For stable and rhythmic operation of the sorting station, the design of a sorting slide is necessary. The parameters of the sorting slide during design are determined in accordance with the methodology “Rules and norms for the design of sorting devices for 1520 mm gauge railways". The estimated height should provide the most difficult route of the sorting park. The results of the analysis of the methodology for determining the difficult from the point of view of rolling the sorting park path are presented, a formula is proposed that simplifies the procedure for determining such a path. It is possible to transfer calculations to a computer program even in the process of developing a neck plan for a sorting park.

The article provides a comparative analysis of existing software products and libraries that allow the design of multi-agent systems for diagnostics and maintenance systems for modern cars. The authors substantiate two main shortcomings inherent in all products - analogues: the need for high qualification of the user as a software code developer, and low performance of intelligent methods in the structure of agents, which worsens their performance. Both manufacturers and car owners are objectively interested in the widespread use of telematics systems for monitoring the technical condition of cars. Predictive diagnostics gives them access to a huge amount of information about all the nuances of car operation, wherever they are, during the entire service life. The application of this approach using a multi-agent system (MAS) will allow taking the next step in this direction. Information from the connected vehicles goes to the main server. Systematization and analysis of data make it possible to establish the causes of malfunctions, identify patterns of their occurrence and make further predictions. Purpose of the work: to perform a comparative analysis of existing software products and libraries that allow the design of multi-agent systems. The topic of the work is disclosed on the example of the analysis of software tools for the development and design of MAS at the present stage. There are a number of systems and libraries on the market designed for the development of multi-agent systems. These Case - systems are suitable for the development of multi-agent systems of any direction, that is, they are universal from this point of view. Therefore, for us it is a universal application tool for the automotive industry. Ultimately, the work performed a comparative analysis of existing software products and libraries that allow the design of multi-agent systems. The analysis revealed two main drawbacks inherent in all products - analogs: the need for high user qualifications as a developer of software code, and low indicators of the possibilities of introducing intelligent methods into the structure of agents, worsens the indicators of their work.

Abstract The article presents a solution of a problem that is critical from a practical point of view: how to share a higher than usual discount of $10 million among 5 importers. The discount is a result of forming a coalition by 5 current, formerly competing, importers. The use of Shapley value as a concept for co-operative games yielded a solution that was satisfactory for 4 lesser importers and not satisfactory for the biggest importer. Appropriate modification of Shapley value presented in this article allowed to identify appropriate distribution of the saved purchase amount, which according to each player accurately reflects their actual strength and position on the importer market. A computer program was used in order to make appropriate calculations for 325 permutations of all possible coalitions. In the last chapter of this paper, we recognize the lasting contributions of Lloyd Shapley to the cooperative game theory, commemorating his recent (March 12, 2016) descent from this world.

Abstract Artificial intelligence (AI) has made impressive progress over the past few years, including many applications in medical imaging. Numerous commercial solutions based on AI techniques are now available for sale, forcing radiology practices to learn how to properly assess these tools. While several guidelines describing good practices for conducting and reporting AI-based research in medicine and radiology have been published, fewer efforts have focused on recommendations addressing the key questions to consider when critically assessing AI solutions before purchase. Commercial AI solutions are typically complicated software products, for the evaluation of which many factors are to be considered. In this work, authors from academia and industry have joined efforts to propose a practical framework that will help stakeholders evaluate commercial AI solutions in radiology (the ECLAIR guidelines) and reach an informed decision. Topics to consider in the evaluation include the relevance of the solution from the point of view of each stakeholder, issues regarding performance and validation, usability and integration, regulatory and legal aspects, and financial and support services. Key Points • Numerous commercial solutions based on artificial intelligence techniques are now available for sale, and radiology practices have to learn how to properly assess these tools. • We propose a framework focusing on practical points to consider when assessing an AI solution in medical imaging, allowing all stakeholders to conduct relevant discussions with manufacturers and reach an informed decision as to whether to purchase an AI commercial solution for imaging applications. • Topics to consider in the evaluation include the relevance of the solution from the point of view of each stakeholder, issues regarding performance and validation, usability and integration, regulatory and legal aspects, and financial and support services.

