Institute. Descriptive research approach has been utilized for this. Simple random sampling technique was used to select the respondents for this study. The sample consisted of 25 senior employees and 25 younger employees (thus 50 in total). For data gathering, structured questionnaires have been utilized. The results of the research show that workplace organization has an effect on the respondents. The study has also shown that if management addresses the issues that have been discovered throughout research, the workers would enhance their performance. Such problems include flexibility in the workplace, noise distractions, personal connection of supervisors with workers, the availability of job support, the use of feedback for promotion and incentives. The results of our research also indicated that in order to resolve employee complaints, the company must have regular meetings with its workers as part of the motivating element. Management should develop methods and means of informing its workers of its objectives and plans so as to accomplish its mission, vision and business.

The balanced scorecard is a framework that organizations follow in aligning the organization strategy, communicate organization’s mission, prioritize projects, services and products as well as monitoring and measuring the advancement towards attaining the strategic objectives or targets. The overall organizational performance of Kenyatta National Hospital is still not up to standard even though it is anticipated to established high health-care standards offered to the public so that private and public hospitals can follow. Reports have revealed that cancer, heart, and kidney patients receive delayed treatment. In addition, the hospital is said to lack enough functional specialized medical equipment as well as inadequate financial support, industrial unrests, patients overcrowding, claims of medical negligence and poor service delivery. Therefore, it a major concern to the government and other stakeholders. Based on these challenges, Kenyatta National Hospital introduced a five-year strategic plan 2013 to 2018 centred on the Balanced Scorecard approach. It was within this context that the study sought to establish the influence of balanced scorecard perspectives on organizational performance of Kenyatta national hospital. The study was guided by the following specific objectives; to find out whether focus on customer perspective, financial perspective, internal business processes perspective, learning and growth perspective influence the performance of KNH Kenya. The study was also guided by Stakeholder theory, Resource based view theory and institutional theory. The study adopted a descriptive research design with quantitative techniques. The target population for the study were 80 management staff of KNH. The sample size for the study was calculated to be 67. The study used stratified random sampling procedure and simple random sampling to recruit a sample that represented the target population. Data was collected using a pre-tested structured questionnaire to capture participants insight on balanced scorecard perspectives and the overall organizational performance. Their responses on several items were scored and the scores were used in bivariate analysis and Multiple regression analysis. Descriptive statistics like measures of central tendency were used for continuous data while frequencies were used for categorical data. The data analysis was done using SPSS version 23. These results show that financial perspective and customer perspectives focus were statistically significant predictor of organizational performance at (p<0.05) while internal business process and learning and growth were not statistically significant when regressed together. An R squared of 0.593 which implied that focusing on all of the balanced scorecard perspectives contributed up to 59.3% of organizational performance. The study concludes that focus on balanced scorecard perspectives have a positive influence on organizational performance. However, there are variation on the magnitude of influence among the perspective. Therefore, the balanced scorecard can be used as a strategic management tool in public facilities and not only as a measurement tool. The study recommends that KNH should continue using the balanced scorecard and other public hospitals or institutions should also adopt it. The continuous usage and new adoption of the balanced scorecard would ensure better organizational performance.

The study sought to determine challenges to food security among households of CBOs implementing agroforestry in Rongai Sub County in Nakuru and mitigation factors. The study was anchored on the systems theory and employed a mixed research methods design with simple random sampling used to get the CBOs from which the respondents were drawn. The target population was 630 members of all forty-seven (47) CBOs implementing agroforestry in the study area. The sample size was 245 respondents selected using the proportionate random sampling method. Questionnaires comprising of both open-ended and closed-ended questions were used to collect the data. From the study, the food produced by the households is insufficient and has to be supplemented by those outside the households. The food produced is of quality controlled by factors including farm management practices and capital availability for production. There is food inaccessibility as those produced are a source of income for the households yet insufficient. However, there is an improvement compared to previous years. The households’ food production is unstable as shown by variations in production and insufficiency of the food. Food security is challenged by the failure of all members of CBOs to take part in decision-making processes, reporting, roles, and responsibilities not being assigned appropriately. Mitigation factors are hardly employed by the CBOs to curb the challenges faced in implementing agroforestry. The study recommends building the capacity of CBOs implementing agroforestry in areas of resource mobilization, empowering them to harmonize governance processes, developing and implementing an M&E framework. It also recommends the development and implementation of sound policies that promote agroforestry expansion

Abstract: The existence of students’ Natural Science worksheets use as a media for doing exercises and being sources all at once. Uneffective tool of study for users, because of an incomplete material in students worksheets. This research aims to discover the impact of students worksheet media with take and give basis to natural science study results on fifth grade students in SD Negeri 1 Jabung, Jabung subdistrict Malang regency, and the total amount of the effect using students worksheet with take and give based model. This study used quantitative research approach and the type of this study was experimental study with true experimental design. The sample collection technique was simple random sampling. As a data population, the researcher choosen V grades students of SDN 1 Jabung , Jabung subdistrict, Malang regency with academic year of 2016/2017 amounted to 44 students. As an experimental class, the researcher choosen VB class as much as 23 students and VA class as a control class with the total students as much as 21 students. The result of the study shown that (1) in the hypothesis test which use t-test, the result is 0.032 with the significance 5%. It can be seen that the significant value (2-tailed) ˂ 0,05 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. (2) the total amount of the effect using students worksheet with take and give based model toward the result of IPA (Natural Science) study had a significant influece as much as 47,9%.Keywords: Effect, student worksheet, Take and Give, IPA (Natural Science) study resultAbstrak: Keberadaan LKS IPA digunakan sebagai media untuk mengerjakan soal sekaligus sebagai sumber belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media LKS berbasis model take and give terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri Jabung 1 Kec.Jabung Kab.Malang, dan besar pengaruh penggunaan media LKS berbasis model take and give. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain true experimental design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling . Sebagai populasi data, dipilih siswa kelas V SD Negeri Jabung 1 Kec.Jabung Kab.Malang tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 44. Yang terpilih menjadi kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas VB dengan jumlah 23 siswa dan kelas kontrol yaitu kelas VA dengan jumlah 21 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunujukkan (1) pada uji hipotesis yang menggunakan uji t, hasilnya sebesar 0,032 dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Terlihat bahwa nilai Sig.(2-tailed) < 0,05 sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. (2) besar pengaruh penggunaan LKS berbasis model take and give terhadap hasil belajar IPA memberikan kontribusi sebesar 47,9% .Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS), Take and Give, Hasil Belajar IPA