This research reveals meaning of “boundary line” due to the precast module system in Seruni 8 block, ‘Rusunawa’ Bumi Cengkareng Indah, Jakarta, Indonesia. The Grounded Theory method, with the type of “constant comparison”, which is a semi-grounded theory, is chosen to express the meaning of the “boundary line” from the residents’ point of view. The coding process in data processing uses computer program Maxqda. The results of this study indicate that well-established relationships between occupants can transform the boundaries of private corridor ownership (individual territory) into joint ownership (communal territory) as a place to socialize and share goods placed in the corridor, and maintain the cleanliness of the corridor together, so that the “boundary line” due to the precast module system for residents of the Seruni 8 block, ‘Rusunawa’ Bumi Cengkareng Indah, Jakarta, does not affect the meaning of the boundaries as the individual territory, because the communal territory is stronger than the “boundary line” due to the precast module system.

This study examined the problems of calculating the time to create a software product using the example of the company "RKIT" LLC. The article discussed the analysis of the most effective, from the point of view of the authors, methods for assessing the complexity of projects. As a result of the review, the authors suggested to create a decision support system. This system will consist of two blocks: an automated information computing system based on the PERT method and an artificial intelligence system in the form of an expert system, which is a repository of expert knowledge. The creation of a DSS will reduce the time for experts to make decisions and reduce the likelihood of a decrease in the profitability of the project, which will lead to an increase in the company's profit.

Software testing is anessentialprocess for ensuring thequality and reliability of software products. The efficiency of testing activities depends largely on the test case quality, which is considered as one of the major concerns of software testing. Unfortunately, at the moment there is no clear guideline that can be referred by software testers in producing good quality test cases. Hence, producing guideline is certainly required. To construct a pragmatic guideline, it is crucial to identify the factors that lead todesigninggood quality test cases. The existing test case quality factors are not comprehensive and need further investigation and improvement. Therefore,a content analysis was conducted to identify the test case qualityfactors from software testing experts point of view available in the software testing websites. The software testing websites provide explicit information about the quality of test cases in order to avoid the poor design of test cases. Thus, this study presents the outcomes of content analysis from 22 software testing websites which comprise of static content websites and blogs.Consequently, eight (8)factors and their corresponding 30 sub-factors were identified. Among the factors are documentation, manageability, maintainability, reusability, requirement quality, efficiency, tester knowledge, and effectiveness of test cases. These factors are useful to be referred by the practitioners in assuring the quality of the design test cases which implicitly can ensure the quality of the software products.

Loss enhancement because of extraordinary stoppage of technological equipment due to breakage of separate equipment units is an actual task. Existing methodologies of equipment status estimation, based on planning systems, instrumental checks, and personal experience do not ensure always revealing of the incipient of breakdown status in separate elements of the equipment, which often results in breakdown situations and extraordinary repairs. Studies of analysis statistical methods application were accomplished for early revealing indications of electromechanical equipment failure at an example of predicting breakdown status of rollers of rolling mill roll-table. As a parameter under the study, the current signal was chosen, measured at the electric motor of a roller, since it reacts practically without inertia on external oscillations in mechanical part of the facility. The variations of the current curve form reflect any variations of the equipment operation character. From this point of view, the electrical motor itself can be considered as a technical mean of diagnostics of mechanical oscillations in the load with a short response time. Statistical analysis of electric motors current data within one month of roll-table rollers operation, within which 14 jams took place, was carried out. Based on the results of the analysis it was determined, that the process of the jams intensification for various rollers has a similar character. A possibility wa shown to predict the developing and identification of a roller defect by a type of a jam several hours before commencement of the breakdown status, based on one parameter – the load current. Based on sampling of the rollers statistical data in various operation modes and mark of breakdown stops, it is possible to learn the nonlinear machine model for classification of a roller breakdown degree by extracted from the distribution form of statistical current characteristics. The elaborated models in the form of software products and machine codes can be implemented in algorithms of existing at a plant automation systems and technological process and equipment status control systems.

during the past four decades, new software development approaches were presented to going with new trends of the software development companies and developers. Nowadays most software companies search to customise short period and minimal costs to produce valuable software products. These productions are within unstable, changing environments. Agile Methodologies were thus introduced to achieve the new requirements of the software development companies.  Agile development invented for handling change. The key benefit of agile methodology is used to simplify the change-oriented software engineering process, but agile methodology needs to take more consideration to user point of view. Although the weaknesses of prototyping approach have, it can be used effectively by end users to describe requirements that developers may not have considered.  This paper presents a proposed framework based on merge prototyping and agile approaches not only to cure the weaknesses of agile development and prototype methodology but to enrol the user in every single step, which will lead to faster and much accepted overall results.

Relevance. Buckling analysis is important in the design of buildings and structures. It is used in various fields of engineering - mechanical engineering, aircraft and shipbuilding, civil engineering, etc. Until the second half of the twentieth century, mainly analytical methods of buckling were applied in practice. With the appearance of computers, numerical methods, in particular, the finite element analysis, began to prevail. Buckling analysis was implemented in programs of finite element analysis, such as NASTRAN, ANSYS, ABAQUS, ADAMS, DIANA, and others. In view of great responsibility, buckling analysis of structure should be carried out using at least two different programs. However, due to the high cost of software products, not all project organizations are able to have a number of programs. An alternative is to develop programs that can complete buckling analysis using several methods. This would increase the reliability and quality of calculation results. The PRINS computer program has opportunity for buckling analysis using two methods - static and dynamic. The aims of the work - to show the theoretical aspects and practical implementation of the dynamic principle of buckling analysis in buildings and structures using finite element method, as well as to give the algorithm implemented in the PRINS program and the results of verification calculations confirming its reliability. Results. The algorithm presented in this article and implemented in the PRINS computer program allows to determine critical loads using a dynamic buckling criterion. On the basis of numerous verification calculations, it was established that the implemented algorithm was effective for determining critical loads in frame, thin-walled and ribbed plate structures. The use of the PRINS computer program enables to use an alternative method for determining critical loads for a wide class of engineering problems in addition to the classical (static) method.

Keywords: computer program, economic and legal regulation, taxation, licenseagreement, initial cost, value added tax, royalties The article deals with the economic and legal aspects of using computer programs inbusiness operations. In particular, certain problems of taxation relating to the creationand use of computer programs are considered. There have been consideredways and means of representations in the accounting of the following operations: purchaseof intellectual property rights to a computer program, supply of a computer programfrom a non-resident (resident) to a resident. The principles of the formation ofthe cost of a computer program, depending on the terms of purchase, have been outlined. The has been defined the concept of royalties from the use of a computer programin the economic activity of an enterprise. The article indicates that the supply ofservices (performance of work) related to software products and that introducechanges to the software are deemed to be any updates, changes, additions to expandtheir functionality. Such an operation is referred to as the supply of software productsusing IT benefits. The supply of services that do not introduce changes, namely: installation, configuration, testing, identification and rectification of deficiencies, information, and consulting support is referred to operations that are subject to VAT atthe general rate. The article states that VAT is charged on operations for the supplyof software products from a non-resident (resident) to a resident in the customs territory(customs territory) of Ukraine, which, in turn, is not subject to VAT. At the sametime, if as a result of the provision of technical support services for software products(including software products provided for use under the license agreement) there areno changes in software products (for example, training staff to work with the program, installing the program, configuration of office equipment, etc.), then operationsfor the provision of such services are subject to VAT in the generally established mannerin the amount of 20 percent. There has been determined the need to improve economic and legal regulation ofthe creation and use of computer programs in the economic activities of companies interms of taxation.
